1Self-assembled monolayers of stearic imidazoline on copper electrodes detected using electrochemical measurements, XPS, molecular simulation and FTIR显示文摘A type of imidazoline inhibitor was synthesized using stearic acid and diethylenetriamine (DETA) as raw materials. Self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) of stearic imidazoline (IM) were prepared on copper surface. The copper electrode modified by IM was detected by electrochemical impedance spectros- copy (EIS),Tafel polarization curves, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and Fourial transform reflection spectroscopy (FTIR). The biggest inhibition efficiency for copper corrosion of IM was 99% in NaCl solution according to EIS results. The XPS results provided evidence that the IM was adsorbed on copper surface. 3Recent advances in biological detection with magnetic nanoparticles as a useful tool显示文摘Magnetic nanoparticles have emerged as a powerful tool for magnetic resonance imaging, biodetection, drug delivery, and hyperthermia. This review focuses on the biological detection of magnetic nanoparticles as well as their physicochemical properties. Substantial progress in the sensitivity of detection has been made by developing variety of methods. Five applications of magnetic nanoparticles in biological detection are discussed in this review: magnetic separation, magnetic sensing, magnetic manipulation, magnetic catalysis, and signal enhancer for surface plasmon resonance(SPR). 4Effects of Exogenous Trehalose on the Metabolism of Sugar and Abscisic Acid in Tomato Seedlings Under Salt Stress显示文摘Salt stress a ects the growth and development of plants, which results in a decrease in crop quality and yield. In this study, we used tomato seedlings treated with salt and trehalose as experimental materials and analyzed them using the technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution analysis to select the optimal trehalose concentration for treatment. We also determined the contents of sugar and abscisic acid (ABA) and detected the expression of genes involved in the metabolism of sugar and ABA by quantitative real-time PCR. Results showed that the optimal trehalose concentration was 2 mmol/L for tomato seedlings under salt stress. Exogenous trehalose decreased the starch content and increased the soluble sugar con- tent by a ecting the expression of genes related to the metabolism of starch and soluble sugar. Exogenous trehalose altered the accumulation and distribution of sugar by inducing the upregulation of sugar transporter genes. Furthermore, trehalose increased the ABA content to induce salt stress response by regulating the expression of genes related to the synthesis and metabolism of ABA. In conclusion, trehalose can e ectively alleviate salt stress and enhance salt tolerance of tomato. 5Effect of different aged cartilage ECM on chondrogenesis of BMSCs in vitro and in vivo显示文摘Extracellular matrix(ECM)-based biomaterials are promising candidates in cartilage tissue engineering by simulating the native microenvironment to regulate the chondrogenic differentiation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells(BMSCs)without exogenous growth factors.The biological properties of ECM scaffolds are primarily depended on the original source,which would directly influence the chondrogenic effects of the ECM materials.Despite the expanding investigations on ECM scaffolds in recent years,the selection of optimized ECM materials in cartilage regeneration was less reported.In this study,we harvested and compared the articular cartilage ECM from newborn,juvenile and adult rabbits.The results demonstrated the significant differences in the mechanical strength,sulphated glycosaminoglycan and collagen contents of the different aged ECM,before and after decellularization.Consequently,different compositional and mechanical properties were shown in the three ECM-based collagen hydrogels,which exerted age-dependent chondrogenic inducibility.In general,both in vitro and in vivo results suggested that the newborn ECM promoted the most chondrogenesis of BMSCs but led to severe matrix calcification.In contrast,BMSCs synthesized the lowest amount of cartilaginous matrix with minimal calcification with adult ECM.The juvenile ECM achieved the best overall results in promoting chondrogenesis of BMSCs and preventing matrix calcification.Together,this study provides important information to our current knowledge in the design of future ECM-based biomaterials towards a successful repair of articular cartilage.Xiuyu Wang Yan Lu Wan Wang Qiguang Wang Jie Liang Yujiang Fan Xingdong Zhang 2020Regenerative Biomaterials2020,7,6:4
6Adaptive Pseudo Inverse Control for a Class of Nonlinear Asymmetric and Saturated Nonlinear Hysteretic Systems显示文摘This paper aims at eliminating the asymmetric and saturated hysteresis nonlinearities by designing hysteresis pseudo inverse compensator and robust adaptive dynamic surface control(DSC)scheme.The'pseudo inverse'means that an on-line calculation mechanism of approximate control signal is developed by applying a searching method to the designed temporary control signal where the true control signal is included.The main contributions are summarized as:1)to our best knowledge,it is the first time to compensate the asymmetric and saturated hysteresis by using hysteresis pseudo inverse compensator because the construction of the true saturated-type hysteresis inverse model is very difficult;2)by designing the saturated-type hysteresis pseudo inverse compensator,the construction of true explicit hysteresis inverse and the identifications of its corresponding unknown parameters are not required when dealing with the saturated-type hysteresis;3)by combining DSC technique with the tracking error transformed function,the'explosion of complexity'problem in backstepping method is overcome and the prespecified tracking performance is achieved.Analysis of stability and experimental results on the hardware-inloop platform illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed adaptive pseudo inverse control scheme.Xiuyu Zhang Ruijing Jing Zhiwei Li Zhi Li Xinkai Chen Chun-Yi Su 2021IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2021,8,4:4
