2Function of Ca^(2+)-/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase Ⅳ in Ca^(2+)-stimulated neuronal signaling and behavior显示文摘The activity of Ca2+/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase IV(Ca MKIV) is sensitive to activity-dependent changes in the level of intracellular Ca2+.Following neuronal stimulation,the activation of Ca MKIV may trigger synaptic modifications and transcriptional responses,both of which are involved in regulating cognitive and emotional behavior.Here,we used Ca MKIV knockout(KO) neurons and mice to examine the function of Ca MKIV in Ca2+-stimulated intracellular signaling and animal behavior,respectively.Following NMDA receptor activation or membrane depolarization,the up-regulation of CREB(c AMP responsive element binding protein) and its target gene Bdnf(brain-derived neurotrophic factor) was intact in cortical neurons obtained from Ca MKIV KO mice.Ca MKIV KO mice displayed severe impairment in contextual fear memory but normal locomotor activity and anxiety level in the contextual training chamber.Although Ca MKIV KO mice showed normal memory in the standard passive avoidance task,they were defective in learning the temporal dissociative passive avoidance task.As indicated by the light/dark test and marble-burying test data,Ca MKIV KO mice showed less anxiety and normal perseveration.In the voluntary wheel-running test,Ca MKIV KO mice showed normal running time and distance but higher maximal running speed.Our results demonstrate the function of Ca MKIV in regulating different forms of fear memory,anxiety,and certain aspect of motor function.SONG ZiXiang CHEN Qi DING Qi ZHENG Fei LI ChengWei XU LePing WANG HongBing 2015Science China(Life Sciences)2015,58,1:6
3Preparation of Spherical FePO4 by Chemical Co-precipitation Combined with Spray-Drying显示文摘Well-shaped spherical agglomerates of FePO4 particles were prepared by a novel method:chemical co-precipitation combined with spray-drying.Tap density analysis,Brunauer-Emmett-Teller analysis,characterizations of X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy,and transmission electron microscopy confirmed that the micron-sized spherical agglomerates with high specific surface area and high tap density were composed of the uniform nano-sized particles.The effects of pH and reaction time on the morphology of the FePO4 particles were investigated by experimental and theoretical analyses.The analyses revealed that amorphous FePO4 was responsible for forming a well-shaped spherical agglomerate,and the ideal spherical particles were obtained at pH 3.The reaction time also played a significant role in controlling the size and surface morphology of the FePO4 particles,and smooth spherical FePO4 particles were obtained at a reaction time of 6 h.By this novel method,poly-porous spherical iron phosphate particles were prepared,which can be used with high efficiency in some special fields,especially as a precursor for synthesizing LiFePO4 and catalysts.Leping Dang Hongtao Zhang Xin Xu Xiaojun Lang 2020Transactions of Tianjin University2020,26,1:3
4Effects of Formulation Parameters and Process Variables on the Properties of Granules Obtained by Reactive Granulation显示文摘In this work, granulation between dodecyl-benzenesulfonic acid and sodium carbonate was investigated in a laboratory-scale high shear mixer. The effects offormulation parameters and process variables, including primary carbonate size, binder content, impeller speed, and operating temperature, were correlated to the properties ofthe product granules. Design ofexperiment and analysis ofvariance were combined to analyze the experimentaldata, and results showed that larger granule sizes with fewer fine particles can be obtained by employing higher binder contents and larger sodium carbonate sizes. The shear force ofthe impeller can extensively break oversized granules. The binder content exerted a contrasting effect on the flowability ofgranules formed with two kinds ofsodium carbonate, likely because ofdifferences in the liquid saturation ofthe solids. The dissolution rate determined by in-line size analysis showed that high binder contents were beneficialto dissolution performance, and the relationships between Hunter color and tested parameters were evaluated. 9Regime Map of Dry Neutralization Agglomeration Process Containing Non-Reactive Ingredient on a Laboratory Scale显示文摘This study described a regime map for dry neutralization agglomeration. Based on the map, the effects of selected key parameters, such as ingredient composition, operation temperature, agitation speed, and size of Na_2CO_3 particles, were investigated using a laboratory-scale mixer, and properties of the agglomeration product were analyzed, including particle size distribution, Hunter color, and flowability. Torque curves evolving during the process were correlated with the system flowability. Three distinguishable regimes were indicated, dry, wet, and transitional, and the agitation speed was found to have a different influence on the agglomeration process for the three regimes. 