1Study on non-metallic inclusions in Al killed high strength alloy steel refined by high basicity and high Al_2O_3 content slag显示文摘Laboratory and industrial studies were carried out to investigate non-metallic inclusions in high strength alloy steel refined by high basicity and high Al2O3 slag.It was found that the steel/slag reaction time largely affected non-metallic inclusions.With the reaction time increased from 30 min to 90 min in laboratory study,MgO-Al2O3 spinels were gradually changed into CaO-MgO-Al2O3 system inclusions surrounded by softer CaO-Al2O3 surface layers.By using high basicity slag which contained as much as 41%Al2O3 in the laboratory study,ratio of low melting temperature CaO-MgO-Al2O3 system inclusions was remarkably increased to above 80%.In the industrial experiment,during the secondary refining,the inclusions changed in order of 'Al2O3→MgO-Al2O3→CaO-MgO-Al2O3'.Through the LF and RH refining,most inclusions could be transferred to lower melting temperature CaO-Al2O3 and CaO-MgO-Al2O3 system inclusions.WANG Xinhua,JIANG Min and WANG Wanjun School of Metallurgical and Ecological Engineering,University of Science and Technology Beijing,Beijing 100083,China 2010Baosteel Technical Research2010,4,S1:10
2An all-round AI-Chemist with a scientific mind显示文摘The realization of automated chemical experiments by robots unveiled the prelude to an artificial intelligence(AI)laboratory.Several AI-based systems or robots with specific chemical skills have been demonstrated,but conducting all-round scientific research remains challenging.Here,we present an all-round AI-Chemist equipped with scientific data intelligence that is capable of performing basic tasks generally required in chemical research.Based on a service platform,the AI-Chemist is able to automatically read the literatures from a cloud database and propose experimental plans accordingly.It can control a mobile robot in-house or online to automatically execute the complete experimental process on 14 workstations,including synthesis,characterization and performance tests.The experimental data can be simultaneously analysed by the computational brain of the AI-Chemist through machine learning and Bayesian optimization,allowing a new hypothesis for the next iteration to be proposed.The competence of the AI-Chemist has been scrutinized by three different chemical tasks.In the future,the more advanced all-round AI-Chemists equipped with scientific data intelligence may cause changes to the landscape of the chemical laboratory.Qing Zhu Fei Zhang Yan Huang Hengyu Xiao LuYuan Zhao XuChun Zhang Tao Song XinSheng Tang Xiang Li Guo He BaoChen Chong JunYi Zhou YiHan Zhang Baicheng Zhang JiaQi Cao Man Luo Song Wang GuiLin Ye WanJun Zhang Xin Chen Shuang Cong Donglai Zhou Huirong Li Jialei Li Gang Zou WeiWei Shang Jun Jiang Yi Luo 2022National Science Review2022,9,10:5
3Age-Related Reduction in Cortical Thickness in First-Episode Treatment-Na?ve Patients with Schizophrenia显示文摘Substantial evidence supports the neurodevelopmental hypothesis of schizophrenia.Meanwhile,progressive neurodegenerative processes have also been reported,leading to the hypothesis that neurodegeneration is a characteristic component in the neuropathology of schizophrenia.However,a major challenge for the neurodegenerative hypothesis is that antipsychotic drugs used by patients have profound impact on brain structures.To clarify this potential confounding factor,we measured the cortical thickness across the whole brain using highresolution T1-weighted magnetic resonance imaging in 145 first-episode and treatment-naive patients with schizophrenia and 147 healthy controls.The results showed that,in the patient group,the frontal,temporal,parietal,and cingulate gyri displayed a significant age-related reduction of cortical thickness.In the control group,age-related cortical thickness reduction was mostly located in the frontal,temporal,and cingulate gyri,albeit to a lesser extent.Importantly,relative to healthy controls,patients exhibited a significantly smaller age-related cortical thickness in the anterior cingulate,inferior temporal,and insular gyri in the right hemisphere.These results provide evidence supporting the existence of neurodegenerative processes in schizophrenia and suggest that these processes already occur in the early stage of the illness.Yin Lin Mingli Li Yi Zhou Wei Deng Xiaohong Ma Qiang Wang Wanjun Guo Yinfei Li Lijun Jiang Xun Hu Nanyin Zhang Tao Li 2019Neuroscience Bulletin2019,35,4:5

