| 3 | Low concentrations of NaHSO_3 enhance NAD(P)H dehydrogenasedependent cyclic photophosphorylation and alleviate the oxidative damage to improve photosynthesis in tobacco显示文摘Bisulfite at low concentrations(L-NaHSO3) increases cyclic electron transport around photosystem I(PSI) and photosynthesis.However,little is known regarding the detailed contribution of cyclic electron transport to the promoted photosynthesis by L-NaHSO3.In the present work,we used tobacco mutant defective in ndhC-ndhK-ndhJ(ndhCKJ) to investigate the role of NAD(P)H dehydrogenase(NDH)-dependent cyclic electron transport around PSI in an increase in photosynthesis by L-NaHSO3.After the treatment of tobacco leaves with L-NaHSO3(10 μmol L-1),the NDH-dependent cyclic electron transport,monitored by a transient post-illumination increase in Chl fluorescence and the amount of NDH,was notably up-regulated in wild type(WT).The NDH-dependent cyclic electron transport was severely impaired in ndhCKJ and was not significantly affected by treatment with L-NaHSO3.Accordingly,the NDH-dependent transthylakoid membrane proton gradient(pH),as reflected by the slow phase of millisecond-delayed light emission(ms-DLE),was increased by L-NaHSO3 in WT,but not in ndhCKJ;the enhancement of cyclic photophosphorylation(PSP) activity by L-NaHSO3 was more obvious in WT than ndhCKJ.The accumulation of both superoxide and hydrogen peroxide was reduced in WT when subjected to L-NaHSO3 treatment,but not in ndhCKJ.Furthermore,the increase of photosynthetic O 2 evolution rate by L-NaHSO3 was more significant in WT than in ndhCKJ.We therefore conclude that L-NaHSO3 alleviates the photo-oxidative damage by the enhancement of NDH-dependent cyclic PSP,thereby improving photosynthesis. | WU YanXia HE Wei MA WeiMin SHEN YunKang MI HuaLing | 2012 | Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,30: | 5 |
| 4 | Safety,tolerability,and pharmacokinetics of BAT8001 in patients with HER2-positive breast cancer:An open-label,dose-escalation,phase I study显示文摘Background:The introductions of anti-human epidermal growth factor receptor-2(HER2)agents have significantly improved the treatment outcome of patients with HER2-positive breast cancer.BAT8001 is a novel antibodydrug conjugate targeting human epidermal growth factor receptor-2(HER2)-expressing cells composed of a trastuzumab biosimilar linked to the drug-linker Batansine.This dose-escalation,phase I study was designed to assess the safety,tolerability,pharmacokinetics,and preliminary anti-tumor activity of BAT8001 in patients with HER2-positive locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer.Methods:This trial was conducted in subjects with histologically confirmed HER2-positive breast cancer(having evaluable lesions and an Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group performance status of 0 or 1)using a 3+3 design of escalating BAT8001 doses.Patients received BAT8001 intravenously in a 21-day cycle,with dose escalation in 5 cohorts:1.2,2.4,3.6,4.8,and 6.0 mg/kg.The primary objective was to evaluate the safety and tolerability of BAT8001.Preliminary activity of BAT8001 was also assessed as a secondary objective.Results:Between March 2017 to May 2018,29 HER2-positive breast cancer patients were enrolled.The observed dose-limiting toxicities were grade 4 thrombocytopenia and grade 3 elevated transaminase.The maximum tolerated dose was determined to be 3.6 mg/kg.Grade 3 or greater adverse events(AEs)occurred in 14(48.3%)of 29 patients,including thrombocytopenia in 12(41.4%)patients,aspartate aminotransferase increased in 4(13.8%)patients,γ-glutamyl transferase increased in 2(6.9%)patients,alanine aminotransferase increased in 2(6.9%)patients,diarrhea in 2(6.9%)patients.Objective response was observed in 12(41.4%,95%confidence interval[CI]=23.5%-61.1%)and disease control(including patients achieving objective response and stable disease)was observed in 24(82.8%,95%CI=64.2%-94.2%)patients.Conclusions:BAT8001 demonstrated favorable safety profiles,with promising anti-tumor activity in patients with HER2-positive locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer.BAT8001 has the potential to provide a new therapeutic option in patients with metastatic HER2-positive breast cancer. | Ruoxi Hong Wen Xia Liye Wang Kaping Lee Qianyi Lu Kuikui Jiang Shengfeng Li Jinquan Yu Jin Wei Weijia Tang Danyang Zhou Xin An Jiajia Huang Cong Xue Xiwen Bi Yanxia Shi Zhongyu Yuan Fei Xu Shusen Wang | 2021 | Cancer Communications2021,41,2: | 2 |