10Haploidentical hematopoietic stem cell transplantation may improve long-term survival for children with high-risk T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia in first complete remission显示文摘Background: The role of allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT) in children with high-risk (HR) T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL) in first complete remission (CR1) is still under evaluation. Moreover, relapse is the main factor affecting survival. This study aimed to explore the effect of allo-HSCT (especially haploidentical HSCT [haplo-HSCT]) on improving survival and reducing relapse for HR childhood T-ALL in CR1 and the prognostic factors of childhood T-ALL in order to identify who could benefit from HSCT.Methods: A total of 74 newly diagnosed pediatric T-ALL patients between January 1, 2012 and June 30, 2018 were enrolled in this retrospective study. Patients were stratified into the low-risk chemotherapy cohort (n = 16), HR chemotherapy cohort (n = 31), and HR transplant cohort (n = 27). Characteristics, survival outcomes, and prognostic factors of all patients were then analyzed.Results: Patient prognosis in the HR chemotherapy cohort was significantly worse than that in the low-risk chemotherapy cohort (5-year overall survival [OS]: 58.5%vs. 100%,P = 0.003;5-year event-free survival [EFS]: 54.1%vs. 83.4%,P = 0.010;5-year cumulative incidence of relapse [CIR]: 45.2%vs. 6.3%,P = 0.011). In HR patients, allo-HSCT improved the 5-year EFS and CIR compared to that of chemotherapy (5-year EFS: 80.1%vs. 54.1%,P = 0.041;5-year CIR: 11.6%vs. 45.2%,P = 0.006). The 5-year OS was higher in the HR transplant cohort than that in the HR chemotherapy cohort (81.0%vs. 58.5%,P = 0.084). 13Assessing environmental impact:Micro-energy network optimization in a Chinese industrial park显示文摘Micro-energy systems contribute significantly to environmental improvement by reducing dependence on power grids through the utilization of multiple renewable energy sources.This study quantified the environmental impact of a micro-energy network system in an industrial park through a life cycle assessment using the operation of the micro-energy network over a year as the functional unit and“cradle-to-gate”as the system boundary.Based on the baseline scenario,a natural gas generator set was added to replace central heating,and the light pipes were expanded to constitute the optimized scenario.The results showed that the key impact categories for both scenarios were global warming,fine particulate matter formation,human carcinogenic toxicity,and human non-carcinogenic toxicity.The overall environmental impact of the optimized scenario was reduced by 68%compared to the baseline scenario.A sensitivity analysis of the key factors showed that electricity from the power grid was the key impact factor in both scenarios,followed by central heating and natural gas.Therefore,to reduce the environmental impact of network systems,it is necessary to further optimize the grid power structure.The research approach can be used to optimize micro-energy networks and evaluate the environmental impact of different energy systems.Guanzhun Cao Chuan Feng Tong Li Hongjuan Zhang Xiaoyao Guo Wen Li Yanshuang Jia Leping Chen Yuan Xu Qingsong Wang Guifang Chen Xueliang Yuan 2024Chinese Journal of Population,Resources and Environment2024,22,1:0
14Microstructure and Hot Deformation Behavior of Mg-9Al-3Si-0.375Sr-0.78Y Alloy显示文摘Using Gleeble-3500 thermal simulator,the high temperature plastic deformation behavior and microstructure evolution of Mg-9Al-3Si-0.375Sr-0.78Y alloy are investigated at the temperature of 523 K?673 K and the strain rate of 10^(-3)s^(-1) 10 s^(-1).True strain-true stress curves show the characteristics of the typical dynamically recrystallization process.The Arrhenius constitutive equation of the hyperbolic model is established.The average activation energy and the strain rate sensitivity index are,respectively,221.578 kJ·mol^(-1) and 0.137.The result shows that theα-Mg phase exhibits dynamic recrystallization (DRX)characteristics obviously.But no DRX occurs in the β-Mg_(17)Al_(12) phase.Hot deformation does not affect the primary Mg_(2)Si phase.Under the conditions of low temperature (523 K?673 K) and high strain rate(1 s^(-1) 10 s^(-1)),the flow instability and macro-defects such as crack appear in the specimens.However,there are finer recrystallization grains.Under the conditions of high temperature(≥673 K)or low strain rate,the microstructure of the alloy shows good homogeneity.The size of the primary Mg_(2)Si phase is uniform,the size of the β-Mg_(17)Al_(12) phase is small,and the distribution of the β-Mg_(17)Al_(12) phase is uniform.CHEN Leping ZHANG Lianteng XU Yong ZHOU Quan 2022上海航天(中英文)2022,39,1:0
