1QTL mapping for grain number per spikelet in wheat using a high-density genetic map显示文摘Grain number per spikelet (GNS) is a key determinant of grain yield in wheat.A recombinant inbred line population comprising 300 lines was developed from a cross between a high GNS variety H461 and Chinese Spring from which the reference genome assembly of bread wheat was obtained.Both parents and the recombinant inbred lines were genotyped using the wheat 55K single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP) array.A high-density genetic map containing 21,197 SNPs was obtained.These markers covered each of the 21 chromosomes with a total linkage distance of 3792.71 c M.Locations of these markers in this linkage map were highly consistent with their physical locations in the genome assembly of Chinese Spring.The two parents and the whole RIL population were assessed for GNS in two consecutive years at two different locations.Based on multi-environment phenotype data and best liner unbiased prediction values,three quantitative trait loci (QTL) for GNS were identified.One of them located on chromosomes 2B and the other two on 2D.Phenotypic variation explained by these loci varied from 3.07%to26.57%.One of these QTL,QGns.sicau-2D-2,was identified in each of all trials conducted.Based on the best linear unbiased prediction values,this locus explained 19.59%–26.57%of phenotypic variation.A KASP(Kompetitive Allele-Specific PCR) marker closely linked with this locus was generated and used to validate the effects of this locus in three different genetic backgrounds.The identified QTL and the KASP marker developed for it will be highly valuable in fine-mapping the locus and in exploiting it for markerassisted selection in wheat breeding programs.Yu Lin Xiaojun Jiang Haiyan Hu Kunyu Zhou Qing Wang Shifan Yu Xilan Yang Zhiqiang Wang Fangkun Wu Shihang Liu Caixia Li Mei Deng Jian Ma Guangdeng Chen Yuming Wei Youliang Zheng Yaxi Liu 2021The Crop Journal2021,9,5:4
2Highway constructions on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau:Challenge,research and practice显示文摘Highway constructions on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau(QTP)face great challenges induced by the unique local environmental,geological,and engineering conditions.The large area of permafrost,great temperature variability,strong UV rays,and complex geological conditions are the major factors that adversely influence the longterm performance of pavement systems.Since 1960s,Chinese engineers and researchers have started conducting research on the QTP to enhance the performance and durability of pavement systems.The present paper provide a comprehensive review of challenge,research and practice of highway constructions on the QTP including the special environmental and geological conditions,history of highway constructions on the QTP,major challenges and the state-of-the-art technology of subgrade constructions on permafrost,developments of the pavement structures and materials,performance prediction and maintenance methods of pavement surfaces,and applications of the research achievements on the first expressway on the QTP(i.e.,Gongyu Expressway).Based on the comprehensive literature review,it can be found that(1)frost heave and thaw weakening induced subgrade disease and longitudinal cracks on the pavement surface are complex coupled water-thermal-load problems.Engineering solutions are focusing on active cooling and thermal insulation methods,which can help to reduce temperature variations in the subgrade and thus improving its stability,(2)the harsh environmental and construction conditions may reduce the early strength and induce premature damage of cement-treated base materials.Some field validations showed that geocell-reinforced or asphalt-treated flexible base materials can provide better long-term performance,(3)the large temperature variability and strong UV rays can significantly accelerate aging of asphalt binders and greatly reduce the service life of asphalt mixtures.Various binder modification methods were developed for improving their viscoelasticity and enhance the low-temperature cracking resistance of pavement surface materials but are still lack of field validation data and comparisons of their life cycle costs.Therefore,it is recommended that a demonstration research project build test sections to examine a range of pavement structures and materials,and compare their long-term performance and life cycle costs,which can serve as important reference for future highway constructions on the QTP.Aimin Sha Biao Ma Hainian Wang Liqun Hu Xuesong Mao Xilan Zhi Huaxin Chen Yu Liu Feng Ma Zhuangzhuang Liu Rui He Wei Si Xuhao Wang Cheng Li 2022Journal of Road Engineering2022,2,1:4
