2Programmed Death Ligand-1 on Microglia Regulates Th1 Differentiation via Nitric Oxide in Experimental Autoimmune Encephalomyelitis显示文摘Microglia are considered to be potential antigen-presenting cells and have the ability to present antigen under pathological conditions. Nevertheless, whether and how microglia are involved in immune regulation are largely unknown. Here, we investigated the suppressive activity of microglia during experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis(EAE) induced by myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein, with the goal of understanding their role in regulating the T cell reaction. Using flow cytometric analysis, we found that microglia were characterized by increased cell number and up-regulated programmed death ligand-1(PD-L1) at the peak phase of EAE. Meanwhile,both the CD^(4+)T cells and microglia that infiltrated the central nervous system expressed higher levels of PD1, the receptor for PD-L1, accompanied by a decline of Th1 cells.In an ex vivo co-culture system, microglia from EAE mice inhibited the proliferation of antigen-specific CD^(4+)T cells and the differentiation of Th1 cells, and this was significantly inhibited by PD-L1 blockade. Further,microglia suppressed Th1 cells via nitric oxide(NO), the production of which was dependent on PD-L1. 3Single titanium-oxide species implanted in 2D g-CsN4 matrix as a highly efficient visible-light CO2 reduction photocatalyst显示文摘A visible-light-response, efficie nt and robust photo-catalyst for CO2 reduction is highly desirable. Herein, we demonstrate that single titanium-oxide species impla nted in two-dime nsion al (2D) graphitic carb on n itride (g-C3N4) matrix (2D TiO-CN) can efficie ntly photo-catalyze the reduction of CO2 to CO under the irradiation of visible light. The synergistic interaction between single titanium oxide species and g-C3N4 in 2D TiO-CN not only enhances the separation of photo-excited charges, but also results in visible light response of single titanium-oxide species, realizing high activity of CO2 photo-reduction with extremely high CO generation rate of 283.9 pmol·h^-1·g^-1, 5.7, 6.8 and 292.2 times larger than those of TQ2/CN hybrid material, CN and commercial TiO2, respectively. 4Monitor and control of neuronal activities with femtosecond pulse laser显示文摘Combined with the fluorescence labeling technique, two-photon microscopy excited with femtosecond pulse laser has become an important tool for neuroscience research. In this research, the calcium signals from neurons in rat cortex slice were monitored by a custom-built two-photon microscopy, and the spontaneous calcium signals and the pharmacological responses as well as the responses to femtosecond pulse laser stimulation were recorded. The results showed that the amplitude of the cal-cium signals increased in direct proportion to the corresponding electrical activities. Glutamate induced a calcium transient, but continuous application resulted in smaller response. Simultaneous monitoring of neuronal populations distinguished the neurons of different microcircuits. The femtosecond pulse laser induced local or global calcium signals in the pyramidal neurons. 6A new method of developing elastic-plastic-viscous constitutive model for clays显示文摘A new method is presented to develop the existing elastic-plastic constitutive model into an elastic-plastic-viscous one for clays.The actual loading process is divided into an instant process and a delayed process denoting the elastic-plastic strain and viscous strain, respectively. The elastic-plastic strain is determined by either an elastic-plastic model for overconsolidated clays or an improved model based on the elastic-plastic model for normally consolidated clays. In order to calculate viscous strain, a reference state line is defined based on the actual loading path. Combining the reference state line, an existing elastic-plastic model can be conveniently developed into an elastic-plastic-viscous model. Furthermore, using the proposed method, the modified cam clay model is extended into an elastic-plastic-viscous model. 