1Biomarker Records of Phytoplankton Productivity and Community Structure Changes in the Central Yellow Sea Mud Area During the Mid-Late Holocene显示文摘The Yellow Sea(YS)environmental and ecological changes during the Holocene are driven by the interactions between the Yellow Sea Warm Current(YSWC),the East Asian Winter Monsoon(EAWM)and the Kuroshio Current(KC).We report marine biomarker records of brassicasterol,dinosterol and C37 alkenones in core ZY1 and core ZY2 from the South Yellow Sea(SYS)to reconstruct the spatial/temporal variations and possible mechanisms of phytoplankton primary productivity and community structure changes during the Mid-late Holocene.The contents of the corresponding biomarkers in the two cores are similar,and they also reveal broadly similar temporal trends.From 6 kyr to 3 kyr,the biomarker contents in the two cores were relatively low with small oscillations,followed by a distinct increase at about 3 kyr indicating productivity increases caused by a stronger EAWM.The alkenone/brassicasterol ratio(A/B)is used as a community structure proxy,which also showed higher values in both cores since 3 kyr,indicating increased haptophyte contribution to total productivity.It is proposed that the YS community structure has been mainly influenced by the YSWC,with stronger YSWC influences causing an increase in haptophyte contribution since 3 kyr.Some differences of the biomarker records between ZY2 and ZY1 suggest spatial variations in response to YSWC and KC forcing.When the KC was intensified during the periods of 6 4.2 kyr and 1.7 0 kyr,the YSWC extended eastward,exerting more influence on core ZY1.On the other hand,when the KC weakened during 4.2 1.7 kyr,the YSWC extended westward,exerting more influence on the ZY2.ZHAO Xiaochen TAO Shuqin ZHANG Rongping ZHANG Hailong YANG Zuosheng ZHAO Meixun 2013Journal of Ocean University of China2013,12,4:11
2Re-Os geochronology of Cu and W-Mo deposits in the Balkhash metallogenic belt,Kazakhstan and its geological significance显示文摘<正>The Central Asian metallogenic domain(CAMD) is a multi-core metallogenic system controlled by boundary strike-slip fault systems.The Balkhash metallogenic belt in Kazakhstan,in which occur many large and super-large porphyritic Cu—Mo deposits and some quartz vein- and greisen-type W—Mo deposits,is a well-known porphyritic Cu—Mo metallogenic belt in the CAMD.In this paper 11 molybdenite samples from the western segment of the Balkhash metallogenic belt are selected for Re—Os compositional analyses and Re—Os isotopic dating.Molybdenites from the Borly porphyry Cu deposit and the three quartz vein-greisen W—Mo deposits—East Kounrad.Akshatau and Zhanet—all have relatively high Re contents(2712—2772μg/g for Borly and 2.267—31.50μg/g for the other three W—Mo deposits),and lower common Os contents(0.670—2.696 ng/g for Borly and 0.0051—0.056 ng/g for the other three).The molybdenites from the Borly porphyry Cu—Mo deposit and the East Kounrad,Zhanet,and Akshatau quartz vein- and greisen-type W—Mo deposits give average model Re—Os ages of 315.9 Ma,298.0 Ma,295.0 Ma,and 289.3 Ma respectively.Meanwhile,molybdenites from the East Kounrad,Zhanet,and Akshatau W—Mo deposits give a Re—Os isochron age of 297.9 Ma,with an MSWD value of 0.97.Re-Os dating of the molybdenites indicates that Cu—W—Mo metallogenesis in the western Balkhash metallogenic belt occurred during Late Carboniferous to Early Permian(315.9—289.3 Ma),while the porphyry Cu—Mo deposits formed at—316 Ma,and the quartz vein-greisen W—Mo deposits formed at ~298 Ma.The Re—Os model and isochron ages thus suggest that Late Carboniferous porphyry granitoid and pegmatite magmatism took place during the late Hercynian movement.Compared to the Junggar-East Tianshan porphyry Cu metallogenic belt in northwestern China,the formation of the Cu—Mo metallogenesis in the Balkhash metallogenic belt occurred between that of the Tuwu-Yandong in East Tianshan and the Baogutu porphyry Cu deposits in West Junggar. 