2Joint effects of Penta-BDE and heavy metals on Daphnia magna survival,its antioxidant enzyme activities and lipid peroxidation显示文摘The joint toxicity of Penta-BDE(Pe-BDE)and heavy metals including cadmium and copper on Daphnia magna(D.magna)was evaluated on the basis of determining the 48 h survival,antioxidative enzyme responses,and lipid peroxidation.The response was classified as additive,greater than additive,or less than additive by comparing the measured“toxic units,TU”with one.Based on the survival of D.magna,less-than-additive interactions were found in most of mixtures treatments.This may be attributed to the different toxicity mechanism between Pe-BDE and metals.Cu and Cd played a greater role in toxicity than what Pe-BDE did.As for the superoxide dismutase(SOD)and catalase(CAT)activity,most response was less than additive.For the glutathione S-transferases(GST)activity,most of the greater-thanadditive responses were found in the Cu plus Pe-BDE treatments,but the additive responses occurred in Cd plus Pe-BDE treatments and binary metal treatments.For lipid peroxide levels,which were measured as malondialdehyde(MDA)levels,less-than-additive response occurred in the 50%Cd plus 50%Cu and ternary mixture treatments.Results suggested that Pe-BDE,Cd,and Cu could induce different patterns of antioxidant enzyme responses,such as antioxidant/prooxidant responses,depending on their capability to produce reactive oxygen species and antioxidant enzymes to detoxify them.Baohua TANG Lingyan ZHU Qixing ZHOU 2011Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2011,5,1:5
3Phosphoester modified poly(ethylenimine) as efficient and low cytotoxic genevectors显示文摘Cyclic phosphoester monomer ethyl ethylene phosphate (EEP) modified poly(ethylenimine) (PEI),denoted as PEI-EEP,was developed for gene delivery.Three PEI-EEP polymers were synthesized and their structures were characterized by 1H and 31P NMR methods.All the PEI-EEP polymers could condense DNA efficiently at N/P ratios higher than 0.5/1.The physiochemical characteristics of PEI-EEP/DNA complexes were analyzed by particle size and zeta potential measurements.The particle sizes of complexes were around 160–250 nm,and their zeta potentials were around 30–45 mV at the N/P ratios ranging from 10/1 to 50/1.In vitro cell viability and transfection ability were evaluated in HEK293 and HeLa cells using PEI as the control.The cytotoxicity of PEI-EEP and PEI-EEP/DNA complexes was lower than that of PEI and its complexes with DNA.The transfection efficiency of PEI-EEP/DNA complexes was correlated to modification degrees with phosphoester.When the modification of phosphoester to PEI was moderate,the PEI-EEP1/DNA and PEI-EEP2/DNA complexes exhibited comparable or even higher transfection ability than PEI/DNA complex at its optimal N/P ratio in the absence of serum.However,transfection efficiency of PEI-EEP3 reduced dramatically.More importantly,the PEI-EEP exhibited higher transfection efficiency in the presence of 10% serum than that without serum.Therefore,PEI-EEP polymers may be attractive vectors for non-viral gene therapy.DU JinZhi TANG LingYan YUAN YouYong WANG Jun 2011Science China Chemistry2011,54,2:3
4High-order maximum-principle-preserving and positivity-preserving weighted compact nonlinear schemes for hyperbolic conservation laws显示文摘In this paper,the maximum-principle-preserving(MPP)and positivitypreserving(PP)flux limiting technique will be generalized to a class of high-order weighted compact nonlinear schemes(WCNSs)for scalar conservation laws and the compressible Euler systems in both one and two dimensions.The main idea of the present method is to rewrite the scheme in a conservative form,and then define the local limiting parameters via case-by-case discussion.Smooth test problems are presented to demonstrate that the proposed MPP/PP WCNSs incorporating a third-order Runge-Kutta method can attain the desired order of accuracy.Other test problems with strong shocks and high pressure and density ratios are also conducted to testify the performance of the schemes.Lingyan TANG Songhe SONG Hong ZHANG 2020Applied Mathematics and Mechanics(English Edition)2020,41,1:3
