1pORF5 plasmid protein of Chlamydia trachomatis induces MAPK-mediated pro-inflammatory cytokines via TLR2 activation in THP-1 cells显示文摘Infection with Chlamydia trachomatis induces inflammatory pathologies in the urogenital tract that can lead to infertility and ectopic pregnancy.Pathogenesis of infection has been mostly attributed to excessive cytokine production.However,precise mechanisms on how C.trachomatis triggers this production,and which protein(s) stimulate inflammatory cytokines remains unknown.In the present study,the C.trachomatis pORF5 protein induced tumor necrosis factor alpha(TNF-α),interleukin-1 beta(IL-1β) and interleukin-8(IL-8) in dose-and time-dependent manners in the THP-1 human monocyte cell line.We found that intracellular p38/mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK) and extracellular signal-regulated kinase(ERK)/MAPK signaling pathways were required for the induction of TNF-α,IL-1β and IL-8.Blockade of toll-like receptor 2(TLR2) signaling reduced induction levels of TNF-α,IL-8 and IL-1β.We concluded that the C.trachomatis pORF5 protein might contribute to the inflammatory processes associated with chlamydial infections.ZHOU Hui HUANG QiuLin LI ZhongYu WU YiMou XIE XiaoBing MA KangKang CAO WenJuan ZHOU Zhou LU ChunXue ZHONG GuangMing 2013Science China(Life Sciences)2013,56,5:26
2A Fiber Tractography Study of Social-Emotional Related Fiber Tracts in Children and Adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder显示文摘The symptoms of autism spectrum disorder(ASD) have been hypothesized to be caused by changes in brain connectivity. From the clinical perspective, the‘‘disconnectivity'' hypothesis has been used to explain characteristic impairments in ‘‘socio-emotional'' function.Therefore, in this study we compared the facial emotional recognition(FER) feature and the integrity of socialemotional-related white-matter tracts between children and adolescents with high-functioning ASD(HFA) and their typically developing(TD) counterparts. The correlation between the two factors was explored to find out if impairment of the white-matter tracts is the neural basis of social-emotional disorders. Compared with the TD group,FER was significantly impaired and the fractional anisotropy value of the right cingulate fasciculus was increased in the HFA group(P \ 0.01). 3Core-shell Ni_(3)Sn_(2)@C particles anchore d on 3D N-dope d porous carbon skeleton for modulated electromagnetic wave absorption显示文摘Synthesizing multi-component composites via a straightforward,reliable,and scalable approach has been challenging.Herein,a three-dimensional nitrogen-doped porous carbon decorated with core-shell Ni_(3)Sn_(2)@carbon particles(3D N-PC/Ni_(3)Sn_(2)@C)was customized through a simple salt-template pyrolysis approach.The formed Ni_(3)Sn_(2) particles are perfectly surrounded by crystalline carbon layers and em-bedded in 3D carbon walls during pyrolysis.The dual protection of crystalline carbon layers and porous carbon walls guarantees the electrical conductivity and stability of Ni_(3)Sn_(2).The intriguing 3D and core-shell structure coupled with the introduction of multiple components empowers the composite with rich heterogeneous interface and conductive network,and contributes to the lightweight,corrosion resistance,oxidation resistance,and superior stability of electromagnetic(EM)wave absorbers.The N-PC/Ni_(3)Sn_(2)@C possesses the minimum reflection loss(RL min)of-54.01 dB and wide effective absorption bandwidth(EAB)of 7.36 GHz under a low filler content of less than 10%.The concept in the work proposes a facile,eco-friendly,and scalable pathway for the synthesis of other heterogeneous structures of EM wave ab-sorbers.Hongxia Zhang Kaige Sun Kangkang Sun Lei Chen Guanglei Wu 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,27:4