15Visualization of Wormlike Micelle Fluid Flow in a Mixing Tank显示文摘In this study,particle image velocimetry was applied to investigate flow fields of wormlike micelle(WLM) fluids in a mixing tank equipped with a four-blade,down-pumping,pitched blade turbine. First,the rheology of WLM fluids was investigated,and the Carreau model was utilized to describe their apparent viscosity. Then,the effects of the rotation speeds and rheological properties on the flow fields were studied using different WLM fluids at different rotation speeds. The results revealed that with increasing Reynolds number,the discharge angle decreases and the carven size increases. 16Abnormal glycosylated hemoglobin as a predictive factor for glucose metabolism disorders in antipsychotic treatment显示文摘The aim of this study was to observe the changes in glucose metabolism after antipsychotic(APS)therapy,to note the influencing factors,as well as to discuss the relationship between the occurrence of glucose metabolism disorders of APS origin and abnormal glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c)levels.One hundred and fifty-two patients with schizophrenia,whose fasting plasma glucose(FPG)and 2-h plasma glucose(2hPG)in the oral glucose tolerance test(2HPG)were normal,were grouped according to the HbA1c levels,one normal and the other abnormal,and were randomly enrolled into risperidone,clozapine and chlorpromazine treatment for six weeks.The FPG and 2hPG were measured at the baseline and at the end of the study.In the group with abnormal HbA1c and clozapine therapy,2HPG was higher after the study[(9.5±1.8)mmol/L]than that before the study[(7.2±1.4)mmol/L]and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).FPG had no statistically significant difference before and after the study in any group(P>0.05).HbA1c levels and drugs contributing to 2HPG at the end of study had statistical cross-action(P<0.01).In the abnormal HbA1c group,2HPG after the study was higher in the clozapine treatment group[(9.5±1.8)mmol/L]than in the risperidone treatment group[(7.4±1.7)mmol/L]and the chlorpromazine treatment group[(7.3±1.6)mmol/L].The differences were statistically significant(P<0.01).In the normal HbA1c group there was no statistically significant difference before and after the study in any group(P>0.05).2HPG before[(7.1±1.6)mmol/L]and after the study[(8.1±1.9)mmol/L]was higher in the abnormal HbA1c group than in the normal HbA1c group[(6.2±1.4)mmol/L vs(6.5±1.4)mmol/L]with the difference being statistically significant(P<0.01 vs P<0.001).As compared with normal HbA1c group,the relative risk(RR)of glucose metabolism disease occurrence was 4.7 in the abnormal HbA1c group with the difference being statistically significant(P<0.001).Patients with abnormal HbA1c are more likely to have a higher risk of having glucose metabolism disorders after APS treatment.XU Leping JI Juying DUAN Yiyang SHI Hui ZHANG Bin SHAO Yaqin SUN Jian 2007Frontiers of Medicine2007,1,3:0
17Carbon footprint accounting for cigar production processes: A life cycle assessment perspective显示文摘Although the tobacco industry is a significant contributor to energy consumption and carbon emissions its negative environmental impact has received inadequate attention globally.Cigarette factories are a key link in the tobacco industry’s production chain,and using data provided by a cigarette factory in China we conduct a life cycle assessment to account for the carbon footprint of cigar production in cigarette factories.The results of the assessment show that factory air conditioning is the most important contributor to the environmental load of the cigar manufacturing process,while electricity is the key factor that contributes the greatest envi‐ronmental load across all of the processes in the product life cycle.In addition,packaging,including small boxes and cigarette cartons,has a significant impact on the industry’s environmental footprint due to its use of raw materials.We find the carbon footprint of the entire production process for cigar products to be 383.59 kg CO_(2) eq.Based on our findings,we suggest ways to optimize cigar/cigarette factory processes to re‐duce carbon emissions that can help to promote sustainable development in related industries.Guanzhun Cao Xiaoyao Guo Chuan Feng Tong Li Feng Cui Yuan Xu Shuo Yang Qingsong Wang Leping Chen Xueliang Yuan Guifang Chen 2023Chinese Journal of Population,Resources and Environment2023,21,4:0
