| 1 | Influence of Gd_2O_3 and Yb_2O_3 Co-doping on Phase Stability,Thermo-physical Properties and Sintering of 8YSZ显示文摘The role of multicomponent rare earth oxides in phase stability, thermophysical properties and sintering for ZrO2-based thermal barrier coatings (TBCs) materials is investigated. 8YSZ codoped with 3 mol% Gd2O3 and 3 mol% Yb2O3 (GYb-YSZ) powders are synthesized by solid state reaction for 24 h at various temperatures. As temperature increases, stabilizers are dissolved into zirconia matrix gradually. Synthesized at 1 500 °C, GYb-YSZ is basically composed of cubic phase. GYb-YSZ exhibits excellent phase stability and sinters lower than 8YSZ by nearly three times. The thermal conductivity of GYb-YSZ is much lower than that of 8YSZ, and the thermal expansion coefficient of GYb-YSZ is comparable to that of 8YSZ. | 2 | Radiomics approach for preoperative identification of stages Ⅰ-Ⅱand Ⅲ-Ⅳ of esophageal cancer显示文摘Objective: To predict preoperative staging using a radiomics approach based on computed tomography(CT)images of patients with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC).Methods: This retrospective study included 154 patients(primary cohort: n=114; validation cohort: n=40) with pathologically confirmed ESCC. All patients underwent a preoperative CT scan from the neck to abdomen. High throughput and quantitative radiomics features were extracted from the CT images for each patient. A radiomics signature was constructed using the least absolute shrinkage and selection operator(Lasso). Associations between radiomics signature, tumor volume and ESCC staging were explored. Diagnostic performance of radiomics approach and tumor volume for discriminating between stages Ⅰ-Ⅱ and Ⅲ-Ⅳ was evaluated and compared using the receiver operating characteristics(ROC) curves and net reclassification improvement(NRI).Results: A total of 9,790 radiomics features were extracted. Ten features were selected to build a radiomics signature after feature dimension reduction. | 3 | Status and development of high-power laser facilities at the NLHPLP显示文摘In this paper, we review the status of the multifunctional experimental platform at the National Laboratory of High Power Laser and Physics(NLHPLP). The platform, including the SG-II laser facility, SG-II 9th beam, SG-II upgrade(SG-II UP) facility, and SG-II 5 PW facility, is operational and available for interested scientists studying inertial confinement fusion(ICF) and a broad range of high-energy-density physics. These facilities can provide important experimental capabilities by combining different pulse widths of nanosecond, picosecond, and femtosecond scales. In addition, the SG-II UP facility, consisting of a single petawatt system and an eight-beam nanosecond system, is introduced including several laser technologies that have been developed to ensure the performance of the facility. | 4 | Variability of soil organic carbon reservation capability between coastal salt marsh and riverside freshwater wetland in Chongming Dongtan and its microbial mechanism显示文摘Two representative zones in Chongming Dongtan which faced the Yangtze River and East China Sea respectively were selected to study the variability of soil organic carbon (SOC) reservation capability between coastal wetland and riverside wetland in the Chongming Dongtan wetland as well as its mechanism by analyzing soil characteristics and plant biomass.The results showed the SOC content of riverside wetland was only 48.61% (P=0.000 < 0.05) that of coastal wetland.As the organic matter inputs from plant litter of the coastal wetland and riverside wetland were approximately the same,the higher soil microbial respiration (SMR) of riverside wetland led to its lower SOC reservation capability.In the riverside wetland,the high soil microbial biomass,higher proportion of β-Proteobacteria,which have strong carbon metabolism activity and the existence of some specific aerobic heterotrophic bacteria such as Bacilli and uncultured Lactococcus,were the important reasons for the higher SMR compared to the coastal wetland.There were additional differences in soil physical and chemical characteristics between the coastal wetland and riverside wetlands.Path analysis of predominant bacteria and microbial biomass showed that soil salinity influenced β-Proteobacteria and microbial biomass most negatively among these physical and chemical factors.Therefore the low salinity of the riverside area was suitable for the growth of microorganisms,especially β-Proteobacteria and some specific bacteria,which led to the high SMR and low SOC reservation capability when compared to the coastal area. | Yu Hu Yanli Li Lei Wang Yushu Tang Jinhai Chen Xiaohua Fu Yiquan Le Jihua Wu | 2012 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2012,24,6: | 7 |
