1Effect of chlorine dioxide on avian influenza A(H7N9)virus显示文摘Avian influenza remains a threat to human wellbeing.Hypochlorite derivatives are commonly used as disinfectants to prevent the spread of the disease.The World Health Organization(WHO)has listed chlorine dioxide(ClO_(2))as an A1‐level,safe,and efficient disinfectant.In this study,we tested the efficacy of ClO_(2),in aqueous solution and gas forms,against avian influenza A(H7N9)virus.The virus suspension was mixed with ClO_(2) aqueous solutions of various concentrations and for various time intervals.Aliquots of the mixture were then serially diluted,and the 50%tissue culture infective dose(TCID50)was measured with a hemagglutination test on MDCK cells.ClO_(2) gas produced from generators was introduced in a chamber containing the virus suspension in a Petri dish.The infective activity of the surviving virus was measured by the hemagglutination test.An aqueous solution of ClO_(2) at 126μg/mL for 15 s was effective given that no surviving virus was detected with the hemagglutination test.ClO_(2) gas at>5μL/L sustained for 1 h inactivated the virus effectively,while at 2.5μL/L for 1 h,it only partially inactivated the virus.ClO_(2) as gas or aqueous solution at a certain concentration is effective in inactivating the H7N9 virus,and can be applied for the decontamination and disinfection of environments.Zhiping Sun Yun Qian Norio Ogata Xia Cai Wendong Han Youhua Xie Hirofumi Morino Koushirou Sogawa Takashi Shibata Di Qu 2022Biosafety and Health2022,4,1:2
2HIV-1 Vif suppresses antiviral immunity by targeting STING显示文摘HIV-1 infection-induced cGAS–STING–TBK1–IRF3 signaling activates innate immunity to produce type I interferon(IFN).The HIV-1 nonstructural protein viral infectivity factor(Vif)is essential in HIV-1 replication,as it degrades the host restriction factor APOBEC3G.However,whether and how it regulates the host immune response remains to be determined.In this study,we found that Vif inhibited the production of type I IFN to promote immune evasion.HIV-1 infection induced the activation of the host tyrosine kinase FRK,which subsequently phosphorylated the immunoreceptor tyrosine-based inhibitory motif(ITIM)of Vif and enhanced the interaction between Vif and the cellular tyrosine phosphatase SHP-1 to inhibit type I IFN.Mechanistically,the association of Vif with SHP-1 facilitated SHP-1 recruitment to STING and inhibited the K63-linked ubiquitination of STING at Lys337 by dephosphorylating STING at Tyr162.However,the FRK inhibitor D-65495 counteracted the phosphorylation of Vif to block the immune evasion of HIV-1 and antagonize infection.These findings reveal a previously unknown mechanism through which HIV-1 evades antiviral immunity via the ITIM-containing protein to inhibit the posttranslational modification of STING.These results provide a molecular basis for the development of new therapeutic strategies to treat HIV-1 infection.Yu Wang Gui Qian Lingyan Zhu Zhuo Zhao Yinan Liu Wendong Han Xiaokai Zhang Yihua Zhang Tingrong Xiong Hao Zeng Xianghui Yu Xiaofang Yu Xiaoyan Zhang Jianqing Xu Quanming Zou Dapeng Yan 2022Cellular & Molecular Immunology2022,19,1:2

6Facile Preparation of a Porous Biochar Derived from Waste Crab Shell with High Removal Performance for Diesel显示文摘In this study,a porous biochar material derived from waste crab shell was prepared by one-step hydrothermal carbonization and acetic acid activation method at 180°C,which was characterized by SEM,BET,XRD and FTIR.The results show that the as-prepared crab shell biochar(CSB)exhibits a fluffy irregular layered structure with abundant pores and oxygen-containing functional groups,which can facilitate the adsorption of diesel using CSB.In addition,batch adsorption experiments had been performed,effects of initial diesel concentration,adsorption time,adsorbent dosage and pH on the diesel adsorption using CSB were analyzed,which could be observed that CSB has high removal efficiency for diesel,and the maximum removal rate is up to 80.1%.The adsorption isotherms and kinetic studies were also investigated to determine the adsorption mechanism of diesel using CSB,the results show that the Langmuir model and the pseudo-second-order model are more suitable for describing the adsorption of diesel using CSB,indicating that the adsorption of diesel oil by CSB is monolayer chemical adsorption.This study will provide a theoretical basis for the high-value utilization of waste crab shell,which has a great potential in the treatment of oil spill.Xiao Han Zhaodi Wu Yi Yang Jian Guo Yaning Wang Lu Cai Wendong Song Lili Ji 2021Journal of Renewable Materials2021,9,8:1