7Time-dependent surrounding soil pressure and mechanical response of tunnel lining induced by surrounding soil viscosity显示文摘A numerical simulation method of shield tunnel excavation is developed to capture the time-dependent deformation behaviour of surrounding soil. The simulation method consists of four parts:(i) an elastic-plastic-viscous constitutive model that can not only reasonably describe the viscous deformation behaviour of soil, but also appropriately calculate the plastic deformation under typical stress paths of excavation;(ii) simulation of main factors related to shield tunnel excavation, including the shield machine, face pressure, lining, grout behavior, and contacts between multiple media;(iii) a simulation procedure for excavation to reflect the process of shield tunnel excavation and achieve reasonable stress and strain fields at the end of the construction stage;(iv) a creep process that is used to investigate the long-term mechanical behaviours of the surrounding soil and tunnel lining. Taking the CK570H tunnel project in Taipei as the background, a numerical simulation is conducted by adopting the developed simulation method. Based on the simulation results, the radial and circumferential stresses acting on the lining, which are induced by the surrounding soil viscosity, are analysed. The rule of the mechanical response of lining, including its deformation, bending moment, and axial force, with time is revealed. 8Directional construction of Cu2S branch arrays for advanced oxygen evolution reaction显示文摘Metal sulphide electrocatalyst is considered as one of the most promising low-cost candidates for oxygen evolution reaction(OER).In this work,we report a novel free-standing Cu2S branch array via a facile TiO2-induced electrodeposition-sulfurization method.Interestingly,cross-linked Cu2S nanoflake branch is strongly anchored on the TiO2 backbone forming high-quality Cu2S/TiO2/Cu2S core-branch arrays.The branch formation mechanism is also proposed.As compared to the pure Cu2S nanowire arrays,the asprepared Cu2S/TiO2/Cu2S core-branch arrays show much better alkaline OER performance with lower overpotential(284 mV at 10 mA cm^-2)and smaller Tafel slope(72 dec-1)as well as enhanced longterm durability mainly due to larger exposed area and more active electrocatalytic sites.Our work provides a new way for construction of advanced metal sulphide electrocatalysts for electrochemical energy conversion.Shengjue Deng Yanbin Shen Dong Xie Yangfan Lu Xiaolong Yu Liang Yang Xiuli Wang Xinhui Xia Jiangping Tu 2019Journal of Energy Chemistry2019,28,12:3

10A 3D elastic-plastic-viscous constitutive model for soils considering the stress path dependency显示文摘In order to consider the stress path dependency of soils,this paper decomposes any arbitrary stress path into several infinitesimal stress paths.Then the infinitesimal stress path is further transformed into the superposition of two parts,i.e..a constant stress ratio part and a constant mean stress part,which arc sufficiently close to the real stress path.T he plastic strain increments under the transformed paths arc determined separately,and then the plastic strain under any path is obtained.Based on the in­stantaneous loading line of normally consolidated soil,a reference state line is proposed to determine the overconsolidation ratio and creep time of soil.The overconsolidation ratio is introduced into the viscous How rule to obtain the viscous strain increment.The strcss-strain-timc relationship for triaxial compression condition is extended to 3D stress condition by the transformed stress method.The proposed model adopts only seven material parameters and each of them has a clear physical meaning.Com­parisons with test results demonstrate that the model can not only reasonably predict the plastic strain under typical stress paths of excavation,but adequately capture the time-dependent behaviours of soils,including creep,stress relaxation and strain rate effect.LU DeChun MIAO JinBo DU XiuLi TIAN Yu YAO YangPing 2020Science China(Technological Sciences)2020,63,5:2
11TiC/C core/shell nanowires arrays as advanced anode of sodium ion batteries显示文摘High-perfo rmance anodes of sodium ion batteries(SIBs)largely depends on rational architecture design and binder-free smart hybridization.Herein,we report TiC/C core/shell nanowires arrays prepared by a one-step chemical vapor deposition(CVD)method and apply it as the anode of SIBs for the first time.The conductive TiC core is intimately decorated with carbon shell.The as-obtained TiC/C nanowires are homogeneously grown on the substrate and show core/shell heterostructure and porous architecture with high electronic conductivity and reinforced stability.Owing to these merits,the TiC/C electrode displays good rate performance and outstanding cycling performance with a capacity of 135.3 mAh/g at 0.1 A/g and superior capacity retention of 90.14%after 1000 cycles at 2 A/g.The reported strategy would provide a promising way to construct binder-free arrays electrodes for sodium ion storage.Yanbin Shen Yahao Li Shengjue Deng Guoxiang Pan Qinqin Xiong Xiaokun Ding Yangfan Lu Qi Liu Xinhui Xia Xiuli Wang Jiangping Tu 2020Chinese Chemical Letters2020,31,3:2