| 5 | Hierarchical engineering of CoNi@Air@C/SiO_(2)@Polypyrrole multicomponent nanocubes to improve the dielectric loss capability and magnetic-dielectric synergy显示文摘Impedance matching characteristics and loss capabilities including magnetic loss,polarization loss and conduction loss are critical factors to improve microwave absorption performances(MAPs).To elevate these aspects,herein,yolk-shell structured CoNi@Air@C/SiO_(2)@Polypyrrole(PPy)magnetic multicomponent nanocubes(MCNCs)were designed and successfully fabricated in high efficiency through a continuous co-precipitation route,classical Stöber method,thermal treatment and polymerization reaction.The obtained results indicated that the formation of SiO_(2) effectively stabilized the cubic geometrical morphology and yolk-shell structure during the high-temperature pyrolysis process.The introduction of PPy greatly boosted their polarization loss and conductive loss capabilities.Therefore,the as-prepared yolkshell structured CoNi@Air@C/SiO_(2)@PPy MCNCs presented superior MAPs compared to CoNi@Air@C/SiO_(2) MCNCs.Furthermore,by regulating the content of PPy,the obtained CoNi@Air@C/SiO_(2)@PPy MCNCs displayed tunable and excellent comprehensive MAPs in terms of strong absorption capabilities,broad frequency bandwidths and thin matching thicknesses,which could be ascribed to the unique structure and excellent magnetic-dielectric synergistic effect.Therefore,our findings provided an alternative pathway to effectively utilize the magnetic-dielectric synergy and loss capabilities for the developing yolk-shell structured magnetic MCNCs as the strong wideband microwave absorbers. | Qiqin Liang Lei Wang Xiaosi Qi Qiong Peng Xiu Gong Yanli Chen Ren Xie Wei Zhong | 2023 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,16: | 7 |

| 7 | Telomere-to-telomere and gap-free reference genome assembly of the kiwifruit Actinidia chinensis显示文摘Kiwifruit is an economically and nutritionally important fruit crop with extremely high contents of vitamin C.However,the previously released versions of kiwifruit genomes all have a mass of unanchored or missing regions.Here,we report a highly continuous and completely gap-free reference genome of Actinidia chinensis cv.‘Hongyang’,named Hongyang v4.0,which is the first to achieve two de novo haploid-resolved haplotypes,HY4P and HY4A.HY4P and HY4A have a total length of 606.1 and 599.6 Mb,respectively,with almost the entire telomeres and centromeres assembled in each haplotype.In comparison with Hongyang v3.0,the integrity and contiguity of Hongyang v4.0 is markedly improved by filling all unclosed gaps and correcting some misoriented regions,resulting in∼38.6–39.5 Mb extra sequences,which might affect 4263 and 4244 protein-coding genes in HY4P and HY4A,respectively.Furthermore,our gap-free genome assembly provides the first clue for inspecting the structure and function of centromeres.Globally,centromeric regions are characterized by higher-order repeats that mainly consist of a 153-bp conserved centromere-specific monomer(Ach-CEN153)with different copy numbers among chromosomes.Functional enrichment analysis of the genes located within centromeric regions demonstrates that chromosome centromeres may not only play physical roles for linking a pair of sister chromatids,but also have genetic features for participation in the regulation of cell division.The availability of the telomere-to-telomere and gap-free Hongyang v4.0 reference genome lays a solid foundation not only for illustrating genome structure and functional genomics studies but also for facilitating kiwifruit breeding and improvement. | Junyang Yue Qinyao Chen Yingzhen Wang Lei Zhang Chen Ye Xu Wang Shuo Cao Yunzhi Lin Wei Huang He Xian Hongyan Qin Yanli Wang Sijia Zhang Ying Wu Songhu Wang Yi Yue Yongsheng Liu | 2023 | Horticulture Research2023,10,2: | 4 |
| 8 | A Novel Strategy to Fabricate Core-Sheath Structure Piezoelectric Yarns for Wearable Energy Harvesters显示文摘Wearable and portable electronic devices based on textile structure have been widely used owing to their wearability and comfortableness.However,yarn fineness and the comfort of the fabric cannot satisfy the requirements of smart wearable devices.This work presents a novel strategy to prepare highly integrated PVDF/conductive nylon core-sheath structure piezoelectric yarns for wearable which is fabricated by combining electrospinning strategy with 2D braiding technology.The fineness of single yarns as well as strength are both improved significantly compared to previous works.The piezoelectric outputs of the yarn are still stable after 800 s fatigue test at a frequency of 4 Hz,and the cycle stability can maintain more than 3200 cycles.Furthermore,the piezoelectric yarns are further woven into piezoelectric plain fabric.According to the electrical performance,the length of the piezoelectric yarn and the thickness of the piezoelectric layer would both affect the output electrical performance.The yarn