5Research on the Necessity of Building National-level Grape and Cherry Germplasm Resources Bank in Shandong Province显示文摘At present,the grape and cherry industries in Shandong are in the leading position in China and have driven the development of related high-end manufacturing industries such as wine,brandy,preserved fruit processing,fruit juice processing and health products. Therefore,vigorously developing the grape and cherry industries in Shandong Province and carrying out development and innovation are important parts of Shandong Province in responding to the strategy of national new and old kinetic energy conversion. However,currently the germplasm resources preserved in the fruit tree resources banks in China are only 45% of those in the US and 27. 2% of those in the EU. Moreover,the development of fruit trees resources banks in Shandong is relatively backward in China,and there is still no banks related with grape and cherry germplasm resources in Shandong. Therefore,importance can be attached to the agriculture,forestry,and animal husbandry to build germplasm resources banks for grape and cherry industries in Shandong Province. Building the national-level grape and cherry germplasm resources bank in Shandong Province can also promote the utilization of wild and farm germplasm resources in the future; advance the research on the genes related to disease resistance,stress resistance and quality of grapes and cherries; push forward the construction and development of cherry and grape mutants banks. It is conducive to the research on the agronomic traits of grapes and cherries,and can provide the parents resources for planting innovation and improving the quality of grapes and cherries,as well as promote the development and application of molecular markers of grapes and cherries,including the identification of lines and crossbreeding. 11What attracts China's contracts to Latin America and the Caribbean?An empirical study of the determinants of Chinese contracts显示文摘As China's economy has reached the stage of'New Normal',Chinese companies are increasingly seeking opportunities overseas.In the context of the slow recovery of world economy,China's outward economic activities have found themselves in many parts of the globe,including the Latin Ameria and the Caribbean(LAC)region,some of the farthest places away from China.While many scholars have conducted extensive studies on China's trade and foreign direct investment(FDI)in Latin America and the Caribbean,this paper focusses on Chinese contracts in the region,a topic that has been rarely studied.Using both random-effects and fixed-effects models covering 30 LAC economies during 1998-2015,the multivariate panel regressions show that among numerous determinants,Chinese companies prefer to undertake projects in the countries that are economically more advanced and more populous.In addition to the level of development and the size of population,those that have natural resources,expansionary economy,and political openness tend to have Chinese contracts completed.The above,however,is true of only the countries with which China has diplomatic relations.For the countries that recognise China's Taiwan‘diplomatically',Chinese contracts do not seem to be as much economically determined as those that recognise People's Republic of China(PRC)diplomatically.Politics appear to interfere with contractual decisions except in the following categories:mineral resources and an expansionary economy.Yi Feng Zhijun Gao Wanjun Jiang 2018Economic and Political Studies2018,6,1:0

13An intelligent identification method of safety risk while drilling in gas drilling显示文摘In view of the shortcomings of current intelligent drilling technology in drilling condition representation, sample collection, data processing and feature extraction, an intelligent identification method of safety risk while drilling was established. The correlation analysis method was used to determine correlation parameters indicating gas drilling safety risk. By collecting monitoring data in the safety risk period of more than 20 wells, a sample database of a variety of safety risks in gas drilling was established, and the number of samples was expanded by using the method of few-shot learning. According to the forms of gas drilling monitoring data samples, a two-layer convolution neural network architecture was designed, and multiple convolution cores of different sizes and weights were set to realize the vertical and horizontal convolution computations of samples to extract and learn the variation law and correlation characteristics of multiple monitoring parameters. Finally, based on the training results of neural network, samples of different kinds of safety risks were selected to enhance the recognition accuracy. Compared with the traditional BP(error back propagation) full-connected neural network architecture, this method can more deeply and effectively identify safety risk characteristics in gas drilling, and thus identify and predict risks in advance, which is conducive to avoid and quickly solve safety risks while drilling.