7Corrosion resistance and electrical conductivity of V/Ce conversion coating on magnesium alloy AZ31B显示文摘A V/Ce conversion coating was deposited in the surface of AZ31B magnesium alloy in a solution containing vanadate and cerium nitrate.The coating composition and morphology were examined.The conversion coating appears to consist of a thin and cracked coating with a scattering of spherical particles.The corrosion behavior of the substrate and conversion coating was studied by potentiodynamic polarization and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS).Compared with AZ31B magnesium alloy,the corrosion current density of the conversion coating is decreased by two orders of magnitude.The total impedance of the V/Ce conversion coating rise to 1.6×10^(3)Ω·cm^(2)in contrast with2.2×10^(2)Ω·cm^(2)of the bare AZ31B.In addition,the electrical conductivity of the coating was assessed by conductivity meter and Mott-Schottky measurement.The results reveal a high dependence of the conductivity of the coating on the semiconductor properties of the phase compositions.Jinxiao Yang Xudong Wang Yiren Cai Xiuyu Yang 2023International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2023,30,4:2
8Simulation and analysis of two-point bending fatigue test of asphalt concrete based on discrete element model显示文摘In order to investigate the fatigue performance ofFrench high modulus asphalt concrete and the correlationbetween Burger's parameters and fatigue life, the virtualmodel of asphalt mixture trapezoidal specimen in the two-pointbending fatigue test was constructed in discrement elementsoftware PFC3D. The initial stiffness and the maximum stresswhen the specimen reached fatigue were calculated. Throughthe comparison between virtual and single field fatigue testcurves, the credibility of simulation in DEM was verified.Then, the impacts of top controlled displacement and Burger'sparameters ( El, E2, η1, η2) on the fatigue life of the specimenwere explored. The simulation results indicate that themaximum stress increases with the increase in the topcontrolled displacement. 9Geochronology,geochemistry and Hf isotopic study of Early Carboniferous granodiorites in Taerqi region,central Daxing'anling and its tectonic implication显示文摘Zircon U-Pb age,whole rock geochemical and zircon Hf isotopic data are presented for Late Paleozoic granodiorites from the Taerqi region,central Daxing'anling to constrain its petrogenesis and tectonic implication.LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb age data indicates that the Late Paleozoic granodiorites were emplaced with age of333.4 ± 2.2 Ma(Early Carboniferous).Geochemically,the granodiorite samples have Si O2= 60.54%-71.40%,Na2 O = 4.04%--4.66%,K2 O = 1.65%--4.27% and Mg O = 0.96%--3.53%,belonging to medium-K to high-K calc-alkaline I-type granites.They are slightly enriched in large ion lithophile elements(e.g.Rb,Th,U and K) and light rare earth elements,and depleted in high field strength elements(e.g.Nb,Ta and Ti),with εHf(t) values of 8.0--11.8 and Hf two-stage model ages of 586-829 Ma.All these geochemical features suggest that the primary magma was derived from partial melting of Neoproterozoic to Phanerozoic newly accreted lower crust.According to the geochemical data and regional geological investigations,the Early Carboniferous granodiorites formed in an island arc setting linked to the subduction of the Paleo-Asian Oceanic Plate beneath the Xing'an Terrane.This also implies that the Xing'an and Songliao terranes have not amalgamated before the Early Carboniferous.YUN Xiuyu HE Zhonghua YAN Weibing 2015Global Geology2015,18,2:2

14Self-extinguishing and transparent epoxy resin modified by a phosphine oxide-containing bio-based derivative显示文摘A phosphine oxide-containing bio-based curing agent was synthesized by addition reaction between furan derivatives and diphenylphosphine oxide.The molecular structure of the as-prepared bio-based curing agent was confirmed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy.Dynamic mechanical analysis results indicated that with the increase of bio-based curing agent content,the glass transition temperature of epoxy/bio-based curing agent composites decreased,which was related to the steric effect of diphenylphosphine oxide species that possibly hinder the curing reaction as well as the reduction in the cross-linking density by mono-functional N-H.By the addition of 7.5 wt-%bio-based curing agent,the resulting epoxy composite achieved UL-94 V-0 rating,in addition to limiting oxygen index of 32.0 vol-%.With the increase of content for the bio-based curing agent,the peak of heat release rate and total heat release of the composites gradually decreased.The bio-based curing agent promoted the carbonization of the epoxy matrix,leading to higher char yield with good thermal resistance.The high-quality char layer served as an effective barrier to retard the diffusion of decomposition volatiles and oxygen between molten polymers and the flame.This study provides a renewable strategy for fabricating flame retardant and transparent epoxy thermoset.Gang Tang Ruiqing Zhao Dan Deng Yadong Yang Depeng Chen Bing Zhang Xinliang Liu Xiuyu Liu 2021Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2021,15,5:1
15Influence of litter decomposition on iron and manganese in the sediments of wetlands for acid mine drainage treatments显示文摘Plant litter will influence the bioavailability of heavy metals in sediments of wetlands used to treat acid mine drainage. To investigate the effect of plant litter on sediments in wetlands and define the comprehensive and continuous role of plant litter, different mass ratios(0%,5%, 20%) of litter were added into the sediments to study the influence of litter decomposition on the overlying water and sediments. The changes in pH, EC, Eh, Fe, and Mn of the overlying water and the organic matter in the sediments and the forms of Fe and Mn after 1, 7, 14, 21, and 28 days of litter decomposition were studied. The results indicated that litter decomposition increased the pH, EC, and reduced Eh of the overlying water. Litter decomposition promoted the release of Fe and Mn from the sediments into the overlying water and with the continuous decomposition of litter, the concentration of Fe and Mn in the overlying water declined. Litter decomposition increased the content of the organic matter in the sediment, and the forms of Fe and Mn indicated that litter decomposition could significantly affect the transformation of the forms of Fe and Mn.Reducible Fe was the main form in the sediments. Litter decomposition promoted the transformation of reducible Fe, the main form found in the sediments, intoexchangeable and oxidizable Fe, but had no effect on residual form.
