3A joint call for actions to advance taxonomy in China显示文摘Taxonomy plays an important role in understanding the origin, evolution, and ecological functionality of biodiversity. There are large number of unknown species yet to be described by taxonomists, which together with their ecosystem services cannot be effectively protected prior to description. Despite this, taxonomy has been increasingly underrated insufficient funds and permanent positions to retain young talents. Further, the impact factordriven evaluation systems in China exacerbate this downward trend, so alternative evaluation metrics are urgently necessary. When the current generation of outstanding taxonomists retires,there will be too few remaining taxonomists left to train the next generation. 8PVP-assisted preparation of nitrogen doped mesoporous carbon materials for supercapacitors显示文摘The rich porous structure,high surface area and surface doping make nitrogen doping mesoporous carbon materials(N-MPC)attractive in various areas,including adsorption separation,electrochemical energy storage,catalysis and other fields.Herein,polyvinylpyrrolidone(PVP)is introduced into the polymerization process of assembly of phenol/formaldehyde(PF)resin by means of hydrogen bonds and electrostatic interaction,which not only leads to the formation of uniform mesopores,but also leads to the increase of specific surface area and nitrogen doping.The amount of PVP and annealing temperature has no obvious effect on morphology,but subsequently has effect on the specific surface area and pore volume.When appropriate PVP dosage and annealing temperature are adopted,the obtained N-MPC shows abundant mesoporous,high surface area and suitable nitrogen doping.As electrode materials in supercapacitor,the N-MPC shows good performance with high capacitance good stability and rate performance,presenting its excellent promising in energy storage.Juan Du Aibing Chen Yue Zhang Shuang Zong Haixia Wu Lei Liu 2020Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,58,23:0
9Investigation of distribution uniformity of distributor for biogas slurry application based on CFD analysis显示文摘A horizontal distributor for biogas slurry application was proposed to explore the distribution performance through CFD analysis and verified by field test.The rheological properties of biogas slurry were analyzed at first,and key parameters were obtained for the next simulation.The effects of distribution modes,inlet direction,and outlets number on the velocity distribution of flow field and mass flow rate of the horizonal distributor were investigated by CFD simulations.Results of rheological properties indicated that biogas slurry was a non-Newtonian fluid and exhibited shear-thinning behavior.It can be well described by power-law model.The simulation results showed that the geometry of rotor,especially the block numbers was the main factor that determining the fluid movement and trajectory of distribution and output.The mode rotor 1 with two blocks reached the lowest variable coefficient of mass flow rate(4.49%),indicating a higher degree of uniformity.The upward inlet direction would obtain less dead zone,and the distributor with an even outlets number would possess more uniform distribution and less dead zone.The field test of the distributor with rotor 1,upward inlet direction,and 24 outlets has been carried on to verify the simulation results,the variable coefficient of mass flow was 13.06%,which was slightly higher than the simulation(9.23%),but it still within the range of requirement(<15%).The proposed model and the findings of this work are of guiding significance for the study of the utilization technology and equipment of liquid biogas residue.Jingjing Fu Yongsheng Chen Binxing Xu Biao Ma Pengjun Wang Aibing Wu Mingjiang Chen 2023International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2023,16,1:0
10Effect of packing method on packing formation and the correlation between packing density and interparticle force显示文摘The packing of cohesive particles is of paramount importance in many industries because the packing structure is closely related to process performance.A general relation between packing density and interparticle force was previously proposed based on packing structures formed without dynamic fluid flows.Its universality is examined here in two different packings,formed in settling and defluidization of static and dynamic fluids,respectively.First,it is shown that the packings of the same particles formed by two different methods have different structures because of different impact-induced pressures.Nevertheless,a one-to-one relationship between packing density and structural properties still holds regardless of the different packing methods,and the force distribution in those packings obeys similar rules.Finally,the packing densities obtained by the different methods are demonstrated to be universally correlated with the ratio of the interparticle force to the effective gravity.These findings indicate that different phenomena of particulate systems at a macro-or meso-scale may share similar microscopic origins,with the interparticle force playing a crucial role.Yongli Wu Qinfu Hou Kejun Dong Aibing Yu 2020Particuology2020,18,1:0