3Fusion of machine vision technology and AlexNet-CNNs deep learning network for the detection of postharvest apple pesticide residues显示文摘Pesticide residue is an important factor that affects food safety.In order to achieve effective detection of pesticide residues in apples,a machine-vision-based segmentation algorithm and hyperspectral techniques were used to segment the foreground and background regions of the apple image.By calculating the roundness value and extracting the region with the highest roundness value in the connected region,a region of interest(ROI)maskwas created for the apple.Four pesticides(chlorpyrifos,carbendazimand two mixed pesticides)and an inactive control were used at the same concentration of 100 ppm(except for the control group),and the hyperspectral region of the corresponding sample image was extracted by obtaining the different types of pesticide residues in the ROI masks.To increase the diversity of the samples and to expand the dataset,Gaussianwhite noise with a varying signal-to-noise ratio was added to each of the hyperspectral images of the apple.The number of samples was increased from four types of 12 samples to four types of 72 samples,giving 4608 hyperspectral data images in each category.The structure and parameters of a convolutional neural network(CNN)were determined using theoretical analysis and experimental verification.All the extracted hyperspectral images of apples were normalized to 227×227×3 pixels as the input of the CNN network for pesticide residue detection.There were 18,432 sample data of four types for 72 samples.Of these,12,288 images were selected using a bootstrap sampling method as the training set,and 6144 as the test set,with no overlap.The test results showthatwhen the number of training epochswas 10,the accuracy of the test set detectionwas 99.09%,and the detection accuracy of the single-band average imagewas 95.35%.A comparison with traditional k-nearest neighbor(KNN)and support vectormachine classification algorithms showed that the detection accuracy for KNNwas 43.75%and the average time was 0.7645 s.These results demonstrate that our method is a small-sample,noncontact,fast,effective and low-cost technique that can provide effective pesticide residue detection in postharvest apples.Bo Jiang Jinrong He Shuqin Yang Hongfei Fu Tong Li Huaibo Song Dongjian He 2019Artificial Intelligence in Agriculture2019,,1:8
4Biomarker evidence for changes in terrestrial organic matter input into the Yellow Sea mud area during the Holocene显示文摘We present lipid biomarker records of two cores(ZY1 and ZY3) from the central South Yellow Sea mud area to investigate the changes in sources and transport processes of the sedimentary organic matter(OM) throughout the Holocene. Based on the analysis of marine biomarker content(SPB(Phytoplankton Biomarker, total content of brassicasterol, dinosterol and C_(37)-alkenones) and crenarchaeol), and terrestrial biomarkers(Sn-alkanols and br GDGTs) as well as TMBR′ and BIT index values, the marine organic matter(MOM) and terrestrial organic matter(TOM) deposition history was reconstructed. Changes in TOM and MOM were related to variations in land vegetation density and marine productivity, as well as transport processes dominated by the oceanic circulation system. The marine biomarker contents from the South Yellow Sea have generally increased throughout the Holocene, indicating that the increased MOM contents were mainly controlled by the strengthening of the circulation system. The terrestrial biomarkers, on the other hand, were more variable, indicating more complex influence of TOM burial in the Yellow Sea. During the Early Holocene(7200–6000 cal yr BP), the moderate TOM input revealed by the terrestrial proxy records may result from abundant land source supply by strong river transport despite the lack of transport via circulation system. The Mid-Holocene(6000–3000 cal yr BP) was characterized by decreased terrestrial biomarker contents. The balance between the decrease in land source supply and increase of transportation by the current system of the TOM resulted in the lower but stable contents of TOM. 5Hepatitis B virus X protein enhances hepatocarcinogenesis by depressing the targeting of NUSAP1 mRNA by miR-18b显示文摘Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate the underlying mechanism whereby HBx modulates the targeting of NUSAP1 by miR-18b to enhance hepatocarcinogenesis.Methods: We employed an integrated approach of bioinformatics analysis and molecular experiments in hepatoma cells, HBV transgenic mice, and clinical liver cancer tissues to investigate the role of HBx-regulated miR-18b in the development of liver cancer.Results: In this study, we report that the HBx-mediated tumor suppressor miR-18b modulates hepatocarcinogenesis during the host-HBV interaction. The expression levels of miR-18b were lower in clinical HBV-positive liver cancer tissues and liver tissues of HBV-transgenic mice. Interestingly, HBx inhibited miR-18b expression by inducing the methylation of CpG islands in its promoter. Accordingly, we tested the hypothesis that HBx enhanced hepatocarcinogenesis by increasing the expression of target genes of miR-18b. Moreover, we identified nucleolar spindle-associated protein 1(NUSAP1) as one of the target genes of miR-18b.NUSAP1 was expressed at high levels in liver cancer tissues. Interestingly, HBx up-regulated NUSAP1 by suppressing miR-18b.Functionally, miR-18b significantly inhibited the proliferation of hepatoma cells by depressing NUSAP1 levels in vivo and in vitro.Conclusions: Thus, we conclude that the targeting of NUSAP1 mRNA by the tumor suppressor miR-18b is controlled by HBxmodulated promoter methylation during the host-virus interaction, leading to hepatocarcinogenesis. 