2Effect of Bushenwenyanghuayu decoction on nerve growth factor and bradykinin/bradykinin B_1 receptor in a endometriosis dysmenorrhea mouse model显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To observe the effects of Bushenwenyanghuayu decoction(BD),a Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM),on the serum concentration of nerve growth factor(NGF) and bradykinin(BK),and protein and mRNA levels of NGF and bradykinin B_1receptor(BKB1R) in a mouse model of endometriosis dysmenorrhea.METHODS:Seventy-five experimental female BALB/c mice were randomly divided into five groups,15 mice each:sham,model,BD high dose(61.67 g/kg),BD low dose(15.42 g/kg),and gestrinone(0.4 mg/kg) groups.All the mice except for those in the sham group underwent auto-transplantation surgery and were gavaged estradiol valerate(0.5 mg/kg,daily for 12 days) after surgery.On the 12 th day,1 h after administration,writhing response was induced by intraperitoneal injection of oxytocin at 2 U/mouse.The writhing frequency and latency were recorded and the volume of the ectopic foci was measured.The concentration of serum NGF and BK was detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay,the protein expression of NGF and BKB1 R was tested by immunohistochemistry and western blotting,and NGF and BKB1 R mRNAs were detected by real-time PCR.RESULTS:Compared with the model group,the volume of the ectopic foci in the treatment groups was significantly lower(P < 0.01),the writhing frequency was decreased(P < 0.05),and the writhing latency was prolonged(P < 0.01).Compared with the sham group,serum NGF and BK levels in the model group were significantly increased(P <0.01).There were positive correlations for writhing frequency among the NGF and BK groups(P <0.01).The serum NGF and BK levels were significantly lower in the treatment groups than the model group(P < 0.05).The protein expression of NGF,BKB1 R was significantly decreased in the treatment groups compared with the model group(P < 0.01).NGF and BKB1 R mRNA expression was significantly decreased in the treatment groups compared with the model group(P < 0.01).CONCLUSION:NGF and BK/BKB1 R may play an important role in the development of endometriosis-associated dysmenorrhea,and BD was found to inhibit the development of endometriosis and relieve dysmenorrhea by influencing NGF and BK/BKB1 R mRNA and protein levels.Chen Jingwei Du Huilan Tong Ruixiao Yang Hua Ma Huirong 2015Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2015,35,2:12

4Biodegradation of indole by a newly isolated Cupriavidus sp. SHE显示文摘Indole, a typical nitrogen heterocyclic aromatic pollutant, is extensively spread in industrial wastewater. Microbial degradation has been proven to be a feasible approach to remove indole, whereas the microbial resources are fairly limited. A bacterial strain designated as SHE was isolated and found to be an efficient indole degrader. It was identified as Cupriavidus sp. according to 16 SrRNA gene analysis. Strain SHE could utilize indole as the sole carbon source and almost completely degrade 100 mg/L of indole within 24 hr. It still harbored relatively high indole degradation capacity within p H 4–9 and temperature 25°C–35°C. Experiments also showed that some heavy metals such as Mn2+, Pb2+and Co2+did not pose severe inhibition on indole degradation. Based on high performance liquid chromatography–mass spectrum analysis, isatin was identified as a minor intermediate during the process of indole biodegradation. A major yellow product with m/z 265.0605(C15H8N2O3) was generated and accumulated, suggesting a novel indole conversion pathway existed. Genome analysis of strain SHE indicated that there existed a rich set of oxidoreductases, which might be the key reason for the efficient degradation of indole. 5Construction of ternary CuO/CuFe_(2)O_(4)/g-C_(3)N_(4)composite and its enhanced photocatalytic degradation of tetracycline hydrochloride with persulfate under simulated sunlight显示文摘In this study,a graphitic carbon nitride(g-C_(3)N_(4))based ternary catalyst Cu O/Cu Fe_(2)O_(4)/gC_(3)N_(4)(CCCN)is successfully prepared thorough calcination method.After confirming the structure and composition of CCCN,the as-synthesized composites are utilized to activate persulfate(PS)for the degradation of organic contaminant.While using tetracycline hydrochloride(TC)as pollutant surrogate,the effects of initial p H,PS and catalyst concentration on the degradation rate are systematically