1V2O5 Nanospheres with Mixed Vanadium Valences as High Electrochemically Active Aqueous Zinc-Ion Battery Cathode显示文摘AV4+-V2O5 cathode with mixed vanadium valences was prepared via a novel synthetic method using VOOH as the precursor,and its zinc-ion storage performance was evaluated.The products are hollow spheres consisting of nanoflakes.The V4+-V2O5 cathode exhibits a prominent cycling performance,with a specific capacity of 140 mAhg-1 after 1000 cycles at 10 A g.1,and an excellent rate capability.The good electrochemical performance is attributed to the presence of V4+,which leads to higher electrochemical activity,lower polarization,faster ion diffusion,and higher electrical conductivity than V2O5 without V4+.This engineering strategy of valence state manipulation may pave the way for designing high-performance cathodes for elucidating advanced battery chemistry.Fei Liu Zixian Chen Guozhao Fang Ziqing Wang Yangsheng Cai Boya Tang Jiang Zhou Shuquan Liang 2019Nano-Micro Letters2019,11,2:12

32,3,7,8-Tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin promotes migration ability of primary cultured rat astrocytes via aryl hydrocarbon receptor显示文摘Emerging evidence showed that 2,3,7,8-Tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin(TCDD) could induce expression of certain reactivation-associated genes in astrocytes, however, the consequent cellular effects and molecular mechanisms are still unclear. During the process of astrocyte reactivation, migration is a critical cellular event. In the present study, we employed woundhealing assay and Transwell? motility assay to explore the effects of TCDD on cell migration in primary cultured rat cortical astrocytes. We found that upon TCDD treatments at relative low concentrations(10^(-10) and/or 10^(-9) mol/L), the ability of primary astrocytes to migrate horizontally and vertically was promoted. In line with this cellular effect, the mR NA expression of two promigratory genes, including cell division cycle 42(CDC42) and matrix metalloproteinase 2(MMP2)was induced by TCDD treatment. Dioxin exerts its toxic effects mainly through aryl hydrocarbon receptor(AhR) pathway. So the role of AhR pathway in the pro-migratory effects of TCDD was examined using an AhR antagonist, CH223191. We found that application of CH223191 significantly reversed the pro-migratory effects of TCDD. Interestingly, the basal ability of horizontal migration as well as basal levels of CDC42 and MMP2 expression were dramatically reduced suggesting a possible physiological role of AhR in maintaining the endogenous migration ability of the primary astrocytes. 11Identification of differentially expressed genes response to TCDD in rat brain after long-term low-dose exposure显示文摘Several cohort studies have reported that dioxin and dioxin-like polychlorinated biphenyls might impair the nervous system and lead to neurological or neurodegenerative diseases in the elder people, but there is limited research on the involved mechanism. By using microarray analysis, we figured out the differentially expressed genes between brain samples from SD rats after low-dose(0.1 μg/(kg?bw)) dioxin exposure for six months and controls. To investigate the function changes in the course of dioxin exposure, Gene Ontology(GO) annotation and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG) pathway analysis were performed on the differentially expressed genes. And the changes of several picked genes have been verified by real-time PCR. A total of 145 up-regulated and 64 down-regulated genes were identified. The metabolic processes, interleukin-1 secretion and production were significantly associated with the differentially expressed genes. And the genes regulated by dioxin also clustered to cholinergic synapse and long-term potentiation. Candidate biomarker genes such as egr1, gad2, gabrb3, abca1, ccr5 and pycard may be toxicological targets for dioxin. 12Crystal-plane-dependent redox reaction on Cu surfaces显示文摘The dynamic redox process of surface oxide layers on metal surfaces is of great significance for understanding the active phase in catalytic reactions.We studied the formation of surface oxide layers on Cu(111)and Cu(110)in O2,as well as the subsequent reduction by CO using in situ scanning tunneling microscopy(STM)and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).By monitoring and comparing the oxidation process of Cu(111)and Cu(110)surfaces,we found a crystal-plane-dependent reaction mechanism,which also applies to the reduction of surface oxide layers on Cu surfaces.We found XPS Cu spectra cannot be used to identify the various surface oxide layer on Cu surfaces,suggesting their presence in catalytic reactions might have been overlooked.The combination of STM and XPS studies are thus advantageous in identifying surface oxide structures and pinpointing the active phases in the redox process,which paves the way for engineering the catalyst and reaction environment for optimized catalytic performances.Yangsheng Li Hao Chen Weijia Wang Wugen Huang Yanxiao Ning Qingfei Liu Yi Cui Yong Han Zhi Liu Fan Yang Xinhe Bao 2020Nano Research2020,13,6:0
13Numerical study of a trapezoidal bypass dual throat nozzle显示文摘Bypass Dual Throat Nozzle(BDTN)is a novel type of fluidic thrust vectoring nozzle.To improve the infrared stealth performance of BDTN,a nozzle based on BDTN is proposed and numerically simulated.Each cross-section along the x-axis of the novel nozzle becomes a trapezoid,which is named“BDTN-TRA.”The main numerical simulation results show that BDTN-TRA can produce a thrust vectoring angle when the upper or lower bypass valve is open.The angle difference between the two conditions mentioned above is usually approximately 1°-2°.Even if the two bypasses are closed,BDTN-TRA can produce a small thrust vectoring angle at around 3°-5°.When the sidewall angle increases from 60°to 90°,the thrust coefficient and thrust vectoring angle under each work condition usually decrease.A larger aspect ratio indicates better performance.As the aspect ratio increases over 7.2,the performance of BDTN-TRA is quite close to that of BDTN with rectangular cross-sections at the same aspect ratio.These features will benefit the control and trimming for future aircraft design,especially for the flying wing layout aircraft.Last but not least,BDTN-TRA has a more extraordinary mixing performance compared with BDTN.The distributions of static temperature and axial velocity along the x-axis of BDTN-TRA with sidewall angle of 60°decrease faster than those of BDTN.When the total temperature of the inlet equals 1600 K,the static temperature difference between BDTN-TRA with sidewall angles of 60°and 90°is over 360 K at twice the length of the nozzle downstream of the nozzle exit,which is the reflection for excellent infrared stealth for the fighter.Shuai HUANG Jinglei XU Kaikai YU Yangsheng WANG Ruifeng PAN Kuangshi CHEN Yuqi ZHANG 2023Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2023,36,3:0
