1Predicting geological hazards during tunnel construction显示文摘The complicated geological conditions and geological hazards are challenging problems during tunnel construction,which will cause great losses of life and property.Therefore,reliable prediction of geological defective features,such as faults,karst caves and groundwater,has important practical significances and theoretical values.In this paper,we presented the criteria for detecting typical geological anomalies using the tunnel seismic prediction(TSP) method.The ground penetrating radar(GPR) signal response to water-bearing structures was used for theoretical derivations.And the 3D tomography of the transient electromagnetic method(TEM) was used to develop an equivalent conductance method.Based on the improvement of a single prediction technique,we developed a technical system for reliable prediction of geological defective features by analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of all prediction methods.The procedure of the application of this system was introduced in detail.For prediction,the selection of prediction methods is an important and challenging work.The analytic hierarchy process(AHP) was developed for prediction optimization.We applied the newly developed prediction system to several important projects in China,including Hurongxi highway,Jinping II hydropower station,and Kiaochow Bay subsea tunnel.The case studies show that the geological defective features can be successfully detected with good precision and efficiency,and the prediction system is proved to be an effective means to minimize the risks of geological hazards during tunnel construction.Shucai Li Shuchen Li Qingsong Zhang Yiguo Xue Bin Liu Maoxin Su Zhechao Wang Shugang Wang 2010Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2010,2,3:25
2PKM2 coordinates glycolysis with mitochondrial fusion and oxidative phosphorylation显示文摘A change in the metabolic flux of glucose from mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation (OXPHOS) to aerobic glycolysis is regarded as one hallmark of cancer. However, the mechanisms underlying the metabolic switch between aerobic glycolysis and OXPHOS are unclear. Here we show that the M2 isoform of pyruvate kinase (PKM2), one of the rate-limiting enzymes in glycolysis, interacts with mitofusin 2 (MFN2), a key regulator of mitochondrial fusion, to promote mitochondrial fusion and OXPHOS, and attenuate glycolysis. mTOR increases the PKM2:MFN2 interaction by phosphorylating MFN2 and thereby modulates the effect of PKM2: MFN2 on glycolysis, mitochondrial fusion and OXPHOS. 3Air-sea heat flux exchange over the South China Sea under different weather conditions before and after southwest monsoon onset in 2000显示文摘With the data observed from the Second SCS Air-Sea Flux Experiment on the Xisha air-sea flux research tower, the radiation budget, latent, sensible heat fluxes and net oceanic heat budgetswere caculated before and after summer monsoon onset. It is discovered that, after summer monsoononset, there are considerable changes in air-sea fluxes, especially in latent heat fluxes and net oceanicheat budget. Furthermre, the analyzed results of five synoptic stages are compared. And the character-istics of the flux transfer during different stages around onset of South China Sea monsoon are discussed.The flux change shows that there is an oceanic heat accumulating process during the pre-onset and thebreak period, as same as oceanic heat losing process during the onset period. Moreover, latent fluxes,the water vapor moving to the continent, even the rainfall appearance in Chinese Mainland also can beinfluenced by southwester. Comparing Xisha fluxes with those obtained from the Indian Ocean and thewestern Pacific Ocean, their differences may be obeerved. 4Application of GA-SVM in classification of surrounding rock based on model reliability examination显示文摘In order to improve the discrimination precision of support vector machine(SVM) in classification of surrounding rock, a Genetic Algorithm(GA) was used to optimize SVM parameters in the solution space.The idea of examination of model reliability was introduced to check the reliability of the SVM parameters,obtained by genetic algorithms.In the process of model reliability,a trend examination method is presented,which checks the reliability of the model via the influence trend of impact factors on the object of evaluation and their evaluation level.Trend examination methods are universal,showing new ideas in model reliability examination and can be used in any problems of examination of reliability of models,based on previous experience.We established a GA-SVM based reliability model of a classification the surrounding rock and applied it to a practical engineering situation.The result shows that the improved SVM has a high capability for generalization and prediction accuracy in classification of surrounding rock.QIU Daohong LI Shucai ZHANG Lewen XUE Yiguo 2010Mining Science and Technology2010,20,3:6