5Syntenic quantitative trait loci and genomic divergence for Sclerotinia resistance and ?owering time in Brassica napus显示文摘Oilseed rape(Brassica napus) is an allotetraploid with two subgenomes descended from a common ancestor. Accordingly, its genome contains syntenic regions with many duplicate genes, some of which may have retained their original functions, whereas others may have diverged. Here, we mapped quantitative trait loci(QTL) for stem rot resistance(SRR), a disease caused by the fungus Sclerotinia sclerotiorum, and flowering time(FT) in a recombinant inbred line population. The population was genotyped using B.napus 60 K single nucleotide polymorphism arrays and phenotyped in six(FT) and nine(SSR) experimental conditions or environments. In total, we detected 30 SRR QTL and 22 FT QTL and show that some of the major QTL associated with these two traits were co-localized,suggesting a genetic linkage between them. Two SRR QTL on chromosome A2 and two on chromosome C2 were shown to be syntenic, suggesting the functional conservation of these regions. We used the syntenic properties of the genomic regions to exclude genes for selection candidates responsible for QTL-associated traits. For example, 152 of the 185 genes could be excluded from a syntenic A2–C2 region. 6Highly sensitive potentiometric immunosensor for hepatitis B surface antigen diagnosis显示文摘A highly sensitive potentiometric immunosensor for the diagnoses of epidemic dis- eases has been developed by means of self-assembly to immobilize hepatitis B surface antibody (HBsAb) for the detection of hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) as a model. At first, the Nafion containing ?SO3 groups was immobilized on a platinum electrode surface to absorb the ?NH3 ? + groups of antibody molecules via the opposite-charged adsorption technique, in the meantime, hepatitis B surface antibodies were adsorbed onto the surface of Au nanoparticles, then hepatitis B surface antibodies and Au nanopartilces were entrapped into polyvinyl butyral on the surface of Nafion film. The modified procedure was further characterized by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and cyclic voltammetry (CV). The influence and factors influencing the per- formance of resulting immunosensor were studied in detail. The resulting immunosensor exhib- ited sigmoid curve with log HBsAg concentrations, high sensitivity, wide linear range from 26 to 1280 ng·mL?1 with a detection limit of 3.1 ng·mL?1, rapid potentiometric response (<3 min) and long-term stability (>4 months). 10Fabrication of the beam splitters for soft X-ray laser application显示文摘The soft X-ray interferometry is completed by the Mach-Zehnder interferometer using a soft X-ray laser, and it is also an important method to measure the electron densities of a laser-produced plasma near the critical surface. It is apparently demonstrated in this paper that the incident angle of each optical element in the soft X-ray Mach- Zehnder interferometer should be near normal incidence based on the polarized characteristics of the soft X-ray mul-tilayers, and the product of reflectivity and transmission of the beam splitter should be taken as a standard of design according to the structure of the soft X-ray Mach-Zehnder interferometer. The beam splitters used in the soft X-ray interferometry at 13.9 nm are fabricated using the ion beam sputtering. 12Progress in quantitative research on the relationship between atmospheric oxidation and air quality显示文摘Atmospheric oxidizing capacity(AOC)is an essential driving force of troposphere chemistry and self-cleaning,but the definition of AOC and its quantitative representation remain uncertain.Driven by national demand for air pollution control in recent years,Chinese scholars have carried out studies on theories of atmospheric chemistry and have made considerable progress in AOC research.This paper will give a brief review of these developments.First,AOC indexes were established that represent apparent atmospheric oxidizing ability(AOIe)and potential atmospheric oxidizing ability(AOIp)based on aspects of macrothermodynamics and microdynamics,respectively.A closed study refined the quantitative contributions of heterogeneous chemistry to AOC in Beijing,and these AOC methods were further applied in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and key areas across the country.In addition,the detection of ground or vertical profiles for atmospheric OH·,HO_(2)·,NO_(3)·radicals