1How often should one update control and estimation:review of networked triggering techniques显示文摘Management of resources is a constant topic in industrial systems. How to use minimum communication resources is of particular interest for control and estimation of networked systems. It raises the question for researchers in the field: how often should one update control and estimation? One of the most intelligent approaches is to trigger updates by events. In the literature, event-triggered control and estimation have been widely studied in the last decade. On one hand, events should be triggered sufficiently frequent to maintain system performance;on the other hand, the possibility of Zeno behavior caused by infinite frequency should be avoided. This review aims at revisiting some existing triggering techniques in a unified formulation, separated from system dynamics and control and estimation strategies. 3Single copper sites dispersed on hierarchically porous carbon for improving oxygen reduction reaction towards zinc-air battery显示文摘The demand for high-performance non-precious-metal electrocatalysts to replace the noble metal-based catalysts for oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)is intensively increasing.Herein,single-atomic copper sites supported on N-doped three-dimensional hierarchically porous carbon catalyst(Cu_(1)/NC)was prepared by coordination pyrolysis strategy.Remarkably,the Cu_(1)/NC-900 catalyst not only exhibits excellent ORR performance with a half-wave potential of 0.894 V(vs.RHE)in alkaline media,outperforming those of commercial Pt/C(0.851 V)and Cu nanoparticles anchored on N-doped porous carbon(CuNPs/NC-900),but also demonstrates high stability and methanol tolerance.Moreover,the Cu_(1)/NC-900 based Zn-air battery exhibits higher power density,rechargeability and cyclic stability than the one based on Pt/C.Both experimental and theoretical investigations demonstrated that the excellent performance of the as-obtained Cu_(1)/NC-900 could be attributed to the synergistic effect between copper coordinated by three N atoms active sites and the neighbouring carbon defect,resulting in elevated Cu d-band centers of Cu atoms and facilitating intermediate desorption for ORR process.This study may lead towards the development of highly efficient non-noble metal catalysts for applications in electrochemical energy conversion.Wenjie Wu Yan Liu Dong Liu Wenxing Chen Zhaoyi Song Ximin Wang Yamin Zheng Ning Lu Chunxia Wang Junjie Mao Yadong Li 2021Nano Research2021,14,4:4

6Testing the role of genetic variation of the MC4R gene in Chinese population in antipsychotic-induced metabolic disturbance显示文摘Antipsychotic-induced metabolic disturbance(AIMD) is a common adverse effect of antipsychotics with genetics partly underpinning variation in susceptibility among schizophrenia patients. Melanocortin4 receptor(MC4 R) gene, one of the candidate genes for AIMD, has been under-studied in the Chinese patients. We conducted a pharmacogenetic study in a large cohort of Chinese patients with schizophrenia. In this study, we investigated the genetic variation of MC4 R in Chinese population by genotyping two SNPs(rs489693 and rs17782313) in 1,991 Chinese patients and examined association of these variants with the metabolic effects that were often observed to be related to AIMD. Metabolic measures, including body mass index(BMI), waist circumference(WC), glucose, triglyceride, high-density lipoprotein(HDL), and low-density lipoprotein(LDL) levels were assessed at baseline and after 6-week antipsychotic treatment. We found that interaction of SNP×medication status(drug-na?ve/medicated) was significantly associated with BMI, WC, and HDL change %, respectively. Both SNPs were significantly associated with baseline BMI and WC in the medicated group. Moderate association of rs489693 with WC, Triglyceride, and HDL change % were observed in the whole sample. In the drug-na?ve group, we found recessive effects of rs489693 on BMI gain more than 7%, WC and Triglyceride change %, with AA incurring more metabolic adverse effects. In conclusion, the association between rs489693 and the metabolic measures is ubiquitous but moderate. Rs17782313 is less involved in AIMD. 7Robust Output Regulation Problem for Discrete-Time Linear Systems with Both Input and Communication Delays显示文摘Recently, the robust output regulation problem for continuous-time linear systems with both input and communication time-delays was studied. This paper will further present the results on the robust output regulation problem for discrete-time linear systems with input and communication delays. The motivation of this paper comes from two aspects. First, it is known that the solvability of the output regulation problem for linear systems is dictated by two matrix equations. While, for delay-free systems, these two matrix equations are same for both continuous-time systems and discretetime systems, they are different for continuous-time time-delay systems and discrete-time time-delay systems. Second, the stabilization methods for continuous-time time-delay systems and discrete-time time-delay systems are also somehow different. 