2Multispherical interactions and their effects on the Tibetan Plateau's earth system: a review of the recent researches显示文摘The Tibetan Plateau(TP) is a regional Earth system showing very strong interactions among its lithosphere, hydrosphere, cryosphere, biosphere, atmosphere, and anthrosphere. hese interactions manifest TP's impact on surrounding regions and relect TP's response to the global change. Quantifying the multispherical interactions is critically important to understand the TP environment. Our recent years researches including the ongoing program entitled ‘Tibetan Multi-Spheres Interactions and heir Resource-Environment Signiicance(TIMI)', the completed program entitled. ‘Paleo-Altitudes of Tibetan Plateau and Environment(PATE)', as well as the other relating projects have focused on multidisciplinary research approaches and emphasized on three major pathways: Eurasia-Indian plates collision on deep-Earth dynamics, uplit impact on Earth's mantle–crust dynamics, and contemporary interface on land surface and atmospheric dynamics. Our researches have taken in situ measurement as priority and developed several platforms of data acquisition and analysis, including the platforms of water-phase transformations, and ecosystem observations. Our ield investigations have been conducted to obtain data about stratum, paleontology, paleoenvironment, genetic diferentiation of animals and plants. We have developed conceptual and mathematical models for crust uplit formation, paleoclimate, glacial melt,water–air interface lux, vegetation climate, and soil erosion. We have also assessed the anthropogenic impacts on environment. 3Massive cranium from Harbin in northeastern China establishes a new Middle Pleistocene human lineage显示文摘It has recently become clear that several human lineages coexisted with Homo sapiens during the late Middle and Late Pleistocene.Here,we report an archaic human fossil that throws new light on debates concerning the diversification of the Homo genus and the origin of H.sapiens.The fossil was recovered in Harbin city in northeastern China,with a minimum uranium-series age of 146 ka.This cranium is one of the best preserved Middle Pleistocene human fossils.Its massive size,with a large cranial capacity(1,420 mL)falling in the range of modern humans,is combined with a mosaic of primitive and derived characters.It differs from all the other named Homo species by presenting a combination of features,such as long and low cranial vault,a wide and low face,large and almost square orbits,gently curved but massively developed supraorbital torus,flat and low cheekbones with a shallow canine fossa,and a shallow palate with thick alveolar bone supporting very large molars.The excellent preservation of the Harbin cranium advances our understanding of several less-complete late Middle Pleistocene fossils from China,which have been interpreted as local evolutionary intermediates between the earlier species Homo erectus and later H.sapiens.Phylogenetic analyses based on parsimony criteria and Bayesian tip-dating suggest that the Harbin cranium and some other Middle Pleistocene human fossils from China,such as those from Dali and Xiahe,form a third East Asian lineage,which is a part of the sister group of the H.sapiens lineage.Our analyses of such morphologically distinctive archaic human lineages from Asia,Europe,and Africa suggest that the diversification of the Homo genus may have had a much deeper timescale than previously presumed.Sympatric isolation of small populations combined with stochastic long-distance dispersals is the best fitting biogeographical model for interpreting the evolution of the Homo genus.Xijun Ni Qiang Ji Wensheng Wu Qingfeng Shao Yannan Ji Chi Zhang Lei Liang Junyi Ge Zhen Guo Jinhua Li Qiang Li Rainer Grun Chris Stringer 2021The Innovation2021,2,3:6
