Celastrus orbiculatus extract induces mitochondrial-mediated apoptosis in human hepatocellular carcinoma cells显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To investigate the apoptotic effects and underlying molecular mechanisms of Celastrus orbiculatus(C.orbiculatus) extract in human hepatocellular carcinoma cells.METHODS:Human hepatocellular carcinoma cells(HCCLM6) were treated with C.orbiculatus extract(COE) at different nontoxic concentrations(10,20,40,80,and 160 μg/mL).The effect of COE on HC-CLM6 viability was examined using 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyl tetrazolium bromide(MTT) assays.Cellular apoptosis following COE treatment was assessed by flow cytometry and western blot analysis.RESULTS:COE significantly inhibited cell viability and induced apoptosis of HCCLM6 cells in a dose-dependent manner.Apoptosis was accompanied by increased Bax expression and decreased Bcl-2 expression. In addition,COE treatment led to the release of cytochrome c,activation of caspase-3,and cleavage of poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase(PARP).Furthermore, activation of extracellular signal-regulated kinase(ERK),p38 kinase, and c-Jun N-terminal kinase(JNK) phosphorylation, and down-regulation of Akt phosphorylation was observed.CONCLUSION:COE induces mitochondrial-mediated,caspase-dependent apoptosis in HCCLM6 cells, which might be attributed to the activation of mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK) and inhibition of Akt signaling pathways. These data suggest that COE may be a potential treatment for human hepatocellular carcinoma.Hua Zhang Yayun Qian Yanqing Liu Guoqing Li Pingfang Cui Yaodong Zhu Hui Ma Xue Ji Shiyu Guo Hisamits Tadashi 2012Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2012,32,4:18
Stem cell-based bone and dental regeneration: a view of microenvironmental modulation显示文摘In modern medicine, bone and dental loss and defects are common and widespread morbidities, for which regenerative therapy has shown great promise.Mesenchymal stem cells, obtained from various sources and playing an essential role in organ development and postnatal repair, have exhibited enormous potential for regenerating bone and dental tissue.Currently, mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs)-based bone and dental regeneration mainly includes two strategies: the rescue or mobilization of endogenous MSCs and the application of exogenous MSCs in cytotherapy or tissue engineering.Nevertheless, the efficacy of MSCbased regeneration is not always fulfilled, especially in diseased microenvironments.Specifically, the diseased microenvironment not only impairs the regenerative potential of resident MSCs but also controls the therapeutic efficacy of exogenous MSCs,both as donors and recipients.Accordingly, approaches targeting a diseased microenvironment have been established, including improving the diseased niche to restore endogenous MSCs,enhancing MSC resistance to a diseased microenvironment and renormalizing the microenvironment to guarantee MSC-mediated therapies. Moreover, the application of extracellular vesicles (EVs) as cell-free therapy has emerged as a promising therapeutic strategy. In this review,we summarize current knowledge regarding the tactics of MSC-based bone and dental regeneration and the decisive role of the microenvironment, emphasizing the therapeutic potential of microenvironment-targeting strategies in bone and dental regenerative medicine.Chenxi Zheng Ji Chen Shiyu Liu Yan Jin 2019International Journal of Oral Science2019,11,3:18
Dissimilar Al/Mg alloys friction stir lap welding with Zn foil assisted by ultrasonic显示文摘The Zn-added ultrasonic assisted friction stir lap welding(UaFSLW) was carried out to improve the quality of dissimilar Al/Mg alloys joint. The effects of ultrasonic power on the joint quality were also investigated. The results indicated that the larger effective lap width and mixing region between Mg and Al(Mg/Al MR) were attained by Zn foil addition and external ultrasonic assistance. Compared with the conventional joint, the finer and better-distributed Mg-Zn IMCs placing the continuous Al-Mg IMCs were formed in the Mg/Al MR of the Zn-added UaFSLW joint. The Zn foil addition and external ultrasonic assistance significantly improved the tensile shear load of the joint, and the load was increased with the increase of the ultrasonic power. The maximum tensile shear load of 7.95 kN was attained, which was 52.6% larger than that of the conventional joint.Shude Ji Shiyu Niu Jianguang Liu 2019Journal of Materials Science & Technology2019,35,8:6
