2Solar influenced late Holocene temperature changes on the northern Tibetan Plateau显示文摘Considerable efforts have been made to extend temperature records beyond the instrumental period through proxy reconstructions,in order to further understand the mechanisms of past climate variability.Yet,the global coverage of existing temperature records is still limited,especially for some key regions like the Tibetan Plateau and for earlier times including the Medieval Warm Period(MWP).Here we present decadally-resolved,alkenone-based,temperature records from two lakes on the northern Tibetan Plateau.Characterized by marked temperature variability,our records provide evidence that temperatures during the MWP were slightly higher than the modern period in this region.Further,our temperature reconstructions,within age uncertainty,can be well correlated with solar irradiance changes,suggesting a possible link between solar forcing and natural climate variability,at least on the northern Tibetan Plateau.HE YuXin LIU WeiGuo ZHAO Cheng WANG Zheng WANG HuanYe LIU Yi QIN XianYan HU QiHou AN ZhiSheng LIU ZhongHui 2013Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,9:11
3Polyploid organisms显示文摘Polyploids are organisms with three or more complete chromosome sets. Polyploidization is widespread in plants and animals, and is an important mechanism of speciation. Genome sequencing and related molecular systematics and bioinformatics studies on plants and animals in recent years support the view that species have been shaped by whole genome duplication during evolution. The stability of polyploids depends on rapid genome recombination and changes in gene expression after formation. The formation of polyploids and subsequent diploidization are important aspects in long-term evolution. Polyploids can be formed in various ways. Among them, hybrid organisms formed by distant hybridization could produce unreduced gametes and thus generate offspring with doubled chromosomes, which is a fast, efficient method of polyploidization. The formation of fertile polyploids not only promoted the interflow of genetic materials among species and enriched the species diversity, but also laid the foundation for polyploidy breeding. The study of polyploids has both important theoretical significance and valuable applications. 4Multi-proxy evidence for Late Pleistocene-Holocene climatic and environmental changes in Lop-Nur,Xinjiang,Northwest China显示文摘A 10.35-m-long sediment core from the Luobei depression in Lop-Nur,Xinjiang,Northwest China,provides detailed information about environmental changes during the Late Pleistocene.The samples taken every 5 cm of the core were analyzed for 10 environmental proxies,including magnetic susceptibility,granularity,chroma,carbonate and loss on ignition(LOI),and pH value.The chronology data are provided by the uranium/thorium disequi-librium dates.The sediments of the section were deposited during the last 32000 years.The results of analysis of 10 proxies were examined using multivariate statistical analysis,and the principal components were calculated.According to the results,the Late Pleistocene sequence contains four climatic and environmental stages appearing in the cycles of cold-wet and warm-dry changes.During 10-9 ka BP,it was the earliest warm episode in the Holocene.Environmental changes in this district were restricted by global change,as suggested by the analysis of glacial-interglacial cycles.But it was different from the mutative trend of a monsoon region in East China because of its own characteristics,which was the situation of cold-wet and warm-dry climate-environment change.The candidate reason may be the uplift of the Tibet Plateau and the westerly wind circulation.LUO Chao YANG Dong PENG Zicheng ZHANG Zhaofeng LIU Weiguo HE Jianfeng ZHOU Chenlin 2008Chinese Journal Of Geochemistry2008,27,3:3