4Geochemical provenancing and direct dating of the Harbin archaic human cranium显示文摘As one of the most complete archaic human fossils,the Harbin cranium provides critical evidence for studying the diversification of the Homo genus and the origin of Homo sapiens.However,the unsystematic recovery of this cranium and a long and confused history since the discovery impede its accurate dating.Here,we carried out a series of geochemical analyses,including non-destructive X-ray fluorescence(XRF),rare earth elements(REE),and the Sr isotopes,to test the reported provenance of the Harbin cranium and get better stratigraphic constraints.The results show that the Harbin cranium has very similar XRF element distribution patterns,REE concentration patterns,and Sr isotopic compositions to those of the Middle Pleistocene-Holocene mammalian and human fossils recently recovered from the Harbin area.The sediments adhered in the nasal cavity of the Harbin cranium have a 87Sr/86Sr ratio of 0.711898,falling in the variation range measured in a core drilled near the Dongjiang Bridge,where the cranium was discovered during its reconstruction.The regional stratigraphic correlations indicate that the Harbin cranium was probably from the upper part of the Upper Huangshan Formation of the Harbin area,which has an optically stimulated luminescence dating constraint between 138 and 309 ka.U-series disequilibrium dating(n=10)directly on the cranium suggests that the cranium is older than 146 ka.The multiple lines of evidence from our experiments consistently support the theory that the Harbin cranium is from the late Middle Pleistocene of the Harbin area.Our study also shows that geochemical approaches can provide reliable evidence for locating and dating unsystematically recovered human fossils,and potentially can be applied to other human fossils without clear provenance and stratigraphy records.Qingfeng Shao Junyi Ge Qiang Ji Jinhua Li Wensheng Wu Yannan Ji Tao Zhan Chi Zhang Qiang Li Rainer Grun Chris Stringer Xijun Ni 2021The Innovation2021,2,3:3
5Two-in-one solution using insect wings to produce graphene-graphite films for efficient electrocatalysis显示文摘Natural organisms contain rich elements and naturally optimized smart structures,both of which have inspired various innovative concepts and desig ns in human society.In particular,several natural organisms have been used as element sources to synthesize low-cost and environmentally friendly electrocatalysts for the oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)in fuel cells and metal-air batteries,which are clean energy devices.However,to date,no naturally optimized smart structures have been employed in the synthesis of ORR catalysts,including graphene-based materials.Here,we demonstrate a novel strategy to synthesize graphene-graphite films(GGFs)by heating butterfly wings coated with FeCI3 in N2,in which the full power of natural organisms is utilized.The wings work not only as an element source for GGF generation but also as a porous supporting structure for effective nitrogen doping,two-dimensional spreading,and double-face exposure of the GGFs.These GGFs exhibit a half-wave potential of 0.942 V and a H2O2 yield of<0.07%for ORR electrocatalysis;these values are comparable to those for the best commercial Pt/C and all previously reported ORR catalysts in alkaline media.This two-in-one strategy is also successful with cicada and dragonfly wings,indicating that it is a universal,green,and cost-effective method for developing high-performance graphene-based materials.Huaiyu Li Lihan Zhang Long Li Chaowen Wu Yajiao Huo Ying Chen Xijun Liu Xiaoxing Ke Jun Luo Gustaaf Van Tendeloo 2019Nano Research2019,12,1:3

12Improving properties of fluxed iron ore pellets with high-silica by regulating liquid phase显示文摘With rapid development of the pellet production under the background of green development,high-quality iron concentrates were gradually exhausted;thus,using high-silica iron concentrates was expected to be a promising way to relieve resource pressure for pellet production.However,increasing the proportion of high-silica acid pellets into the furnace led to worse blast furnace slag,and the metallurgical properties of high-silica pellets were imperfect.To understand the reciprocal effects of basicity(CaO/SiO_(2))and MgO content on the properties of the high-silica pellets,the phase compositions and microstructure were investigated using X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscope,equipped with energy dispersive X-ray spectrometry.The results indicated that simply increasing MgO content from O to 2.50 wt.%could decrease the reduction swelling index,but the compressive strength rapidly declined due to the formation of magnesioferrite.However,adding CaO to 2.50 wt.%MgO pellets greatly improved the pellet qualities,which could be attributed to a substantial increase in the amount of high-melting-point silicate liquid phase.Yuan-bo Zhang Xijun Chen Zi-jian Su Shuo Liu Fang Chen Nan-yong Wu Tao Jiang 2022Journal of Iron and Steel Research(International)2022,29,9:1

