1Phase 1 clinical trial demonstrated that MUC1 positive metastatic seminal vesicle cancer can be effectively eradicated by modified Anti-MUC1 chimeric antigen receptor transduced T cells显示文摘Recent progress in chimeric antigen receptor-modified T-cell(CAR-T cell) technology in cancer therapy is extremely promising, especially in the treatment of patients with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia. In contrast, due to the hostile immunosuppressive microenvironment of a solid tumor, CAR T-cell accessibility and survival continue to pose a considerable challenge, which leads to their limited therapeutic efficacy. In this study, we constructed two anti-MUC1 CAR-T cell lines. One set of CAR-T cells contained SM3 single chain variable fragment(sc Fv) sequence specifically targeting the MUC1 antigen and co-expressing interleukin(IL) 12(named SM3-CAR). The other CAR-T cell line carried the SM3 sc Fv sequence modified to improve its binding to MUC1 antigen(named p SM3-CAR) but did not co-express IL-12. When those two types of CAR-T cells were injected intratumorally into two independent metastatic lesions of the same MUC1+ seminal vesicle cancer patient as part of an interventional treatment strategy, the initial results indicated no side-effects of the MUC1 targeting CAR-T cell approach, and patient serum cytokines responses were positive. 2Hierarchical yolk-shell structured Li-rich cathode boosting cycling and voltage stabled LIBs显示文摘Despite the high energy density of lithium-rich(Li-rich)cathodes,their implementation is hampered by the unsatisfied rate capacity and poor cycling performance accompanied with substantial voltage decay.To address these issues,the hierarchical yolk-shell structured Li_(1.2)Mn_(0.54)Ni_(0.13)Co_(0.13)O_(2)cathodes(YK-LMNCO)was proposed and synthesized through a facile glycerol assisted solvothermal approach and the following lithiation process.Benefitting from the shortened lithium diffusion lengths and the enhanced tolerance to the large volume variation upon lithium ions intercalation/de-intercalation,the unique structure reciprocates an initial coulombic efficiency of 85.8%,an outstanding capacity retention rate of 89.1%after cycling at 2.0 C for 200 cycles with a minor voltage drop,and a capacity retention rate of 93.8%after cycling at 10.0 C for 500 cycles,85.2%for 1,000 cycles.When assembled with graphite as anode,the YK-LMNCO//graphite full cell shows a remarkable capacity retention rate of 87.2%after cycling at 5.0 C for 50 cycles.Our facile strategy for constructing the yolk-shell structured Li-rich cathodes with high capacity and voltage stability sheds light on synthesizing other lithium storage materials.Yanchen Liu Yafen Chen Jing Wang Wei Wang Zhiyu Ding Leyuan Li Yang Zhang Yida Deng JunweiWu Yanan Chen 2022Nano Research2022,15,4:3
3Extrarenal Wilms’ Tumor of the Female Genital System:A Case Report and Literature Review显示文摘Extrarenal Wilms’ Tumors (ERWTs) are rare. There have been only 25 cases of ERWT arising from the female genital system reported in the literature. In this paper, we report a 60-year-old woman with a complaint of vaginal bleeding and a polypoid mass in the uterine cavity by sonography that was demonstrated as ERWT by pathology after resection. 4Dipole tilt controls bow shock location and flaring angle显示文摘The dipole tilt angle has beenfound to affect Earth's bow shock.This work presents a quantitative relationship between the dipole tilt angle and the bow shock location and flaring angle.We collected a large data set of bow shock crossings from four different satellites(IMP 8,Geotail,Magion 4,and Cluster),including some recent crossings obtained during 2012-2013.The results from a statistical analysis demonstrate that:(1)the subsolar standoff distance increases but the flaring angle decreases with increasing dipole tilt angle;(2)when the dipole tilt angle changes sign from negative to positive,the dayside bow shock moves toward Earth and the shift can be as much as 2.29 R_E,during which the flaring angle increases;and(3)the shape of bow shock in the northern and southern hemispheres differs.For the northern hemisphere bow shock,with increasing positive/negative dipole tilt angle,the flaring angle increases/decreases.While for the southern hemisphere,the trend is the opposite;with increasing positive/negative dipole tilt angle,the flaring angle decreases/increases.These results are helpful for future bow shock modeling that needs to include the effects of dipole tilt angle.LU JianYong YUAN HuanZhi WANG Ming YANG YaFen 2017Science China Earth Sciences2017,60,1:2