5High-performance all-polymer solar cells enabled by a novel low bandgap non-fully conjugated polymer acceptor显示文摘The non-fully conjugated polymer as a new class of acceptor materials has shown some advantages over its small molecular counterpart when used in photoactive layers for all-polymer solar cells(all-PSCs),despite a low power conversion efficiency(PCE)caused by its narrow absorption spectra.Herein,a novel non-fully conjugated polymer acceptor PFY-2TS with a low bandgap of~1.40 eV was developed,via polymerizing a largeπ-fused small molecule acceptor(SMA)building block(namely YBO)with a non-conjugated thioalkyl linkage.Compared with its precursor YBO,PFY-2TS retains a similar low bandgap but a higher LUMO level.Moreover,compared with the structural analog of YBO-based fully conjugated polymer acceptor PFY-DTC,PFY-2TS shows a similar absorption spectrum and electron mobility,but significantly different molecular crystallinity and aggregation properties,which results in optimal blend morphology with a polymer donor PBDB-T and physical processes of the device in all-PSCs.As a result,PFY-2TS-based all-PSCs achieved a PCE of 12.31%with a small energy loss of 0.56 eV enabled by the reduced non-radiative energy loss(0.24 eV),which is better than that of 11.08%for the PFY-DTC-based ones.Our work clearly demonstrated that non-fully conjugated polymers as a new class of acceptor materials are very promising for the development of high-performance all-PSCs.Qunping Fan Ruijie Ma Tao Liu Jianwei Yu Yiqun Xiao Wenyan Su Guilong Cai Yuxiang Li Wenhong Peng Tao Guo Zhenghui Luo Huiliang Sun Lintao Hou Weiguo Zhu Xinhui Lu Feng Gao Ellen Moons Donghong Yu He Yan Ergang Wang 2021Science China Chemistry2021,64,8:3
6Uniform single atomic Cu_(1)-C_(4)sites anchored in graphdiyne for hydroxylation of benzene to phenol显示文摘For single-atom catalysts(SACs),the catalyst supports are not only anchors for single atoms,but also modulators for geometric and electronic structures,which determine their catalytic performance.Selecting an appropriate support to prepare SACs with uniform coordination environments is critical for achieving optimal performance and clarifying the relationship between the structure and the property of SACs.Approaching such a goal is still a significant challenge.Taking advantage of the strong d-πinteraction between Cu atoms and diacetylenic in a graphdiyne(GDY)support,we present an efficient and simple strategy for fabricating Cu single atoms anchored on GDY(Cu_(1)/GDY)with uniform Cu_(1)-C_(4)single sites under mild conditions.The Cu atomic structure was confirmed by combining synchrotron radiation X-ray absorption spectroscopy,X-ray photoele ctron spectroscopy and density functional theory(DFT)calculations.The as-prepared Cu1/GDY exhibits much higher activity than state-of-the-art SACs in direct benzene oxidation to phenol with H_(2)O_(2)reaction,with turnover frequency values of 251 h^(-1)at room temperature and 1889 h^(-1)at 60℃,respectively.Furthermore,even with a high benzene conversion of86%,high phenol sele ctivity(96%)is maintaine d,which can be ascribed to the hydrophobic and oleophyllic surface nature of Cu1/GDY for benzene adsorption and phenol desorption.Both experiments and DFT calculations indicate that Cu_(1)-C_(4)single sites are more effective at activating H_(2)O_(2)to form Cu=O bonds,which are important active intermediates for benzene oxidation to phenol.Jia Yu Changyan Cao Hongqiang Jin Weiming Chen Qikai Shen Peipei Li Lirong Zheng Feng He Weiguo Song Yuliang Li 2022National Science Review2022,9,9:3

17Correlation between δ^(18)O, Sr/Ca and Mg/Ca of coral Acropora and seawater temperature from coral culture experiments显示文摘To be used as proxies of seawater surface temperature(SST), the δ 18Oc values and Sr/Ca and Mg/Ca ratios of scleractinian coral skeletons must be verified by coral culture experiments in the laboratory. This paper describes a coral culture experiment that was conducted at several seawater temperatures T(21–28°C) using a tandem aquarium system and the new method for depositing coral skeletons grown under controlled conditions. The δ 18Oc values and the Sr/Ca and Mg/Ca ratios of the cultured coral were measured. We concluded that the δ 18Oc values and Sr/Ca and Mg/Ca ratios of the cultured coral are clearly correlated with T. The linear regression curve is δ18Oc(‰)=δ0.1427δT(°C)δ0.1495(n=18, r=0.955, p<0.0001), and the slope of δ0.1427‰/°C is at the low end of the range of published values(δ0.13–δ0.29‰/°C). The Sr/Ca ratio decreases with increasing T, whereas the Mg/Ca ratio increases with increasing T, indicating a negative correlation between Sr/Ca and Mg/Ca. Their linear regression curves are Sr/Ca(mmol/mol)=δ0.04156δT+10.59(n=15, r=0.789, p<0.005) and Mg/Ca(mmol/mol)= 0.04974δT+2.339(n=17, r=0.457, p<0.05), respectively, which demonstrate that when Mg/Ca and Sr/Ca are increased by one unit, T increases by 5.19°C and decreases by 15.62°C, respectively.
