2Direct observation of ultrafast plasmonic hot electron transfer in the strong coupling regime显示文摘Achieving strong coupling between plasmonic oscillators can significantly modulate their intrinsic optical properties.Here,we report the direct observation of ultrafast plasmonic hot electron transfer from an Au grating array to an MoS_(2) monolayer in the strong coupling regime between localized surface plasmons(LSPs)and surface plasmon polaritons(SPPs).By means of femtosecond pump-probe spectroscopy,the measured hot electron transfer time is approximately 40 fs with a maximum external quantum yield of 1.65%.Our results suggest that strong coupling between LSPs and SPPs has synergetic effects on the generation of plasmonic hot carriers,where SPPs with a unique nonradiative feature can act as an‘energy recycle bin’to reuse the radiative energy of LSPs and contribute to hot carrier generation.Coherent energy exchange between plasmonic modes in the strong coupling regime can further enhance the vertical electric field and promote the transfer of hot electrons between the Au grating and the MoS_(2) monolayer.Our proposed plasmonic strong coupling configuration overcomes the challenge associated with utilizing hot carriers and is instructive in terms of improving the performance of plasmonic opto-electronic devices.Hangyong Shan Ying Yu Xingli Wang Yang Luo Shuai Zu Bowen Du Tianyang Han Bowen Li Yu Li Jiarui Wu Feng Lin Kebin Shi Beng Kang Tay Zheng Liu Xing Zhu Zheyu Fang 2019Light(Science & Applications)2019,8,1:7

4Phase I study of chimeric anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody in Chinese patients with CD20-positive non-Hodgkin's lymphoma显示文摘Objective: This study was designed to determine the safety, pharmacokinetics and biologic effects of a humanmouse chimeric anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody(SCT400) in Chinese patients with CD20-positive B-cell nonHodgkin's lymphoma(CD20+ B-cell NHL). SCT400 has an identical amino acid sequence as rituximab, with the exception of one amino acid in the CH1 domain of the heavy chain, which is common in Asians.Methods: Fifteen patients with CD20+ B-cell NHL received dose-escalating SCT400 infusions(250 mg/m^2: n=3; 375 mg/m^2: n=9; 500 mg/m^2: n=3) once weekly for 4 consecutive weeks with a 24-week follow-up period. The data of all patients were collected for pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics analyses.Results: No dose-limiting toxicities were observed. Most drug-related adverse events were grade 1 or 2. Two patients had grade 3 or 4 neutropenia. Under premedication, the drug-related infusion reaction was mild. A rapid, profound and durable depletion of circulating B cells was observed in all dose groups without significant effects on T cell count, natural killer(NK) cell count or immunoglobulin levels. No patient developed antiSCT400 antibodies during the course of the study. SCT400 serum half-life(T1/2), maximum concentration(Cmax) and area under the curve(AUC) generally increased between the first and fourth infusions(P<0.05). At the 375 mg/m^2 dose, the T1/2 was 122.5±46.7 h vs. 197.0±75.0 h, respectively, and the Cmax was 200.6±20.2 μg/m L vs. 339.1±71.0 μg/m L, respectively. From 250 mg/m^2 to 500 mg/m^2, the Cmax and AUC increased significantly in a dose-dependent manner(P<0.05). Patients with a high tumor burden had markedly lower serum SCT400 concentrations compared with those without or with a low tumor burden. 5Autologous peripheral blood stem cell mobilization following dose-adjusted cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine and prednisolone chemotherapy alone or in combination with rituximab in treating high-risk non-Hodgkin's lymphoma显示文摘Background: The regimen of cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, and prednisolone(CHOP) is an eicient treatment of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma(NHL). This study aimed to assess the eicacy and toxicity of dose-adjusted CHOP alone or in combination with rituximab(R-CHOP) by examining the stem cell mobilization in NHL patients. Factors afecting the collection of CD34+ cells were also explored.Methods: Our retrospective study included 39 patients eligible for autologous stem cell transplantation: 14 patients who expressed CD20 and were inancially eligible received R-CHOP for autologous peripheral blood stem cell(APBSC) mobilization; the remaining 25 patients received CHOP.Results: The median CD34+ cell yield was 7.01 × 106 cells/kg body weight(range 1.49–28.39 × 106 cells/kg body weight), with only two patients failing to meet the target CD34+ cell harvest of ber of apheresis procedures per patient was 1(range 1–3). The≥2.0 APBS× 106 cells/kg body weight. The median numC mobilization yield of the CHOP group appeared to be higher than that of the R-CHOP group(P response(CR) rate in = 0.005), whereas the success rate was similar between groups. R-CHOP elevated the completeB cell lymphoma patients as compared with CHOP(P = 0.01). 