3Genetic architecture and key genes controlling the diversity of oil composition in rice grains显示文摘Rice grain oil is a valuable nutrient source.However,the genetic basis of oil biosynthesis in rice grains remains unclear.In this study,we performed a genome-wide association study on oil composition and oil concentration in a diverse panel of 533 cultivated rice accessions.High variation for 11 oil-related traits was observed,and the oil composition of rice grains showed differentiation among the subpopulations.We identified 46 loci that are significantly associated with grain oil concentration or composition,16 of which were detected in three recombinant inbred line populations.Twenty-six candidate genes encoding enzymes involved in oil metabolism were identified from these 46 loci,four of which(PAL6,LIN6,MYR2,and ARA6)were found to contribute to natural variation in oil composition and to show differentiation among the subpopulations.Interestingly,population genetic analyses revealed that specific haplotypes of PAL6 and LIN6 have been selected in japonica rice.Based on these results,we propose a possible oil biosynthetic pathway in rice grains.Collectively,our results provide new insights into the genetic basis of oil biosynthesis in rice grains and can facilitate marker-based breeding of rice varieties with enhanced oil and grain quality.Hao Zhou Duo Xia Pingbo Li Yiting Ao Xiaodong Xu Shanshan Wan Yanhua Li Bian Wu Huan Shi Kaiyue Wang Guanjun Gao Qinglu Zhang Gongwei Wang Jinghua Xiao Xianghua Li Sibin Yu Xingming Lian Yuqing He 2021Molecular Plant2021,14,3:4
4A waveguide metasurface based quasi-far-field transverse-electric superlens显示文摘The imaging capability of conventional lenses is mainly limited by the diffraction of light,and the so-called superlens has been developed allowing the recovery of evanescent waves in the focal plane.However,the remarkable focusing behavi-or of the superlens is greatly confined in the near-field regime due to the exponential decay of evanescent waves.To tackle this issue,we design a waveguide metasurface-based superlens with an extraordinary quasi-far-field focusing capability beyond the diffraction limit in the present work.Specifically,we analyze the underlying physical mechanism and provide experimental verification of the proposed superlens.The metasurface superlens is formed by an array of gradient nanoslits perforated in a gold slab,and supports transverse-electric(TE)waveguide modes under linearly polar-ized illumination along the long axis of the slits.Numerical results illustrate that exciting such TE waveguide modes can modulate not only optical phase but also evanescent waves.Consequently,some high-spatial-frequency waves can con-tribute to the focusing of the superlens,leading to the quasi-far-field super-resolution focusing of light.Under 405 nm illu-mination and oil immersion,the fabricated superlens shows a focus spot of 98 nm(i.e.λ/4.13)at a focal distance of 1.49μm(i.e.3.68λ)using an oil immersion objective,breaking the diffraction limit ofλ/2.38 in the quasi-far field regime.The developed metasurface optical superlens with such extraordinary capabilities promises exciting avenues to nanolitho-graphy and ultra-small optoelectronic devices.Yechuan Zhu Xiaolin Chen Weizheng Yuan Zhiqin Chu Kwok-yin Wong Dangyuan Lei Yiting Yu 2021Opto-Electronic Advances2021,4,10:3
5Structural Characteristics and their Significance for Hydrocarbon Accumulation in the Northern Slope of the Central Sichuan Paleo-uplift显示文摘Based on 2D and 3D seismic data,the latest drilling data and field outcrop data of the northern slope of the Central Sichuan paleo-uplift,the structural analysis method is used to analyze unconformity development characteristics and fault characteristics during the key structural transformation period,discussing the influence of the structural characteristics on the hydrocarbon accumulation of deep carbonate rocks.The results show that:(1)The two key unconformities of the Tongwan and Caledonian periods were primarily developed in deep carbonate rocks.Firstly,Tongwan’s unconformities are characterized by regional disconformities between the second and third members of the Dengying Formation,the top formation of the Sinian and the lower Cambrian,strips of which zigzag through the north and south sides of the study area.Secondly,the Caledonian unconformity is characterized by a regional unconformable contact between the lower Permian and the ower Paleozoic strata.From NE to SW,the age of the strata,which were subject to erosion,changes from new to old,the denudation distribution showing as a nose-shaped structure which inclines towards the ENE.(2)Boundary fault and transtensional strike-slip faults developed in the Sinian to Paleozoic strata.In profile,there are three types of structural styles:steep and erect,flower structures,’Y’and reversed’Y’type faults.In plane view,the Sinian developed extensional boundary faults extending in an almost NS direction,strike-slip faults developing and extending linearly in approximately EW,WNW and NE strikes in the Cambrian,with characteristically more in the south and less in the north.(3)The faults in the northern slope show obvious zonal deformations in transverse view as well as significant stages and stratified activity in a longitudinal direction.Among them,the activity of faults in the Sinian was the strongest,followed by the activity in the Cambrian period,the activity intensity of faults in the Permian period being the weakest.This fault activity can be divided into four periods:Sinian,Cambrian-Permian,the early Indosinian period and the late Indosinian-Himalayan period,the transtensional strikeslip faults being the products of oblique extensions of pre-existing weak zones in the Xingkai and Emei taphrogenesis,with a particular inheritance in the main faults.(4)Combined with hydrocarbon accumulation factors,it is considered that the epigenetic karstification of the Tongwan and Caledonian unconformities in the northern slope controlled the formation and distribution of carbonate karst reservoirs over a large area,also acting as a good pathway for oil and gas migration.The extensional faults developed at the margin of the NS trending rift,controlling the sag-platform sedimentary pattern in the Dengying Formation of the Sinian.Strike-slip faults in NE,WNW and ENE directions may control the microgeomorphological pattern inside the platform and intensify the differential distribution of grain beach facies.The multi-stage hereditary activity of strike-slip faults not only improved the porosity and permeability of the reservoirs,but also acted as the main channel of oil and gas migration,providing favorable conditions for the development of the current multi-layer gasbearing scenario in the northern slope of the Central Sichuan Basin.TIAN Xingwang LIU Guangdi LUO Bing YANG Yu WEN Long ZHANG Benjian CHEN Xiao SU Guiping SONG Zezhang PENG Hanlin ZHOU Gang YAN Wei YANG Dailin WANG Yunlong SUN Yiting DOU Shuang 2022Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2022,96,4:2

