| 5 | Revealing alkali metal ions transport mechanism in the atomic channels of Au@a-MnO_(2)显示文摘Understanding alkali metal ions’(e.g.,Li^(+)/Na^(+)/K^(+))transport mechanism is challenging but critical to improving the performance of alkali metal batteries.Herein using a-MnO_(2)nanowires as cathodes,the transport kinetics of Li^(+)/Na^(+)/K^(+)in the 2×2 channels of a-MnO_(2)with a growth direction of[001]is revealed.We show that ion radius plays a decisive role in determining the ion transport and electrochemistry.Regardless of the ion radii,Li^(+)/Na^(+)/K^(+)can all go through the 2×2 channels of a-MnO_(2),generating large stress and causing channel merging or opening.However,smaller ions such as Li^(+)and Na^(+)cannot only transport along the[001]direction but also migrate along the<110>direction to the nanowire surface;for large ion such as K^(+),diffusion along the<110>direction is prohibited.The different ion transport behavior has grand consequences in the electrochemistry of metal oxygen batteries(MOBs).For Li-O_(2)battery,Li^(+)transports uniformly to the nanowire surface,forming a uniform layer of oxide;Na^(+)also transports to the nanowire surface but may be clogged locally due to its larger radius,therefore sporadic pearl-like oxides form on the nanowire surface;K^(+)cannot transport to the nanowire surface due to its large radius,instead,it breaks the nanowire locally,causing local deposition of potassium oxides.The study provides atomic scale understanding of the alkali metal ion transport mechanism which may be harnessed to improve the performance of MOBs. | Jingzhao Chen Yong Su Hongjun Ye Yushu Tang Jitong Yan Zhiying Gao Dingding Zhu Jingming Yao Xuedong Zhang Tingting Yang Baiyu Guo Hui Li Qiushi Dai Yali Liang Jun Ma Bo Wang Haiming Sun Qiunan Liu Jing Wang Congcong Du Liqiang Zhang Yongfu Tang Jianyu Huang | 2023 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,7: | 0 |
| 6 | A Novel Approach for Image Encryption with Chaos-RNA显示文摘In today’s information society,image encryption technology is crucial to protecting Internet security.However,traditional image encryption algorithms have problems such as insufficient chaotic characteristics,insufficient randomness of keys,and insecure Ribonucleic Acid(RNA)encoding.To address these issues,a chaos-RNA encryption scheme that combines chaotic maps and RNA encoding was proposed in this research.The initial values and parameters of the chaotic system are first generated using the Secure Hash Algorithm 384(SHA-384)function and the plaintext image.Next,the Lühyperchaotic system sequence was introduced to change the image’s pixel values to realize block scrambling,and further disturbance is achieved through spiral index sequence to enhance encryption effectiveness.Subsequently,to obtain the final encrypted image,the diffusion is accomplished through different RNA encoding rules and operation rules corresponding to the chaotic sequence generated by an improved one-dimensional chaotic map(1DCM).Here innovatively propose four new RNA operation rules,increasing the difficulty of decryption.Simulation results demonstrate that the normalized pixel change rate(NPCR)and the unified average changed intensity(UACI)values of the tested encrypted images were 99.61%and 33.46%,respectively.The average ciphertext entropy value in the Red Green Blue(RGB)channels were 7.9986,7.991,and 7.991.Furthermore,this algorithm exhibits a low correlation coefficient and enhanced robustness.This encryption method effectively improves the security and reliability of image encryption compared to other similar techniques. | Yan Hong Shihui Fang Jingming Su Wanqiu Xu Yuhao Wei Juan Wu Zhen Yang | 2023 | Computers, Materials & Continua2023,77,10: | 0 |
| 7 | Spatiotemporal variations in the growth status of declining wild apple trees in a narrow valley in the western Tianshan Mountains, China显示文摘Malus sieversii(wild apple tree),only distributed in the Tianshan Mountains in Central Asia,is a tertiary relic species and an ancestral species of cultivated apples.However,existing natural populations of wild apple trees have been declining.To date,spatiotemporal variations in the growth status of declining wild apple trees and influencing factors in the narrow valley areas in the Tianshan Mountains remain unclear.In this study,field investigation and sampling were carried out in three years(2016-2018)at four elevations(1300,1400,1500,and 1600 m)in the Qiaolakesai Valley(a typical longitudinal narrow valley in the Yili River Valley)of the western Tianshan Mountains in Xinyuan County,Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region,China.Projective coverage,dead branch percentage,and 18 twig traits(these 20 parameters were collectively referred to as plant traits)were determined to comprehensively reflect the growth status of declining wild apple trees.The values of dead branch percentage ranged from 36%to 59%,with a mean of 40%.Year generally showed higher impact on plant traits than elevation.In 2017 and 2018,projective coverage,leaf size,leaf nitrogen concentration,and nitrogen to phosphorous ratio were markedly higher than those in 2016.However,dead branch percentage and leaf and stem phosphorous concentrations showed the opposite trend.Most of the topological parameters of plant trait networks differed in the three years,but the strength of trait-trait association increased year by year.The mean difference between day and night temperatures(MDT),annual accumulative precipitation,soil electrical conductivity,and soil pH had the greatest impact on the plant trait matrix.The growth status of declining wild apple trees was directly and positively affected by MDT and leaf size.In conclusion,the growth of declining wild apple trees distributed in the narrow valley areas was more sensitive to interannual environmental changes than elevation changes.The results are of great significance for further revealing the decline mechanism of wild apple trees in the Tianshan Mountains. | QIU Dong TAO Ye ZHOU Xiaobing Bagila MAISUPOVA YAN Jingming LIU Huiliang LI Wenjun ZHUANG Weiwei ZHANG Yuanming | 2022 | Journal of Arid Land2022,14,12: | 0 |