Improving Joint Morphologies and Tensile Strength of Al/Mg Dissimilar Alloys Friction Stir Lap Welding by Changing Zn Interlayer Thickness显示文摘The pure Zn foils with different thicknesses(0.02, 0.05, 0.1, 0.2 and 0.3 mm) were selected as interlayers to improve the quality of friction stir lap welding joint of 7075-T6 Al and AZ31 B Mg dissimilar alloys. The effects of the interlayer thickness on joint formation, microstructure and tensile strength were analyzed. The results displayed that the maximum length of the boundary between stir zone(SZ) and thermo-mechanically affected zone in lower plate was obtained by the addition of the Zn interlayer with 0.05 mm thickness. The Mg–Zn intermetallic compounds(IMCs) were discontinuously distributed in the SZ, replacing the continuous Al–Mg IMCs. The size of Mg–Zn IMCs increased with the increase in the thickness of the Zn interlayer. The maximum tensile shear strength of 276 N mm-1 was obtained by the addition of 0.05 mm Zn foil, which increased by 45.6% of that of the joint without the Zn foil addition.Jinglin Liu Shiyu Niu Rong Ren Shude Ji Lei Wang Zan Lv 2019Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2019,32,11:5
Chidamide combined with cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine and prednisone in previously untreated patients with peripheral T-cell lymphoma显示文摘Objective:Chidamide is an oral histone deacetylase subtype-selective inhibitor approved for relapsed or refractory peripheral T-cell lymphoma(PTCL).This phase 1 b study evaluated the safety, pharmacokinetics, and preliminary efficacy of chidamide in combination with cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine and prednisone(CHOP)for treatment-na?ve PTCL patients. Methods:This study was an open-label,multicenter trial composed of dose escalation and dose expansion.Patients received CHOP for six 21-d cycles and chidamide on d 1,4,8 and 11 in each cycle.Four dose levels of chidamide(20,25,30 and 35 mg)were evaluated. The primary objective was to evaluate the safety and tolerability of the combination regimen. Results:A total of 30 patients were evaluated in this study:15 in the dose-escalation part and 15 in the doseexpansion part.In the dose-escalation study, three patients were enrolled in the 35 mg chidamide cohort. One had dose-limiting toxicity with grade 3 vascular access complications, and one had grade 2 neutropenia with a sustained temperature>38°C.Dose escalation was stopped at this chidamide dose level. The most common(≥10%)grade 3 or 4 adverse events(AEs)were leukopenia(90.0%),neutropenia(83.3%),vomiting(13.3%),thrombocytopenia(10.0%)and febrile neutropenia(10.0%).No significant changes in chidamide pharmacokinetic properties were observed before and after combination treatment. The objective response rate for the 28 patients evaluable for preliminary efficacy was 89.3%(25/28),with 16(57.1%)achieving complete response or unconfirmed complete response. The estimated median progression-free survival was 14.0 months. In summary,we chose chidamide 30 mg as the recommended dose for phase 2.Conclusions:The addition of chidamide to standard CHOP chemotherapy was tolerable with promising preliminary efficacy in previously untreated PTCL patients, which supports further clinical studies with this combination regimen for the frontline treatment of PTCL.Lin Gui Junning Cao Dongmei Ji Huilai Zhang Qian Fan Jun Zhu Yuqin Song Shiyu Jiang Zhiqiang Ning Jia Yu Yuankai Shi 2021Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2021,33,5:3
Persistent anomalous flows over the subtropical western Pacific insummer显示文摘The distribution of global persistent anomalies shows that the subtropical western Pacific is a key region with high_frequency occurrence of persistent anomalies. Analyses of streamfunction anomalies, OLR anomalies etc. suggest that the convective heating related to Indian monsoon might be responsible for the development of WPA. The results of numerical experiment by two linear barotropic models support the observation.ZHUANG Shiyu\+1 and JI Liren\+2 1. 