6Quality of terrestrial data derived from UAV photogrammetry:A case study of Hetao irrigation district in northern China显示文摘Most crops in northern China are irrigated,but the topography affects the water use,soil erosion,runoff and yields.Technologies for collecting high-resolution topographic data are essential for adequately assessing these effects.Ground surveys and techniques of light detection and ranging have good accuracy,but data acquisition can be time-consuming and expensive for large catchments.Recent rapid technological development has provided new,flexible,high-resolution methods for collecting topographic data,such as photogrammetry using unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs).The accuracy of UAV photogrammetry for generating high-resolution Digital Elevation Model(DEM)and for determining the width of irrigation channels,however,has not been assessed.A fixed-wing UAV was used for collecting high-resolution(0.15 m)topographic data for the Hetao irrigation district,the third largest irrigation district in China.112 ground checkpoints(GCPs)were surveyed by using a real-time kinematic global positioning system to evaluate the accuracy of the DEMs and channel widths.A comparison of manually measured channel widths with the widths derived from the DEMs indicated that the DEM-derived widths had vertical and horizontal root mean square errors of 13.0 and 7.9 cm,respectively.UAV photogrammetric data can thus be used for land surveying,digital mapping,calculating channel capacity,monitoring crops,and predicting yields,with the advantages of economy,speed and ease.Hongming Zhang Jiangtao Yang Jantiene E.M.Baartman Shuqin Li Bei Jin Wenting Han Xiaomei Yang Lingtong Gai Coen J.Ritsema Violette Geissen 2018International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2018,11,3:4
7Predicting wheat kernels’protein content by near infrared hyperspectral imaging显示文摘The objective of this study was to explore the potential of near infrared hyperspectral imaging combined with statistical regression models and neural networks for nondestructive prediction of protein content of wheat kernels.Seventy-nine samples from 11 breeds of wheat kernels were collected.The protein percentage of each sample measured by semimicro-Kjeldahl method was taken as the reference value.After comparing the prediction models of principal components regression(PCR)and partial least squares regression(PLSR)with various pretreatment methods,PLSR preprocessed by zero mean normalization(z score)function of MATLAB was found to obtain better prediction results than other regression models.Based on 10 latent variables of PLSR,the radial basis function(RBF)neural network was applied to improve the prediction,in which the coefficients of determination(R2)were greater than 0.92 for both the calibration set and validation set,while the corresponding RMSE values were 0.3496 and 0.4005,respectively.Therefore,hyperspectral imaging can provide a fast and non-destructive method for predicting the wheat kernels’protein content.Yang Shuqin He Dongjian Ning Jifeng 2016International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2016,9,2:2
8Proprotein convertase 1 mRNA and protein expression in ischemic rat cortex after reperfusion显示文摘Proprotein convertase 1(PC1) is a member of the family of proprotein convertases(PCs),which are the processing enzymes of neuropeptides.Previous studies have addressed PC1 effects with regard to the neuroendocrine system.In this study,the developing changes of PC1 mRNA and PC1 protein in rat cortices after transient focal cerebral ischemia were investigated by fluorescent double labeling(both in situ hybridization and immunocytochemistry) using a transient focal cerebral ischemia model in rats.The results were compared with those of sham-operated rat cortices.Both the mRNA and protein levels of PC1 in ischemic cortices decreased gradually at 4,8,and 16 hours of reperfusion after 100 minutes of middle cerebral artery occlusion.After 24 hours of reperfusion,enhanced intensities of signals for PC1 protein were observed,while signals for PC1 mRNA remained low.These results suggest that transient focal cerebral ischemia influences PC1 mRNA and protein expression in cortices of ischemic rats.Thus,PC1 is regulated by ischemic stress.Shuqin Zhan An Zhou Jingquan Lan Tao Yang 2011Neural Regeneration Research2011,6,4:2
