1Milled flaxseed-added diets ameliorated hepatic inflammation by reducing gene expression of TLR4/NF-κB pathway and altered gut microbiota in STZ-induced type 1 diabetic mice显示文摘Flaxseed has displayed the potential beneficial as functional foods.However,most studies focused on effects of flaxseed extracts or ingredients in flaxseed.Besides,few studies showed that flaxseed extracts contributed to anti-type 1 diabetes(T1D),yet the underlying mechanism is still unknown.In the present study,16.7% of milled flaxseed(MF)-added diet was given to diabetic mice induced by streptozocin for 6 weeks.The results showed that MF feeding 1)slightly decreased blood glucose levels and improved the ability of glucose tolerance by oral glucose tolerance test,2)decreased liver tumor necrosis factor-αlevels and increased liver glycogen levels with significance via down-regulating TLR4/NF-κB pathways,3)and significantly altered some beneficial bacteria in gut microbiota.In conclusion,the present study showed that milled flaxseed showed the potential on anti-T1D through anti-inflammation via TLR4/NF-κB and altering the gut microbiota in STZ-induced diabetic mice.Hui Xia Xiangling Shi Beijia Zhou Jing Sui Chao Yang Hechun Liu Ligang Yang Shaokang Wang Guiju Sun 2022Food Science and Human Wellness2022,11,1:3
2Tuning exsolution of nanoparticles in defect engineered layered perovskite oxides for efficient CO_(2) electrolysis显示文摘Solid oxide electrolysis cell(SOEC) could be a potential technology to afford chemical storage of renewable electricity by converting water and carbon dioxide.In this work,we present the Ni-doped layered perovskite oxides,(La_(4)Sr_(n-4))_(0.9)Ti_(0.9n)Ni_(0.1n)O_(3n+2) with n=5,8,and 12(LSTNn) for application as catalysts of CO_(2) electrolysis with the exsolution of Ni nanoparticles through a simple in-situ growth method.It is found that the density,size,and distribution of exsolved Ni nanoparticles are determined by the number of n in LSTNn due to the different stack structures of TiO_6 octahedra along the c axis.The Ni doping in LSTNn significantly improved the electrochemical activity by increasing oxygen vacancies,and the Ni metallic nanoparticles afford much more active sites.The results show that LSTNn cathodes can successfully be manipulated the activity by controlling both the n number and Ni exsolution.Among these LSTNn(n=5,8,and 12),LSTN8 renders a higher activity for electrolysis of CO_(2) with a current density of 1.50A cm^(-2)@2.0 V at 800℃ It is clear from these results that the number of n in(La_(4)Sr_(n-4))_(0.9)Ti_(0.9n)Ni_(0.1n)O_(3n+2)with Ni-doping is a key factor in controlling the electrochemical performance and catalytic activity in SOEC.Zhengrong Liu Jun Zhou Yueyue Sun Xiangling Yue Jiaming Yang Lei Fu Qinyuan Deng Hongfei Zhao Chaofan Yin Kai Wu 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,9:1

7THE CONSTRUCTION OF HPV16-L1 RECOMBINANT PLASMID AND ITS EXPRESSION IN MAMMALIAN CELLS显示文摘Infection with high risk human papillomavirus is regarded as the major risk factor in the development of cervical cancer. In this study, HPV16 L1 eukaryotic expression plasmids pcDNA LI were constructed, which were transfected into mammalian cells Cos 7. The expression of HPV16 L1 in transfected cells were identified by in situ hybridization, immunospot and immunocytochemistry. HPV16 L1 mRNA transcription and L1 protein expression were found in recombinant plasmid transfected cells. 10Toxicity and bio-distribution of carbon dots after single inhalation exposure in vivo显示文摘Because of the advantages of excellent light stability, carbon dots(CDs) are considered to be a promising agent in the bio-marker application. Nevertheless, there are many unresolved issues with the toxicity of CDs in vitro and in vivo. In the study, CDs were synthesized by citric acid and ethylenediamine into deionized water, then the inhalation toxicity and bio-distribution of CDs in vivo were systematically assessed. The results showed that CDs caused animals death at higher dosages and induced injury in the lung and liver including inflammation and necrosis after single inhalation exposure at 5, 2 and 1 mg/kg dosages of the CDs. We also found that the injury increase with a dose-dependent and time-dependent manner. Fluorescent examination and TEM results showed that CDs mainly located at the lung and liver.And the fluorescent intensity increase with a time-dependent manner.
