1Genome Warehouse: A Public Repository Housing Genome-scale Data显示文摘The Genome Warehouse(GWH)is a public repository housing genome assembly data for a wide range of species and delivering a series of web services for genome data submission,storage,release,and sharing.As one of the core resources in the National Genomics Data Center(NGDC),part of the China National Center for Bioinformation(CNCB;http://gffzz77e3413bc06540edsv0v9kc9b9ufq6uu6.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn),GWH accepts both full and partial(chloroplast,mitochondrion,and plasmid)genome sequences with different assembly levels,as well as an update of existing genome assemblies.For each assembly,GWH collects detailed genome-related metadata of biological project,biological sample,and genome assembly,in addition to genome sequence and annotation.To archive high-quality genome sequences and annotations,GWH is equipped with a uniform and standardized procedure for quality control.Besides basic browse and search functionalities,all released genome sequences and annotations can be visualized with JBrowse.By May 21,2021,GWH has received 19,124 direct submissions covering a diversity of 1108 species and has released 8772 of them.Collectively,GWH serves as an important resource for genomescale data management and provides free and publicly accessible data to support research activities throughout the world.GWH is publicly accessible at http://gffzz77e3413bc06540edsv0v9kc9b9ufq6uu6.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/gwh.Meili Chen Yingke Ma Song Wu Xinchang Zheng Hongen Kang Jian Sang Xingjian Xu Lili Hao Zhaohua Li Zheng Gong Jingfa Xiao Zhang Zhang Wenming Zhao Yiming Bao 2021Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2021,19,4:12

3Spatial calculating analysis model research of land-use change in urban fringe districts显示文摘The spatial calculating analysis model is based on GIS overlay. It compartmental-izes the research district land into three spatial parts: unchanged part,converted part and increased part. By this method we can evaluate the numerical model and dynamic degree model for existing calculating changing speed of land-use. Fur-thermore the paper raises reviving the calculating analysis model of spatial infor-mation in order to predict the dynamic changing level of all sorts of land. More concretely speaking,the model is mainly to know the changing area and changing speed (increased or decreased) of different land classifications from the micro-cosmic angle and to clearly show the spatial distribution and spatio-temporal law for changing urban lands. We discover why the situation has taken place by com-bining social and economic conditions. The result indicates that the calculating analysis model of spatial information can derive more accurate procedure of spatial transference and increase of all kinds of land from the microcosmic angle. By this model and technology,we can make the research of spatio-temporal structure evolution in land-use be more systematical and deeper. 5Assessment of the fused image of multispectral and panchromatic images of SPOT5 in the investigation of geological hazards显示文摘The investigated area in this paper is located on the northern mountain in Guangzhou City.It is characterized by high relief and inaccessibility.Multispectral and pan Images of SPOT5 were used as the remote sensing data source,and high-pass filtering(HPF),Brovery transform(BT),intensity-hue-saturation(IHS),principal component analysis(PCA) and the modified IHS(MIHS) methods were adopted for image fusion.Here,a comparison has been made between the entire fused images and the original multispectral images.Subjective evaluation and objective evaluation(entropy,average gradient,correlation coefficient,distribution of gray) have been adopted to assess the quality of the fused images.Also regional geological survey has been taken to find the interpretation veracity.Results show that the MIHS is the best image fusion method for geological hazards interpretation,and the fused image can provide abundant textural and spectral information for easy interpretation of such geological hazards as collapse,landslip,and debris flow.KANG TingJun,ZHANG XinChang & WANG HaiYing Department of Remote Sensing and GIS Engineering,Sun Yat-sen University,Guangzhou 510275,China 2008Science China(Technological Sciences)2008,51,S2:5
