1A proximal point algorithm revisit on the alternating direction method of multipliers显示文摘The alternating direction method of multipliers(ADMM)is a benchmark for solving convex programming problems with separable objective functions and linear constraints.In the literature it has been illustrated as an application of the proximal point algorithm(PPA)to the dual problem of the model under consideration.This paper shows that ADMM can also be regarded as an application of PPA to the primal model with a customized choice of the proximal parameter.This primal illustration of ADMM is thus complemental to its dual illustration in the literature.This PPA revisit on ADMM from the primal perspective also enables us to recover the generalized ADMM proposed by Eckstein and Bertsekas easily.A worst-case O(1/t)convergence rate in ergodic sense is established for a slight extension of Eckstein and Bertsekas’s generalized ADMM.CAI XingJu GU GuoYong HE BingSheng YUAN XiaoMing 2013Science China Mathematics2013,56,10:20
2改良面部损伤严重度评分法评价颌面部创伤1134例显示文摘目的 用损伤严重度评分 (ISS)法改良后得到的改良面部ISS(revisedfacialinjuryseverityscore ,RFISS)法评价 1134例颌面部创伤。 方法 将急诊入院的 1134例颌面部创伤病例依损伤部位分为颌面部单一伤 (A组 )、颌面部多处伤 (B组 )两组 ,用ISS法和RFISS法分析。 结果 ISS法和RFISS法都能判别A组与B组伤情严重度 ,两组比较 ,差异有非常显著性意义 (P <0 .0 1)。但RFISS更能将伤情严重程度显示出来。另外 ,在反映损伤处数方面 ,RFISS法也优于ISS法 (P <0 .0 1)。 结论 在颌面部损伤严重度研究中 ,RFISS法有效 ,且优于ISS法。葛成 何黎升 GU Xiaoming 顾晓明 周树夏 薄斌 2001中华创伤杂志2001,17,5:19
3Influence of catgut implantation at acupoints on leptin and insulin resistance in simple obesity rats显示文摘OBJECTIVES:To investigate the influence of catgut implantation at acupoints on leptin resistance(LR) and insulin resistance(IR) in the simple obesity rat.METHODS:Rats were made obese with high-fat diets,after which surgical catgut was implanted at Zusanli(ST 36) and Neiting(ST 44) acupoints once a week for 4 weeks(implantation group).Rats from the implantation group were compared with normal rats and unoperated obese rats(control group).Gene expression of the leptin receptor(OB-R) was evaluated using RT-PCR and northern blot.Serum and hypothalamus leptin and insulin(INS) levels were determined by radioimmunoassay.Body weight,Lee's index,body fat,serum and hypothalamus leptin and INS levels,and hypothalamic OB-R gene expression were determined before and after treatment.RESULTS:Body weights,Lee's index,body fat,and serum leptin and INS levels were significantly higher in obese than in normal rats.Hypothalamic leptin and INS levels and OB-R gene expression were significantly lower in obese rats.Catgut implantation at acupoint promoted weight loss and decreased serum leptin and INS levels.Hypothalamic leptin and INS levels and OB-R gene expression increased significantly.CONCLUSIONS:Catgut implantation at acupoint adjusts central and peripheral leptin and promotes hypothalamic OB-R gene expression.This may be an important method for regulation of LR,IR and abnormal endocrinology and metabolism.Runhu Yan Xiaoming Liu Jie Bai Jiang Yu Jinsong Gu 2012Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2012,32,3:12
4Integrated transcriptomic and metabolomic analyses of a wax deficient citrus mutant exhibiting jasmonic acid-mediated defense against fungal pathogens显示文摘Naturally,resistant crop germplasms are important resources for managing the issues of agricultural product safety and environment deterioration.We found a spontaneous mutant of‘Newhall’navel orange(Citrus sinensis Osbeck)(MT)with broad-spectrum protections against fungal pathogens in the orchard,postharvest-storage,and artificial inoculation conditions.To understand the defense mechanism of MT fruit,we constructed a genome-scale metabolic network that integrated metabolome and transcriptome datasets.The coordinated transcriptomic and metabolic data were enriched in two sub-networks,showing the decrease in very long chain fatty acid(by 41.53%)and cuticular wax synthesis(by 81.34%),and increase in the synthesis of jasmonic acid(JA)(by 95.23%)and JA-induced metabolites such as 5-dimethylnobietin(by 28.37%)in MT.Furthermore,cytological and biochemical analyses confirmed that the response to fungal infection in MT was independent of wax deficiency and was correlated with the levels of jasmonates,and the expression of plant defensin gene PDF1.2.Results of exogenous application of MeJA and JA inhibitors such as propyl gallate proved that JA-mediated defense contributes to the strong tolerance against pathogens in MT.Our results indicated that jasmonate biosynthesis and signaling are stimulated by the fatty acid redirection of MT,and participate in the tolerance of pathogenic fungi.Yizhong He Jingwen Han Runsheng Liu Yuduan Ding Jinqiu Wang Li Sun Xiaoming Yang Yunliu Zeng Weiwei Wen Juan Xu Hongming Zhang Xiang Yan Zhaoxing Chen Zuliang Gu Hong Chen Huanqing Tang Xiuxin Deng Yunjiang Cheng 2018Horticulture Research2018,5,1:8