4First experimental constraints on WIMP couplings in the effective field theory framework from CDEX显示文摘We present weakly interacting massive particles(WIMPs) search results performed using two approaches of effective field theory from the China Dark Matter Experiment(CDEX), based on the data from both CDEX-1B and CDEX-10 stages. In the nonrelativistic effective field theory approach, both time-integrated and annual modulation analyses were used to set new limits for the coupling of WIMP-nucleon effective operators at 90% confidence level(C.L.) and improve over the current bounds in the low mχregion. In the chiral effective field theory approach, data from CDEX-10 were used to set an upper limit on WIMP-pion coupling at 90% C.L. 5Human activity during the late Pleistocene in the Lop Nur region, northwest China: Evidence from a buried stone artifact显示文摘The Lop Nur region, in the east part of Tarim Basin, was an important transportation junction between west and east,north and south Eurasia. However, previous studies on prehistoric human activity have concentrated mostly on the Bronze Age,whereas that during the Stone Age remains largely unresearched. Here, we present a new direct evidence of human activity in the late Pleistocene, recorded on a grinding stone buried in a lacustrine sediment section of the Lop Nur region. The grain size distribution of the sediment section indicates that the site was probably in the center of a lake with weak hydrodynamic environment. Therefore, the stone artifact can only be carried to here by people instead of river and it was never move as soon as left here. Results of radiocarbon dating, the evident stratigraphic relations between the stone artifact and the sedimentary formation, indicate that the human activity could extend to approximately 13 ka BP. Furthermore, the results of starch-grain and use-wear analyses suggest that ancient humans gathered seeds of Triticeae, roots, and tubers and used the grinding stone to simply process selected plant as plant foodstuffs during this period. 8Printable and stable all-polymer solar cells based on non-conjugated polymer acceptors with excellent mechanical robustness显示文摘All-polymer solar cells(all-PSCs)trigger enormous commercial applications,and great progress has been made in recent years.However,from small-area devices to large-area modules,the poor adaption of the materials for printing methods and the large efficiency loss are still great challenges.Herein,three novel non-conjugated polymer acceptors(PTH-Y,PTClm-Yand PTClo-Y)are developed for all-PSCs.It can be found that non-conjugated polymer acceptors can effectively minimize the technique and efficiency gaps between small-area spin-coating and large-area blade-printing method,which can facilitate the preparation of large-area flexible device.By directly inheriting the spin-coating condition,the blade-coating processed device based on PTCloY achieves an impressive power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 12.42%,comparable to the spin-coating processed one(12.74%).Such a non-conjugated polymer system also can well tolerate large-scale preparation and flexible substrate.Notable PCE of 11.94%for large-area rigid device and 11.56%for large-area flexible device are obtained,which is the highest value for large-area flexible all-PSCs fabricated by blade-coating.In addition,the non-conjugated PTClo-Y-based devices show excellent thermal stability and mechanical robustness.These results demonstrate that the non-conjugated polymer acceptors are potential candidates for the fabrication of highly-efficient,large-area and robust flexible all-PSCs by printing methods.Dong Chen Siqi Liu Xiaotian Hu Feiyan Wu Jiabin Liu Kangkang Zhou Long Ye Lie Chen Yiwang Chen 2022Science China Chemistry2022,65,1:1

10Glucose-responsive,antioxidative HA-PBA-FA/EN106 hydrogel enhanced diabetic wound healing through modulation of FEM1b-FNIP1 axis and promoting angiogenesis显示文摘The diabetic wounds remain to be unsettled clinically,with chronic wounds characterized by drug-resistant bacterial infections,compromised angiogenesis and oxidative damage to the microenvironment.To ameliorate oxidative stress and applying antioxidant treatment in the wound site,we explore the function of folliculininteracting protein 1(FNIP1),a mitochondrial gatekeeper protein works to alter mitochondrial morphology,reduce oxidative phosphorylation and protect cells from unwarranted ROS accumulation.And our in vitro experiments showed the effects of FNIP1 in ameliorating oxidative stress and rescued impaired angiogenesis of HUVECs in high glucose environment.To realize the drug delivery and local regulation of FNIP1 in diabetic wound