1Commissioning progress of the FAST显示文摘The Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope(FAST) was completed with its main structure installed on September 25, 2016, after which it entered the commissioning phase. This paper aims to introduce the commissioning progress of the FAST over the past two years. To improve its operational reliability and ensure effective observation time, FAST has been equipped with a real-time information system for the active reflector system and hierarchical commissioning scheme for the feed support system, which ultimately achieves safe operation of the two systems. For meeting the high-performance indices, a highprecision measurement system was set up based on the effective control methods that were implemented for the active reflector system and feed support system. Since the commissioning of the FAST, a low-frequency ultra-wideband receiver and 19-beam1.05-1.45 GHz receiver have been mainly used. Telescope efficiency, pointing accuracy, and system noise temperature were completely tested and ultimately achieved the acceptance indices of the telescope. The FAST has been in the process of national acceptance preparations and has begun to search for pulsars. 3The Phototropism of Jurassic Petrified Wood in North China Plate显示文摘Trees on the side directly exposed to sunlight generally grow faster than on the opposite side,a phenomenon termed plant phototropism.There are in situ vertical trunks of silicified wood in the Xiadelongwan area of Yanqing County,north Beijing,where the first National Geologic Park of Petrified Wood of China has been built since 2002.A few trunks have well-preserved growth rings.One petrified stump from the formation shows a positive phototropism direction of SW23O0.As compared with the modern normal growth stumps in Beijing plain area,which have a positive phototropism direction of SW210 °± 5°,the evidence of wood phototropism supports the conclusion of previous palaeomagnetic studies that the North China Plate has rotated clockwise since the Late Jurassic.The known petrified wood stumps in the Yanshan-Liaoning area are mainly found from the strata of 165-136 Ma,which corresponds to the main stage of the Yanshanian Movement.JIANG Zikun LIU Benper HUANG Min DENG Shenghui LU Yuanzheng LIU Lu LI Mingming DONG Shuxin WANG Yongdong 2014Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2014,88,5:1

7Reconfigurable implementation ARP based on depth threshold in 3D-HEVC显示文摘Aiming at the high computational complexity and low efficiency of the advanced residual prediction(ARP)algorithm in 3 dimension high-efficiency video coding(3D-HEVC),the relationship between the depth value and ARP is analyzed.A fast ARP algorithm based on the depth value is proposed,which is implemented on the reconfigurable array processor developed by the project team.It uses a reconfigurable method to realize flexible switching between interview-ARP and tem-poral ARP.Experimental results show that while keeping the coding rate and the peak signal-to-noise ratio(PSNR)basically unchanged,the coding time of the six test sequences is reduced by 16.21%on average compared with HTM16.1.In contrast with non-reconfiguration,the average coding time is reduced by 52%,so the computational efficiency is improved.朱筠 Zhou Jinna Xie Xiaoyan Jiang Lin Wang Shuxin Shen Xubang 2021High Technology Letters2021,27,4:0

10Enhanced Beta2-band Oscillations Denote Auditory Hallucination in Schizophrenia Patients and a Monkey Model of Psychosis显示文摘An electroencephalographic(EEG)signature of auditory hallucinations(AHs)is important for facilitating the diagnosis and treatment of AHs in schizophrenia.We recorded EEG from 25 schizophrenia patients with recurrent AHs.During the period of AHs,EEG recordings exhibited significantly elevated beta2-band power in the temporal region,as compared to those recorded in the absence of AHs or during stimulation with verbal sounds.We further generated methamphetamine-treated rhesus monkeys exhibiting psychosis-like behaviors,including repetitive sudden searching actions in the absence of external intrusion,suggesting the occurrence of AHs.Epidural EEG beta2-band power in the temporal region of these monkeys was enhanced immediately after methamphetamine treatment and positively correlated with the frequency of sudden searching actions.Thus,the enhancement of temporal beta2-band oscillations represents a signature for AHs in both patients and a monkey model of psychosis,and this monkey model can be used for developing closed-loop neuromodulation approaches for the treatment of refractory AHs in schizophrenia.Shuo Ma Tianzhen Chen Wenjun Jia Jie Liu Shihan Ding Puzhe Li Hong Gan Dapeng Zhang Shuxin Shao Mu-Ming Poo Min Zhao Bomin Sun Jian Jiang 2024Neuroscience Bulletin2024,40,3:0