8An invasive zone in human liver cancer identified by Stereo-seq promotes hepatocyte–tumor cell crosstalk, local immunosuppression and tumor progression显示文摘Dissecting and understanding the cancer ecosystem, especially that around the tumor margins, which have strong implications for tumor cell infiltration and invasion, are essential for exploring the mechanisms of tumor metastasis and developing effective new treatments.Using a novel tumor border scanning and digitization model enabled by nanoscale resolution-SpaTial Enhanced REsolution Omics-sequencing(Stereo-seq),we identified a 500µm-wide zone centered around the tumor border in patients with liver cancer, referred to as“the invasive zone”.We detected strong immunosuppression, metabolic reprogramming, and severely damaged hepatocytes in this zone.We also identified a subpopulation of damaged hepatocytes with increased expression of serum amyloid A1 and A2(referred to collectively as SAAs)located close to the border on the paratumor side.Overexpression of CXCL6 in adjacent malignant cells could induce activation of the JAK-STAT3 pathway in nearby hepatocytes, which subsequently caused SAAs’overexpression in these hepatocytes.Furthermore, overexpression and secretion of SAAs by hepatocytes in the invasive zone could lead to the recruitment of macrophages and M2 polarization, further promoting local immunosuppression, potentially resulting in tumor progression.Clinical association analysis in additional five independent cohorts of patients with primary and secondary liver cancer(n=423)showed that patients with overexpression of SAAs in the invasive zone had a worse prognosis.Further in vivo experiments using mouse liver tumor models in situ confirmed that the knockdown of genes encoding SAAs in hepatocytes decreased macrophage accumulation around the tumor border and delayed tumor growth. The identification and characterization of a novel invasive zone in human cancer patients not only add an important layer of understanding regarding the mechanisms of tumor invasion and metastasis, but may also pave the way for developing novel therapeutic strategies for advanced liver cancer and other solid tumors.Liang Wu Jiayan Yan Yinqi Bai Feiyu Chen Xuanxuan Zou Jiangshan Xu Ao Huang Liangzhen Hou Yu Zhong Zehua Jing Qichao Yu Xiaorui Zhou Zhifeng Jiang Chunqing Wang Mengnan Cheng Yuan Ji Yingyong Hou Rongkui Luo Qinqin Li Liang Wu Jianwen Cheng Pengxiang Wang Dezhen Guo Waidong Huang Junjie Lei Shang Liu Yizhen Yan Yiling Chen Sha Liao Yuxiang Li Haixiang Sun Na Yao Xiangyu Zhang Shiyu Zhang Xi Chen Yang Yu Yao Li Fengming Liu Zheng Wang Shaolai Zhou Huanming Yang Shuang Yang Xun Xu Longqi Liu Qiang Gao Zhaoyou Tang Xiangdong Wang Jian Wang Jia Fan Shiping Liu Xinrong Yang Ao Chen Jian Zhou 2023Cell Research2023,33,8:1
An Algorithm to Recognize the Target Object Contour Based on 2D Point Clouds by Laser-CCD-Scanning显示文摘For a vision measurement system consisted of laser-CCD scanning sensors, an algorithm is proposed to extract and recognize the target object contour. Firstly, the two-dimensional(2D) point cloud that is output by the integrated laser sensor is transformed into a binary image. Secondly, the potential target object contours are segmented and extracted based on the connected domain labeling and adaptive corner detection. Then, the target object contour is recognized by improved Hu invariant moments and BP neural network classifier. Finally, we extract the point data of the target object contour through the reverse transformation from a binary image to a 2D point cloud. The experimental results show that the average recognition rate is 98.5% and the average recognition time is 0.18 s per frame. This algorithm realizes the real-time tracking of the target object in the complex background and the condition of multi-moving objects.MAO Hongyong SHI Duanwei ZHOU Ji XU Pan CHEN Shiyu XU Yuxiang FENG Fan 2015Wuhan University Journal of Natural Sciences2015,20,4:1
Selective Adsorption and Electrocatalysis of Polysulfides through Hexatomic Nickel Clusters Embedded in N-Doped Graphene toward High-Performance Li-S Batteries显示文摘The shuttle effect hinders the practical application of lithium-sulfur(Li-S)batteries due to the poor affinity between a substrate and Li polysulfides(LiPSs)and the sluggish transition of soluble LiPSs to insoluble Li2S or elemental S.Here,we report that Ni hexatomic clusters embedded in a nitrogen-doped three-dimensional(3D)graphene framework(Ni-N/G)possess stronger interaction with soluble polysulfides than that with insoluble polysulfides. The synthetic electrocatalyst deployed in the sulfur cathode plays a multifunctional role:(i)selectively adsorbing the polysulfides dissolved in the electrolyte,(ii)expediting the sluggish liquid-solid phase transformations at the active sites as electrocatalysts, and(iii)accelerating the kinetics of the electrochemical reaction of multielectron sulfur, thereby inhibiting the dissolution of LiPSs.The constructed S@Ni-N/G cathode delivers an areal capacity of 9.43mAhcm^(-2) at 0.1 C at S loading of 6.8 mg cm^(-2),and it exhibits a gravimetric capacity of 1104mAhg^(-1) with a capacity fading rate of 0.045%per cycle over 50 cycles at 0.2 C at S loading of 2.0 mg cm^(-2).This work opens a rational approach to achieve the selective adsorption and expediting of polysulfide transition for the performance enhancement of Li-S batteries.Jiapeng Ji Ying Sha Zeheng Li Xuehui Gao Teng Zhang Shiyu Zhou Tong Qiu Shaodong Zhou Liang Zhang Min Ling Yanglong Hou Chengdu Liang 2020Research2020,,1:1

