1Lushan M_S7.0 earthquake:A blind reserve-fault event显示文摘In the epicenter of the Lushan MS7.0 earthquake there are several imbricate active reverse faults lying from northwest to southeast,namely the Gengda-Longdong,Yanjing-Wulong,Shuangshi-Dachuan and Dayi faults.Emergency field investigations have indicated that no apparent earthquake surface rupture zones were located along these active faults or their adjacent areas.Only brittle compressive ruptures in the cement-covered pavements can be seen in Shuangshi,Taiping,Longxing and Longmen Townships,and these ruptures show that a local crustal shortening occurred in the region during the earthquake.Combining spatial distribution of the relocated aftershocks and focal mechanism solutions,it is inferred that the Lushan earthquake is classified as a typical blind reverse-fault earthquake,and it is advised that the relevant departments should pay great attention to other historically un-ruptured segments along the Longmenshan thrust belt and throughout its adjacent areas.XU XiWei WEN XueZe HAN ZhuJun CHEN GuiHua LI ChuanYou ZHENG WenJun ZHNAG ShiMin REN ZhiQun XU Chong TAN XiBin WEI ZhanYu WANG MingMing REN JunJie HE ZhongTai LIANG MingJian 2013Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,28:35
2Re-Os geochronology of Cu and W-Mo deposits in the Balkhash metallogenic belt,Kazakhstan and its geological significance显示文摘<正>The Central Asian metallogenic domain(CAMD) is a multi-core metallogenic system controlled by boundary strike-slip fault systems.The Balkhash metallogenic belt in Kazakhstan,in which occur many large and super-large porphyritic Cu—Mo deposits and some quartz vein- and greisen-type W—Mo deposits,is a well-known porphyritic Cu—Mo metallogenic belt in the CAMD.In this paper 11 molybdenite samples from the western segment of the Balkhash metallogenic belt are selected for Re—Os compositional analyses and Re—Os isotopic dating.Molybdenites from the Borly porphyry Cu deposit and the three quartz vein-greisen W—Mo deposits—East Kounrad.Akshatau and Zhanet—all have relatively high Re contents(2712—2772μg/g for Borly and 2.267—31.50μg/g for the other three W—Mo deposits),and lower common Os contents(0.670—2.696 ng/g for Borly and 0.0051—0.056 ng/g for the other three).The molybdenites from the Borly porphyry Cu—Mo deposit and the East Kounrad,Zhanet,and Akshatau quartz vein- and greisen-type W—Mo deposits give average model Re—Os ages of 315.9 Ma,298.0 Ma,295.0 Ma,and 289.3 Ma respectively.Meanwhile,molybdenites from the East Kounrad,Zhanet,and Akshatau W—Mo deposits give a Re—Os isochron age of 297.9 Ma,with an MSWD value of 0.97.Re-Os dating of the molybdenites indicates that Cu—W—Mo metallogenesis in the western Balkhash metallogenic belt occurred during Late Carboniferous to Early Permian(315.9—289.3 Ma),while the porphyry Cu—Mo deposits formed at—316 Ma,and the quartz vein-greisen W—Mo deposits formed at ~298 Ma.The Re—Os model and isochron ages thus suggest that Late Carboniferous porphyry granitoid and pegmatite magmatism took place during the late Hercynian movement.Compared to the Junggar-East Tianshan porphyry Cu metallogenic belt in northwestern China,the formation of the Cu—Mo metallogenesis in the Balkhash metallogenic belt occurred between that of the Tuwu-Yandong in East Tianshan and the Baogutu porphyry Cu deposits in West Junggar. 3Tree-ring-based annual precipitation reconstruction in Kalaqin, Inner Mongolia for the last 238 years显示文摘A tree-ring-width chronology of Pinus tabulaeformis from Kalaqin, Inner Mongolia was developed using modern dendroc hronological techniques. Based on the results of correlation function analysis, the total precipitation from the previous August to current July was reconstructed for 1771-2008 AD with an explained variance of 49.3%. The reconstruction correlated well with the dryness/wetness series derived from historical documents, as well as the precipitation reconstruction of the Chifeng-Weichang region. There were eight intervals with greater precipitation than the average (associated with the strong East Asian summer monsoon) and seven intervals lower than the average (weak monsoon). 