| 1 | Curative effect of warming kidney and fortifying spleen recipe on diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To observe the curative effect of a recipe for warming the kidney and fortifying the spleen on diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome(IBS-D).METHODS:This multi-center,double-blind,randomized,and controlled trial included 240 patients that met the inclusion criterion and were then divided into two groups of 120.Patients in the treatment group(group A)took modified Sishen Wan orally for warming the kidney and fortifying the spleen and patients in the control group(group B)took a placebo,Chao Maiya,for 4 weeks.28 days after withdrawal,there was a 6-month follow-up to observe patient recurrence condition.The total effective rate,curative effect,and recurrence rate were evaluated after treatment.RESULTS:There was statistical difference(P<0.01)between the two groups in total effective rate(92.24%in the treatment group and 49.07%in the control group),in curative effect of TCM syndrome(90.52%and 47.22%,respectively),and in the recurrence rate(15.79%and 56.86%,respectively)within6 months after treatment.CONCLUSION:Modified Sishen Wan,for warming the kidney and fortifying the spleen,can effectively treat IBS-D and better control its recurrence. | Xiaolan Su Yanping Tang Jing Zhang Yuebin Dong Wei Wei Yibing Bai Yong Liu | 2013 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2013,33,5: | 22 |

| 3 | Transcriptome sequencing analysis for the identification of stable lncRNAs associated with bovine Staphylococcus aureus mastitis显示文摘Background:Staphylococcus aureus(S.aureus)mastitis is one of the most difficult diseases to treat in lactating dairy cows worldwide.S.aureus with different lineages leads to different host immune responses.Long non-coding RNAs(lncRNAs)are reported to be widely involved in the progress of inflammation.However,no research has identified stable lncRNAs among different S.aureus strain infections.In addition,folic acid(FA)can effectively reduce inflammation,and whether the inflammatory response caused by S.aureus can be reduced by FA remains to be explored.Methods:lncRNA transcripts were identified from Holstein mammary gland tissues infected with different concentrations of S.aureus(in vivo)and mammary alveolar cells(Mac-T cells,in vitro)challenged with different S.aureus strains.Differentially expressed(DE)lncRNAs were evaluated,and stable DE lncRNAs were identified in vivo and in vitro.On the basis of the gene sequence conservation and function conservation across species,key lncRNAs with the function of potentially immune regulation were retained for further analysis.The function of FA on inflammation induced by S.aureus challenge was also investigated.Then,the association analysis between these keys lncRNA transcripts and hematological parameters(HPs)was carried out.Lastly,the knockdown and overexpression of the important lncRNA were performed to validate the gene function on the regulation of cell immune response.Results:Linear regression analysis showed a significant correlation between the expression levels of lncRNA shared by mammary tissue and Mac-T cells(P<0.001,R^(2)=0.3517).lncRNAs PRANCR and TNK2-AS1 could be regarded as stable markers associated with bovine S.aureus mastitis.Several HPs could be influenced by SNPs around lncRNAs PRANCR and TNK2-AS1.The results of gene function validation showed PRANCR regulates the mRNA expression of SELPLG and ITGB2 within the S.aureus infection pathway and the Mac-T cells apoptosis.In addition,FA regulated the expression change of DE lncRNA involved in toxin metabolism and inflammation to fight against S.aureus infection.Conclusions:The remarkable association between SNPs around these two lncRNAs and partial HP indicates the potentially important role of PRANCR and TNK2-AS1 in immune regulation.Stable DE lncRNAs PRANCR and TNK2-AS1 can be regarded as potential targets for the prevention of bovine S.aureus mastitis.FA supplementation can reduce the negative effect of S.aureus challenge by regulating the expression of lncRNAs. | Siyuan Mi Yongjie Tang Gerile Dari Yuanjun Shi Jinning Zhang Hailiang Zhang Xueqin Liu Yibing Liu Usman Tahir Ying Yu | 2022 | Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2022,13,2: | 2 |

| 6 | Using DGT to Assess Cadmium Bioavailability to Ryegrass as Influenced by Soil Properties显示文摘A generally accepted method for predicting the bioavailability and transfer of cadmium(Cd) from soil to plants has not yet been established. In this study, the diffusive gradients in thin films(DGT) and conventional extraction methods for metal fractions were used to investigate how effective these methods were at predicting Cd bioavailability to ryegrass(Lolium perenne) and to assess whether these holistic variables were independent of the soil property variables. The influences of soil properties on the predictive capabilities of the different methods were evaluated using multivariate statistics. The Cd concentrations in the shoots and roots of ryegrass correlated more closely with the effective Cd concentration measured by DGT(CE), compared with those with soil total Cd, pore water Cd, and ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid disodium salt(Na2EDTA)- and acetic acid(HOAc)-extractable Cd. When soil properties were included in a stepwise multiple linear regression, Cd transfer to L. perenne was negatively influenced by p H and positively influenced by organic matter(OM). The multivariate statistics showed that the adjusted correlation coefficients for the plots involving soil total Cd, pore water Cd, and Na2EDTA- and HOAc-extractable Cd had been significantly improved after considering the influences of soil properties, which suggested that these methods were p H and OM dependent. For CE, the relationship was p H independent or only dependent in strongly acidic soils. These results suggested that the main soil factors affecting bioavailability had the lowest impact on the DGT technique. | 13 | Weight Analysis of Impact Factors of Interbedded Anti-Inclined Slopes Block-Flexure Toppling Based on Support Vector Regression显示文摘Block-flexure toppling failure is frequently encountered in interbedded anti-inclined rock(IAR)slopes,and seriously threatens the construction of hydropower infrastructure.In this study,we first investigated the Lean Reservoir area’s geological setting and the Linda landslide’s characteristics.Then,uniform design and random design were used to design 110 training datasets and 31 testing datasets,respectively.Afterwards,the toppling response was obtained by using the discrete element code.Finally,support vector regression was used to obtain the influence weights of 21 impact factors.The results show that the influence weight of the slope angle and rock formation dip angle on the toppling deformation among tertiary impact factors is 25.96%and 17.28%,respectively,which are much greater than the other 19 impact factors within the research range.For the primary impact factors,the influence weight is sorted from large to small as slope geometry parameters,joints parameters,and rock mechanics parameters.Joints parameters,especially the geometric parameters,cannot be ignored when evaluating the stability of IAR slopes.Through numerical simulation,it was qualitatively determined that failure surfaces of slopes were controlled by cross joints and that the rocks in the slope toe play a role in preventing slope deformation. | Bocheng Zhang Huiming Tang Yibing Ning Kun Fang Ding Xia | 2024 | Journal of Earth Science2024,35,2: | 0 |