The Impact of New Standard of Financial Instruments on Commercial Banks- A Case Study of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China显示文摘In July 2014,《International Financial Reporting Standard 9:Financial Instruments》(Referred to IFRS 9)was formally published. Compared to the former standard,《International Accounting Standard 39: Financial Instruments》(Referred to IAS 39), rules of two main aspects, the classification and measurement of financial assets and the impairment model of financial assets have been changed in IFRS 9. Taking ICBC as an example, this paper studies the impact of changes in financial instruments on commercial banks. The study shows three impacts on commercial banks’ financial report. Firstly, the changes of the classification and measurement of financial assets will have limited impacts on commercial banks. Secondly, the expected-loss model will significantly increase the loan loss reserves under the new standard, thus reducing the net asset and net profit. Thirdly, the change in the measurement way of the equity instruments of available-for-sale securities will increase the fluctuation of the net profit. This study shows investors and regulators the impact of the new standard of financial instruments on commercial banks.Yubo Li Shiyu Ji 2019经济管理学刊(中英文版)2019,8,1:1
Oxygen-coordinated low-nucleus cluster catalysts for enhanced electrocatalytic water oxidation显示文摘The oxygen evolution reaction(OER)activity of single-atom catalysts(SACs)is closely related to the coordination environment of the active site.Oxygencoordinated atomic metal species bring about unique features beyond nitrogen-coordinated atomic metal species due to the fact that the M-O bond is weaker than the M-N bond.Herein,a series of metal-oxygen-carbon structured low-nucleus clusters(LNCs)are successfully anchored on the surface of multiwalled carbon nanotubes(M-MWCNTs,M=Ni,Co,or Fe)through a foolproof low-temperature gas transfer(300℃)method without any further treatment. The morphology and coordination configuration of the LNCs at the atomic level were confirmed by comprehensive characterizations. The synthetic Ni-MWCNTs electrocatalyst features excellent OER activity and stability under alkaline conditions, transcending the performances of Co-MWCNTs,Fe-MWCNTs and RuO_(2).Density functional theory calculations reveal that the moderate oxidation of low-nucleus Ni clusters changes the unoccupied orbital of Ni atoms, thereby lowering the energy barrier of the OER rate-limiting step and making the OER process more energy-efficient.This study demonstrates a novel versatile platform for large-scale manufacturing of oxygen-coordinated LNC catalysts.Jiapeng Ji Yunpeng Hou Shiyu Zhou Tong Qiu Liang Zhang Lu Ma Chao Qian Shaodong Zhou Chengdu Liang Min Ling 2023Carbon Energy2023,5,2:1
Bio-inspired smart surface to achieve controllable locomotion through adjustable anisotropic friction显示文摘Anisotropic friction generated by microstructured surfaces is crucial for performing functions such as directional locomotion and adhesion in biological systems.Hence,an epoxy-based shape memory polymer(SMP)incorporating Fe_(3)O_(4) nanoparticles is used in this study to create a smart surface with oriented structures to mimic anisotropic friction and exploit human-developed controllable locomotion systems.Applying the specific properties of the epoxy-based SMP,fast switching friction can be achieved by adjusting the topography and stiffness of the microstructures on the surface. In addition, the photothermogenesis effect of Fe_(3)O_(4) nanoparticles induces changes in the asymmetric topography and stiffness on the SMP surface under the irradiation of near-infrared(NIR)light,thereby inducing a rapid switching of the friction force.Furthermore,a microbot is created to demonstrate remotely controlled locomotion, such as unidirectional and round-trip movements, and braking by switching the friction force under NIR light. These results are promising for the design of new intelligent surfaces and interfaces;additionally, they may facilitate the investigation of biological structures and processes.Zhongying JI Shiyu QIN Shuanhong MA Xin JIA Xiaolong WANG Feng ZHOU 2022Friction2022,10,8:0
