| 1 | A waveguide metasurface based quasi-far-field transverse-electric superlens显示文摘The imaging capability of conventional lenses is mainly limited by the diffraction of light,and the so-called superlens has been developed allowing the recovery of evanescent waves in the focal plane.However,the remarkable focusing behavi-or of the superlens is greatly confined in the near-field regime due to the exponential decay of evanescent waves.To tackle this issue,we design a waveguide metasurface-based superlens with an extraordinary quasi-far-field focusing capability beyond the diffraction limit in the present work.Specifically,we analyze the underlying physical mechanism and provide experimental verification of the proposed superlens.The metasurface superlens is formed by an array of gradient nanoslits perforated in a gold slab,and supports transverse-electric(TE)waveguide modes under linearly polar-ized illumination along the long axis of the slits.Numerical results illustrate that exciting such TE waveguide modes can modulate not only optical phase but also evanescent waves.Consequently,some high-spatial-frequency waves can con-tribute to the focusing of the superlens,leading to the quasi-far-field super-resolution focusing of light.Under 405 nm illu-mination and oil immersion,the fabricated superlens shows a focus spot of 98 nm(i.e.λ/4.13)at a focal distance of 1.49μm(i.e.3.68λ)using an oil immersion objective,breaking the diffraction limit ofλ/2.38 in the quasi-far field regime.The developed metasurface optical superlens with such extraordinary capabilities promises exciting avenues to nanolitho-graphy and ultra-small optoelectronic devices. | Yechuan Zhu Xiaolin Chen Weizheng Yuan Zhiqin Chu Kwok-yin Wong Dangyuan Lei Yiting Yu | 2021 | Opto-Electronic Advances2021,4,10: | 3 |

| 3 | Nitrogen-Doped TiO_2–C Composite Nanofibers with High-Capacity and Long-Cycle Life as Anode Materials for Sodium-Ion Batteries显示文摘Nitrogen-doped TiO_2–C composite nanofibers(TiO_2/N–C NFs) were manufactured by a convenient and green electrospinning technique in which urea acted as both the nitrogen source and a pore-forming agent. The TiO_2/N–C NFs exhibit a large specific surface area(213.04 m^2 g^(-1)) and a suitable nitrogen content(5.37 wt%). The large specific surface area can increase the contribution of the extrinsic pseudocapacitance, which greatly enhances the rate capability. Further, the diffusion coefficient of sodium ions(DNa_+) could be greatly improved by the incorporation of nitrogen atoms. Thus, the TiO_2/N–C NFs display excellent electrochemical properties in Na-ion batteries. A TiO_2/N–C NF anode delivers a high reversible discharge capacity of 265.8 mAh g^(-1) at 0.05 A g^(-1) and an outstanding long cycling performance even at a high current density(118.1 m Ah g^(-1)) with almost no capacity decay at 5 A g^(-1) over 2000 cycles. | 4 | Analysis of the formation process and performance of magnetic Fe_3O_4@Poly(4-vinylpyridine) absorbent prepared by in-situ synthesis显示文摘The morphology evolution of the mesoporous magnetic composite nanospheres Fe_3O_4@Poly(4-vinylpyridine) during the formation process and its absorption property of Congo red were studied in this study. A simple solvothermal method was applied for the fabrication of Fe_3O_4@Poly(4-vinylpyridine)composites with regular structure and uniform size distribution in the presence of 4-vinylpyridine as the structure inducer. The morphology, structure and magnetism performance were characterized and the adsorption model and mechanism were discussed. The results showed that the Fe_3O_4@Poly(4-vinylpyridine) composites were efficient adsorbent for the removal of Congo red from water and it could be reused by a magnetic separation.