6Effect of electronic stimulation at Neiguan(PC 6) acupoint on gene expression of adenosine triphosphate-sensitive potassium channel and protein kinases in rats with myocardial ischemia显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effects of electronic stimulation at acupoints Neiguan(PC 6) and Lieque(LU 7) on the gene expression of the adenosine triphosphate(ATP)-Sensitive potassium channel(KATP:Kir6.1,Kir6.2,SUR2 A,and SUR2B) and protein kinases(PKA,PKG,and PKCβ2) in myocardial cells of rats with myocardial ischemia(Ml) induced by isoproterenol(ISO).METHODS:Rats were randomly divided into a control,model,Neiguan(PC 6),Lieque(LU 7),and non-acupoint groups.The Ml model was established by injecting rats with ISO.Electro-acupuncture treatment was given to the acupuncture groups,once a day for 7 days.Gene expression was analyzed with real-time PCR.RESULTS:The gene expression of KATP and protein kinases in the model group was higher than those in the control group(P < 0.05).After acupuncture treatment,the KATP and protein kinase expression levels were significantly lower in the Neiguan(PC 6)and Lieque(LU 7) groups compared with the model group[P < 0.05).The Neiguan(PC 6) group lowered these levels significantly more than that of the Lieque(LU 7) group(P < 0.05).No significant differences were observed between the model and non-acupoint groups(P > 0.05).CONCLUSION:Our findings suggest that electronic needling of Neiguan(PC 6) can both reduce the gene expression of KATP and protein kinases in rats with ISO-induced Ml.Wang Wei Li Jiquan Meng Xiangyu Chen Yiguo 2015Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2015,35,5:4
7An Optimal Control Strategy for Multi-UAVs Target Tracking and Cooperative Competition显示文摘An optimal control strategy of winner-take-all(WTA)model is proposed for target tracking and cooperative competition of multi-UAVs(unmanned aerial vehicles).In this model,firstly,based on the artificial potential field method,the artificial potential field function is improved and the fuzzy control decision is designed to realize the trajectory tracking of dynamic targets.Secondly,according to the finite-time convergence high-order differentiator,a double closed-loop UAV speed tracking the controller is designed to realize the speed control and tracking of the target tracking trajectory.Numerical simulation results show that the designed speed tracking controller has the advantages of fast tracking,high precision,strong stability and avoiding chattering.Finally,a cooperative competition scheme of multiple UAVs based on WTA is designed to find the minimum control energy from multiple UAVs and realize the optimal control strategy.Theoretical analysis and numerical simulation results show that the model has the fast convergence,high control accuracy,strong stability and good robustness.Yiguo Yang Liefa Liao Hong Yang Shuai Li 2021IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2021,8,12:4

9Comparative WGBS identifies genes that influence non-ripe phenotype in tomato epimutant Colourless non-ripening显示文摘Whole-genome bisulfite sequencing(WGBS)allows single-base resolution and genome-wide profiling of DNA methylation in plants and animals.This technology provides a powerful tool to identify genes that are potentially controlled by dynamic changes of DNA methylation and demethylation.However,naturally occurring epimutants are rare and genes under epigenetic regulation as well as their biological relevances are often difficult to define.In tomato,fruit development and ripening are a complex process that involves epigenetic control.We have taken the advantage of the tomato epimutant Colourless non-ripening(Cnr)and performed comparative mining of the WGBS datasets for the Cnr and Sl CMT3-silenced Cnr fruits.We compared DNA methylation profiles for the promoter sequences of approximately 5,000 bp immediately upstream of the coding region of a list of20 genes.Differentially methylated regions were found for some of these genes.Virus-induced gene silencing(VIGS)of differentially methylated gene Sl DET1 or Sl PDS resulted in unusual brown pigmentation in Cnr fruits.These results suggest that comparative WGBS coupled with VIGS can be used to identify genes that may contribute to the colourless unripe phenotype of fruit in the Cnr epimutant.Weiwei Chen Zhiming Yu Junhua Kong Hui Wang Yichen Li Mei Zhao Xiaohong Wang Qianqian Zheng Nongnong Shi Pengcheng Zhang Silin Zhong Paul Hunter Mahmut Tor Yiguo Hong 2018Science China(Life Sciences)2018,61,2:3