4Failure probability estimation of overhead transmission lines considering spatial and temporal variation in severe weather显示文摘Estimation for weather-related failure probability of overhead transmission lines is essential in the reliability assessment of a power system.This paper analyzes the outage and weather data of 110 kV overhead transmission lines in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of China during 2011–2014.The result reveals obvious uneven distributions of outage events for time and space due to the spatial and temporal variation of severe weather.Based on the results, an estimation method is proposed in this paper.Split and aggregation is used to smooth the outage and weather data.The poisson model is adopted in our method to investigate the statistic characteristics of transmission line outage events.Regression analysis is applied to obtain the correlation between the weather intensity and history failure rate.Furthermore the method proposed is validated against the empirical outage data.Shuai YANG Wenjun ZHOU Shiyang ZHU Le WANG Lisha YE Xuezhi XIA Han LI 2019Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy2019,7,1:5
5A Polysaccharide-Degrading Marine Bacterium Flammeovirga sp.MY04 and Its Extracellular Agarase System显示文摘Bacteria of the genus Flammeovirga can digest complex polysaccharides (CPs), but no details have been reported regarding the CP depolymerases of these bacteria. MY04, an agarolytic marine bacterium isolated from coastal sediments, has been identified as a new member of the genus Flammeovirga. The MY04 strain is able to utilize multiple CPs as a sole carbon source and grows well on agarose, mannan, or xylan. This strain produces high concentrations of extracellular proteins (490 mg L-1 ± 18.2 mg L-1 liquid culture) that exhibit efficient and extensive degradation activities on various polysaccharides, especially agarose. These proteins have an activity of 310 U mg-1 ± 9.6 U mg-1 proteins. The extracellular agarase system (EAS) in the crude extracellular enzymes contains at least four agarose depolymerases, which are with molecular masses of approximately 30-70 kDa. The EAS is stable at a wide range of pH values (6.0-11.0), temperatures (0-50℃), and sodium chloride (NaCl) concentrations (0- 0.9 mol L-1). Two major degradation products generated from agarose by the EAS are identified to be neoagarotetraose and neoagarohexaose, suggesting that β-agarases are the major constituents of the MY04 EAS. 6Safety and effectiveness of Traditional Chinese Medicinal herbs for diabetic foot:a systematic review and Meta-analysis显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the safety and effectiveness of traditional Chinese medicinal herbs(TCMHs) as an adjunctive treatment for diabetic foot(DF).METHODS: The sources used were Pub Med(1966 to August 2015), the Cochrane Library(1988 to August 2015), the Excerpta Medica Database(1974 to August 2015), Wiley(1807 to August 2015), Ovid(1988 to August 2015), Clinical Trials.gov(1993 to August 2015), the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials(1966 to August 2015), China Science and Technology Journal Database(1994 to August2015), Chi CTR(2007 to August 2015), Sino Med(1978 to August 2015), the China National Knowledge Infrastructure(1984 to August 2015), Wanfang Data Knowledge Service Platform(1998 to August 2015), and the Traditional Chinese Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System(TCMLARS)(1984 to August 2015). Studies were identified and selected, and the data were extracted by two independent reviewers. The Cochrane Risk of Bias tool was used to assess the quality of studies. Revman 5.2 software was used for data synthesis and analysis.RESULTS: Sixteen studies were included based on the selection criteria. Of these, seven studies had low bias risk and one had high bias risk. In the overall analysis, TCMHs resulted in a significantly higher total effective rate(OR 5.08; 95% CI 3.50 to7.36; P < 0.000 01), cure rate(OR 2.12; 95% CI1.63 to 2.77; P < 0.000 01), and shorter time to ulcer healing(SMD-0.64; 95% CI-0.89 to-0.40;P < 0.000 01) when compared with non-TCMHs treated DF. The analysis also revealed that significantly fewer amputations occurred in TCMHs patients(OR 0.36; 95% CI 0.20 to 0.65; P = 0.0007).Sensitivity analysis indicated that the findings of the Meta-analysis were robust to study quality,and the funnel plot of the Egger test showed no publication bias.CONCLUSION: TCMHs intervention appears to be more effective for DF, with a similar safety profile,when compared with non-TCMHs treatments, although this result requires further verification with more well-designed studies.Chen Shuo Ma Jianwei Xu Limei Niu Tianhui Dong Jing Liu Wenjun Han Qi 2017Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2017,37,6:5
