1A joint call for actions to advance taxonomy in China显示文摘Taxonomy plays an important role in understanding the origin, evolution, and ecological functionality of biodiversity. There are large number of unknown species yet to be described by taxonomists, which together with their ecosystem services cannot be effectively protected prior to description. Despite this, taxonomy has been increasingly underrated insufficient funds and permanent positions to retain young talents. Further, the impact factordriven evaluation systems in China exacerbate this downward trend, so alternative evaluation metrics are urgently necessary. When the current generation of outstanding taxonomists retires,there will be too few remaining taxonomists left to train the next generation. 2Improved stability of blue TADF organic electroluminescent diodes via OXD-7 based mixed host显示文摘Thermally activated delayed fluorescence(TADF)organic light-emitting diodes(OLEDs)have been demonstrated in applications such as displays and solid-state lightings.However,weak stability and ineffi-cient emission of blue TADF OLEDs are two key bottlenecks limiting the development of solution processable displays and white light sources.This work presents a solution-processed OLED using a blue-emitting TADF small molecule bis[4-(9,9-dimethyl-9,10-dihydroacridine)phenyl]sulfone(DMAC-DPS)as an emitter.We comparatively investigated the effects of single host poly(Nvinylcarbazole)(PVK)and a co-host of 60%PVK and 30%2,2′-(1,3-phenylene)-bis[5-(4-tert-butylphenyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole](OXD-7)on the device performance(the last 10%is emitter DMAC-DPS).The co-host device shows lower turn-on voltage,similar maximum luminance,and much slower external quantum efficiency(EQE)rolloff.In other words,device stability improved by doping OXD-7 into PVK,and the device impedance simultaneously and significantly reduced from 8.6103 to 4.2103 W at 1000 Hz.Finally,the electroluminescent stability of the co-host device was significantly enhanced by adjusting the annealing temperature.Weiguang LI Jie TANG Yanqiong ZHENG Junbiao PENG Jianhua ZHANG Bin WEI Xifeng LI 2021Frontiers of Optoelectronics2021,14,4:1

5Submonolayer biolasers for ultrasensitive biomarker detection显示文摘Biomarker detection is key to identifying health risks.However,designing sensitive and single-use biosensors for early diagnosis remains a major challenge.Here,we report submonolayer lasers on optical fibers as ultrasensitive and disposable biosensors.Telecom optical fibers serve as distributed optical microcavities with high Q-factor,great repeatability,and ultralow cost,which enables whispering-gallery laser emission to detect biomarkers.It is found that the sensing performance strongly depends on the number of gain molecules.The submonolayer lasers obtained a six-order-of-magnitude improvement in the lower limit of detection(LOD)when compared to saturated monolayer lasers.We further achieve an ultrasensitive immunoassay for a Parkinson's disease biomarker,alpha-synuclein(α-syn),with a lower LOD of 0.32 pM in serum,which is three orders of magnitude lower than theα-syn concentration in the serum of Parkinson's disease patients.Our demonstration of submonolayer biolaser offers great potentials in high-throughput clinical diagnosis with ultimate sensitivity.Chaoyang Gong Xi Yang Shui-Jing Tang Qian-Qian Zhang Yanqiong Wang Yi-Ling Liu Yu-Cheng Chen Gang-Ding Peng Xudong Fan Yun-Feng Xiao Yun-Jiang Rao Yuan Gong 2023Light(Science & Applications)2023,12,12:0

7Conjugated polymerized bimetallic phthalocyanine based electrocatalyst with Fe-N_(4)/Co-N_(4) dual-sites synergistic effect for zinc-air battery显示文摘The bifunctional oxygen catalyst is essential for zinc-air batteries(ZABs).Here,an efficient bifunctional oxygen catalyst,PPcFeCo/3D-G,is obtained throughπ-πinteraction between the conjugated polymerized iron-cobalt phthalocyanine(PPcFeCo)with excellent thermal stability and three-dimensional graphene(3D-G).The bimetallic synergistic effect of PPcFeCo,verified by DFT(Density functional theory)calculation,andπ-πinteractions enhances the catalytic activity and durability of the PPcFeCo/3D-G.Regarding electrochemical performance,the PPcFeCo/3D-G with a high electron transfer number(3.98,@0.768 V vs.RHE)has excellent half-wave potential(E_(1/2)=0.890 V vs.RHE)and exhibits outstanding reversibility(ΔE=0.700 V,ΔE=Ej=10-E_(1/2)).The liquid ZAB(LZAB)employed PPcFeCo/3D-G displays a high power density(222 m W cm^(-2)),a specific capacity(792 m A h g-1),and excellent durability(120 h).This work has guiding significance for the preparation of high-efficiency bifunctional catalysts.Shuaifeng Wang Zhongfang Li Wenjie Duan Peng Sun Jigang Wang Qiang Liu Lei Zhang Yanqiong Zhuang 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,11:0
8Nash equilibrium seeking over directed graphs显示文摘In this paper,we aim to develop distributed continuous-time algorithms over directed graphs to seek the Nash equilibrium in a noncooperative game.Motivated by the recent consensus-based designs,we present a distributed algorithm with a proportional gain for weight-balanced directed graphs.By further embedding a distributed estimator of the left eigenvector associated with zero eigenvalue of the graph Laplacian,we extend it to the case with arbitrary strongly connected directed graphs having possible unbalanced weights.In both cases,the Nash equilibrium is proven to be exactly reached with an exponential convergence rate.An example is given to illustrate the validity of the theoretical results.Yutao Tang Peng Yi Yanqiong Zhang Dawei Liu 2022Autonomous Intelligent Systems2022,2,1:0
9Performance improvement of DBP-based solar cells by introducing a luminescent sensitizer bis[(4,6-difluorophenyl)-pyridinato-N,C^(2')]c(picolinate)iridium(III)(Flrpic)显示文摘In this work,a sky-blue luminescent down-shifting(LDS)layer bis[(4,6-difluorophenyl)-pyridinato-N,C^(2')]c(picolinate)iridium(II)(FIrpic)was inserted between tetraphenyl dibenzoperiflanthene(DBP)and Mo0_(3)as UV-screen and sensitizer for smallmolecule DBP/C_(60)based planar heterojunction(PHJ)solar cells.With 8-nm Flrpic theshort circuit current(J_(sc))and power conversion efficiency(PCE)of the device areenhanced by 28%and 15%,respectively,probably originating from the re-absorption ofthe photons emitted from Flrpic.The V_(oc)linearly increases over 1-nm Flrpic,ascribed tothe deeper HOMO level of Flrpic than DBP,while the fill factor continuously declines from 3-to 10-nm Flrpic.The EQE spectra prove that the J_(sc)is mainly contributed by thephotocurrent generated in DBP and C_(60)layers.When the FIrpic thickness is 8 nm,the filmsurface is very uniform with the smallest water contact angle.The impedance spectro-scopy demonstrates that the device resistance gradually increases from 4.1×10^(4)Ω(without Flrpic)to 4.6×10^(4)Ω(with 10-nm Flrpic)with the FIrpic thickness rise,simultaneously the device transits from the insulating state into the conductive statefaster for the thin Flrpic layer than the thick layer.Jie TANG Weiguang LI Juncong CHEN Yanqiong ZHENG Junbiao PENG Jianhua ZHANG Bin WEI Xifeng LI 2021Frontiers of Materials Science2021,15,1:0