10A new evaluation method for site selection of large underground water-sealed petroleum storage depots显示文摘Scientific site selection is the first step in constructing underground water-sealed petroleum storage depots, but no uniform standard and code for such activity has been established. Therefore, the main objective of this study is to propose an evaluation method for the site selection of an underground water-sealed petroleum storage depot. The first large underground water-sealed petroleum storage depot being built in China served as the background of this study. The following 12 indexes were used as evaluation factors based on comprehensive evaluation criteria and specifications for key project site selection: geographic structure development feature, topographic feature, lithostratic formation feature, crustal stress, strength of rock mass, joint development feature, hydrogeological conditions, long-term water sealing conditions, environmental/ecological vulnerability, regional stability, technical and economic conditions, and meteorological and hydrological conditions. The weight back analysis and power coefficient methods were also used to evaluate the site selected for the first underground water-sealed petroleum storage depot project. Petroleum site classification models based on the two aforementioned methods were established and used to verify the feasibility of the evaluation criteria and methods, and the evaluation results show the grade of the site selected for the underground water-sealed petroleum storage depot in Huangdao, China is good. 11Overexpression of amplified in breast cancer 1 (AIB1) gene promotes lung adenocarcinoma aggressiveness in vitro and in vivo by upregulating C-X-C motif chemokine receptor 4显示文摘Background:We previously found that overexpression of the gene known as amplified in breast cancer 1(AIB1)was associated with lymph node metastasis and poor prognosis in patients with lung adenocarcinoma.However,the role of AIB1 in that malignancy remains unknown.The present study aimed to investigate the function of AIB1 in the process of lung adenocarcinoma cell metastasis.Methods:A series of in vivo and in vitro assays were performed to elucidate the function of AIB1,while real-time PCR and Western blotting were utilized to identify the potential downstream targets of AIB1 in the process of lung adenocarcinoma metastasis.Rescue experiments and in vitro assays were performed to investigate whether the invasive-ness of AIB1-induced lung adenocarcinoma was mediated by C-X-C motif chemokine receptor 4(CXCR4).Results:The ectopic overexpression of AIB1 in lung adenocarcinoma cells substantially enhanced cell migration and invasive abilities in vitro and tumor metastasis in vivo,whereas the depletion of AIB1 expression substantially inhibited lung adenocarcinoma cell migration and invasion.CXCR4 was identified as a potential downstream target of AIB1 in lung adenocarcinoma.The knockdown of AIB1 greatly reduced CXCR4 gene expression at both the transcription and protein levels,whereas the knockdown of CXCR4 in cells with AIB1 ectopic overexpression diminished AIB1-induced migration and invasion in vitro and tumor metastasis in vivo.Furthermore,we found a significant positive association between the expression of AIB1 and CXCR4 in lung adenocarcinoma patients(183 cases),and the co-overexpression of AIB1 and CXCR4 predicted the poorest prognosis.Conclusions:These findings suggest that AIB1 promotes the aggressiveness of lung adenocarcinoma in vitro and in vivo by upregulating CXCR4 and that it might be usable as a novel prognostic marker and/or therapeutic target for this disease.Liru He Haixia Deng Shiliang Liu Jiewei Chen Binkui Li Chenyuan Wang Xin Wang Yiguo Jiang Ningfang Ma Mengzhong Liu Dan Xie 2018Cancer Communications2018,38,1:2

16GA-based nonlinear predictive switching control for a boiler-turbine system显示文摘In this paper, the problem of designing a controller for a highly coupled constrained nonlinear boilerturbine system is addressed with a predictive controller. First, a nonlinear predictive control is implemented by genetic algorithm. Second, to guarantee fast output stabilization, an H-infinity fuzzy state-feedback tracking control is applied with a designed switching principle. The success of such a control structure is based on taking advantage of the optimal input sequence derived from the nonlinear predictive control based on artificial intelligent while ensuring a fast decay of the steady state error.
