1How do“gatekeepers”affect credit risk?显示文摘This study investigates the relationship between auditor tenure and credit default swap(CDS)spreads of U.S.firms based on quantile regression.After allowing for common determinants of CDS spreads,auditor tenure exerts both statistically and economically significant additional impacts on the CDS market.Furthermore,there are differential effects of common CDS spread determinants and auditor tenure.While common determinants of CDS spreads(e.g.,leverage,volatility,risk free rate,credit ratings,and earnings)have monotonically increasing impacts when CDS spreads(and their changes)are increasingly higher,auditor tenure primarily has the impact when CDS spreads are of low or median levels for less risky firms.Xu Li Xingtong Zhang Yinggang Zhou 2021Journal of Management Science and Engineering2021,6,3:1
2An intermittent lithium deposition model based on CuMnbimetallic MOF derivatives for composite lithium anode with ultrahigh areal capacity and current densities显示文摘Recently,three-dimensional(3D)conductive frameworks have been chosen as the host for composite lithium(Li)metal anode because of their exceptional electrical conductivity and remarkable thermal and electrochemical stability.However,Li tends to accumulate on the top of the 3D frameworks with homogenous lithiophilicity and Li dendrite still growth.This work firstly designed a bimetallic metal-organic framework(MOF)(CuMn-MOF)derived Cu_(2)O and Mn_(3)O_(4) nanoparticles decorated carbon cloth(CC)substrates(CC@Cu_(2)O/Mn_(3)O_(4))to fabricate a composite Li anode.Thanks to the synergistic effects of lithiophilic Cu_(2)O and Mn_(3)O_(4),the CC@Cu_(2)O/Mn_(3)O_(4)@Li symmetrical cell can afford a prolonged cycling lifespan(1400 h)under an ultrahigh current density and areal capacity(6 mA·cm^(-2)/6 mAh·cm^(-2)).When coupled with the LiFePO_(4)(LFP)cathode,the LFP||CC@Cu_(2)O/Mn_(3)O_(4)@Li full cell demonstrated a superior performance of 89.7 mAh·g^(-1) even at an extremely high current density(10 C).Furthermore,it can also be matched well with LiNi_(0.5)Co^(0).2Mn_(0.3)O_(2)(NCM523)cathode.Importantly,to explain the excellent performances of the CC@Cu_(2)O/Mn_(3)O_(4)@Li composite anode,an intermittent model was also proposed.This study offers a novel model that can enhance our comprehension of the Li deposition behavior and pave the way to attain stable and safe Li metal anodes by employing bimetallic MOF-derived materials to construct 3D frameworks.Tao Wei Yanyan Zhou Cheng Sun Xingtong Guo Shoudong Xu Daifen Chen Yongfu Tang 2024Nano Research2024,17,4:0
3Pancreatic cancer with ovarian metastasis: cases report and literature review显示文摘Background: Pancreatic cancer with ovarian metastases is rare and easily misdiagnosed. Patients with ovarian metastases are first diagnosed with ovarian cancer and may miss the opportunity to receive surgical operation. We report 7 rare cases of ovarian metastases secondary to pancreatic adenocarcinoma and review the literature to analyze clinical characteristics, diagnostic methods, and potential therapeutic strategies for the rare malignancy.Cases Summary: We retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of 7 female patients with ovarian metastases of primary pancreatic cancer who were admitted to our hospital from January 01, 1985, to April 1, 2020. These 7 patients were diagnosed with ovarian metastasis at an average age of 52.28 (38-69) years. The reason for the patient’s visit was generally a mass in the lower abdomen and/or abdominal pain. Six of them had significantly higher serum Carbohydrate antigen19-9 (CA19-9) levels, 6 patients had pancreatic tumors located in the body or tail, and 1 patient had one in the head of the pancreas. All patients underwent excision of ovarian tumors and resection or biopsy of pancreatic tumors. Five patients had pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), and 2 had pancreatic cystadenocarcinoma (PCC), all of which were revealed by the pathological results. Ovarian tumors were assessed by pathology and were consistent with pancreatic metastasis. Currently, all 7 patients have died (follow-up to January 2, 2021). The median survival time for all patients was 13.7 months (2.9-27 months).Conclusions: For this rare tumor, elevated serum CA19-9 may indicate that the primary lesion is in the pancreas. Enhanced pancreatic Computed Tomography (CT) can facilitate diagnostic localization.