7Dark solitons in WS_2 erbium-doped fiber lasers显示文摘Tungsten disulfide(WS_2) is a type of anisotropic-layered compound and has broadband saturable absorption features as saturable absorbers(SAs). With WS_2-based SAs, dark solitons in erbium-doped fiber(EDF) lasers are first obtained. For the generated dark solitons, the center wavelength is measured to be 1530 nm, and the repetition rate is about 116.5 MHz. A series of optical spectra is exhibited. 9A recombinant receptor-binding domain in trimeric form generates protective immunity against SARSCoV-2 infection in nonhuman primates显示文摘A safe and effective vaccine is critical to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.Here,we developed a trimeric SARS-CoV-2 receptor-binding domain(RBD)subunit vaccine candidate that simulates the natural structure of the spike(S)trimer glycoprotein.Immunization with the RBD trimer-induced robust humoral and cellular immune responses,and a high level of neutralizing antibodies was maintained for at least 4.5 months.Moreover,the antibodies that were produced in response to the vaccine effectively cross-neutralized the SARS-CoV-2501Y.V2 variant(B.1.351).Of note,when the vaccine-induced antibodies dropped to a sufficiently low level,only one boost quickly activated the anamnestic immune response,conferring full protection against a SARSCoV-2 challenge in rhesus macaques without typical histopathological changes in the lung tissues.These results demonstrated that the SARS-CoV-2 RBD trimer vaccine candidate is highly immunogenic and safe,providing long-lasting,broad,and significant immunity protection in nonhuman primates,thereby offering an optimal vaccination strategy against COVID-19.Limin Yang Deyu Tian Jian-bao Han Wenhui Fan Yuan Zhang Yunlong Li Wenqiang Sun Yanqiu Wei Xiaodong Tian Dan-dan Yu Xiao-li Feng Gong Cheng Yuhai Bi Yong-tang Zheng Wenjun Liu 2021The Innovation2021,2,3:3
10Research on the Production Process of Apple Clear Juice Beverage显示文摘[Objective] The study aimed to determine the formula and production process of apple clear juice beverage. [Method] Concentrated apple juice was used as the raw material in this experiment, apple clear juice beverage was produced through dilution, blending, color protection, sterilization and other key processes. By using orthogonal test, the best formula of the apple clear juice beverage was determined, and then the color protection effects of three color protection agents Cys, NaHSO3 and VC on the apple clear juice beverage were compared. [Result] The best formula of the apple clear juice beverage was composed of 0.15% citric acid, 0.20% sodium citrate, 0.06% tannic acid, 6% white sugar and 16% concentrated apple juice. Besides, there was a big difference among the three kinds of color protection agents (Cys, NaHSO3 and VC) in the color protection effects on the apple clear juice beverage. Considering the quality safety of the product, 0.60% VC was chosen as the best color protection agent. 11Airport gate assignment problem with deep reinforcement learning显示文摘With the rapid development of air transportation in recent years,airport operations have attracted a lot of attention.Among them,airport gate assignment problem(AGAP)has become a research hotspot.However,the real-time AGAP algorithm is still an open issue.In this study,a deep reinforcement learning based AGAP(DRL-AGAP)is proposed.The optimization object is to maximize the rate of flights assigned to fixed gates.The real-time AGAP is modeled as a Markov decision process(MDP).The state space,action space,value and rewards have been defined.The DRL-AGAP algorithm is evaluated via simulation and it is compared with the flight pre-assignment results of the optimization software Gurobiand Greedy.Simulation results show that the performance of the proposed DRL-AGAP algorithm is close to that of pre-assignment obtained by the Gurobi optimization solver.Meanwhile,the real-time assignment ability is ensured by the proposed DRL-AGAP algorithm due to the dynamic modeling and lower complexity.赵家明 Wu Wenjun Liu Zhiming Han Changhao Zhang Xuanyi Zhang Yanhua 2020High Technology Letters2020,26,1:3