5A Highly Efficient and Selective Water-Soluble Bimetallic Catalyst for Hydrogenation of Chloronitrobenzene to Chloroaniline显示文摘Selective hydrogenation of chloronitrobenzene(CNB) to chloroaniline(CAN) catalyzed by water-soluble Ru/Pt bimetallic catalyst in an aqueous-organic biphasic system was studied. It was found that the catalytic activity increased obviously due to the addition of platinum. Ru/Pt bimetallic catalysts exhibited a strong synergistic effect when the molar ratio of Pt was in the range of 5%—80%. Under the mild conditions including a temperature of 25 ℃, a hydrogen pressure of 1.0 MPa and a Pt molar ratio of 20%, the conversion of p-chloronitrobenzene(p-CNB) reached 99.9%, with the selectivity to p-chloroaniline(p-CAN) equating to 99.4%. The Ru/Pt catalyst also showed high activity and selectivity for the hydrogenation of other chloro- and dichloro-nitrobenzenes with different substituted positions. 6N^(6)-methyladenosine and Its Implications in Viruses显示文摘N6-methyladenine(m^(6)A)is the most abundant RNA modification in mammalian messenger RNAs(mRNAs),which participates in and regulates many important biological activities,such as tissue development and stem cell differentiation.Due to an improved understanding of m^(6)A,researchers have discovered that the biological function of m^(6)A can be linked to many stages of mRNA metabolism and that m^(6)A can regulate a variety of complex biological processes.In addition to its location on mammalian mRNAs,m^(6)A has been identified on viral transcripts.m^(6)A also plays important roles in the life cycle of many viruses and in viral replication in host cells.In this review,we briefly introduce the detection methods of m^(6)A,the m^(6)A-related proteins,and the functions of m^(6)A.We also summarize the effects of m^(6)A-related proteins on viral replication and infection.We hope that this review provides researchers with some insights for elucidating the complex mechanisms of the epitranscriptome related to viruses,and provides information for further study of the mechanisms of other modified nucleobases acting on processes such as viral replication.We also anticipate that this review can stimulate collaborative research from different fields,such as chemistry,biology,and medicine,and promote the development of antiviral drugs and vaccines.Yafen Wang Xiang Zhou 2023Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2023,21,4:1
7Primary Study on Phytodegradation of Bisphenol A by Elodea nuttallii显示文摘In a microcosm system where Elodea nuttallii and Bisphenol A (BPA) coexist, with the help of Liquid chromatogra-phy-mass spectrometer (LC-MS) and gas chromatography-mass spectrometer (GC-MS), the dynamics of phytodegradation of BPA with concentration 1-20 mg/L and the products of phytodegrada-tion was studied. Antioxidation activity and phospholipids fatty acids were measured to evaluate the effects of BPA on E.nuttallii. The results showed that the half life period of phytodegradation of BPA was less than 15 days. 2-(4-hydroxypheny)-2-(3,4-o-dihy-droxypheny) propane and 2, 2-bis(4-hydroxypheny) propyl alco-hol were identified to be as two possible products of BPA. The peroxidase (POD) activity of E.nuttallii decreased by 50% to 100% compared with that controlled at the end of the experiment. The fatty acid methanol esters (FAMEs) changed obviously too. 11Near-surface structure from ambient-noise tomography and horizontal-to-vertical spectral ratio beneath the Nankou-Sunhe fault显示文摘Active faults pose a great threat to urban security.As the largest NW-trend active fault in Beijing area,the Nankou-Sunhe fault plays an important role in earthquake disaster and city construction.In this study,we collect continuous ambient noise data recorded by 43 temporary short-period seismograph between September 21th to October 12th 2019 to investigate the near-surface structure beneath the Nankou-Sunhe fault by using ambient noise tomography(ANT)and horizontal-to-vertical spectral ratio(HVSR)method.From ambient noise processing,fundamental-mode Rayleigh wave signals are clearly observed in the frequency band of 0.4-2.5 Hz.Then direct surface-wave inversion algorithm is applied to calculate the 3D shear-wave velocity model.Our results show that there is a sharp velocity contrast across the Nankou-Sunhe fault,with low velocities down to about 2 km on the hanging wall and high velocity on the footwall of the fault.According to the geological investigation,the low velocities are related to thicker sediments and Jurassic volcanic rock below which are the cap rock of the hydrothermal system.From the HVSR analysis,the HVSR curves of the sites near the fault shows double-peak,one less than 1 Hz and the other centered 7 Hz.After converting frequency to depth by the empirical equation,the results show that the thickness of sediments is thinned from southwest to northeast,which generally agrees well to field survey.Our results provide high-resolution near-surface structure for future study on disaster risk reduction and urban planning.Yuting Zhang Hongyi Li Yanzhen Li Zhijie Wei Zeyu Ma Huiying Ge Tongli Wang Yafen Huang Min Liu 2020Earthquake Science2020,33,5:0

