| 3 | Micro-droplet Digital Polymerase Chain Reaction and Real-Time Quantitative Polymerase Chain Reaction Technologies Provide Highly Sensitive and Accurate Detection of Zika Virus显示文摘The establishment of highly sensitive diagnostic methods is critical in the early diagnosis and control of Zika virus(ZIKV)and in preventing serious neurological complications of ZIKV infection. In this study, we established micro-droplet digital polymerase chain reaction(ddPCR) and real-time quantitative PCR(RT-qPCR) protocols for the detection of ZIKV based on the amplification of the NS5 gene. For the ZIKV standard plasmid, the RT-qPCR results showed that the cycle threshold(Ct) value was linear from 10~1 to 10~8 copy/l L, with a standard curve R^2 of 0.999 and amplification efficiency of 92.203%;however, a concentration as low as 1 copy/l L could not be detected. In comparison with RT-qPCR, the dd PCR method resulted in a linear range of 10~1–10~4 copy/l L and was able to detect concentrations as low as 1 copy/l L. Thus, for detecting ZIKV from clinical samples, RT-qPCR is a better choice for high-concentration samples(above 10~1 copy/l L),while ddPCR has excellent accuracy and sensitivity for low-concentration samples. | 4 | Study on Extraction Technology of Theabrownine from Liubao Tea and Its Antioxidant Activity显示文摘[Objective]This study aimed to provide theoretical reference for the extraction of theabrownine from Liubao tea,determination of the biological activity,and development and utilization of theabrownine. [Method]Orthogonal experimental design was adopted to investigate the effects of solid-liquid ratio,extraction temperature,extraction duration,and extraction frequency on the yield of theabrownine extracted from Liubao tea. The extraction technology was optimized,and the antioxidant activity of theabrownine was analyzed. [Result] The results showed that extraction frequency and extraction temperature had significant effects on the yield of theabrownine extracted from Liubao tea,while solid-liquid ratio and extraction duration had no significant effect. The optimal conditions for extracting theabrownine from Liubao tea were determined as follows: solid-liquid ratio was 1∶30,extraction temperature was 100 ℃,extraction duration was 80 min,and extraction frequency was 4 times. Under these conditions,the yield of theabrownine reached 22.92%. Results of antioxidant activity determination showed that hydroxyl radical-scavenging activity of theabrownine was as high as 74%,and the scavenging effects was significantly higher than that of Vitamin C under low concentrations; nitroso-scavenging activity of theabrownine reached 73%,with no significant difference from that of Vitamin C; superoxide anion free radical-scavenging activity of theabrownine could be above 60%,which was lower than that of Vitamin C. | 6 | Bifunctional Liquid Metals Allow Electrical Insulating Phase Change Materials to Dual-Mode Thermal Manage the Li-Ion Batteries显示文摘Phase change materials(PCMs)are expected to achieve dual-mode thermal management for heating and cooling Li-ion batteries(LIBs)according to real-time thermal conditions,guaranteeing the reliable operation of LIBs in both cold and hot environments.Herein,we report a liquid metal(LM)modified polyethylene glycol/LM/boron nitride PCM,capable of dual-mode thermal managing the LIBs through photothermal effect and passive thermal conduction.Its geometrical conformation and thermal pathways fabricated through ice-template strategy are conformable to the LIB’s structure and heat-conduction characteristic.Typically,soft and deformable LMs are modified on the boron nitride surface,serving as thermal bridges to reduce the contact thermal resistance among adjacent fillers to realize high thermal conductivity of 8.8 and 7.6 W m^(−1) K^(−1) in the vertical and in-plane directions,respectively.In addition,LM with excellent photothermal performance provides the PCM with efficient battery heating capability if employing a controllable lighting system.As a proof-of-concept,this PCM is manifested to heat battery to an appropriate temperature range in a cold environment and lower the working temperature of the LIBs by more than 10℃ at high charging/discharging rate,opening opportunities for LIBs with durable working performance and evitable risk of thermal runaway. | Cong Guo Lu He Yihang Yao Weizhi Lin Yongzheng Zhang Qin Zhang Kai Wu Qiang Fu | 2022 | Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,12: | 1 |

| 9 | Novel lanthanide coordination polymers based on mixed N,O-donor ligands and their visible-light-driven photocatalytic performance显示文摘In the present work,we prepared three isostructural lanthanide(Ln) coordination polymers(CPs).namely [Ln(Hhpc)(phen)(NO_(3))](Ln=Gd(1),La(2),Y(3),H_(3)hpc=5-hydroxy-1 H-pyrazole-3-carboxyIic acid,phen=1,10-phenanthroline) by hydrothermal method.Their structures were characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction,Fourier transform infrared spectrum,elemental analysis,powder X-ray diffraction and thermal gravimetric analysis.CPs 1-3 are isostrutural and exhibit two-dimensional(2 D)wavy layered structure constructed from inorganic chains,in which equivalent eight coordinated Ln^(3+) ions are linked through carboxylate groups.The three dimensional supramolecular structure is further formed by hydrogen bonding.The photocatalytic experiments show that CPs 2 and 3 exhibit good photocatalytic performances under visible light in degradation of methylene blue organic dye.The photocatalytic degradation efficiencies in 90 min are about 86.19% and 93.60% for CPs 2 and 3,respectively.The photocatalytic degradation mechanisms have been proposed through photoelectrochemical and trapping radical experiments. | Jun Chen Weizhi Kou Shunsheng He Chenlan Lin Xin Wang Lianshe Fu Ting-Hai Yang | 2023 | Journal of Rare Earths2023,41,1: | 0 |