6Ecological principle meets cancer treatment: treating children with acute myeloid leukemia with low-dose chemotherapy显示文摘Standard chemotherapy regimens for remission induction of pediatric acute myeloid leukemia(AML) are associated with significant morbidity and mortality. We performed a cohort study to determine the impact of reducing the intensity of remission induction chemotherapy on the outcomes of selected children with AML treated with a low-dose induction regimen plus granulocyte colony stimulating factor(G-CSF)(low-dose chemotherapy(LDC)/G-CSF). Complete response(CR) after two induction courses was attained in 87.0%(40/46) of patients receiving LDC/G-CSF. Post-remission therapy was offered to all patients, and included standard consolidation and/or stem cell transplantation. During the study period, an additional 94 consecutive children with AML treated with standard chemotherapy(SDC) for induction(80/94(85.1%) of the patients attained CR after induction Ⅱ, P = 0.953) and post-remission. In this non-randomized study, there were no significant differences in 4-year event-free(67.4 vs. 70.7%;P = 0.99)and overall(70.3 vs. 74.6%, P = 0.69) survival in the LDC/G-CSF and SDC cohorts, respectively. After the first course of induction, recovery of white blood cell(WBC) and platelet counts were significantly faster in patients receiving LDC/G-CSF than in those receiving SDC(11.5 vs. 18.5 d for WBCs(P < 0.001);15.5 vs. 22.0 d for platelets(P < 0.001)). To examine the quality of molecular response, targeted deep sequencing was performed. Of 137 mutations detected at diagnosis in 20 children who attained hematological CR after two courses of LDC/G-CSF(n = 9) or SDC(n = 11), all of the mutations were below the reference value(variant allelic frequency <2.5%) after two courses, irrespective of the treatment group. In conclusion, children with AML receiving LDC/G-CSF appear to have similar outcomes and mutation clearance levels, but significantly lower toxicity than those receiving SDC. 8U-Pb Isotope Geochronology of Syntectonic Granites from Hainan Island,South China:Constraints on Tectonic Evolution of the Eastern Paleo-Tethys Ocean显示文摘Since the recognition of the Indosinian orogeny in northern Vietnam,Triassic orogens have been widely identified around the western and southwestern boundaries of the South China block.The paleo-Tethys sutures stretch from west to southeast,from Jinshajiang-Ailaoshan via NE Vietnam to Hainan Island;these sutures exhibit and develop voluminous Permian-early Triassic magmatism and numerous high-strain shear zones.As ophiolites related to the paleo-Tethys are lacking on Hainan Island,the eastward extension of the Indosinian orogeny and subduction and closure time of the paleo-Tethys Ocean on Hainan Island remain controversial.Here,an integrated kinematic and geochronological study has been conducted on two shear zones,called the Xiaomei and Mangsan shear zones.U-Pb zircon dating yields an age of early Triassic(252-251 Myr)for Xiaomei syntectonic granites which formed in the same tectonic setting and presented the similar nanoparticles to the Indosinian granites from Ailaoshan ductile shear zone,including the strawberry-like and flower-like nanoparticles.The NE-trending Mangsan shear zone represented by the gneissic granites with middle Permian ages(264-262 Myr)formed in the same tectonic setting as the Wuzhi-shan granites that were proposed as I-type granites.These middle Permian gneissic granites with arc affinity may represent an arc setting related to the NW subduction of the paleo-Tethys.The analyses reveal that granites with late Triassic ages(235-232 Myr)in the Xiaomei shear zone have the characteristics of A-type granites.The late Triassic extensional events on Hainan Island may be related to the subduction of the paleo-Pacific Plate beneath the East Asian continent.ZHOU Yang YAN Yi LIU Hailing CAI Jianxin ZHOU Mengfei ZHANG Xinchang WANG Yin SHEN Baoyun 2020Journal of Ocean University of China2020,19,6:1

15Additive manufacturing of copper-stainless steel hybrid components using laser-aided directed energy deposition显示文摘Combining dissimilar materials in a single component is an effective solution to integrate diverse material properties into a single part.Copper-stainless steel hybrid components are attracting more and more attention since the high thermal conductivity of copper can greatly enhance the thermal performance of stainless steel,which benefits its applications in many industries.However,direct joining of copper and stainless steel such as SS316 L is challenging since they preserve significant dissimilarities in physical,chemical,and thermo-mechanical properties.This paper aims to fabricate well-bonded copper-SS316 L hybrid parts using a laser-aided directed energy deposition(DED) process.A nickel-based alloy Deloro22(D22) is introduced between copper and SS316 L to address the detrimental issues in copper-SS316 L direct