1Balanced Multi-Label Propagation for Overlapping Community Detection in Social Networks显示文摘In this paper,we propose a balanced multi-label propagation algorithm(BMLPA) for overlapping community detection in social networks.As well as its fast speed,another important advantage of our method is good stability,which other multi-label propagation algorithms,such as COPRA,lack.In BMLPA,we propose a new update strategy,which requires that community identifiers of one vertex should have balanced belonging coefficients.The advantage of this strategy is that it allows vertices to belong to any number of communities without a global limit on the largest number of community memberships,which is needed for COPRA.Also,we propose a fast method to generate 'rough cores',which can be used to initialize labels for multi-label propagation algorithms,and are able to improve the quality and stability of results.Experimental results on synthetic and real social networks show that BMLPA is very efficient and effective for uncovering overlapping communities.武志昊 林友芳 Steve Gregory 万怀宇 田盛丰 2012Journal of Computer Science & Technology2012,27,3:39
2Determinants of the impact of blood pressure variability on neurological outcome after acute ischaemic stroke显示文摘Introduction: Increased blood pressure variability (BPV) is detrimental after acute ischaemic stroke, but the interaction between BPV and neuroimaging factors that directly influence stroke outcome has not been explored. Methods: We retrospectively reviewed inpatients from 2007 to 2014 with acute anterior circulation ischaemic stroke, CT perfusion and angiography at hospital admission, and a modified Rankin Scale (MRS) 30- 365 days after stroke onset. BPV indices included SD, coefficient of variation and successive variation of the systolic blood pressure between 0 and 120 hours after admission. Ordinal logistic regression models were fitted to MRS with predictor variables of BPV indices. Models were further stratified by CT perfusion volumetric measurements, proximal vessel occlusion and collateral score. Results: 110 patients met the inclusion criteria. The likelihood of a 1-point rise in the MRS increased with every 10 mm Hg increase in BPV (OR for the 3 BPV indices ranged from 2.27 to 5.54), which was more pronounced in patients with larger ischaemic core volumes (OR 8.37 to 18.0) and larger hypoperfused volumes (OR 6.02 to 15.4). This association also held true for patients with larger mismatch volume, proximal vessel occlusion and good collateral vessels. Conclusions: These results indicate that increased BPV is associated with worse neurological outcome after stroke, particularly in patients with a large lesion core volume, concurrent viable ischaemic penumbra, proximal vessel occlusion and good collaterals. 3Pilot study of atomoxetine in patients with Parkinson’s disease and dopa-unresponsive Freezing of Gait显示文摘Background:Freezing of gait(FoG)is a common and debilitating condition in Parkinson’s disease(PD)associated with executive dysfunction.A subtype of FoG does not respond to dopaminergic therapy and may be related to noradrenergic deficiency.This pilot study explores the effects of atomoxetine on gait in PD patients with dopaunresponsive FoG using a novel paradigm for objective gait assessment.Findings:Ten patients with PD and dopa-unresponsive FoG were enrolled in this eight-week open label pilot study.Assessments included an exploratory gait analysis protocol that quantified spatiotemporal parameters during straight-away walking and turning,while performing a dual task.Clinical,and subjective assessments of gait,quality of life,and safety were also administered.The primary outcome was a validated subjective assessment for FoG(FOG-Q).Atomoxetine was well tolerated,however,no significant change was observed in the primary outcome.The gait analysis protocol correlated well with clinical scales,but not with subjective assessments.DBS patients were more likely to increase gait velocity(p=0.033),and improved in other clinical assessments.Conclusions:Objective gait analysis protocols assessing gait while dual tasking are feasible and useful for this patient population,and may be superior correlates of FoG severity than subjective measures.These findings can inform future trials in this population.Gonzalo J.Revuelta Aaron Embry Jordan J.Elm Chris Gregory Amy Delambo Steve Kautz Vanessa K.Hinson 2015Translational Neurodegeneration2015,4,1:3