studied.Under the optimized reaction condition,CCCN/PS is able to give 99%degradation extent and 74%chemical oxygen demand removal in assistance of simulated solar light,both of which are apparently greater than that of either Cu O/Cu Fe_(2)O_(4)and pristine g-C_(3)N_(4).The great improvement in degradation can be assignable to the effective separation of photoinduced carriers thanks to the integration between Cu O/Cu Fe_(2)O_(4)and g-C_(3)N_(4),as well as the increased reaction sites given by the g-C_(3)N_(4)substrate.Moreover,the scavenging trials imply that the major oxidative matters involved in the decomposition are hydroxyl radicals(·OH),superoxide radicals(·O_(2)^(-))and photo-induced holes(h^(+)).Lei Wang Xiaolei Ma Guofang Huang Rui Lian Jingwei Huang Houde She Qizhao Wang 2022Journal of Environmental Sciences2022,34,2:5
6Interference migration using concurrent transmission for energy-efficient Het Nets显示文摘This paper explores the non-uniform distribution property of interference from the perspective of green communications. An interference migration strategy with concurrent transmission is proposed to transfer the interference among different interference regions. In particular, an interference intensity index is used to depict the non-uniform interference distribution. Then we derive the threshold for executing interference migration and the optimal transmission splitting probabilities for energy efficiency(EE) maximization. 7Subdivision and age of the Yanchang Formation and the Middle/Upper Triassic boundary in Ordos Basin, North China显示文摘The Yanchang Formation is extensively developed in the Ordos Basin and its surrounding regions. As one of the best terrestrial Triassic sequences in China and the major oil-gas bearing formations in the Ordos Basin, its age determination and stratigraphic assignment are important in geological survey and oil-gas exploration. It had been attributed to the Late Triassic and regarded as the typical representative of the Upper Triassic in northern China for a long time, although some scholars had already proposed that the lower part of this formation should be of the Middle Triassic age in the mid-late 20 th century. In this paper, we suggest that the lower and middle parts of the Yanchang Formation should be of the Ladinian and the bottom possibly belongs to the late Anisian of the Middle Triassic, mainly based on new fossils found in it and high resolution radiometric dating results. The main source rocks, namely the oil shales and mudstones of the Chang-7, are of the Ladinian Age. The upper part of the Yanchang Formation, namely the Chang-6 and the above parts, belongs to the Late Triassic. The uppermost of the Triassic is missed in most parts of the Ordos Basin. The Middle-Upper Triassic Series boundary lies in the Yanchang Formation, equivalent to the boundary between Chang-7 and Chang-6. The Ladinian is an important palaeoenvironmental turning point in the Ordos Basin. Palaeoenvironmental changes in the basin are coincidence with that of the Sichuan Basin and the main tectonic movement of the Qinling Mountains. 9Risk stratification in symptomatic intracranial atherosclerotic disease with conventional vascular risk factors and cerebral haemodynamics显示文摘Background and purpose Symptomatic intracranial atherosclerotic stenosis(sICAS)is associated with a considerable risk of recurrent stroke despite contemporarily optimal medical treatment.Severity of luminal stenosis in sICAS and its haemodynamic significance quantified with computational fluid dynamics(CFD)models were associated with the risk of stroke recurrence.We aimed to develop and compare stroke risk prediction nomograms in sICAS,based on vascular risk factors and these metrics.Methods Patients with 50%-99%sICAS confirmed in CT angiography(CTA)were enrolled.Conventional vascular risk factors were collected.Severity of luminal stenosis in sICAS was dichotomised as moderate(50%-69%)and severe(70%-99%).Translesional pressure ratio(PR)and wall shear stress ratio(WSSR)were quantified via CTA-based CFD modelling;the haemodynamic status of sICAS was classified as normal(normal PR&WSSR),intermediate(otherwise)and abnormal(abnormal PR&WSSR).All patients received guideline-recommended medical treatment.We developed and compared performance of nomograms composed of these variables and independent predictors identified in multivariate logistic regression,in predicting the primary outcome,recurrent ischaemic