joints.Using this technique,defect-free interfaces are achieved at both the D22-SS316 L and copper-D22 transition zones.Tensile testing of Cu-D22-SS316 L and D22-SS316 L hybrid parts shows the fracture occurs at pure copper and SS316 L region,respectively,indicating an excellent bonding at the interfaces.Ascending in the building direction,a transition of grain structure is observed.A significant diffusion zone is obtained at both the D22-SS316 L and the Cu-D22 interfaces.The large diffusion distance results in a smooth variation in microhardness over the dissimilar materials.The microhardness increases from SS316 L to D22 with the highest value of 240 HV and then decreases from D22 to Cu with the lowest value of 63 ± 4 HV.Testing of thermophysical properties of the Cu-D22-SS316 L system indicates there is a ~300 % increase in thermal diffusivity and a ~200 % increase in thermal conductivity when compared to pure SS316 L.The significant increase in thermal diffusivity and conductivity validates the enhanced thermal performance of SS316 L when it is joined with pure copper.Xinchang Zhang Tan Pan Yitao Chen Lan Li Yimlu Zhang Frank Liou 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,21:1

19Distribution and risk assessment of heavy metals in surface sediments of coastal mudflats on Leizhou Peninsula,China显示文摘Mudflats play a vital role in maintaining the dynamic balance between sea and land.To understand the characteristics,sources,and pollution risks of six heavy metals(As,Cd,Cr,Cu,Hg,and Pb)in the coastal mudflats on the Leizhou Peninsula,257 surface sediment samples were studied using mathematical statistics,correlation analysis,and factor analysis.The results show that the overall concentrations of these heavy metals are low although there are several high abnormal points in the local areas.The strong correlation between these heavy metals indicates that the sources of some of the metals are similar,yet their elemental combinations in different cities(counties)varied.According to the calculated enrichment factor(EF),anthropogenic activity-induced heavy metals were determined in order of decreasing influence:As,Cd,Pb,Cr,Cu,and Hg.The low EF values of Hg indicate that it does not present as a contaminant in the study area,while low values of Cr and Cu from the Lianjiang City suggest that these two metals were also attributed to natural sources.The presence of As,Cd,Cr,Cu,and Pb from the remaining cities(counties)should be influenced by anthropogenic activities.The overall potential ecological risk index indicates that the ecological risks posed by the six analyzed heavy metals to the Leizhou Peninsula mudflats,in order of decreasing risk,are Cd,As,Hg,Pb,Cu,and Cr.It is noteworthy that only Cd in Lianjiang City demonstrated substantial ecological risk.Other examined heavy metals in other cities of the study area showed slight ecological risk.Tingting Li Lili Jia Xin Zhu Min Xu Xinchang Zhang 2023Acta Oceanologica Sinica2023,42,1:0
20Simulation and Analysis of Back Siltation in a Navigation Channel Using MIKE 21显示文摘The channel back-siltation problem has been restricting the development of channels,and its monitoring is limited by funds and natural conditions.Moreover,predicting the channel back-siltation situation in a timely and accurate manner is difficult.Hence,a numerical simulation of the back-siltation problem in the sea area near the channel is of great significance to the maintenance of a channel.In this study,the back siltation of a deep-water channel in the Lanshan Port area of the Port of Rizhao after dredging is predicted.This paper relies on the MIKE 21 software to establish the wave,tidal current,and sediment numerical models and uses measured data from two observation stations in the study area for verification.On this basis,taking one month as an example,the entire project channel was divided into five sections,and three observation points were set on each section.The results show that the area with offshore siltation is located in the northerly direction of the artificial anti-wave building.Siltation occurred on the northern seabed in the sea a little farther from the shore.Siltation occurred on the seabed surface far away from the shoreline,and with the increase in the distance from the shoreline,the amount of siltation in the south,center,and north became gradually closed,and the results can be used to guide actual engineering practices.This study will play a positive role in promoting the dredging project of Rizhao Lanshan Port.ZHANG Kuncheng LI Qingjie ZHANG Jing SHI Hongyuan YU Jing GUO Xinchang DU Yonggang 2022Journal of Ocean University of China2022,21,4:0