12Sonodynamic therapy with immune modulatable two-dimensional coordination nanosheets for enhanced anti-tumor immunotherapy显示文摘Ultrasound with deep penetration depth and high security could be adopted in sonodynamic therapy(SDT)by activating sonosensitizers to generate cytotoxic reactive oxygen species(ROS).Herein,two-dimensional(2D)coordination nanosheets composed of Zn^(2+)and Tetrakis(4-carboxyphenyl)porphyrin(TCPP)are fabricated.While exhibiting greatly enhanced ultrasoundtriggered ROS generation useful for noninvasive SDT,such Zn-TCPP 2D nanosheets show high loading capacity of oligodeoxynudeotides such as cytosine—phosphorothioate-guanine(CpG),which is a potent toll like receptor 9(TLR9)agonist useful in activating immune responses.Highly effective SD T of primary tumors could release tumor-associated antigens,which working together with Zn-TCPP/CpG adjuvant nanosheets could function like whole-tumor-cell vaccines and trigger tumor-specific immune responses.Interestingly,ultrasound itself could strengthen anti-tumor immune responses by improving the tumor-infiltration of T cells and limiting regulatory T cells in the tumor microenvironment.Thus,SDT using Zn-TCPP/CpG nanosheets after destruction of primary tumors could induce potent antitumor immune responses to inhibit distant abscopal tumors without direct SD T treatment.Moreover,SDT with Zn-TCPP/CpG could trigger strong immunological memory effects to inhibit cancer recurrence after elimination of primary tumors.Therefore,the 2D coordination nanosheet may be a promising platform to deliver potent SDT-triggered immunotherapy for highly effective cancer treatment.Wenjun Zhu Qian Chen Qiutong Jin Yu Chao Lele Sun Xiao Han Jun Xu Longlong Tian Jinglei Zhang Teng Liu Zhuang Liu 2021Nano Research2021,14,1:3

15Deletion of a Non-Catalytic Region Increases the Enzymatic Activity of a β-Agarase from Flammeovirga sp. MY04显示文摘A Glycoside hydrolase(GH) typically contains one catalytic module and varied non-catalytic regions(NCRs). However, effects of the NCRs to the catalytic modules remain mostly unclear except the carbohydrate-binding modules(CBMs). Aga G4 is a GH16 endo-β-agarase of the agarolytic marine bacterium Flammeovirga sp. MY04. The enzyme consists of an extra sugar-binding peptide within the catalytic module, with no predictable CBMs but function-unknown sequences in the NCR, which is a new characteristic of agarase sequences. In this study, we deleted the NCR sequence, a 140-amino acid peptide at the C-terminus and expressed the truncated gene, aga G4-T140, in Escherichia coli. After purification and refolding, the truncated agarase r Aga G4-T140 retained the same catalytic temperature and p H value as r Aga G4. Using combined fluorescent labeling, HPLC and MS/MS techniques, we identified the end-products of agarose degradation by r Aga G4-T140 as neoagarotetraose and neoagarohexaose, with a final molar ratio of 1.53:1 and a conversion ratio of approximately 70%, which were similar to those of r Aga G4. However, the truncated agarase r Aga G4-T140 markedly decreased in protein solubility by 15 times and increased in enzymatic activities by 35 times. The oligosaccharide production of r Aga G4-T140 was approximately 25 times the weight of that produced by equimolar r Aga G4. 16Chromosome engineering of pollen wheat显示文摘Chromosome engineering of pollen wheat is the new procedure combining anther culture and chromosome engineering techniques. It could transfer useful alien genes into wheat varieties, enhancing genetic diversity for investigation of genetics and breeding. In the present study, two new procedures, at genome level and single chromosome level, were established.Compared with the classical chromosome engineering, the chromosome engineering of pollen wheat has the following main characters: ( ⅰ ) diversity of products, ( ⅱ ) rapid stability and (ⅲ) high efficiency of selection. Experiments indicated that chromosome engineering of pollen wheat is an efficient way for creating alien translocation line, especially non-Robertsonian translocation line. 17Adaptive Wall-Based Attachment Ventilation:A Comparative Study on Its Effectiveness in Airborne Infection Isolation Rooms with