stroke in the same territory(SIT)within 1 year.Results Among 245 sICAS patients,20(8.2%)had SIT.The D2H2A nomogram,incorporating diabetes,dyslipidaemia,haemodynamic status of sICAS,hypertension and age≥50 years,showed good calibration(P for Hosmer-Lemeshow test=0.560)and discrimination(C-statistic 0.73,95%CI 0.60 to 0.85).It also had better performance in risk reclassification and provided larger net benefits in decision curve analysis,compared with nomograms composed of conventional vascular risk factors only,and plus the severity of luminal stenosis in sICAS.Sensitivity analysis in patients with anterior-circulation sICAS showed similar results.Conclusions The D2H2A nomogram,incorporating conventional vascular risk factors and the haemodynamic significance of sICAS as assessed in CFD models,could be a useful tool to stratify sICAS patients for the risk of recurrent stroke under contemporarily optimal medical treatment.Xuan Tian Hui Fang Linfang Lan Hing Lung Ip Jill Abrigo Haipeng Liu Lina Zheng Florence S Y Fan Sze Ho Ma Bonaventure Ip Bo Song Yuming Xu Jingwei Li Bing Zhang Yun Xu Yannie O Y Soo Vincent Mok Ka Sing Wong Thomas W Leung Xinyi Leng 2023Stroke & Vascular Neurology2023,8,1:2
10A versatile ligand-assisted cooperative template method to synthesize multi-shelled mesoporous hollow metal hydroxide and oxide nanospheres as catalytic reactors显示文摘Nowadays,multi-shelled mesoporous hollow metal oxide nanospheres have drawn a lot of attention due to their large internal space,nanometer scaled shell thickness,high specific surface area and well-defined mesopores,of which unique nanostructure endows metallic oxides with enhanced properties.In this thesis,we have studied and proposed a versatile ligand-assisted cooperative template method to synthesize multi-shelled mesoporous hollow metal hydroxides and oxides nanospheres,in which silica nanospheres act as sacrificial templates and the coordination interaction between metal ions and surfactant can be cooperatively amplified by using chelating ligand(ascorbic acid)as a co-template.The synthesized metal hydroxides and oxides nanospheres possess stable hollow structure,uniform spherical morphology and tunable diameter from 270 to 690 nm.All the multi-shelled mesoporous hollow metal hydroxide and metal oxide nanospheres exhibit high surface areas(up to 640 m^(2)/g).The obtained Au nanoparticles loaded composited nanospheres exhibit excellent reactivity for solvent-free aerobic oxidation of ethylbenzene with high activity(28.2%)and selectivity(87%).Jingwei Liu Yali Ma Liangliang Zhang Yuenan Zheng Rui Zhang Ling Zhang Feng Wei Zhen-An Qiao 2021Nano Research2021,14,9:2

12Biosynthesis of gold nanoparticles by Trichoderma sp.WL-Go for azo dyes decolorization显示文摘Developing an eco-friendly approach for metallic nanoparticles synthesis is important in current nanotechnology research. In this study, green synthesis of gold nanoparticles(AuNPs) was carried out by a newly isolated strain Trichoderma sp. WL-Go. UV–vis spectra of Au NPs showed a surface plasmon resonance peak at 550 nm, and transmission electron microscopy images revealed that the Au NPs were of varied shape with well dispersibility.The optimal conditions for Au NPs synthesis were HAuCl_4 1.0 mmol/L, biomass 0.5 g and pH 7–11. Moreover, the bio-Au NPs could efficiently catalyze the decolorization of various azo dyes. 17Effects of long-term fast charging on a layered cathode for lithium-ion batteries显示文摘Fast charging, which aims to shorten recharge times to 10–15 min, is crucial for electric vehicles(EVs),but battery capacity usually decays rapidly if batteries are charged under such severe conditions.Revealing the failure mechanism is a prerequisite to improving the charging performance of lithium(Li)-ion batteries. Previous studies have focused less on cathode materials while also mostly focusing on their early changes. Thus, the cumulative effect of long-term fast charging on cathode materials has not been fully studied. Here, we study the changes in a layered cathode material during 1000 cycles of 6 C charging based on 1.6 Ah LiCoO_(2)/graphite pouch cells. Postmortem analysis reveals that the surface structure, charge transfer resistance and Li-ion diffusion coefficient of the cathode degenerate during repeated fast charging, causing a large increase in polarization. This polarization-induced poor utilization of the Li inventory is an important reason for the rapid capacity fading of batteries.