sites,a novel designed glucose-responsive HA-PBA-FA/EN106 hydrogel is introduced for improving diabetic wound healing.Due to the dynamic phenylboronate ester structure with a phenylboronic acid group between hyaluronic acid(HA)and phenylboronic acid(PBA),the hydrogel is able to realize a glucose-responsive release of drugs.Fulvic acid(FA)is added in the hydrogel,which not only severs as crosslinking agent but also provides antibacterial and anti-inflammatory abilities.Moreover,the release of FEM1b-FNIP1 axis inhibitor EN106 ameliorated oxidative stress and stimulated angiogenesis through FEM1b-FNIP1 axis regulation.These in vivo and in vitro results demonstrated that accelerated diabetic wounds repair with the use of the HA-PBA-FA/EN106 hydrogel,which may provide a promising strategy for chronic diabetic wound repair.Wenqian Zhang Kangkang Zha Yuan Xiong Weixian Hu Lang Chen Ze Lin Chenyan Yu Wu Zhou Faqi Cao Hankun Hu Bobin Mi Guohui Liu 2023Bioactive Materials2023,,12:0
11Quantitative characterization of shale gas reservoir properties based on BiLSTM with attention mechanism显示文摘Evaluating the potential of shale gas reservoirs is inseparable from reservoir properties prediction.Accurate characterization of total organic carbon,porosity and permeability is necessary to understand shale gas reservoirs.Seismic data can help to estimate these parameters in the area crossing-wells.We develop an improved deep learning method to achieve shale gas reservoir properties estimation.The rela-tionship between elastic attributes and reservoir properties is built up by training a deep bidirectional long short-term memory network,which is suitable for time/depth sequence prediction,on the logging and core data.Except some commonly used technologies,such as layer normalization and dropout,we also introduce attention mechanism to further enhance the prediction accuracy.Besides,we propose to carry on the normal scores transform on the input features,which aims to make the relationship between inputs and targets clear and easy to learn.During the training process,we construct quantile loss function,then use Adam algorithm to optimize the network.Not only the characterization results,but also the confidence interval can be output that is meaningful for uncertainty analysis.The well exper-iment indicates that the method is promising for reducing prediction errors when training samples are insufficient.After analyzing in wells,the established model is acted upon seismic inverted elastic attri-butes to characterize shale gas reservoirs in the whole studied area.The estimation results coincide well with the actual development results,showing the feasibility of the novel method on the characterization for shale gas reservoirs.Xingye Liu Huailai Zhou Kangkang Guo Chao Li Shaohuan Zu Lihui Wu 2023Geoscience Frontiers2023,14,4:0

13Lithium incorporation enhanced resistive switching behaviors in lithium lanthanum titanium oxide-based heterostructure显示文摘Resistive switching devices with a high self-rectifying ratio are important for achieving the crossbar memristor array that overcomes the sneak current issue.Herein,we demonstrate a single amorphous lithium lanthanum titanium oxide(LLTO)layer based Pt/LLTO/Pt device possessing a self-rectifying ratio higher than 1 × 10^(4) that is comparable to the reported devices with complicated multi-layer stacking structures.Moreover,the device shows forming-free and highly uniform bipolar resistive switching(BRS)characteristic that facilitates the potential applications.The trap-controlled and trap-free space charge limited conductions are demonstrated to dominate the high and low resistance states of the device,respectively.The fast migration of lithium ions under external voltage accelerates the electron injection across the Pt/LLTO interface and also the space charge accumulation in the LLTO layer,and as a result,the high performance of the Pt/LLTO/Pt device was achieved.As demonstrated Pt/LLTO/Pt device sheds a light on the potential applications of the lithium ionic conductors in self-rectifying resistive switching devices.Yibo Deng Xiaoguang Xu Lu Zhang Fei Du Qi Liu Jikun Chen Kangkang Meng Yong Wu Ming Yang Yong Jiang 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,33:0