9Highly stable Al-doped ZnO by ligand-free synthesis as general thickness-insensitive interlayers for organic solar cells显示文摘Highly conductive and dispersible Al-doped ZnO(AZO) nanoparticles(NPs) have been successfully prepared by ligand-free colloidal synthesis at low temperature and stabilization by surfactant-aid including ethanolamine(EA), ethylenediamine(EDA),diethylenetriamine(DETA) and triethylenetetramine(TETA). Due to the strong intermolecular hydrogen-bonding interactions between AZO NPs and the amino groups from surfactants, the inevitable aggregation was suppressed and the surface defect sites were passivated obviously. The existence of electron transfer from the nitrogen of the amino groups to the zinc of AZO,led to a dramatic increase in electrical conductivity. A homogeneous current intensity value up to ~2200 pA for AZO tread by DETA was characterized by conductive atomic force microscopy(C-AFM), which was more superior than that of the reported sol-gel synthesized AZO with the assistance of EA surfactant(refer to 170.7 pA). 17Improved Electrochemical Kinetic Performances of La-Mg-Ni-based Hydrogen Storage Alloy Modified by Ni-Polypyrrole Complex Surface Treatment显示文摘In order to improve the electrochemical kinetic performances of La-Mg-Ni-based alloy,complex surface modification of Ni with excellent catalytic activity and conducting polymer polypyrrole(PPy)was performed via electroless plating method.FESEM images revealed that the complex Ni-PPy treatment resulted in more micropores at the alloy surface,with Ni particles and cotton fiber-shape PPy microspheres attached.Both the larger surface area induced by the micropore and the higher catalytic activity and conductivity on account of the dispersed Ni particles/PPy microspheres promoted the electrode reaction,thereby increasing the discharge capacity of the modified alloy electrode.Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS)and linear polarization results showed that the Ni-PPy treatment decreased the charge-transfer resistance and increased the exchange current density greatly,far more than the single-component Ni or PPy treatment.Consequently,a notable improvement in high rate dischargeability(HRD)was observed,and at a high discharge current density of 1800 mA/g,the HRD of the modified electrode increased by 10.4%compared with that of the bare electrode.YANG Shuqin WANG Yunchai LI Yuan SONG Laizhou 2019Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2019,35,6:1

19Improving Ultraviolet Stability of Perovskite Solar Cells via Singlet Fission Down-Conversion显示文摘The instability of perovskite materials under continuous ultraviolet(UV)light irradiation and high sensitivity in humid environments remain obstacles to future commercialization.Especially,the photovoltaic performance of perovskite solar cells(PVSCs)is prone to decline under UV light exposure for sustained periods of time.However,in conventional methods,preventing UV light from entering PVSCs usually comes at the expense of reducing short circuit photocurrent(Jsc).Herein,the UV stability of PVSCs is modified by in-troducing a singlet fission down-conversion layer 6,13-bis(triisopropylsilylethynyl)pentacene(TIPS-PEN)via one-step anti-solvent method without sacrificing device efficiency.The introduction of down conversion layer can not only improve the Jsc by converting UV light into multiple excitons,but also enhance the open-circuit voltage(Voc)owing to a better matched energy level alignment at the perovskite/spiro-OMeTAD interface.Consequently,the TIPS-PEN incorporated PVSCs attain the champion power conversion effi-ciency(PCE)up to 22.92%accompanied with dramatically increased UV photostability which can retain 80%of its primitive PCE un-der continuous UV light soaking for 150 h.Moreover,the unencapsulated PVSCs with TIPS-PEN exhibit remarkable moisture stability which can sustain over 80%of the initial value under air conditions(50%relative humidity,25℃)after 1000 h.Yanda zhang Shuqin Xiao Wangping Sheng Jia Yang Licheng Tan Yiwang Chen 2023Chinese Journal of Chemistry2023,41,9:1