7Correlation between heart rate variability and pupillary reflex in healthy adult subjects under the influence of alcohol显示文摘This study explored the association between pupil area variation, heart rate variability, and fatigue, caused by alcohol consumption. Sixteen healthy young male volunteers were enrolled in this study for a series of structured physical examinations. Individual drinking volume was strictly assessed in accordance with the normalized experimental design. The motions of the subjects' pupils, as well as electrocardiograms were recorded by a computerized recording system, both before and after drinking alcohol. After alcohol intake, the pupil diameter, and both low frequency and standard deviation of all heartbeat interval indices of heart rate variability showed significant variations compared with the baseline. In addition, time- and frequency-domain indices of heart rate variability were negatively associated with pupil area. 10Spontaneous imbibition characteristics of shale oil reservoir under the influence of osmosis显示文摘The spontaneous imbibition(SI)process in shale oil reservoirs is not only infuenced by capillary force,but also by the osmotic pressure between the fracturing fuid and formation water in the nanopores media.In this study,experimental methods are used to investigate the mechanisms of osmosis in the SI,taking into account the presence of initial formation water in shale oil reservoirs.To investigate the efect of osmosis,SI experiments were performed on the fne-grained felsic shale of the Qikou sag of Dagang oilfeld.Low-feld NMR testers and high-precision electronic balances are utilized for the measuring of oil–water migration.The results show that,when Sw≠0,high-salinity fuid SI can be divided into four stages:initial imbibition stage,drainage stage,secondary imbibition stage and stationary stage;when Sw=0,there is no drainage stage of high-salinity fuid SI;when Sw≠0 or Sw=0,low-salinity fuid SI can be called the“osmosis-enhanced SI”;and we have found that“newly formed pores or microfractures”as well as reducing salinity can promote SI.This article presents a systematic study of SI of shale oil reservoirs under the infuence of osmosis,which provide useful information for reservoir numerical simulation and development program design.Yuliang Su Qinghao Sun Wendong Wang Xincheng Guo Jilong Xu Guanqun Li Xiugang Pu Wenzhong Han Zhannan Shi 2022International Journal of Coal Science & Technology2022,9,5:0
11Valuation of Forest Ecosystem Services of the Kanas Nature Reserve in Xinjiang显示文摘Based on field surveys,typical sample-plot experiments,and long-term observation of ecological stations,the main species of trees in the Kanas Nature Reserve in Xinjiang were studied,and the value of their 7 kinds of services including water conservation,soil conservation,carbon fixation and oxygen release,accumulation of nutrients,air purification,biodiversity conservation,and forest recreation was evaluated in 2014.The results showed that:the total value of forest ecosystem services provided by the Kanas Nature Reserve in Xinjiang was 4.314 billion yuan/a,and the value of ecosystem services per unit area was 69,600 yuan/(hm^2·a).The value of forest ecosystem services were as follows:forest recreation(1,458,000,000 yuan/a) > water conservation(1,423,630,000 yuan/a) > biodiversity conservation(544,820,000 yuan/a) > carbon fixation and oxygen release(367,590,000 yuan/a) > air purification(258,830,000 yuan/a) > accumulation of nutrients(141,590,000 yuan/a) > soil conservation(119,270,000 yuan/a).According to the valuation of ecosystem services excluding forest recreation provided by 7 types of forests in the reserve,the value of ecosystem services per unit area of Pinus sibirica(Loud.) 13Design and 3D printing of porous cavity insulation structure for ultra-high electrical withstanding capability显示文摘Vacuum-dielectric interface is the most vulnerable part of vacuum insulation systems where surface electrical breakdown is prone to happen,hence severely restricts the development of advanced electro-vacuum devices with large capacity and its miniaturisation.Generally,a direct and effective way to improve vacuum surface insulation is to alleviate the initiation and development of multipactor phenomena.Inspired by this approach,the authors report a 3D-printed insulation structure designed with a millimetrescale surface cavity covered by periodic through-pore array via stereolithography,exhibiting remarkable multipactor suppression and flashover threshold improvement,well outperforming the conventional flashover mitigation strategies.Experiments and simulations demonstrate that electrons in the multipactor region pass through-pores and are unlikely to escape from the cavity,hence no longer participate in the above-surface multipactor process,and eventually improve flashover threshold.The proposed approach provides new inspiration for the design of advanced insulators featuring ultrahigh electrical withstanding capability and brings up new insight into pertinent industrial applications.Xiong Yang Guangyu Sun Baipeng Song Wenhu Han Chao Wang Wendong Li Shu Zhang Falun Song Fangzheng Zou Guanjun Zhang 2023High Voltage2023,8,4:0