of the 10 cm in length and 600μm in fineness can produce an output voltage of 120 mV.Meanwhile,Both the piezoelectric yarn and the fabric could generate piezoelectric output signals through human movement,such as bending,walking.Therefore,the electrical and mechanical performance of the piezoelectric yarns prepared in our work could be improved significantly,and the comfortableness and durability performance of the piezoelectric fabric can satisfy most wearing requirements,which would provide some help in the field of piezoelectric wearable devices based on yarns and fabrics. | Lili Xue Wei Fan Yang Yu Kai Dong Chengkun Liu Yanli Sun Cong Zhang Weichun Chen Ruixin Lei Kai Rong Qi Wang | 2021 | Advanced Fiber Materials2021,3,4: | 3 |
| 9 | Responses of benthic foraminifera to changes of temperature and salinity:Results from a laboratory culture experiment显示文摘The effects of temperature and salinity on intertidal foraminiferal community under laboratory conditions are poorly understood. We designed a two-factor crossed experiment in which foraminiferal communities were cultured at different temperatures (6, 12, and 18℃) and salinities (15, 20, 25, and 30 psu) for 10 weeks. In total, 2616 living (stained) specimens were obtained and analyzed. Foraminiferal abundance ranged from 9 to 202 individuals/10 g wet weight of sediment. The highest abundance was obtained at 12℃, 25 psu and the lowest at 6℃, 15 psu. Statistical results demonstrated that temperature affected foraminiferal community more significantly than salinity. Most foraminiferal community parameters (abundance, species richness, Margalef index, and Shannon-Wiener diversity) were significantly positively correlated to temperature, but not to salinity, whereas Pielou's evenness was significantly negatively correlated to both temperature and salinity. The interactive effect of temperature and salinity on foraminiferal abundance was significant. In addition, with increasing temperature, the species composition shifted from hyaline Rotaliida to porcellaneous Miliolida. The abundance of dominant species (e.g., Ammonia aomoriensis, A. beccarii, and Quinqueloculina seminula) showed significant positive correlations to temperature. | 10 | NGS-metabarcoding revealing novel foraminiferal diversity in the Western Pacific Magellan Seamount sediments显示文摘Seamount is a unique deep-sea ecosystem widely distributed in the world.Its biodiversity is vibrant due to its specific geographical and hydrological conditions.However,the diversity and features of foraminifera in such an environment have rarely been studied.We extracted environmental DNA(eDNA)in sedime nts and amplified the partial small subunit ribo somal DNA(SSU rDNA)of fo raminife ra to understand the foraminiferal diversity from four sites in Magellan Seamount(Western Pacific Ocean).Partial S SU rDNA sequencing was conducted and 912979 foraminiferal reads were obtained and gathered into 266 operational taxonomic units(OTUs).In the available dataset,a high proportion of rare OTUs and low identity OTUs in each studied sample showed that the Magellan Seamount foraminiferal community might have a high genetic novelty.The relative abundance of foraminifera varied between replicates probably due to the existence of bias in amplification process and patchiness of the deep-sea floor.It showed that the Magellan Seamount has a relatively high benthic foraminiferal diversity characterized mainly by monothalamiids(76.37%of total reads)in association with rotaliids(19.03%of total reads),including planktic foraminiferal sequences(38.58%of rotaliids;7.36%of total reads).The remaining reads were assigned to miliolids(0.83%of total reads)and textulariids(0.66%of total reads),and 3.11%of total reads are unassigned to a specific family.The co mparative analysis with foraminiferal assemblage s from coastal and deep-sea environme nts indicated that seamounts could aggregate species from a nearby deep-sea. | Junfeng SHI Yanli LEI Haotian LI Tiegang LI | 2021 | Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2021,39,5: | 1 |

| 12 | Visualized and cascade-enhanced gene silencing by smart DNAzyme-graphene nanocomplex显示文摘BCL-2 gene as well as its products is recognized as a promising target for the molecular targeted therapy of tumors.However,due to certain defense measures of tumor cells,the therapeutic effect based on the gene silencing of BCL-2 is greatly reduced.Here we fabricate a smart response nucleic acid therapeutic that could silence the gene effectively through a dual-targeted and cascade-enhanced strategy.In brief,nano-graphene oxide(GO),working as a nano-carrier,is loaded with a well-designed DNAzyme,which can target and silence the BCL-2 mRNA.Furthermore,upon binding with the BCL-2 mRNA,the enzymatic activity of the DNAzyme can be initiated,cutting a substrate oligonucleotide to produce an anti-nucleolin aptamer AS1411.Nucleolin,a