14Development and characterization of monoclonal antibodies against human aryl hydrocarbon receptor显示文摘Aryl hydrocarbon receptor(Ah R), a ligand-dependent nuclear receptor, is involved in a diverse spectrum of biological and toxicological effects. Due to the lack of three dimensional(3D)crystal or nuclear magnetic resonance structure, the mechanisms of these complex effects of AhR remain to be unclear. Also, commercial monoclonal antibodies(mA bs) against human AhR protein(h Ah R), as alternative immunological tools, are very limited. Thus, in order to provide more tools for further studies on h Ah R, we prepared two m Abs(1D6 and 4A6) against h Ah R. The two newly generated m Abs specifically bound to amino acids 484–508(located in transcription activation domain) and amino acids 201–215(located in Per-ARNT-Sim domain)of h Ah R, respectively. These epitopes were new as compared with those of commercial m Abs.The m Abs were also characterized by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, western blot,immunoprecipitation and indirect immunofluorescence assay in different cell lines. The results showed that the two m Abs could recognize the linearized AhR s in six different human cell lines and a rat hepatoma cell line, as well as the h Ah R with native conformations. 15A constitutive model for cyclic densification of coarse-grained soil filler for the high-speed railway subgrade considering particle breakage显示文摘Purpose–This study aims to propose a semiempirical and semitheoretical cyclic compaction constitutive model of coarse-grained soil filler for the high-speed railway(HSR)subgrade under cyclic load.Design/methodology/approach–According to the basic framework of critical state soil mechanics and in view of the characteristics of the coarse-grained soil filler for the HSR subgrade to bear the train vibration load repeatedly for a long time,the hyperbolic empirical relationship between particle breakage and plastic work was derived.Considering the influence of cyclic vibration time and stress ratio,the particle breakage correction function of coarse-grained soil filler for the HSR subgrade under cyclic load was proposed.According to the classical theory of plastic mechanics,the shearing dilatation equation of the coarse-grained soil filler for the HSR subgrade considering particle breakage was modified and obtained.A semiempirical and semitheoretical cyclic compaction constitutive model of coarse-grained soil filler for the HSR subgrade under cyclic load was further established.The backward Euler method was used to discretize the constitutive equation,build a numerical algorithm of“elastic prediction and plastic modification”and make a secondary development of the program to solve the cyclic compaction model.Findings–Through the comparison with the result of laboratory triaxial test under the cyclic loading of coarse-grained soil filler for the HSR subgrade,the accuracy and applicability of the cyclic compaction model were verified.Results show that the model can accurately predict the cumulative deformation characteristics of coarse-grained soil filler for the HSR subgrade under the train vibration loading repeatedly for a long time.It considers the effects of particle breakage and stress ratio,which can be used to calculate and analyze the stress and deformation evolution law of the subgrade structure for HSR.Yangsheng Ye Degou Cai Lin Geng Hongye Yan Junkai Yao Feng Chen 2022Railway Sciences2022,1,1:0
16Dioxin induces expression of hsa-mi R-146b-5p in human neuroblastoma cells显示文摘Dioxin can cause a series of neural toxicological effects. Micro RNAs(mi Rs) play important roles in regulating nervous system function and mediating cellular responses to environmental pollutants, such as dioxin. Hsa-mi R-146 b-5 p appears to be involved in neurodegenerative diseases and brain tumors. However, little is known about effects of dioxin on the expression of hsa-mi R-146 b-5 p. We found that the hsa-mi R-146 b-5 p expression and its promoter activity were significantly increased in dioxin treated SK-N-SH cells, a human-derived neuroblastoma cell line. Potential roles of hsa-mi R-146 b-5 p in mediating neural toxicological effects of dioxin may be due to the regulation of certain target genes. We further confirmed that hsa-mi R-146 b-5 p significantly suppressed acetylcholinesterase(ACh E) activity and targeted the3′-untranslated region of the ACh E T subunit, which has been down-regulated in dioxin treated SK-N-SH cells. 17COMPUTER-AIDED DETECTION OF THE EPILEPTIC WAVES IN EEG:A REALIZED STRATEGY BY ADOPTING MULTI-METHOD显示文摘In this thesis, a strategy realizing the computer-aided detection (CAD) of the epileptic waves in EEG isintroduced. The expert criterion, continuous wavelet transformation, neural networks, and characteristic parametermeasuremente these modern signa1 processing weapons were synthesized togetLher to form a so-called multi-method.It was estimated that the advantages of all the powerful techniques could be exploited systematically. Therefore, theCAD’s capacities in the long-term monitoring, trCaAnent and control of epilepsy might be enhanced. In this strategy,the raw EEG signals were uniformed and the expelt criterion were applied to discard most of aItifacts in them at first,and then the signals were pre-processed by continuous wavelet transformation. Some characteristic parameters wereextracted from the raw signals and the pre-processed ones. Consequently groups of eighteen parameters were sent totrain or test BP networks. By applying this theme a correct-detection rate of 84.3% for spike and sharp waves, and88.9% for sPike and sharp slow waves were obtained.