8Study on imaging method for measuring droplet size in large sprays显示文摘Information of droplet size and size distribution lays the basis for investigations of atomization mechanisms and performance optimization.However,the laser diffraction and phase Doppler particle analyzers have difficulty in accurately characterizing sprays with a wide range of droplet sizes and very large droplets,especially if a large number of droplets are aspherical.A method to measure size in such largedroplet sprays based on digital imaging with backward illumination was developed,including an image acquisition system and image process programs.Calibration of the measurement system was performed using a dot calibration target with different dot sizes.An experimental setup was designed and established to characterize spray nozzles under different operation loads,as well as different nozzle arrangements.Results show that the droplet size of sprays ranges from dozens of microns to several millimeters.The superiority of wide load range for such nozzles was indicated by the size-measurement results under half-load to full-load operations.The present study revealed that the image processing technique can be effectively implemented for in-line size measurements of sprays with a wide distribution of droplet size and aspherical droplets,which would be difficult to characterize by other methods.Wu Zhou Jiarui Hu Mingliang Feng Bin Yang Xiaoshu Cai 2015Particuology2015,13,5:3

10Laser-driven plasma collider for nuclear studies显示文摘A novel method of initiating nuclear fusion reactions in a full plasma environment was suggested, and a proof-of-concept experiment was carried out with the D t D ! n t3 He reaction. In this new approach, two plasma jets generated by high-intensity lasers collide headon-head. The center-of-mass energy of the nuclei increases accordingly, and therefore, reaction products can be significantly enhanced, especially in the sub-Coulomb barrier ranges. As a result of the fusion reaction, up to 7:6 105 neutrons had been observed. 14Achieving white-light emission in a single-component polymer with halogen-assisted interaction显示文摘White-light emitting(WLE) polymers have attracted continuous attention for their promising applications in solid-state lighting,flexible display and related fields. However, achieving dual-emission and pure white-light emission in a single-component polymer is still challenging. In this study, a brominated single-component polymer Br OD-TFB was designed and synthesized,which shows dual-emission and white light emission properties in solution and room-temperature phosphorescence(RTP) in thin films. The dual-emission properties can be tuned by concentration, solvent polarity, and excitation energy. Spectral analyses and theoretical calculations reveal that the origin of the high-energy emission band(HEB) is intramolecular charge transfer(ICT)along the polymer chain, whilst the low-energy emission band(LEB) originates from the excited-state related to the intra-chain and inter-chain C–Br···π interactions as demonstrated by the single-crystal structure of the model compound. Appropriate control of the formation and the destruction of the halogen-assisted interactions can initiate white-light emission in the singlecomponent polymer. 16Single-crystalline Mn-based oxide as a high-rate and long-life cathode material for potassium-ion battery显示文摘Mn-based oxides are promising cathode materials for potassium-ion batteries due to their high theoretical ca-pacity and abundant raw materials.However,the anisotropic properties of their conventional polycrystalline structures lead to insufficient rate capability and cycle life.Here,a single-crystal Mn-based layered oxide,P3′-type K_(0.35)Mn_(0.8)Fe_(0.1)Cu_(0.1)O_(2)(KMFCO),is designed and synthesized through a bimetallic co-induction effect and used as a cathode for potassium-ion battery.Benefiting from a unique single-crystal structure that is devoid of grain boundaries,it achieves a higher Kþtransport rate and a reduced volume change during the Kþintercalation/deintercalation process.Accordingly,the single-crystal P3′-type KMFCO delivers superior rate capability(52.9 mAh g^(-1) at 1000 mA g^(-1))and excellent cycling stability(91.1%capacity retention after 500 cycles at 500 mA g^(-1)).A full cell assembled with the P3′-type KMFCO cathode and a graphite anode also exhibits a high reversible capacity(81.2 mAh g^(-1) at 100 mA g^(-1))and excellent cycling performance(97%capacity retention after 300 cycles).The strategy of developing single-crystal materials may offer a new pathway for maintaining structural stability and improving the rate capability of layered manganese oxide cathodes and beyond.Jiarui Lv Bin Wang Jiaxin Hao Hongbo Ding Ling Fan Renqian Tao Hongguan Yang Jiang Zhou Bingan Lu 2023eScience2023,3,1:1
17Insights into the mechanism of the deterioration of mainstream partial nitritation/anammox under low residual ammonium显示文摘Residual ammonium is a critical parameter affecting the stability of mainstream partial nitritation/anammox(PN/A), but the underlying mechanism remains unclear. In this study,mainstream PN/A was established and operated with progressively decreasing residual ammonium. PN/A deteriorated as the residual ammonium decreased to below 5 mg/L, and this was paralleled by a significant loss in anammox activity in situ and an increasing nitrite oxidation rate. Further analysis revealed that the low-ammonium condition directly decreased anammox activity in situ via two distinct mechanisms. First, anammox bacteria were located in the inner layer of the granular sludge, and thus were disadvantageous when competing for ammonium with ammonium-oxidizing bacteria(AOB) in