| 5 | A single-center retrospective study on epidemiological and Traditional Chinese Medicine syndrome characteristics of 21010 patients with reflux/heartburn symptoms显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To provide a basis for the clinical identification of true and false reflux,integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine,and psychosomatic treatment,we conducted a retrospective study of the etiology and epidemiological and Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) syndrome characteristics of patients with reflux/heartburn symptoms.METHODS:The 210 10 patients with reflux/heartburn treated at Tianjin Nankai Hospital from January 1,2016,to December 31,2019,were divided into four groups according to their pathogenesis.Sex,age,course of disease,incidence rate,gastroscopy,24-h p Himpedance,esophageal manometry,Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA)/Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD) score,8-week proton pump inhibitor(PPI) treatment effect,and TCM syndrome characteristics were statistically analyzed.RESULTS:A total of 21010 patients(8864 men and 12146 women),with reflux/heartburn symptoms were screened,including 6284(29.9%) patients with reflux esophagitis(RE),10427(49.6%) patients with nonerosive reflux esophagitis(NERD),2430(11.6%) patients with reflux hypersensitivity(RH),and 1870(8.9%) patients with functional heartburn(FH).The incidence of the disease was higher in women than in men(P <0.0001).The ranking of the incidence of anxiety and depression in these four groups was FH > RH > NERD > RE(P < 0.0001).There were more women than men in the groups with anxiety and more men than women in the groups with depression(P < 0.0001),and there was no significant difference in the distribution of anxiety and depression between men and women(P = 0.5689).There were significant differences in TCM syndrome characteristics between NERD,RE,and functional esophageal diseases(P < 0.01).The highest proportion of functional esophageal disease TCM symptoms was Qi stagnation and phlegm obstruction syndrome(36.16%),and there was no significant difference between RH and FH.The effective rates of PPI treatment at 8 weeks in patients in the RE,NERD,RH,and FH groups were 89%,72%,54%,and 0%,respectively.RE was classified into grades A,B,C,and D according to the Los Angeles grading system.The ranking of the incidence of these four grades was A > B > C > D(P < 0.0001).The effective rates of PPI treatment at 8 weeks were 91%,81%,69%,and 63% in patients with grade A,B,C,and D RE,respectively(P < 0.0001).The highest proportion of TCM syndrome types of NERD and RE was the stagnated heat syndrome in the liver and stomach syndrome,38.99% and 33.90%,respectively.CONCLUSION:Reflux/heartburn symptoms are relatively common in middle-aged women,and NERD is the most common etiology,followed by RE,RH,and FH.The most common TCM syndrome characteristics in NERD and RE were stagnated heat syndrome in the liver and stomach syndrome,and Qi stagnation and phlegm obstruction syndrome in functional esophageal diseases.Most patients with reflux/heartburn symptoms also experienced anxiety and depression. | TANG Yanping LI Peicai LIU Xi LIU Lei GONG Yanxia WEI Xiaodong LIU Lina YANG Li | 2023 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2023,43,3: | 2 |
