2Influence of moisture on the growth and biomass allocation in Haloxylon ammodendron and Tamarix ramosissima seedlings in the shelterbelt along the Tarim Desert Highway, Xinjiang, China显示文摘The authors studied the effects using three different levels of irrigation on the growth and biomass allocation in H. ammodendron and T. ramosissima seedlings in the shelterbelt along the Tarim Desert Highway. The three irrigation amounts were 35 (CK), 24.5 (treatment 1), and 14 (treatment 2) kg·ind. plant-1·once-1, respectively. The results show that (1) the vertical depth of the two seedlings’ root increased with lower levels of irrigation showing that the two species adapted to decreased irrigation by root elongation in the hinterland of the Taklimakan Desert, and the vertical root depth of H. ammodendron under treatment 2 was notably higher than CK. (2) Compared with CK, the belowground biomass of treatment 1 and 2 both showed a significant increase as follows: H. ammodendron seedlings in- creased by 14.51% and 37.03% under treatment 1 and 2, respectively, while T. ramosissima seedlings increased by 68.19% and 25.78% under treatment 1 and 2, respectively. This means that H. ammoden- dron seedlings were more adapted to the conditions in treatment 2 while T. ramosissima seedlings were better adapted to treatment 1 conditions. (3) When compared with CK, the fine root bomass of these two species all exhibited some increase under both treatments, and ANOVA analysis showed that the biomass of deep layer root of the two species under treatment 2 was notably higher than CK and treatment 1. This should help seedlings to more effectively absorb soil water from deep layers during dry conditions. (4) The root-shoot ratio was different for these two species. For H. ammodendron seed- lings, the root-shoot ratio was less than 1, while for T. ramosissim seedlings it was larger than 1. The root-shoot ratio of H. ammodendron seedlings increased with decreasing levels of irrigation, and that of T. ramosissim seedlings also increased under treatment 2. 3CT image fusion in the evaluation of radiation treatment planning for non-small cell lung cancer显示文摘Objective: We studied the application of CT image fusion in the evaluation of radiation treatment planning for non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Methods: Eleven patients with NSCLC, who were treated with three-dimensional con-formal radiation therapy, were studied. Each patient underwent twice sequential planning CT scan, i.e., at pre-treatment, and at mid-treatment for field reduction planning. Three treatment plans were established in each patient: treatment plan A was based on the pre-treatment planning CT scans for the first course of treatment, plan B on the mid-treatment planning CT scans for the second course of treatment, and treatment plan F on the fused images for the whole treatment. The irradiation doses received by organs at risk in the whole treatment with treatment A and B plans were estimated by the plus of the parameters in treatment plan A and B, assuming that the parameters involve the different tissues (i.e. V20=AV20+BV20), or the same tissues within an organ (i.e. Dmax=ADmax+BDmax). The assessment parameters in the treatment plan F were calculated on the basis of the DVH of the whole treatment. Then the above assessment results were compared. Results: There were marked differ-ences between the assessment results derived from the plus of assessment parameters in treatment plan A and B, and the ones derived from treatment plan F. Conclusion: When a treatment plan is altered during the course of radiation treatment, image fusion technique should be performed in the establishment of a new one. 4Multi-quasiparticle rotational bands in neutron-rich erbium isotopes显示文摘Multi-quasiparticle states and rotational bands in neutron-rich erbium isotopes have been investigated by the configuration-constrained pairing-deformation-frequency self-consistent total-Routhian-surface (TRS) method with particle-number-conserved pairing. Specifically, the recently observed Kn=4-bands in 168,170,172 Er have been found to experience a configuration change in our calculation. Some other multi-quasiparticle states with uncertain configuration assignments have been reinvestigated by calculating their collective rotations. 6Plants water status of the shelterbelt along the Tarim Desert Highway显示文摘The plant water consumption and irrigation management are the core issue of the sustainable growing of the Tarim Desert Highway shelterbelt in the hyperaride Taklimakan Desert. The stem sap flow, water status and water consumption of shelterbelt plants were studied, then, the issue of the water save in the process of shelterbelt irrigation management was discussed by measuring the sap flow of shelterbelt plants with a stem sap flow gauge. The stem sap flow exhibited a distinct diurnal course with maximum values between 10:00 and 15:00, and minimum values between 00:00 and 03:00. Generally, sap flow was lower at night than during the day. The daily average stem sap flow of Calligonum arborescens, Tamarix ramosissima and Haloxylon ammodendron (diameter 1.9―2.0 cm) was 67.2 g·h-1, 77.05 g·h-1 and 61.54 g·h-1 respectively. The sap flow was influenced by environmental factors, and the solar radiation, wind velocity, temperature and relative humidity were significantly correlative with plant stem sap flow. The annual water consumption of 8-a Calligonum arborescens, Tamarix ramosissima and Haloxylon ammodendron was 1937.80 kg, 1253.39 kg and 1026.96 kg, while daily average water consumption was 9.69 kg, 6.27 kg and 5.13 kg respectively. Under drip irrigation, soil moisture content of the shelterbelt in different months indicated no obvious fluctuation, and soil moisture was adequate. The predawn and midday plant water potential reflected that the plant water status was in good conditions. 