| 2 | A Method for Crude Oil Selection and Blending Optimization Based on Improved Cuckoo Search Algorithm显示文摘Refineries often need to find similar crude oil to replace the scarce crude oil for stabilizing the feedstock property. We introduced the method for calculation of crude blended properties firstly, and then created a crude oil selection and blending optimization model based on the data of crude oil property. The model is a mixed-integer nonlinear programming(MINLP) with constraints, and the target is to maximize the similarity between the blended crude oil and the objective crude oil. Furthermore, the model takes into account the selection of crude oils and their blending ratios simultaneously, and transforms the problem of looking for similar crude oil into the crude oil selection and blending optimization problem. We applied the Improved Cuckoo Search(ICS) algorithm to solving the model. Through the simulations, ICS was compared with the genetic algorithm, the particle swarm optimization algorithm and the CPLEX solver. The results show that ICS has very good optimization efficiency. The blending solution can provide a reference for refineries to find the similar crude oil. | 6 | Wenchuan Ms8.0 earthquake coseismic slip distribution inversion显示文摘By using GPS and gravity data before and after the Wenchuan Ms8.0 earthquake and combining data from geological surveys and geophysical inversion studies, an initial coseismic fault model is constructed. The dip angle changes of the fault slip distribution on the fault plane are inversed, and the inversion results show that the shape of the fault resembles a double-shovel. The Yingxiue Beichuan Fault is approximately 330 km long, the surface fault dip angle is 65.1, which gradually reduces with increasing depth to 0 at the detachment layer at a depth of 19.62 km. The Guanxiane Jiangyou Fault is approximately90 km long, and its dip angle at the surface is 55.3, which gradually reduces with increasing depth; the fault joins the Yingxiue Beichuan Fault at 13.75 km. Coseismic slip mainly occurs above a depth of 19 km. There are five concentrated rupture areas, Yingxiu,Wenchuan, Hanwang, Beichuan, and Pingwu, which are consistent with geological survey results and analyses of the aftershock distribution. The rupture mainly has a thrust component with a small dextral strikeeslip component. The maximum slip was more than10 m, which occurred near Beichuan and Hanwang. | 9 | Effects of brachial plexus injury anastomosis simulation on biomechanical properties of adult brachial plexus显示文摘BACKGROUND:Previous studies of peripheral nerve mechanical properties in animals have utilized one-dimensional drawing methods. OBJECTIVE:To analyze the effects of brachial plexus injury anastomosis simulation on biomechanical properties of adult brachial plexus by observing tensile mechanical properties,stress relaxation,and creep deformation of the brachial plexus in normal human cadavers and brachial plexus from simulated brachial plexus injury anastomosis samples. DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING:The in vitro experiment was performed at the Mechanics Experimental Center,Jilin University,China from April to May 2007. MATERIALS:A total of six adult,male cadavers,who had died from acute trauma,and were aged 20-29 years,were supplied by the Research Room of Anatomy,Medical Department,Jilin University,China. AG-10TA Universal Material Testing Machine (Shimadzu,Japan) was used in this study. METHODS:A total of 36 samples of fresh brachial plexus were collected from the cadavers,comprising 12 C5 nerve roots,12 C6 nerve roots at the left and right sides of the superior truck,and 12 C7 nerve roots at the middle truck. The C5 and C6 nerve roots were processed into 50 samples and the C7 nerve roots into 24 samples. A total of 36 C5 and C6 nerve root samples were randomly assigned to a non-surgery control group (n = 18) and brachial plexus injury anastomosis simulation group (n = 18). Brachial plexus injury simulation anastomosis samples underwent an incision in the middle,and then received anastomosis. Samples in both groups underwent a tension test at 5 mm/min on the AG-10TA universal material testing machine. A total of 24 sam-ples from the C6 superior trunk and C7 middle trunk of the brachial plexus were subjected to stress relaxation and creep tests. Test duration was 7 200 seconds. A total of 100 data points were collected and analyzed using a normalization method. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:The following parameters were measured:tension maximum displacement,maximum load,maximum stress,maximum strain and stress-strain curve,stress relaxation at 7 200 seconds,creep deformation at 7 200 seconds,stress relaxation,and creep curve in the non-surgery control group and brachial plexus injury simulation anastomosis group. RESULTS:The tension maximum load of brachial plexus was (140.36 ± 30.50) N,maximum stress was (10.67 ± 2.52) MPa,maximum displacement was (7.78 ± 1.48) mm,and maximum strain was (31.64 ± 5.32)% in the non-surgery control group. The tension maximum load of brachial plexus was (93.23 ± 20.65) N,maximum stress was (7.09 ± 1.57) MPa,maximum displacement was (6.13 ± 0.86) mm,and maximum strain was (24.55 ± 3.45)% in the brachial plexus injury simulation anastomosis group. The above-mentioned indices were greater in the non-surgery control group than in the brachial plexus injury simulation anastomosis group (P < 0.01). Stress relaxation at 7 200 seconds was 2.07 MPa and 2.11 MPa,respectively,in the non-surgery control and brachial plexus injury simulation anastomosis groups. Creep deformation at 7 200 seconds was 4.68% and 3.52%,respectively,in the non-surgery control and brachial plexus injury simulation anastomosis groups. | 12 | Isostatic anomaly characteristics and tectonism of the New Britain Trench and neighboring Papua New Guinea显示文摘In this paper, we calculated Bouguer gravity anomalies and Airy-Heiskanen isostatic anomalies in the New Britain Trench and surrounding areas of Papua New Guinea. The calculations are based on a topographic model and a gravity anomaly model from the Scripps Institute of Oceanography. Characteristics of the isostatic anomaly and the earthquake dynamic environment of this region are analyzed,and the results show that there are obvious differences in the isostatic state between each block in the region. Tectonic movements are very intense in regions with high positive or negative isostatic gravity anomalies, and a number of sub-plates in this area are driven by external tectonic action, such as plate subduction and thrusting, of the Pacific, Indo-Australian and Eurasian plates. From the distribution of the isostatic gravity anomaly, the tectonic action of anti-isostatic movement obviously is the main source of power. Based on isostatic gravity and spatial distribution of earthquakes in the region, it is obvious that further contraction of the Indo-Australian Plate will result in the southwestern part of the Solomon Plate becoming part of the Owen Stanley thrust belt, and the northern part will enter the lower part of the Bismarck Plate. | 15 | Influence of crustal layering and thickness on co-seismic effects of Wenchuan earthquake显示文摘Using the PSGRN/PSCMP software and the fault model offered by USGS and on the basis of finite rectangular dislocation theory and the local layered wave velocity structures of the crust-upper-mantle, the influences of crustal layering and thickness on co-seismic gravity changes and deformation of Wenchuan earthquake have been simulated. The results indicate that: the influences have a relationship with the attitude of faults and the relative position between calculated points and fault. The difference distribution form of simulated results between the two models is similar to that of co-seismic effect. For the per centum distribution, it's restricted by the zero line of the co-seismic effects obviously. Its positive is far away from the zero line. For the crustal thickness, the effect is about 10%-20%. The negative and the effect over 30% focus around the zero line. The average influences of crustal layering and thickness for the E-W displacement, N-S displacement, vertical displacement and gravity changes are 18.4%,18.0%,15.8% and 16.2% respectively,When the crustal thickness is 40 km, they are 4.6%,5.3%,3.8% and 3.8%.