Negative Pressure显示文摘The transmission of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)has presented challenges for the control of the indoor environment of isolation wards.Scientific air distribution design and operation management are crucial to ensure the environmental safety of medical staff.This paper proposes the application of adaptive wall-based attachment ventilation and evaluates this air supply mode based on contaminants dispersion,removal efficiency,thermal comfort,and operating expense.Adaptive wall-based attachment ventilation provides a direct supply of fresh air to the occupied zone.In comparison with a ceiling air supply or upper sidewall air supply,adaptive wall-based attachment ventilation results in a 15%–47%lower average concentration of contaminants,for a continual release of contaminants at the same air changes per hour(ACH;10 h^(-1)).The contaminant removal efficiency of complete mixing ventilation cannot exceed 1.For adaptive wall-based attachment ventilation,the contaminant removal efficiency is an exponential function of the ACH.Compared with the ceiling air supply mode or upper sidewall air supply mode,adaptive wall-based attachment ventilation achieves a similar thermal comfort level(predicted mean vote(PMV)of0.1–0.4;draught rate of 2.5%–6.7%)and a similar performance in removing contaminants,but has a lower ACH and uses less energy.Ying Zhang Ou Han Angui Li Li’an Hou Thomas Olofsson Linhua Zhang Wenjun Lei 2022Engineering2022,8,1:2
18Optimization of Extraction Process and Antioxidant Activity of Polysaccharide in Embelia parviflora Wall.by RSM显示文摘[Objectives]To optimize the extraction process of polysaccharide in Embelia parviflora Wall.by response surface methodology,and to study the antioxidant activity in vitro of polysaccharide in E.parviflora,so as to provide a basis for the further development and utilization of E.parviflora.[Methods]The solid-to-liquid ratio,extraction temperature,extraction time and extraction times were used as single factors to investigate the effects.On this basis,the response surface methodology(RSM)was used to optimize the extraction process of polysaccharide in E.parviflora.DPPH and ABTS free radicals were used to investigate the antioxidant capacity of polysaccharide in E.parviflora.[Results]The optimal solid-to-liquid ratio for extraction of polysaccharide from E.parviflora was 32∶1(mL/g),extraction temperature was 77℃,and extraction time was 36 min.The IC50 values of DPPH and ABTS were 0.04 and 0.03 mg/mL,respectively.[Conclusions]The optimized extraction process of polysaccharide in E.parviflora is stable,the extraction rate is high,and has strong antioxidant activity.It is expected to provide a reference for the industrial extraction of polysaccharide from E.parviflora.Wenli LI Xianxian LIU Xiaolian LIANG Yong CHEN Danqing PANG Zhouyan HUANG Qian HAN Wenjun LIU Liangni CHEN 2020Medicinal Plant2020,11,3:2
19Reduced dietary nitrogen with a high Lys:CP ratio restricted dietary N excretion without negatively affecting weaned piglets显示文摘We hypothesized that balancing the content of exogenous amino acids, especially lysine, to reduce protein content in swine diets could reduce nitrogen(N) pollution associated with animal husbandry. Two experiments(45 d each experiment) were performed on weaned piglets(Duroc x Landrace x Yorkshire,28 d of age) to test this and to determine the optimal lysine to crude protein(Lys:CP) ratio in diet. In Exp. 1,12 piglets(6 replicates [n = 6]) were fed diets containing different levels of CP(17% and 20%) but the same level of Lys, Increased CP content resulted in significant increases(P < 0.05) of average daily gain(ADG), average daily feed intake(ADFI), and body weight(BW);but did not affect the feed to gain ratio. In Exp. 2,24 piglets(8 replicates [n = 8]) were fed 1 of 3 diets as follows: 1) 20% CP with a regular Lys:CP ratio(6.23%, control);2) 17% CP with a reduced Lys:CP ratio(6.14%, LL);or 3) 17% CP with a standard Lys:CP ratio(7.32%, SL). The ADG, final BW, serum concentrations of growth hormone and insulin-like growth factor-1, villus height in the jejunum, and villus height to crypt depth ratio were the lowest in piglets fed LL diet, whereas blood urea N concentration was the lowest and the value of lipase activity was the highest in the piglets fed SL diet.