8A two-stage optimization method for unmanned aerial vehicle inspection of an oil and gas pipeline network显示文摘Oil and gas pipeline networks are a key link in the coordinated development of oil and gas both upstream and downstream.To improve the reliability and safety of the oil and gas pipeline network, inspections are implemented to minimize the risk of leakage, spill and theft, as well as documenting actual incidents. In recent years, unmanned aerial vehicles have been recognized as a promising option for inspection due to their high efficiency. However, the integrated optimization of unmanned aerial vehicle inspection for oil and gas pipeline networks, including physical feasibility, the performance of mission, cooperation, real-time implementation and three-dimensional(3-D) space, is a strategic problem due to its large-scale,complexity as well as the need for efficiency. In this work, a novel mixed-integer nonlinear programming model is proposed that takes into account the constraints of the mission scenario and the safety performance of unmanned aerial vehicles. To minimize the total length of the inspection path, the model is solved by a two-stage solution method. Finally, a virtual pipeline network and a practical pipeline network are set as two examples to demonstrate the performance of the optimization schemes. 10Deposition of Ag Nanoparticles on Carbon Microspheres Surface:Evaluation of Structures,Electrochemical and Optical Properties显示文摘A hybrid material of carbon microspheres(CMSs) with Ag decoration(Ag/CMSs) was developed.Poly(3-hexylthiophene):Ag/CMSs composite film was prepared by spin-coating.Scanning electron microscopy,transmission electron microscopy,Fourier transform infrared spectrometry,X-ray diffraction,thermogravimetric analysis and cyclic voltammetry were employed to analyze the morphologies,structures,thermal properties and energy levels of Ag/CMSs.The optical property of the composite films was characterized by ultraviolet-visible spectrophotometry and fluorescent spectrometry.The results indicate that silver nanoparticles(AgNPs,d = 10-20 nm) are distributed on the surface of CMSs.LUMO and HOMO energy levels of Ag/CMSs are-3.97 and-5.52 e V,below the vacuum energy level,respectively,indicating that it is feasible to use Ag/CMSs as an electron acceptor.Ag NPs are blended into the active layer to trigger localized surface plasmon resonance,and consequently enhance light harvesting.The coupling of surface plasmons and excitons increased the probability of exciton dissociation.杨维佳 HAO Yamin YAN Lingpeng 杨永珍 陈永康 LIU Xuguang XU Bingshe 2016Journal of Wuhan University of Technology(Materials Science)2016,31,4:1

13Hydrogen-incorporated vanadium dioxide nanosheets enable efficient uranium confinement and photoreduction显示文摘Photocatalytic reduction of U(VI)represents a novel and effective manner for the removal of U(VI)pollutant from radioactive wastewater.Herein,we successfully incorporated hydrogen into VO_(2)nanosheets,which strengthened the interaction between VO_(2)and U(VI),thereby achieving a highly active and stable photocatalyst for U(VI)reduction.With the increase of H content in hydric VO_(2)(H_(x)-VO_(2))nanosheets,the bandgap shrank from 2.29 to 1.66 eV,whereas the position of conduction bands remained more negative than the reduction potential of U(VI)/U(IV)(0.41 V vs.NHE).When irradiated by simulated sunlight,the U(VI)removal efficiency over H0.613-VO_(2)nanosheets reached up to 95.4%within 90 min,which largely outperformed 28.3%of pristine VO_(2)nanosheets.The mechanistic study demonstrated that the hydroxylated surface gave rise to the balanced O confinement sites in VO_(2)(011),leading to the stabilized adsorption configuration and increased binding strength of UO_(2)^(2+)on H_(x)-VO_(2)nanosheets.Huanhuan Liu Jia Lei Jiali Chen Ye Li Changyao Gong Shangjie Yang Yamin Zheng Ning Lu Yan Liu Wenkun Zhu Rong He 2022Nano Research2022,15,4:1

