| 3 | Enhancing upconversion of Nd3+ through Yb^(3+)-mediated energy cycling towards temperature sensing显示文摘Photon upconversion of lanthanides has been a powerful means to convert low-energy photons into high-energy ones.However,in contrast to the mostly investigated lanthanide ions,it has remained a challenge for the efficient upconversion of Nd^(3+)due to the deleterious concentration quenching effect.Here we report an efficient strategy to enhance the upconversion of Nd^(3+)through the Yb^(3+)-mediated energy cycling in a core-shell-shell nanostructure.Both Nd^(3+)and Yb^(3+)are confined in the interlayer,and the presence of Yb^(3+)in the Nd-sublattice provides a more matched energy for the upconversion transitions occurring at the intermediate state of Nd^(3+)towards much better population at its emissive levels.Moreover,this design also minimizes the possible cross-relaxation processes at both intermediate level and the emissive levels of Nd^(3+)which are the primary factors limiting the upconversion performance for the Nd^(3+)-doped materials.Such energy cycling-enhanced upconversion shows promise in temperature sensing. | Nan Song Songbin Liu Peng Zhang Junshan He Qinyuan Zhang Feng Wang Bo Zhou | 2021 | Journal of Rare Earths2021,39,12: | 3 |

| 11 | Enabling efficient NIR-II luminescence in lithium-sublattice core–shell nanocrystals towards Stark sublevel based nanothermometry显示文摘The luminescence in the second near-infrared(NIR-II)spectral region(1,000–1,700 nm)has recently attracted great attention for emerging biological applications owing to its merit of deep tissue bioimaging and high spatiotemporal resolution.However,it still remains a challenge to achieve the highly efficient NIR-II emissions of lanthanides in nanomaterials.Herein,we report an ideal design of sensitizing lithium sublattice core–shell nanocrystals for efficient NIR-II emission properties from a set of lanthanide emitters including Er3+,Tm3+,Ho3+,Pr3+,and Nd3+.In particular,the typical NIR-II emission of Er3+at 1.5μm was greatly enhanced by further manipulating the energy transfer via Er3+–Ce3+cross-relaxation,and the quantum yield can reach up to 35.74%under 980 nm excitation(12.5 W·cm−2),which is the highest value to the best of our knowledge.The 808 nm responsive efficient NIR-II emission was also enabled at the single-particle level through rational core–shell–shell structure design.Moreover,the lithium-sublattice provides an obvious spectral Stark-splitting feature,which can be used in the ultrasensitive NIR-II nanothermometer with relative sensitivity of 0.248%K−1 and excellent thermal cycling stability.These results open a door to the research of new kinds of efficient NIR-II luminescent materials,showing great promise in various frontier fields such as deep tissue nanothermometry and in vivo bioimaging. | Songbin Liu Zhengce An Jinshu Huang Bo Zhou | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,1: | 0 |
| 12 | Optimized Deep Learning Model for Fire Semantic Segmentation显示文摘Recent convolutional neural networks(CNNs)based deep learning has significantly promoted fire detection.Existing fire detection methods can efficiently recognize and locate the fire.However,the accurate flame boundary and shape information is hard to obtain by them,which makes it difficult to conduct automated fire region analysis,prediction,and early warning.To this end,we propose a fire semantic segmentation method based on Global Position Guidance(GPG)and Multi-path explicit Edge information Interaction(MEI).Specifically,to solve the problem of local segmentation errors in low-level feature space,a top-down global position guidance module is used to restrain the offset of low-level features.Besides,an MEI module is proposed to explicitly extract and utilize the edge information to refine the coarse fire segmentation results.We compare the proposed method with existing advanced semantic segmentation and salient object detection methods.Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method achieves 94.1%,93.6%,94.6%,95.3%,and 95.9%Intersection over Union(IoU)on five test sets respectively which outperforms the suboptimal method by a large margin.In addition,in terms of accuracy,our approach also achieves the best score. | Songbin Li Peng Liu Qiandong Yan Ruiling Qian | 2022 | Computers, Materials & Continua2022,,9: | 0 |
| 13 | General Steganalysis Method of Compressed Speech Under Different Standards显示文摘Analysis-by-synthesis linear predictive coding(AbS-LPC)is widely used in a variety of low-bit-rate speech codecs.Most of the current steganalysis methods for AbS-LPC low-bit-rate compressed speech steganography are specifically designed for a specific coding standard or category of steganography methods,and thus lack generalization capability.In this paper,a general steganalysis method for detecting steganographies in low-bit-rate compressed speech under different standards is proposed.First,the code-element matrices corresponding to different coding standards are concatenated to obtain a synthetic code-element matrix,which will be mapped into an intermediate feature representation by utilizing the pre-trained dictionaries.Then,bidirectional long short-term memory is employed to capture long-term contextual correlations.Finally,a code-element affinity attention mechanism is used to capture the global inter-frame context,and a full connection structure is used to generate the prediction result.Experimental results show that the proposed method is effective and better than the comparison methods for detecting steganographies in cross-standard low-bit-rate compressed speech. | Peng Liu Songbin Li Qiandong Yan Jingang Wang Cheng Zhang | 2021 | Computers, Materials & Continua2021,,8: | 0 |