9A new lever-type variable friction damper for freight bogies used in heavy haul railway显示文摘To overcome defects caused by the complex structure and unstable damping performance of the wedgetype damper, a new lever-type friction damper has been developed for use in freight bogies; the design allows the advantages of traditional three-piece bogies to be retained.A detailed description of the structure and mechanism of the lever-type damper is provided, followed by a stress analysis using the finite element method. Dynamic performance characteristics of the lever-type damper and the wedge-type damper are compared in terms of the nonlinear critical speed, riding index, and curve negotiation. The results indicate that the maximum stress of the lever remains below its yield limit. 10Mechanisms of radioresistance in hepatocellular carcinoma显示文摘Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC), one of the most common cancers in the world, is characterized by poor prognosis and recurrence after resection. Its prevalence is highest in developing countries, particularly where there is high incidence of hepatitis B virus infection. Several curative treatments are available for early stage HCC; however, these options are not available for advanced disease. New techniques allowing the specific delivery of high-dose radiotherapy enable their use in the treatment of HCC, which has been avoided in the past due to low hepatic tolerance for radiation. This presents a new challenge—the development of resistance to radiotherapy and subsequent disease recurrence. Recently, the mechanisms controlling radioresistance have begun to be elucidated. 13Trans-cinnamaldehyde promotes nitric oxide release via the protein kinase-B/v-Akt murine thymoma viral oncogene-endothelial nitric oxide synthase pathway to alleviate hypertension in SHR.Cg-Lepr^(cp)/NDmcr rats显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To evaluate whether endothelial dysfunction and hypertension are prevented by trans-cinnamaldehyde(t CA) through the activation of endothelial nitric oxide synthase(e NOS).METHODS:Human umbilical vein endothelial cells(HUVECs) were cultured in vitro and stimulated with t CA to determine cell viability using the methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium assay.The effect of t CA on nitric oxide(NO) production was determined by diaminofluorescein-dyes in the absence or presence of inhibitors of e NOS,AMPK,PKA,and AKT.The effect of t CA on blood pressure was determined by the tail-cuff method in obesity spontaneous hypertension(SHR.Cg-Leprcp/NDmcr) rats.The phosphorylation of e NOS and protein expression of the insulin-signaling pathway(Ins R-IRS1-PI3 K-AKT)were measured by western blot.RESULTS:t CA at concentrations less than 100 μM did not affect cell viability in cultured HUVECs.Stimulation with t CA promoted NO release in a time-dependent manner compared with the control group.t CA-treated HUVECs also significantly increased AKT-Ser473 and e NOS-Ser1177 phosphorylation.In SHR-CP rats,treatment with t CA at a dose of 40 mg/kg/day for 6 weeks markedly reduced the systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure,increased the phosphorylation of AKT and e NOS,and increased urinary nitric oxidation.CONCLUSION:t CA attenuated endothelial dysfunction and reduced blood pressure in SHR-CP rats.The underlying mechanisms may involve the increase in AKT and e NOS phosphorylation and the release of e NOS-derived NO.Zhang Lu Wu Lili Liu Ximing Yoshitomi Hisae Ikeda Katsumi Negishi Hiroko Pan Yajing Sun Wen Qin Lingling Li Juan-E Xu Tunhai Liu Tonghua Gao Ming 2018Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2018,38,4:2

15脂代谢紊乱及脂质过氧化与结肠腺瘤恶变的关系(英文)显示文摘Objective:The aim of this study was to investigate lipid disorders and lipid peroxidation associated with the malignant transformation of colorectal adenoma.Methods:Analyses were based on data from 100 subjects with histologically confirmed adenomas(cases) and 50 adenoma-free control subjects,all of whom had colonoscopy.The subjects were divided into two groups:those with no adenoma and those with adenoma.According to subsite of adenomas the subjects with adenoma were divided into group of distal adenoma and group of proximal adenoma.According to histology of adenomas the subjects with adenoma were divided into group of villiform adenoma and group of tubular + tubulo-villous adenoma.Among the groups,the serum levels of triglyceride(TG),total cholesterol(TC),high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),lowdensity lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),and lipid peroxidation product malondialdehyde(MDA) were compared in all the patients.Results:Plasma total cholesterol and MDA level in group of adenomas were significantly higher than that in group of control subjects,but plasma HDL-C level was low in group of adenomas(P<0.05).Plasma total cholesterol and MDA levels were positively related to distal and villiform adenomas(P<0.05).Conclusion:The findings suggest that altered lipid metabolism may be differentially associated with colorectal adenomas.Didi Tao Zhongyin Zhou Ximing Xu Hesheng Luo 2011The Chinese-German Journal of Clinical Oncology2011,10,5:1