12Carboxylate-induced Various Structures of Ni(II) Complexes with Fluorescence Sensing and Bifunctional Electrochemical Properties显示文摘We synthesized three new Ni(II) coordination polymers [Ni(LXHLPXH2O)2]- H2O(CP1),[Ni(LXNIP)]-2H2O(CP2) and [Ni(LXNDCXH20)2](CP3)[L=N,N′-bis(pyridme-3-yl)thiophene-2,5-dicarboxamide, H2HIP=5-hydroxyisophthalic acid, H2NIP=5-nitroisophthalic acid, H2NDC=2,6-naphthalenedicarboxylie acid] by hydrothermal method, which were characterized by means of infrared spectra(IR), TG analyses, PXRD and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The CPI is a ID tubular structure based on [Ni-HIP]2 loops and pairs of L ligands. CP2 is a 2D 3,5-connected architecture, which consists of Ni-L linear chains and (Ni-NIP)2 double chains. CP3 is a 2D network, which features 4-connected topology. Solid-state luminescent behaviours of CP-P3 were investigated. The CPI can detect Fe^3+ ions through luminescence quenching. 13N-doped CoO nanowire arrays as efficient electrocatalysts for oxygen evolution reaction显示文摘Rational design of cost-effective high-performance electrocatalysts for oxygen evolution reaction (OER) is of great significance for electrochemical water splitting. Herein, we adopt a nitrogen doping method to fabricate self-supported N-doped CoO nanowire arrays (N-CoO) as active electrocatalysts via a facile hydrothermal combined doping method. The N-CoO nanowires are strongly composited with the carbon cloth substrate forming free-standing electrode with reinforced stability and high electronic conductivity. Owing to the increased accessible and electroactive areas, rich/short pathways for charge transfer and enhanced electronic conductivity, the N-CoO electrode exhibits excellent electrocatalytic performance for OER with a low overpotential (319 mV at 10 mA cm^-2 and 410 mV at 100 mA cm^-2) and a low Tafel slope of 74 mV dec^-1 as well as superior long-term stability with no decay in 24 h continuous test in alkaline solution. 14Empirical likelihood inference for estimating equation with missing data显示文摘In this article, empirical likelihood inference for estimating equation with missing data is considered. Based on the weighted-corrected estimating function, an empirical log-likelihood ratio is proved to be a standard chi-square distribution asymptotically under some suitable conditions. This result is different from those derived before. So it is convenient to construct confidence regions for the parameters of interest. We also prove that our proposed maximum empirical likelihood estimator θ is asymptotically normal and attains the semiparametric efficiency bound of missing data. 19Recombinant adenovirus-mediated overexpression of 3β-hydroxysteroid-Δ24 reductase显示文摘3β-Hydroxysteroid-Δ24 reductase(DHCR24) is a multifunctional enzyme that localizes to the endoplasmic reticulum and has neuroprotective and cholesterol-synthesizing activities. DHCR24 overexpression confers neuroprotection against apoptosis caused by amyloid β deposition. The present study aimed to construct two recombinant adenoviruses driving DHCR24 expression specifically in neurons. Two SYN1 promoter DNA fragments were obtained from human(h) and rat(r). Recombinant Ad-r(h)SYN1-DHCR24 was transfected into AD-293, N2A(mouse neuroblastoma), and MIN6(mouse pancreatic carcinoma) cells. Western blot analysis showed DHCR24 was specially expressed in 293 and N2A cells, but no specific band was found in MIN6 cells. This demonstrates that the recombinant adenoviruses successfully express DHCR24, and no expression is observed in non-neuronal cells. TUNEL assay results showed apoptosis was inhibited in adenovirus-transfected neurons. Detecting reactive oxygen species by immunofluorescence, we found that adenovirus transfection inhibits apoptosis through scavenging excess reactive oxygen species.
