1The heterogeneity of islet autoantibodies and the progression of islet failure in type 1 diabetic patients显示文摘Type 1 diabetes mellitus is heterogeneous in many facets. The patients suffered from type 1 diabetes present several levels of islet function as well as variable number and type of islet-specific autoantibodies. This study was to investigate prevalence and heterogeneity of the islet autoantibodies and clinical phenotypes of type 1 diabetes mellitus; and also discussed the process of islet failure and its risk factors in Chinese type 1 diabetic patients. A total of 1,291 type 1 diabetic patients were enrolled in this study. Demographic information was collected. Laboratory tests including mixed-meal tolerance test, human leukocyte antigen alleles, hemoglobin A1 c, lipids, thyroid function and islet autoantibodies were conducted. The frequency of islet-specific autoantibody in newly diagnosed T1 DM patients(duration shorter than half year) was 73% in East China. According to binary logistic regressions, autoantibody positivity, longer duration and lower Body Mass Index were the risk factors of islet failure. As the disease developed, autoantibodies against glutamic acid decarboxylase declined as well as the other two autoantibodies against zinc transporter 8 and islet antigen 2. The decrease of autoantibodies was positively correlated with aggressive beta cell destruction. Autoantibodies can facilitate the identification of classic T1 DM from other subtypes and predict the progression of islet failure. 2Crystalline behaviors and phase transition during the manufacture of fine denier PA6 fibers显示文摘Recently we have successfully produced fine denier PA6 fibers by using additives containing lanthanide compounds.Meanwhile,crystallization and phase transition of PA6 fibers during spinning and drawing processes were investigated.During the spinning process,β phase crystal could be obtained in as-spun PA6 fibers which were produced with relatively high melt draw ratio,while γ phase crystal predominated when the melt draw ratio was relatively low.β phase crystal,whose behaviors are similar with those of γ phase by FT-IR and XRD characterization,could be transformed to α form easily when PA6 fibers are immersed in boiling water.However,γ phase crystal of PA6 remains unchanged in boiling water.Thus,β and γ phase crystals of PA6 can be differentiated by the crystalline behaviors of PA6 fibers after treatment in boiling water.Further experiments demonstrate that the β phase can also be produced during a drawing process where a phase transformation from γ to α occurs.In other words,β phase may act as an intermediate state during the phase transformation.ZHANG ChengFeng LIU YuHai LIU ShaoXuan LI HuiZhen HUANG Kun PAN QingHua HUA XiaoHui HAO ChaoWei MA QingFang LV ChangYou LI WeiHong YANG ZhanLan ZHAO Ying WANG DuJin LAI GuoQiao JIANG JianXiong XU YiZhuang WU JinGuang 2009Science China Chemistry2009,52,11:4
3Extraordinary simultaneous enhancement of the coercivity and remanence of dual alloy HRE-free Nd-Fe-B sintered magnets by post-sinter annealing显示文摘Post-sinter annealing process plays an important role in the microstructures and magnetic properties of the Nd-Fe-B sintered magnets.In this paper,systematically investigated are the magnetic properties and microstructures of the as-sintered and post-sinter annealed Nd-Fe-B magnets with Pr-Fe-Ga boundary addition.Two choice consecutive annealing methods are adopted at high and low temperatures,namely the 1 st annealing at 880℃ for 2 h and then the 2^(nd) annealing at 440℃ for 3 h.It is exceptional to find out that both the remanence and coercivity are improved after 2^(nd) annealing process for this type of magnet.The coercivity is hugely increased from 10.09 kOe for the as-sintered sample to 17.19 kOe for the 2^(nd) annealed magnet,with a significant increment of 70.37%in coercivity.The extraordinary magnetic properties of B_(r)=14.44 kGs,H_(cj)=17.19 kOe and(BH)_(max)=51.08 MGOe are obtained for the designated Nd-Fe-B sintered magnets without heavy rare earth(HRE)elements manufactured by dual alloy method.The Curie temperature is monotonically decreased from 634 K to 602 K while the c-axis alignment degree is optimized after annealing.Microstructural observation and analysis indicate that the elemental distribution patterns are altered after the 2^(nd) annealing.The diffusion of the aggregate(Pr,Nd,Cu,Ga)-rich phase from triple junctions into the grain boundary regions is ascribed to the formation of thin and continuous grain boundary layer,which is critical to improve the microstructures and magnetic properties.Qingfang Huang Qingzheng Jiang Jifan Hu Sajjad Ur Rehman Gang Fu Qichen Quan Jixiang Huang Deqin Xu Dakun Chen Zhenchen Zhong 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,11:3