15Long non-coding RNA BACE1-AS plays an oncogenic role in hepatocellular carcinoma cells through miR-214-3p/APLN axis显示文摘BACE1 antisense RNA (BACE1-AS) is implicated in promoting cell proliferation in different types of tumors. However, the function and mechanism of BACE1-AS in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) are still unclear. In the present study, we found that the relative expression of BACE1-AS in HCC cell lines, HCC tissues, and serum samples of HCC patients was significantly increased, and its high expression was correlated with the poor prognosis of HCC patients. In addition, overexpression of BACE1 promoted HCC cell proliferation, cell cycle progression, migration, and invasion, but inhibited cell apoptosis, while knockdown of BACE1 exerted the opposite role. Furthermore, BACE1-AS sponged miR-214-3p and inhibited its expression, thus promoting Apelin (APLN) expression. Overexpression or knockdown of miR-214-3p could partially reverse the abnormal proliferation, cell cycle progression, migration, invasion, and apoptosis caused by overexpression or knockdown of BACE1. 16Predicting the Risk of Preterm Birth Throughout Pregnancy Based on a Novel Transcriptomic Signature显示文摘Objective::This study focused on the prediction of preterm birth(PTB).It aimed to identify the transcriptomic signature essential for the occurrence of PTB and evaluate its predictive value in early,mid,and late pregnancy and in women with threatened preterm labor(TPTL).Methods::Blood transcriptome data of pregnant women were obtained from the Gene Expression Omnibus database.The activity of biological signatures was assessed using gene set enrichment analysis and single-sample gene set enrichment analysis.The correlation among molecules in the interleukin 6(IL6)signature and between IL6 signaling activity and the gestational week of delivery and latent period were evaluated by Pearson correlation analysis.The effects of molecules associated with the IL6 signature were fitted using logistic regression analysis;the predictive value of both the IL6 signature and IL6 alone were evaluated using receiver operating characteristic curves and pregnancy maintenance probability was assessed using Kaplan-Meier analysis.Differential analysis was performed using the DEseq2 and limma algorithms.Results::Circulatory IL6 signaling activity increased significantly in cases with preterm labor than in those with term pregnancies(normalized enrichment score(NES)=1.857,P=0.001).The IL6 signature(on which IL6 signaling is based)was subsequently considered as the candidate biomarker for PTB.The area under the curve(AUC)values for PTB prediction(using the IL6 signature)in early,mid,and late pregnancy were 0.810,0.695,and 0.779,respectively;these values were considerably higher than those for IL6 alone.In addition,the pregnancy curves of women with abnormal IL6 signature differed significantly from those with normal signature.In pregnant women who eventually had preterm deliveries,circulatory IL6 signaling activity was lower in early pregnancy(NES=-1.420,P=0.031)and higher than normal in mid(NES=1.671,P=0.002)and late pregnancy(NES=2.350,P<0.001).In women with TPTL,the AUC values for PTB prediction(or PTB within 7 days and 48 hours)using the IL6 signature were 0.761,0.829,and 0.836,respectively;the up-regulation of IL6 signaling activity and its correlation with the gestational week of delivery(r=-0.260,P=0.001)and latency period(r=-0.203,P=0.012)were more significant than in other women.Conclusion::Our findings suggest that the IL6 signature may predict PTB,even in early pregnancy(although the predictive power is relatively weak in mid pregnancy)and is particularly effective in symptomatic women.These findings may contribute to the development of an effective predictive and monitoring system for PTB,thereby reducing maternal and fetal risk.Yuxin Ran Dongni Huang Nanlin Yin Yanqing Wen Yan Jiang Yamin Liu Hongbo Qi 2023Maternal-Fetal Medicine2023,5,4:0

20Incorporating redox-sensitive nanogels into bioabsorbable nanofibrous membrane to acquire ROS-balance capacity for skin regeneration显示文摘Facing the high incidence of skin diseases,it is urgent to develop functional materials with high bioactivity for wound healing,where reactive oxygen species(ROS)play an important role in the wound healing process mainly via adjustment of immune response and neovasculation.In this study,we developed a kind of bioabsorbable materials with ROS-mediation capacity for skin disease therapy.Firstly,redox-sensitive poly(N-isopropylacrylamide-acrylic acid)(PNA)nanogels were synthesized by radical emulsion polymerization method using a disulfide molecule as crosslinker.The resulting nanogels were then incorporated into the nanofibrous membrane of poly(L-lactic acid)(PLLA)via airbrushing approach to offer bioabsorbable membrane with redox-sensitive ROS-balance capacity.In vitro biological evaluation indicated that the PNA-contained bioabsorbable membrane improved cell adhesion and proliferation compared to the native PLLA membrane.In vivo study using mouse wound skin model demonstrated that PNA-doped nanofibrous membranes could promote the wound healing process,where the disulfide bonds in them were able to adjust the ROS level in the wound skin for mediation of redox potential to achieve higher wound healing efficacy.Shihao Zhang Yamin Li Xiaofeng Qiu Anqi Jiao Wei Luo Xiajie Lin Xiaohui Zhang Zeren Zhang Jiachan Hong Peihao Cai Yuhong Zhang Yan Wu Jie Gao Changsheng Liu Yulin Li 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,10:0