Deep Learning Based User Grouping for FD-MIMO Systems Exploiting Statistical Channel State Information显示文摘The joint spatial division and multiplexing(JSDM)is a two-phase precoding scheme for massive multiple-input-multiple-output(MIMO)system under frequency division duplex(FDD)mode to reduce the amount of channel state information(CSI)feedback. To apply this scheme, users need to be partitioned into groups so that users in the same group have similar channel covariance eigenvectors while users in different groups have almost orthogonal eigenvectors. In this paper, taking the clustered user model into account,we consider the user grouping of JSDM for the downlink massive MIMO system with uniform planar antenna array(UPA)at base station(BS).A deep learning based user grouping algorithm is proposed to improve the efficiency of the user grouping process. The proposed grouping algorithm transfers the statistical CSI of all users into a picture, and utilizes the deep learning enabled objective detection model you look only once(YOLO)to divide the users into different groups rapidly.Simulation results show that the proposed user grouping scheme can achieve higher sum rate with less time delay.Shupeng Ji Qisheng Wang Shiyu Wu Jiachen Tian Xiao Li Wenjin Wang 2021China Communications2021,18,7:0
Large-scale CO(J=1-0)Observations toward the M120.1+3.0 Molecular Cloud:A Filament with a Chain of Starburst Clusters显示文摘We present large-scale(2°×2°)observations toward the molecular cloud M120.1+3.0,using ^(12)CO,^(13)CO and C^(18)O(J=1-0)data from the Purple Mountain Observatory 13.7 m millimeter telescope. The distance of the cloud is measured to be~1.1 kpc.Using the ^(13)CO data,we identify a main filament F1 and two sub-filaments F2 and F3 in the cloud, which together show a'hub-filament'structure.Filaments F1 and F2 are thermally supercritical.Furthermore,F1 displays clear localized systematic motions in the ^(13)CO position-velocity diagram, which could be explained by accretion along the filament. The mean estimated accretion rate is~132M_(⊙)Myr^(-1).Approximately 150 ^(13)CO clumps are identified in the cloud,of which 39 are gravitationally bound. Most of these virialized clumps are well distributed along the supercritical filaments F1 and F2.Based on the complementary infrared and optical data,we identify~186 young stellar objects in the observed area and extract five clusters within the dense ridge of F1.The calculated star formation rate(SFR)surface densities(∑_(SFR))in the clusters range from 1.4 to 2.5 M_(⊙)Myr^(-1)pc^(-2),with a mean value of~2.0M_(⊙)Myr^(-1)pc^(-2).We therefore regard them as mini-starburst cluster candidates. The comparison between ∑_(SFR) and column density N_(gas) along the skeleton of F1 suggests that star formation is closely related to the dense gas in the cloud.Along the main filament F1,five bipolar outflows are also found. All these results indicate intense star-forming activities in the M120.1+3.0 molecular cloud.Li Sun Xuepeng Chen Jiancheng Feng Min Fang Shiyu Zhang Weihua Guo Yan Sun Yang Su Shaobo Zhang Miaomiao Zhang Xiao-Long Wang Qing-Zeng Yan Xin Zhou Ji Yang 2023Research in Astronomy and Astrophysics2023,23,1:0
Dual Power Allocation Optimization Based on Stackelberg Game in Heterogeneous Network with Hybrid Energy Supplies显示文摘In heterogeneous network with hybrid energy supplies including green energy and on-grid energy, it is imperative to increase the utilization of green energy as well as to improve the utilities of users and networks. As the difference of hybrid energy source in stability and economy, thus, this paper focuses on the network with hybrid energy source, and design the utility of each user in the hybrid energy source system from the perspective of stability, economy and environment pollution. A dual power allocation algorithm based on Stackelberg game to maximize the utilities of users and networks is proposed. In addition, an iteration method is proposed which enables all players to reach the Stackelberg equilibrium(SE). Simulation results validate that players can reach the SE and the utilities of users and networks can be maximization, and the green energy can be efficiently used.Shiyu Ji Liangrui Tang Mengxi Zhang Shimo Du 2017China Communications2017,14,10:0