7Enhancement of terbium efficiency by gallium and copper co-doping in(Pr,Nd)-Fe-B sintered magnets显示文摘It is well known that Tb substitution for(Pr,Nd)in(Pr,Nd)-Fe-B based sintered magnetic materials is an effective way to increase intrinsic coercivity,but it is not quite clear whether the increment depends on the different matrix phases with various doping ingredient or not,which is essential to develop high quality magnets with high coercivity more efficiently and effectively with economic consumption of expensive Tb and other costly heavy rare earths.In this paper,we investigated the efficiency of Tb substitution for magnetic property in(Pr,Nd)-Fe-B sintered permanent magnets by co-doping Ga and Cu elements.It is shown that Ga and Cu co-doping can effectively improve the efficiency of Tb substitution to increase the thermal stability and the coercivity.The intrinsic coercivity increases up to 549 and 987 kA/m respectively by 1.5 wt%and 3.0 wt%Tb substitution in Ga and Cu co-doped magnets while the intrinsic coercivity increases up to only 334 and 613 kA/m respectively by the same amounts of Tb substitution in non-Ga and low-Cu magnets.In other words,it demonstrates that there is about 329-366 kA/m linear equivalent enhancement of intrinsic coercivity by 1.0 wt%Tb substitution for(Pr,Nd)in Ga and Cu co-doped magnets.The temperature coefficients of both intrinsic coercivityβand remanenceαat 20-150℃by 3.0 wt%Tb substitution for the magnets with Ga and Cu co-doping are-0.47%/K and-0.109%/K respectively,and in contrast those values are-0.52%/K and 0.116%/K respectively for the non-Ga and low-Cu magnets.It is the principal reason for more efficient enhancement of magnetic property by Tb substitution in the Ga and Cu co-doped magnets in which Tb atoms are expelled from triple junction phases(TJPs)to penetrate into the grain boundary phases(GB phases)and thus modify the grain boundary.It is prospected that the efficiency of Tb substitution would rely on different matrix phases with various doping constituents.Qingfang Huang Qingzheng Jiang Yao Shi Sajjad Ur Rehman Xing Wei Ruoshu Wang Yongjian Zhang Deqin Xu Dakun Chen Zhenchen Zhong 2023Journal of Rare Earths2023,41,4:0
8The chain-shaped coordination polymers based on the bowl-like Ln_(18)_(Ni24(23.5))clusters exhibiting favorable low-field magnetocaloric effect显示文摘The design of assembling high-nuclearity transition-lanthanide(3d-4f) clusters along with excellent magnetocaloric effect(MCE) is one of the most prominent fields but is extremely challenging. Herein, two heterometallic metal coordination polymers are constructed via the “carbonatetemplate” method, formulated as {[Gd_(18)Ni_(24)(IDA)_(22)(CO_(3))_(7)(μ_(3)-OH)_(32)(μ_(2)-OH)_(3)(H_(2)O)_(5)Cl]·Cl_(8)·(H_(2)O)_(14)}nand{[Eu_(18)Ni_(23.5)(IDA)_(22)(CO_(3)_(7)(μ_(3)-OH)_(32)(H_(2)O)_(5)(IN)(CH_(3)COO)_(2)(NH_(2)CH_(2)COO)Cl]·C_(l6)·(H_(2)O)_(17)}n[abbreviated as 1-(Gd_(18)Ni_(24))nand 2-(Eu_(18)Ni_(23.5))n respectively;H_(2)IDA = iminodiacetic acid;HIN = isonicotinic acid]. Concerning the structures, compounds 1-(Gd_(18)Ni_(24))nand 2-(Eu_(18)Ni_(23.5))nboth feature the one-dimensional(1D) chain-like structure which is rarely reported in high-nuclearity metal complexes. Meanwhile, the large presences of Gd3+ ions in compound 1-(Gd18Ni24)nare conducive to the fantastic MCE, and the value of-ΔS_(m)is 35.30 J kg^(-1)K^(-1) at 3.0 K and ΔH = 7.0 T. 9Graphene/SiC-coated textiles with excellent electromagnetic interference shielding,Joule heating,high-temperature resistance,and pressure-sensing performances显示文摘Multifunctional,wearable,and durable textiles integrated with smart electronics have attracted tremendous attention.However,it remains a great challenge to balance new functionalities with high-temperature stability.Herein,textile-based pressure sensors with excellent electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding,Joule heating,and high-temperature resistance were fabricated by constructing graphene/SiC(G/SiC)heterostructures on carbon cloth via laser chemical vapor deposition(LCVD).The resultant textiles exhibited excellent EMI efficiency of 74.2 dB with a thickness of 0.45 mm,Joule heating performance within a low working voltage(V)range of 1-3 V,and fast response time within 20 s.These properties arose from multiple reflections,interfacial polarization,and high conductivity due to the numerous amounts of nanoscale G/SiC heterostructures.More importantly,G/SiC/carbon fibers(CFs)demonstrated well high-temperature resistance with a heat resistance index(THri)of 380.2 C owing to the protection of a coating layer on the CFs upon oxidation.Meanwhile,the G/SiC/CFs presented good pressure-sensing performance with high sensitivity(S)of 52.93 kPal,fast response time of 85 ms,and a wide pressure range of up to 186 kPa.These features imply the potential of the G/SiC/CFs as efficient EMI shielding,electrical heater,and piezoresistive sensor textiles.Chongjie Wang Qingfang Xu Jinrong Hu Pengjan Lu Han Wu Bingian Guo Rong Tu Kai Liu Meijun Yang Song Zhang Bao-Wen Li Chuanbin Wang Lianmeng Zhang 2023Journal of Advanced Ceramics2023,12,4:0