nucleolar phosphoprotein,is known as a stabilizer of BCL-2 mRNA.Via binding and inactivating the nucleolin,AS1411 can destabilize BCL-2 mRNA.By this means of simultaneously targeting mRNA and its stabilizer in an integrated system,effective silencing of the BCL-2 gene of tumor cells is achieved at both the cellular and in vivo levels.After being dosed with this nucleic acid therapeutic and without any chemotherapeutics,apoptosis of tumor cells at the cellular level and apparent shrinkage of tumors in vivo are observed.By labeling a molecular beacon on the substrate of DNAzyme,visualization of the enzymatic activity as well as the tumor in vivo can be also achieved.Our work presents a pure bio-therapeutic strategy that has positive implications for enhancing tumor treatment and avoiding side effects of chemotherapeutics. | Lingjie Ren Xiaoxia Chen Chang Feng Lei Ding Xiaomin Liu Tianshu Chen Fan Zhang Yanli Li Zhongliang Ma Bo Tian Xiaoli Zhu | 2020 | Nano Research2020,13,8: | 1 |

| 15 | Impacts of meteorology and emission variations on the heavy air pollution episode in North China around the 2020 Spring Festival显示文摘Based on the Weather Research and Forecasting model and the Models-3 community multi-scale air quality model(WRF-CMAQ),this study analyzes the impacts of meteorological conditions and changes in air pollutant emissions on the heavy air pollution episode occurred over North China around the 2020 Spring Festival(January to Februray 2020).Regional reductions in air pollutant emissions required to eliminate the PM2.5 heavy pollution episode are also quantified.Our results found that meteorological conditions for the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and surrounding'2+26'cities are the worst during the heavy pollution episode around the 2020 Spring Festival as compared with two other typical heavy pollution episodes that occurred after 2015.However,because of the substantial reductions in air pollutant emissions in the'2+26'cities in recent years,and the32%extra reduction in emissions during January to February 2020 compared with the baseline emission levels of the autumn and winter of 2019 to 2020,the maximum PM2.5 level during this heavy pollution episode around the 2020 Spring Festival was much lower than that in the other two typical episodes.Yet,these emission reductions are still not enough to eliminate regional heavy pollution episodes.Compared with the actual emission levels during January to February 2020,a 20%extra reduction in air pollutant emissions in the'2+26'cities(or a 45%extra reduction compared with baseline emission levels of the autumn and winter of 2019 to 2020)could help to generally eliminate regionwide severe pollution episodes,and avoid heavy pollution episodes that last three or more consecutive days in Beijing;a 40%extra reduction in emissions(or a 60%extra reduction compared with baseline emission levels of the autumn and winter of 2019 to 2020)could help to generally eliminate regionwide and continuous heavy pollution episodes.Our analysis finds that during the clean period after the heavy pollution episode around the 2020 Spring Festival,the regionwide heavy pollution episode would only occur with at least a 10-fold increase in air pollutant emissions. | Wenbo XUE Xurong SHI Gang YAN Jinnan WANG Yanling XU Qian TANG Yanli WANG Yixuan ZHENG Yu LEI | 2021 | Science China Earth Sciences2021,64,2: | 1 |

| 19 | Adsorption of glycine at the anatase TiO_(2)/water interface: Effects of Ca^(2+) ions显示文摘Adsorption reactions of amino acids(AAs)on TiO_(2) nanoparticles(NPs)play an important role in the available nutrients in soils and sediments.The pH effects on glycine adsorption have been studied,but little is known about its coadsorption with Ca^(2+)at the molecular level.Combined attenuated total reflectance Fourier transform infrared(ATR-FTIR)flow-cell measurements and density functional theory(DFT)calculationswere used to determine the surface complex and corresponding dynamic adsorption/desorption processes.The structures of glycine adsorbed onto TiO_(2) were closely associated with its dissolved species in the solution phase.The presence of Ca^(2+)exerted different influences on glycine adsorption within pH 4−11,thus affecting its migration rate in soils and sediments.The mononuclear bidentate complex at pH 4−7,involving the COO−moiety of zwitterionic glycine,remained unchanged in the absence and presence of Ca^(2+).At pH 11,the mononuclear bidentate complex with deprotonated NH2 can be removed from the TiO_(2) surface upon coadsorption with Ca^(2+).The bonding strength of glycine on TiO_(2) was much weaker than that of the Ca-bridged ternary surface complexation.Glycine adsorption was inhibited at pH 4 but was enhanced at pH 7 and 11. | Yanli Yang Jiaqi Liu Mengyao Zhu Shengping Dou Lei Ding | 2023 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,6: | 0 |
