1Antimicrobial peptide LL-37 forms complex with bacterial DNA to facilitate blood translocation of bacterial DNA and aggravate ulcerative colitis显示文摘Bacterial DNA(bacDNA) is frequently found in serum of patient with ulcerative colitis(UC) and Crohn's disease, even blood bacterial culture is negative. How bacDNA evades immune elimination and is translocated into blood remain unclear. Here, we showed that bacDNA avoids elimination and disables bacteriakilling function of antimicrobial peptide LL-37(Cramp in mice) by forming complex with LL-37, which is inducible after culture with bacteria or bacterial products. Elevated LL-37-bacDNA complex was found in plasma and lesions of patients with UC. LL-37-bacDNA promoted inflammation by inducing Th1, Th2 and Th17 differentiation and activating toll-like receptor-9(TLR9). The complex also increased paracellular permeability, which possibly combines its inflammatory effects to promote local damage and bacDNA translocation into blood. Cramp-bacDNA aggravated mouse colitis severity while interference with the complex ameliorated the disease. The study identifies that inflammatogenic bacDNA utilizes LL-37 as a vehicle for blood translocation and to evade immune elimination. 5A 16-bit Hybrid ADC with Circular-Adder-Based Counting for 15μm Pitch 640×512 LWIR FPAs显示文摘A hybrid Analog to digital converter(ADC) is presented for long-wave infrared focal plane arrays. A two-stage quantization structure is applied in the folding integration process, which results in better chargehandling capacity and higher linearity compared with conventional designs while using fewer transistors at the pixel level. By employing a circular-adder-based counting structure with 3 T dynamic memory cells, hardware consumption can be reduced. A pixel circuit of pitch15μm has been designed using the 0.18μm Complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor(CMOS) process. The power consumption of the pixel-level ADC is 0.214μW, and the charge-handling capacity is 1 Ge-. 8From protonation & Li-rich contamination to grain-boundary segregation: Evaluations of solvent-free vs. wet routes on preparing Li_(7)La_(3)Zr_(2)O_(12) solid electrolyte显示文摘Garnet-type Li_(7)La_(3)Zr_(2)O_(12)(LLZO) has been recognized as a candidate solid electrolyte for high-safety Lianode based solid-state batteries because of its electro-chemical stability against Li-metal and high ionic conductivity. Solvent(e.g., isopropanol(IPA)) has been commonly applied for preparing LLZO powders and ceramics. However, the deterioration of the proton-exchange between LLZO and IPA/absorbed moisture during the mixing and tailoring route has aroused less attention. In this study, a solvent-free dry milling route was developed for preparing the LLZO powders and ceramics. For orthogonal four categories of samples prepared using solvent-free and IPA-assisted routes in the mixing and tailoring processes, the critical evaluation was conducted on the crystallinity, surficial morphology, and contamination of ascalcinated and as-tailored particles, the cross-sectional microstructure of green and sintered pellets,the morphology and electro-chemical properties of grain boundaries in ceramics, as well as the interfacial resistance and performance of Li anode based symmetric batteries. The wet route introduced Li-rich contaminations(e.g., Li OH·H)_(2)O and Li)_(2)CO)_(3)) onto the surfaces of LLZO particles and Li-Ta-O segregations at the adjacent and triangular grain boundaries. The LLZO solid electrolytes prepared through dry mixing in combination with the dry tailoring route without the use of any solvent were found to the optimal performance. 9Constructing stable Li-solid electrolyte interphase to achieve dendrites-free solid-state battery:A nano-interlayer/Li prereduction strategy显示文摘Solid-state batteries based on Li and nonflammable solid-state electrolytes(SSEs)have aroused the attention of numerous researchers because of their absolute safety and potentially high energy density.Most SSEs after coming into contact with Li are reduced,which leads to high interfacial charge-transfer impedance and dendrites formation.In this study,an“interlayer-Li pre-reduction strategy”was proposed to solve the above problem of reduction.An intermediate layer was introduced between solid electrolyte and Li,and it reacted with Li to produce a stable and ion-conductive interphase.Cubic garnet-type Nb-doped Li_(7)La_(3)Zr_(2)O_(12)(Nb-LLZO)was selected as an example solid electrolyte since it is characterized by high ionic conductivity,feasible preparation under ambient conditions,as well as low cost.The high impedance arising from the reduction at the Nb-LLZO|Li interface has limited its application.In this paper,a nano-scale Li phosphorus oxynitride(LiPON)layer was deposited on the Nb-LLZO pellets through radio frequency(RF)magnetron sputtering,which pre-reacted with Li in-situ to produce a lithiophilic,electronically insulating,and ionic conductive interphase.The produced interphase significantly inhibited the reduction of Nb5+against Li and the formation and propagation of Li dendrites.It is noteworthy that Li|LiPON|Nb-LLZO|LiPON|Li cells stably cycled for over 2,000 h without any short circuit.This study emphasizes and demonstrates the significance of the pre-conversion of modification layer between unstable SSE and Li metal to improve interfacial stability.Yajun Niu Zhaozhe Yu Yongjian Zhou Jiawen Tang Maoxin Li Zechao Zhuang Yan Yang Xiao Huang Bingbing Tian 2022Nano Research2022,15,8:0
10Preparation of Compound Ban Huang Oral Liquid显示文摘[Objectives] To determine the optimal preparation process of compound Ban Huang oral liquid. [Methods] Orthogonal test and other methods were used to optimize the preparation conditions of compound Ban Huang oral liquid. [Results] The optimal conditions determined were as follows: soaking for 12 h,decocting twice with 2 h per time,concentrating filtrate to 1. 18-1. 25 g/m L at 80 ℃,ethanol precipitating twice with ethanol contents of 600 and 750 ml/L,standing for 24 h. 11Efficacy and safety of Weichang’an pill(胃肠安丸)combined with Western Medicine on gastrointestinal diseases:a systematic review and Meta-analysis显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To systematically evaluate the efficacy and safety of Weichang’an pill(胃肠安丸,WCA)combined with Western Medicine(WM)for the treatment of gastrointestinal diseases.METHODS:Eight databases,including China National Knowledge Infrastructure Database,Wanfang Data,China Science and Technology Journal Database,SinoMed,PubMed,Web of Science,Cochrane Library,and Embase,were searched for randomized controlled trials(RCTs)of WCA from inception to 30 September 2021.We independently screened the literature,extracted data,and then evaluated the bias risk,effectiveness,safety,and other indicators of the included articles.RESULTS:A total of 33 RCTs were included in this study with 3368 patients.After analysis,it was found that WCA combined with WM could effectively prevent and treat antibiotic-associated gastrointestinal reaction,functional dyspepsia(FD),irritable bowel syndrome,rotavirus diarrhea(RVD),and ulcerative colitis(UC);no serious adverse reactions occurred.Moreover,compared with the control group,the experimental group showed significantly improved symptoms and some biochemical parameters.CONCLUSIONS:WCA combined with WM for the treatment of gastrointestinal diseases had better clinical efficacy than the control group,without serious adverse reactions.Notably,in the treatment of FD,RVD,and UC,WCA improved clinical symptoms and biochemical indicator expression.Nevertheless,owing to the restricted quality and quantity of the literature,the results need to be further studied using high-quality RCTs.WANG Jiabao ZHANG Lishuang NIU Baihan YU Yajun YANG Fengwen MIAO Lin CHAI Lijuan DING Xinya SUN Yingjie WANG Yujing WANG Lin ZHANG Han WANG Yi LI Lin 2023Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2023,43,6:0