11Preparation, Characterization and Pharmacokinetics of Fluorescence Labeled Propylene Glycol Alginate Sodium Sulfate显示文摘A rapid and sensitive fluorescence labeling method was developed and validated for the microanalysis of a sulfated polysaccharide drug,namely propylene glycol alginate sodium sulfate(PSS), in rat plasma. Fluorescein isothiocyanate(FITC) was selected to label PSS, and 1, 6-diaminohexane was used to link PSS and FITC in order to prepare FITC-labeled PSS(F-PSS) through a reductive amination reaction. F-PSS was identified by UV-Vis, FT-IR and 1H-NMR spectrum. The cell stability and cytotoxicity of F-PSS were tested in Madin-Darby canine kidney(MDCK) cells. The results indicated that the labeling efficiency of F-PSS was 0.522% ± 0.0248% and the absolute bioavailability was 8.39%. F-PSS was stable in MDCK cells without obvious cytotoxicity. The method was sensitive and reliable; it showed a good linearity, precision, recovery and stability. 14DMD-based hyperspectra I microscopy with flexible multiline parallel scanning显示文摘As one of the most common hyperspearal microscopy(HSM)techniques,line-scanning HSM is currently utilized in many fields.However,its scanning efficiency is still considered to be inadequate since many biological and chemical processes occur too rapidly to be captured.Accordingly,in this work,a digital micromirror device(DMD)based on microelectromechanical systems(MEMS)is utilized to demonstrate a flexible multiline scanning HSM system.To the best of our knowledge,this is the first line-scanning HSM system in which the number of scanning lines N can be tuned by simply changing the DMD's parallel scanning units according to diverse applications.This brilliant strategy of effortless adjustability relies only on on-chip scanning methods and totally exploits the benefits of parallelization,aiming to achieve nearly an A/-time improvement in the detection efficiency and an N-time decrease in the scanning time and data volume compared with the single-line method under the same operating conditions.To validate this,we selected a few samples of different spectral wavebands to perform reflection imaging,transmission imaging,and fluorescence imaging with varying numbers of scanning lines.The results show the great potential of our DMD-based HSM system for the rapid development of cellular biology,material analysis,and so on.In addition,its on-chip scanning process eliminates the inherent microscopic architecture,making the whole system compact,lightweight,portable,and not subject to site constraints.Xue Dong Geng Tong Xuankun Song Xingchen Xiao Yiting Yu 2021Microsystems & Nanoengineering2021,7,5:1

19Looking for positive viewpoints for Alzheimer's caregivers:Case evaluation of a positive energy group显示文摘Objective:As estimated in a report of global Alzheimer’s disease published by Alzheimer’s Disease International in 2015,there will be 9.9 million new patients worldwide with Alzheimer’s disease in 2015,with a new Alzheimer’s patient diagnosed,on average,every 3 seconds.Since Alzheimer’s disease is an irreversible disease,the most that can be done for Alzheimer’s patients is to merely delay the onset of disease,which to date cannot be completely cured.Therefore,even though great effort is put into caring for the patient,caregivers should not expect any substantial changes.The caring process is a dynamic process that contains negative and positive experiences.During the caring period,not only do caregivers spend a lot of effort and work very hard to help the patient,but in fact care recipients themselves also give energy to caregivers.This study attempts to take a positive energy viewpoint to explore and design a program that is suitable for Alzheimer’s caregivers.The aims of the study were as follows:(a)to explore the needs and burdens of Alzheimer’s caregivers in the treatment process of patients,(b)to design a program that meets the needs of the caregivers,and(c)to evaluate the effects of implementing a program.Methods:The study is a qualitative study employing in‐depth interviews.Interviews were conducted from September 2015 to December 2015;the interview results were reviewed and a positive energy group program was designed.Pre‐test and post‐test interviews were carried out for the program so as to evaluate the effects of the program.Results:According to the caregiver interview results,we understand the caring needs and caring process of caregivers.From the interview results,we now know that caregivers’continuous care mainly comes from positive energy in psychological,social and relationship aspects.Positive energy seems to have been affecting caregivers’caring ability and willingness.Therefore,a two‐stage group activity program was designed to provide a recollective handmade craft group and an art therapy group.Research results of the study show that when the main caregivers of Alzheimer’s patients took part in group activities,positive energy in social and relationship aspects increased for the caregiver group too.Conclusions:From these intervention programs caregivers could obtain more knowledge of patient care and these activities could effectively lighten caregivers’burdens.Wenchien Hsieh Qinying Chen Qingling Sun Peixuan Chen Yijia Chen Wenting Xu Yiting Zhang Yiqian Yu Yimei Huang 2016Translational Neuroscience and Clinics2016,2,1:0