15Chemical labelling for m^(6)A detection:opportunities and challenges显示文摘N^(6)-methyladenosine(m^(6)A)is one of the most abundant and important epigenetic modifications in eukaryotic mRNA.The finding that m^(6)A is a dynamic modification based on methyltransferase and demethylase has sparked a wave of‘epitranscriptomics’,although the term‘epitran-scriptomics’is still controversial.With increasingly intensive research,an increasing number of functions of m^(6)A have been explored,and the results have elucidated that m^(6)A is involved in the splicing,nuclear export,translation,and degradation of mRNA.m^(6)A also has some implications in human disease.For example,promoter-bound m^(6)A methy-lase METTL3 maintains acute myeloid leukemia(AML)through m^(6)A-dependent translation control[1].Recent studies have also found that overexpression of METTL3 promotes the development of AML and those small molecules inhibitors of METTL3 effectively inhibit the development of AML.These results represent an encouraging step towards the development of new drugs to treat AML[2].Yafen Wang Wei Yang Xiang Zhou 2022Fundamental Research2022,2,1:0

17A Metal-free Polyimide Photocatalyst for the Oxidation of Amines to Imines显示文摘Polyimide(PI) is an organic polymer material with good stability and diverse sources that has attracted widespread attention in the field of photocatalysis. In this study, a series of PI photocatalysts were synthesized by a thermal polymerization approach using pyromellitic dianhydride(PMDA) and various diamine monomers(melamine(MA), 4,4′-oxydianiline, and melem) as the precursors as well as different heating rates. The effects of the diamine precursor and heating rate on the structure, composition, morphology, and optical properties of the as-prepared PI materials were systematically investigated by various characterization techniques. The selective photo-oxidation of benzylamine was used as a model reaction to evaluate the photocatalytic activities of the resulting PI samples for the oxidation of amines to imines. The results revealed that the PI sample prepared using MA and PMDA as the precursors and a heating rate of 7 ℃/min(MA-PI-7) exhibited the best catalytic performance, with 98% benzylamine conversion and 98% selectivity for N-benzylidene benzylamine after 4 h of irradiation. Several benzylamine derivatives and heterocyclic amines also underwent the photo-oxidation reaction over the MA-PI-7 catalyst to afford the corresponding imines with good activity. 19Promotional Effect of CoO(OH) on Selective Hydrogenation of Maleic Anhydride to γ-Butyrolactone over Supported Ruthenium Catalyst显示文摘A decorated ruthenium catalyst was prepared by the coprecipitation method and used for the selective hydrogenation of maleic anhydride(MA) to γ-butyrolactone(GBL). The as-prepared catalyst was characterized by XRD, TGDTG and N2 adsorption techniques. The characterization tests revealed that the catalyst carrier was composed of monoclinic zirconia(m-ZrO2) and hydroxyl cobalt oxide(CoO(OH)). The hydrogenation results showed that the content of CoO(OH), the reaction temperature, the hydrogen pressure and the reaction time significantly affected the catalytic selectivity to GBL. The promotional effect of CoO(OH) was remarkable, which led to an obvious increase in GBL selectivity. 20Selective Hydrogenation of Maleic Anhydride to Succinic Anhydride over Nickel Catalyst Supported on Carbon Microspheres显示文摘The colloidal carbon microspheres(CMS)were prepared by the hydrothermal method.The nickel catalysts supported on carbon microspheres(Ni/CMS)were further prepared and were characterized by the Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),the X-ray diffraction(XRD),the scanning electron microscopy(SEM),the transmission electron microscopy(TEM),and the N_(2)adsorption technique.The selective hydrogenation of maleic anhydride(MA)to succinic anhydride(SA)over the Ni/CMS catalysts was investigated.The results indicated that the Ni/CMS catalyst,which was prepared with glucose as carbon source and calcined at 500℃,exhibited the best performance.The hydrogen pressure,reaction temperature,and reaction time could significantly affect the conversion of maleic anhydride during the hydrogenation reaction.A 98.4%conversion of MA and an 100%selectivity to SA were achieved over the Ni/CMS catalyst in acetic anhydride solvent under mild conditions covering a temperature of 90℃,a H2 pressure of 1.0 MPa,and a reaction time of 3 h.Zhou Yafen Chen Qilin Wang Qing Song Yu Zhou Limei 2021China Petroleum Processing & Petrochemical Technology2021,23,4:0