and reservoir molecules can now be obtained with domestic instruments in diverse environments.Moreover,laboratory smoke chamber simulations revealed heterogeneous processes involving reactions of O_(3)and NO_(2),which are typical oxidants in the surface/interface atmosphere,and the evolutionary and budgetary implications of atmospheric oxidants reacting under multispecies,multiphase and multi-interface conditions were obtained.Finally,based on the GRAPES-CUACE adjoint model improved by Chinese scholars,simulations of key substances affecting atmospheric oxidation and secondary organic and inorganic aerosol formation have been optimized.Normalized numerical simulations of AOIe and AOIp were performed,and regional coordination of AOC was adjusted.An optimized plan for controlling O_(3)and PM2.5was analyzed by scenario simulation.Yuesi Wang Xin Jin Zirui Liu Gehui Wang Guiqian Tang Keding Lu Bo Hu Shanshan Wang Guohui Li Xinqin An Chao Wang Qihou Hu Lingyan He Fenfen Zhang Yuanhang Zhang 2023Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,1:1
13A Maximum-Principle-Preserving Third Order Finite Volume SWENO Scheme on Unstructured Triangular Meshes显示文摘We modify the construction of the third order finite volume WENO scheme on triangular meshes and present a simplified WENO(SWENO)scheme.The novelty of the SWENO scheme is the less complexity and lower computational cost when deciding the smoothest stencil through a simple mechanism.The LU decomposition with iterative refinement is adopted to implement ill-conditioned interpolation matrices and improves the stability of the SWENOscheme efficiently.Besides,a scaling technique is used to circument the growth of condition numbers as mesh refined.However,weak oscillations still appear when the SWENO scheme deals with complex low density equations.In order to guarantee the maximum-principle-preserving(MPP)property,we apply a scaling limiter to the reconstruction polynomial without the loss of accuracy.A novel procedure is designed to prove this property theoretically.Finally,numerical examples for one-and two-dimensional problems are presented to verify the good performance,maximum principle preserving,essentially non-oscillation and high resolution of the proposed scheme.Yunrui Guo Lingyan Tang Hong Zhang Songhe Song 2018Advances in Applied Mathematics and Mechanics2018,10,1:1

15An improved third-order HWCNS for compressible flow simulation on curvilinear grids显示文摘Due to the very high requirements on the quality of computational grids,stability property and computational efficiency,the application of high-order schemes to complex flow simulation is greatly constrained.In order to solve these problems,the third-order hybrid cell-edge and cell-node weighted compact nonlinear scheme(HWCNS3)is improved by introducing a new nonlinear weighting mechanism.The new scheme uses only the central stencil to reconstruct the cell boundary value,which makes the convergence of the scheme more stable.The application of the scheme to Euler equations on curvilinear grids is also discussed.Numerical results show that the new HWCNS3 achieves the expected order in smooth regions,captures discontinuities sharply without obvious oscillation,has higher resolution than the original one and preserves freestream and vortex on curvilinear grids.Mingyang Cheng Lingyan Tang Yu Liu Huajun Zhu 2021Advances in Aerodynamics2021,3,1:0
16Research on mineral processing of low quality kalium-natrium feldspar显示文摘In light of characteristic of low quality feldspar ores in Wanzai County,Jiangxi Province,steel ball was taken as grinding medium,and selective grinding could make impurity separate from feldspar effectively. Through the flow of flotation-desliming-high gradient magnetic separation,the feldspar Concentration 1 was obtained with the yield of 70.19 %,containing Fe2O3 0.17 % and TiO2 0.07 %. The feldspar Concentrate 1 could meet the quality requirement of high-grade construction ceramic. And the slime that was deslimed in the flow was also separated and recovered; the feldspar Concentration 2 was obtained with the yield of 13.18 %,containing Fe2O3 0.31 % and TiO2 0.17 %. The feldspar Concentrate 2 can be used for raw material of low-end ceramic. And gangue,with the yield of 16.63 %,was thrown away in this flow,the separating efficiency was high.