11Three-Dimensional M-Shaped Resection for Nasal Alar Hypertrophy in Asian Patients显示文摘Background Nasal alarplasty is an important component of esthetic rhinoplasty in Asians.The two main surgical techniques that correct alar hypertrophy by reducing the height or length often leave external scars and are associated with a high relapse rate.Methods We developed a new technique,called three-dimensional(3D)M-shaped resection,which corrects both the nasal alar height and length and simultaneously minimizes external scarring.We performed this procedure from January 2013 to September 2016 in 49 consecutive female patients diagnosed with saddle nose and nasal alar hypertrophy.Their mean age was 28.6(range,18–40)years.All patients had previously undergone simple rhinoplasty.Nasal alar length and height,nostril length and width,and maximal nose width were analyzed preoperatively and postoperatively from photographs.Results After a mean of 9(range,3–24)months of follow-up,surgery was considered successful in 46 women(94%)with good cosmetic effects.In three patients,nasal alar hypertrophy recurred(6 months postoperatively).There were no early complications such as hematomas,infections,skin or mucosal necrosis,or wound dehiscence.The mean reductions postoperatively were 1.7 mm and 0.9 mm for nasal alar length and height,respectively,1.6 mm for both nostril length and width,and 3.5 mm for nose width.Conclusion The 3D M-shaped resection for nasal alar hypertrophy effectively reduced hypertrophy in 94%of patients for up to 24 months,producing minimal external scars and good cosmetic effects.It is a simple and convenient technique that is an effective and safe option for nasal alarplasty.Yiqing QIU Qingfang ZHAO Zhixiong CHEN Yichen SHEN Mengmeng LUO Qiaoyun QIU Jinghong XU 2021Chinese Journal Of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery2021,3,1:0
12Elimination of Voids at Interface of β-SiC Films and Si Substrate by Laser CVD显示文摘Void-free β-SiC films were deposited on Si(001) substrates by laser chemical vapor deposition using hexamethyldisilane(HMDS) as the precursor. The effect of the time of introducing HMDS, i e, the substrate temperature when HMDS introduced(T_(in)), on the preferred orientation, surface microstructure and void was investigated. The orientation of the deposited SiC films changed from <001> to random to <111> with increasing T_(in). The surface showed a layer-by-layer microstructure with voids above T_(in) ≥ 773 K, and then transformed into mosaic structure without voids at T_(in)= 298 K. The mechanism of the elimination of voids was discussed. 13Construction of Nanocarriers Based on Endogenous Cell Membrane and Their Application in Nanomedicine显示文摘Inspired by the adaptation of cells to the surrounding environment,the combination of cell membrane and nanomaterials has gradually become a new type of biomimetic nanocomposite.The construction of endogenous membrane biomimetic nanocarriers(EMBNs)not only retains the structure of membrane surface protein,but also has the properties of nanoparticles(NPs),also provides the ability of natural interaction between nanomaterials and organisms,thus overcoming the severe challenges faced by traditional nanodelivery systems in clinical application.In this paper,the construction methods of EMBNs are reviewed,focusing on a simple method to prepare membrane proteins.Secondly,EMBNs were classified according a variety of cell membranes.Finally,the unique advantages of EMBNs in nanomedicine are introduced,including improving biocompatibility,homologous targeting ability,prolonging blood circulation time and immune escape abilty.In nanomedicine,such as targeted delivery,phototherapy,immunotherapy and tumor imaging,multifaceted biological interfaces through membrane masking provide a new approach for the development of multifunctional NPs.Yingshu Guo Wenxin Li Shiwei Liu Dan Jing Yifan Wang Qingfang Feng Kaixiang Zhang Jing-Juan Xu 2022Chinese Journal of Chemistry2022,40,13:0