7A comparative study of proliferation and osteogenic differentiation of rat adipose-derived stem cells in β-tricalcium phosphate (β-TCP), forsterite (Mg_2SiO_4 ) and clinoenstatite (MgSiO_3)显示文摘In this study, the effects of forsterite and clinoenstatite powder extracts on the proliferation and osteogenic differentiation of rat adipose-derived stem cells (ASCs) were investigated and compared with the β-tricalcium phosphate (β-TCP) powder extracts. Methylthiazolyldiphenyl-tetrazolium bromide (MTT) assay and live-dead staining were performed to evaluate the viability and proliferation of rat ASCs. Osteogenic differentiation of rat ASCs were assayed by alkaline phosphatase (ALP) staining and ALP activity test. The expression of osteogenic marker genes (alkaline phosphatase (ALP), runt related transcription factor 2 (Runx2), collagen type Iα1 (Col1α1), secreted phosphoprotein1 (Spp1, osteopontin), integrin binding sialoprotein (Ibsp), bone gla protein (Bglap)) were detected by real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR). The MTT assay and the live-dead staining showed that all the three ceramics possessed good cytocompatibility with rat ASCs. Furthermore, forsterite and clinoenstatite promoted the proliferation of rat ASCs compared with β-TCP. The results of the ALP activity test and the real-time PCR demonstrated that forsterite and clinoenstatite promoted the osteogenic differentiation of rat ASCs. 13Predicting Tie Strength of Chinese Guanxi by Using Big Data of Social Networks显示文摘This paper poses a question:How many types of social relations can be categorized in the Chinese context?In social networks,the calculation of tie strength can better represent the degree of intimacy of the relationship between nodes,rather than just indicating whether the link exists or not.Previou research suggests that Granovetter measures tie strength so as to distinguish strong ties from weak ties,and the Dunbar circle theory may offer a plausible approach to calculating 5 types of relations according to interaction frequency via unsupervised learning(e.g.,clustering interactive data between users in Facebook and Twitter).In this paper,we differentiate the layers of an ego-centered network by measuring the different dimensions of user's online interaction data based on the Dunbar circle theory.To label the types of Chinese guanxi,we conduct a survey to collect the ground truth from the real world and link this survey data to big data collected from a widely used social network platform in China.After repeating the Dunbar experiments,we modify our computing methods and indicators computed from big data in order to have a model best fit for the ground truth.At the same time,a comprehensive set of effective predictors are selected to have a dialogue with existing theories of tie strength.Eventually,by combining Guanxi theory with Dunbar circle studies,four types of guanxi are found to represent a four-layer model of a Chinese ego-centered network.Xin Gao Jar-Der Luo Kunhao Yang Xiaoming Fu Loring Liu Weiwei Gu 2020Journal of Social Computing2020,1,1:1

17The biogeographical distribution of tree species-abundance and its relation to climatic factors in mass islands显示文摘Tree species-abundance in forests is a function of geographical area and climate, although it is not clear whether such relationships apply to mass islands. We examined the spatial pattern of tree species in mass islands along the coast of Zhejiang, East China Sea using the Preston model, to identify the relationships between tree communities and climatic conditions. The results show that:(1) the biogeographical distribution of tree species-abundance conformes to Preston's log-normal pattern, and is in accordance with the findings in both tropical rainforests and estuarine forests;(2) the climatic factors related to tree communities in mass islands are similar to that of the subtropical zone, including the major species of evergreen needle-leaf, broad-leaf and deciduous broad-leaf forests. 18Research progress in urinary tract infection and its therapeutic drugs显示文摘Objective: The objective of this study was to understand the pathological mechanism and therapeutic progress in the study of urinary tract infections to provide references for clinical diagnosis and identification and development of therapeutic drugs.Methods: We summarized the types, pathological mechanisms, and therapeutic drugs for urinary tract infections on the basis of recent publications on these infections, both domestic and abroad.Results and conclusions: Urinary tract infection is mainly caused by pathogenic bacterial infection and treated by targeting bacterial adhesion, bacterial toxin, protease, urease, and siderophores, as well as using pili as vaccines and small-molecule drugs. Vaccines that target bacterial adhesion can block well the interaction between pathogens and the body, thereby reducing the incidence of urinary tract infections. The clinical efficacy of vaccines targeting bacterial toxins and proteases needs further evaluation. Vaccines targeting iron carriers retard disease progression and attenuate bacterial colonization. Urease-targeted small-molecule drugs exhibit certain curative effects and serious side effects. Small pili-targeted drugs can prevent and treat urinary tract infections by blocking the colonization and invasion of pathogens in animal models of urinary tract infections on the bladder. Adhesive FimH antibodies have entered Phase Ⅰ clinical trials. However, pilicides, mannosides, and vaccines that target pili, iron carriers, and other virulence factors are still in the experimental or preclinical stages of research.Xiaoming Gu 2018国际感染病学(电子版)2018,7,2:1