3Recent advances and perspectives for Zn-based batteries:Zn anode and electrolyte显示文摘Zn-based batteries have attracted extensive attention due to their high theoretical energy density,safety,abundant resources,environmental friendliness,and low cost.They are a new energy storage and conversion technology with significant development potential and have been widely used in renewable energy and portable electronic devices.Considerable attempts have been devoted to improving the performance of Zn-based batteries.Specifically,battery cycle life and energy efficiency can be improved by electrolyte modification and the construction of highly efficient rechargeable Zn anodes.This review compiles the progress of the research related to Zn anodes and electrolytes,especially in the last five years.This review will introduce fundamental concepts,summarize recent development,and inspire further systematic research for high-performance Zn-based batteries in the future.Huaiyun Ge Xilan Feng Dapeng Liu Yu Zhang 2023Nano Research Energy2023,2,1:3
4Controllable magnetic properties of cobalt ferrite particles derived from layered double hydroxide precursors显示文摘Cobalt ferrite Co x Ni 1-x Fe 2 O 4 (x = 0, 0.5, 1) particles with controllable magnetic properties have been pre- pared by calcination of co-substituted NiFe 2+ Fe 3+ -layered double hydroxide (NiFe 2+ Fe 3+ -LDH) precursors prepared via a scalable method involving separate nucleation and aging steps (SNAS). Their structural and magnetic characteristics were investigated by powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and vibrating sample magnetometry (VSM). Measurements of magnetic properties show that the saturation magnetization (M s ) and coercivity (H c ) of the calcined products increased with increasing cobalt content. The LDH precursor-based product obtained by calcination of a mixture of CoFe 2+ Fe 3+ -LDH and NiFe 2+ Fe 3+ -LDH powders with a Co/Ni molar ratio of 1:1, exhibits a moderate value of M s and an increased value of H c compared to the corresponding values for an Ni 0.5 Co 0.5 Fe 2 O 4 material prepared by calcination of a Co 0.5 Ni 0.5 Fe 2+ Fe 3+ -LDH precursor, and a physical mixture of CoFe 2 O 4 and NiFe 2 O 4 with a Co/Ni molar ratio of 1:1. 10Ru Nanoparticles Supported on Co-Embedded N-Doped Carbon Nanotubes as Efficient Electrocatalysts for Hydrogen Evolution in Basic Media显示文摘A challenging but urgent task is to construct efficient and robust hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)electrocatalysts for practically feasible and sustainable hydrogen production through alkaline water electrolysis.Herein we report a simple and mild pyrolysis method to synthesize the efficient Ru nanoparticles(NPs) supported on Co-embedded N-doped carbon nanotubes(Ru/Co-NCNTs)catalyst for HER in basic media.The Ru/Co-NCNTs display remarkable performance with a low overpotential of only 35mV at 10mA/cm^2,a small Tafel slope(36mV/dec),and a high mass activity in 1mol/L KOH,which is superior to commercial 20% Pt/C catalyst.This excellent performance is benefited from the enhanced conductivity of N-doped carbon nanotubes(NCNTs)and high intrinsic activity triggered by synergistic coupling between Ru NPs and Co-embedded N-doped carbon nanotubes(Co-NCNTs).YAN Baolin LIU Dapeng FENG Xilan SHAO Mingzhe ZHANG Yu 2020Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2020,36,3:0
11Mycobacteriaceae Phenome Atlas(MPA):A Standardized Atlas for the Mycobacteriaceae Phenome Based on Heterogeneous Sources显示文摘The bacterial family Mycobacteriaceae includes pathogenic and nonpathogenic bacteria,and systematic research on their genome and phenome can give comprehensive perspectives for exploring their disease mechanism.In this study,the pheno-types of Mycobacteriaceae were inferred from available phenomic data,and 82 microbial phenotypic traits were recruited as data elements of the microbial phenome.This Mycobacteriaceae phenome contains five categories and 20 subcategories of polyphasic phenotypes,and three categories and eight subcategories of functional phenotypes,all of which are complemen-tary to the existing data standards of microbial phenotypes.The phenomic data of Mycobacteriaceae strains were compiled by literature mining,third-party database integration,and bioinformatics annotation.The phenotypes were searchable and comparable from the website of the Mycobacteriaceae Phenome Atlas(MPA,http://gffzz9fa96046bf0d4f3esqvcpbqxvkk9w6onn.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn no.org/mpa/).A topological data analysis of MPA revealed the co-evolution between Mycobacterium tuberculosis and virulence factors,and uncovered potential pathogenicity-associated phenotypes.Two hundred and sixty potential pathogen-enriched pathways were found by Fisher's exact test.The application of MPA may provide novel insights into the pathogenicity mechanism and antimicrobial targets of Mycobacteriaceae.Wan Liu Hui Cen Zhile Wu Haokui Zhou Shuo Chen Xilan Yang Guoping Zhao Guoqing Zhang 2023Phenomics2023,3,5:0