15Heterostructured bimetallic phosphide nanowire arrays with latticetorsion interfaces for efficient overall water splitting显示文摘Designing cost-effective and high-efficiency electrocatalysts is critical to the water splitting performance during hydrogen generation.Herein,we have developed Fe_(2)P-Co_(2)P heterostructure nanowire arrays with excellent lattice torsions and grain boundaries for highly efficient water splitting.According to the microstructural investigations and theoretical calculations,the lattice torsion interface not only contributes to the exposure of more active sites but also effectively tunes the adsorption energy of hydrogen/oxygen intermediates via the accumulation of charge redistribution.As a result,the Fe_(2)P-Co_(2)P heterostructure nanowire array exhibits exceptional bifunctional catalytic activity with overpotentials of 65 and 198 mV at 10 mA cm^(-2) for hydrogen and oxygen evolution reactions,respectively.Moreover,the Fe_(2)P-Co_(2)P/NF-assembled electrolyzer can deliver 10 mA cm^(-2) at an ultralow voltage of1.51 V while resulting in a high solar-to-hydrogen conversion efficiency of 19.8%in the solar-driven water electrolysis cell.Hua Zhang Hongyi Li Yintang Zhou Fang Tan Ruijie Dai Xijun Liu Guangzhi Hu Laiming Jiang Anran Chen Renbing Wu 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,2:0

17Ionic Conductivity of Nano-LaF_3 Bulk Material at Room Temperature显示文摘Nanocrystalline powder of LaF3 was synthesized by a method of direct precipitation from water solution. Particle size and shape of LaF3 nanocrystalline powder was analysed with TEM. Particles were mainly spherical with narrow particle size distribution (10~20 nm). The average particle size analysed with XRD is 16.7 nm. Nano-LaF3 bulk material was prepared by compacting the powder to 1 GPa at room temperature and a vacuum of 10 -4 Pa. The ionic conductivity of nano-LaF3 bulk material was studied with complex impedance spectra at room temperature. The ionic conductivity of nano-LaF3 bulk material (1×10 -5 S·cm -1 ) at room temperature is significantly increased compared to that of single crystal LaF3 (1×10 -6 S·cm -1 ). 19Calculation Model and Allocation Strategy of Network Usage Charge for Peer-to-peer and Community-based Energy Transaction Market显示文摘The emergence of prosumers in distribution systems has enabled competitive electricity markets to transition from traditional hierarchical structures to more decentralized models such as peer-to-peer(P2P)and community-based(CB)energy transaction markets.However,the network usage charge(NUC)that prosumers pay to the electric power utility for network services is not adjusted to suit these energy transactions,which causes a reduction in revenue streams of the utility.In this study,we propose an NUC calculation method for P2P and CB transactions to address holistically economic and technical issues in transactive energy markets and distribution system operations,respectively.Based on the Nash bargaining(NB)theory,we formulate an NB problem for P2P and CB transactions to solve the conflicts of interest among prosumers,where the problem is further decomposed into two convex subproblems of social welfare maximization and payment bargaining.We then build the NUC calculation model by coupling the NB model and AC optimal power flow model.We also employ the Shapley value to allocate the NUC to consumers fairly for the NUC model of CB transactions.Finally,numerical studies on IEEE 15-bus and 123-bus distribution systems demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed NUC calculation method for P2P and CB transactions.Dong Han Lei Wu Xijun Ren Shiwei Xia 2023Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy2023,11,1:0
20Embryo Transfer by Surgical Method with Landrace as Receptor Sow显示文摘[Objective] The paper was to test the feasibility of embryo transfer technique in pig production. [Method] Twenty-four estrus multiparity Landrace sows provided by Longjing Agricultural Science and Technology Institute were performed embryo transfer surgery,and postoperative effects were observed. [Result]Totally 11 out of 24 receptor sows were pregnant; pregnant sows delivered 67 cloned piglets,and the average farrowing rate of sows was approximately 6 piglets/sow.There were 22 mortalities of newborn piglets because of various reasons.