the outer layer. Second, the complete ammonia oxidizer(comammox) was enriched at low residual ammonium concentrations because of its high ammonium affinity. Both AOB and comammox presented kinetic advantages over anammox bacteria. At high residual ammonium concentrations,nitrite-oxidizing bacteria(NOB) were effectively suppressed, even when their maximum activity was high due to competition for nitrite with anammox bacteria. At low residual ammonium concentrations, the decrease in anammox activity in situ led to an increase in nitrite availability for nitrite oxidation, facilitating the activation of NOB despite the dissolved oxygen limitation(0.15–0.35 mg/L) for NOB persisting throughout the operation. Therefore, the deterioration of mainstream PN/A at low residual ammonium was primarily triggered by a decline in anammox activity in situ. 18Biomechanical evaluation of two fusion techniques based on finite element analysis:Percutaneous endoscopic and minimally invasive transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion显示文摘As a novel minimally invasive technique,percutaneous endoscopic transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion(PETLIF)has been widely used in the treatment of lumbar degenerative diseases.The purpose of this study was to analyze these two operation types’biomechanical performances of PE-TLIF and traditional minimally invasive transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion(MIS-TLIF)using the finite element(FE)method.The intact FE models of L4-L5 were established and validated based on the CT images.On this basis,the FE models of MIS-TLIF and PETLIF were established and analyzed.It is demonstrated that for lumbar interbody fusion with the oblique asymmetrically implanted cage under bilateral pedicle screws and rods fixation,such as MIS-TLIF and PE-TLIF,different degrees of articular process resection have no significant effect on the cage subsidence,and the surgical segment can achieve similar stability.In addition,the maximum stress of the L4 inferior endplate of MIS-TLIF and PE-TLIF is greater than that of the L5 superior endplate,which indicates that MIS-TLIF and PE-TLIF can cause cage subsidence in the L4 inferior endplate.Yang Yan Jiarui Li Jianhao Yu Yan Wang Hao Dong Yuqin Sun Xiaogang Wu Liming He Weiyi Chen Haoyu Feng 2022Medicine in Novel Technology and Devices2022,,4:1
19Characteristics,Types,and Prospects of Geological Sweet Sections in Giant Continental Shale Oil Provinces in China显示文摘“Sweet sections”in giant shale oil provinces are preferential fields that primarily support China to increase the reserves and production of continental shale oil.Based on the study of the geological conditions of shale oil in the continental basins in China,it was found that the shale stratum in major oil generation windows generally has higher degrees of oil and gas accumulation,and mostly contains oil.Hydrocarbon generation and reservoir capacities are the two key parameters for evaluating and optimizing favorable shale oil provinces.The evaluation index(volume of shale stratum multiplied by total organic carbon(TOC)multiplied by total porosity)for the giant continental shale oil provinces is also proposed.It is optimized that the Upper Triassic Chang 7 Member in the southcentral Ordos Basin,Lower Cretaceous Qing 1 Member in the Gulong-Changling Sag in the Songliao Basin,Middle-Lower Permian in the Junggar Basin,Da’anzhai Member of the Ziliujing Formation of Lower Jurassic in the central and northern Sichuan Basin,and Paleogene oil-rich sag in the Bohai Bay Basin are the five giant continental shale oil provinces.The word“geological sweet sections”in continental shale oil provinces of China refers to favorable shale intervals which are relatively rich in oil,with superior physical properties,and more easily modified and developed commercially under applicable economic and technological conditions.After evaluation,there are mainly two types of“geological sweet sections”of giant continental shale oil developed onshore in China.One type of“geological sweet sections”is generally mudstone with optimal physical properties or a thin tight reservoir,to which the shale oil migrates a short distance.They are medium-to-high-mature zones with a thin sandy shale stratum in the Chang 7 Member in the Ordos Basin,mixed shale stratum in the mediummature Lucaogou Formation in the Jimsar Sag,and multi-layered mixed Paleogene shale stratum in the Bohai Bay Basin.The other type of“geological sweet sections”is generally shale oil residing in various shale reservoir spaces.This type was developed in the Qing 1 Member in the Gulong Sag and Da’anzhai Member in the north-central Sichuan Basin.Free shale oil mainly occurs in shale,sandycarbonate lamina,micro-lamella structure,and micro-fractures.Layers with lamina,lamination,and micro-fractures are generally shale oil“geological sweet sections.”Starting from field tests and the construction of the“geological sweet sections”in giant continental shale oil provinces,the shale oil industry has been rapidly developing and will become an important supplement to domestic oil production in China.Zhi Yang Caineng Zou Songtao Wu Songqi Pan Xiaoni Wang Haitao Liu Wenqi Jiang Jiarui Li Qiyan Li Xiaobing Niu Guohui Li Zhenxing Tang Xuguang Guo Dong Huang Qizhao Wei 2022Journal of Earth Science2022,33,5:1