| 6 | Passivation of degradation path enables high performance perovskite nanoplatelet lasers with high operational stability显示文摘MAPbI_(3)perovskite has attracted widespread interests for developing low-cost near infrared semiconductor gain media.However,it faces the instability issue under operation conditions,which remains a critical challenge.It is found that the instability of the MAPbI_(3)nanoplatelet laser comes from the thermal-induced degradation progressing from the surface defects towards neighboring regions.By using PbI_(2) passivation,the defect-initiated degradation is significantly suppressed and the nanoplatelet degrades in a layer-by-layer way,enabling the MAPbI_(3)laser to sustain for 4500 s(2.7×10^(7) pulses),which is nearly three times longer than that of the nanoplatelet laser without passivation.Meanwhile,the PbI_(2) passivated MAPbI_(3)nanoplatelet laser with the nanoplatelet cavity displays a maximum quality factor up to∼7800,the highest reported for all MAPbI_(3)nanoplatelet cavities.Furthermore,a high stability MAPbI_(3)nanoplatelet laser that can last for 8500 s(5.1×10^(7) pulses)is demonstrated based on a dual passivation strategy,by retarding the defect-initiated degradation and surface-initiated degradation simultaneously.This work provides in-depth insights for understanding the operating degradation of perovskite lasers,and the dual passivation strategy paves the way for developing high stability near infrared semiconductor laser media. | GUOHUI LI HUIHUI PI YANFU WEI BOLIN ZHOU YA GAO RONG WEN YUYING HAO HAN ZHANG BENG S.ONG YANXIA CUI | 2022 | Photonics Research2022,10,6: | 2 |

| 17 | Brightness Temperature Model of Sea Foam Layer at L-band显示文摘Permittivity of a sea foam layer is very important in investigating ocean brightness temperature model. At microwave frequency, the Rayleigh method is developed to estimate the effective permittivity of the sea foam layer. To simplify the tedious calculation of sea foam effective permittivity at L band(1.4 GHz), Pade' approximation is adopted to fit the sea foam effective permittivity computed by the Rayleigh method. With this fitting formula, a new brightness temperature model of sea foam layer defined by certain geophysical parameters, such as air volume fraction(AVF), sea surface temperature(SST), sea surface salinity(SSS) and thickness of foam layer d, is given. Furthermore, the sensitivities of the brightness temperature model to SST, SSS, d and AVF of a sea foam layer at L band are discussed. The sensitivities are ranked from most to least in the order:(1) d;(2) AVF;(3) SSS;(4) SST. This result indicates that the measurement errors of d and AVF have significant impacts on the retrievals of SSS and SST. | 20 | Highly effective visible-photocatalytic hydrogen evolution and simultaneous organic pollutant degradation over an urchin-like oxygen-doped MoS_(2)/ZnIn_(2)S_(4)composite显示文摘Achieving hydrogen production and simultaneous decomposition of organic pollutants through dual-functional photocatalytic reactions has received increasing attention due to the environmentally friendly and cost-effective characteristics of this approach.In this work,an urchin-like oxygen-doped MoS_(2)/ZnIn_(2)S_(4)(OMS/ZIS)composite was fabricated for the first time using a simple solvothermal method.The unique microstructure with abundant active sites and fast charge transfer channels further shortened the charge migration distance and compressed carrier recombination.The obtained composite exhibited an efficient H2 evolution reaction rate of 12.8 mmol/g/h under visible light,which was nearly times higher than pristine ZnIn_(2)S_(4),and the apparent quantum efficiency was 14.9%(420 nm).The results of the simultaneous photocatalytic H2 evolution and organic pollutant decomposition test were satisfactory,resulting in decomposition efficiencies of resorcinol,tetracycline,and bisphenol A that reached 41.5%,63.5%,and 53.0%after 4 h,respectively,and the highest H2 evolution rate was 672.7 umol/g/h for bisphenol A.Furthermore,natural organic matter(NOM)abundantly found in actual water was adopted as an electron donor for H production under simulated sunlight irradiation,indicating the promising practicability of simultaneous hydrogen evolution and NOM decomposition.Moreover,the mechanisms of the dual-purpose photocatalytic reactions,as well as the synergistic effect between the molecular structures of the organic pollutants and the corresponding adsorption behavior on the photocatalyst surface were illustrated in detail.These obtained results may serve as an inspiration for the rational design of highly efficient,dual-functional photocatalysts in the future. | Tao Yan Qianqian Yang Rui Feng Xiang Ren Yanxia Zhao Meng Sun Liangguo Yan Qin Wei | 2022 | Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2022,16,10: | 1 |
