| 1 | Effects of citrus tree-shape and spraying height of small unmanned aerial vehicle on droplet distribution显示文摘In order to explore the droplet penetration of spraying with unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)on citrus trees with different shapes,the tests were carried out at different working heights.The material was five years old Cocktail grapefruit(Citrus paradisi cv.Cocktail)grafted on Trafoliata(Poncirus trifoliata L.Raf.)and the type of UAV sprayer used was the 3W-LWS-Q60S.A solution of 300 times Ponceau 2R diluents liquid instead of pesticide was used for citrus fields spraying and the droplets were collected by paper cards.Droplets deposition parameters were extracted and analyzed using digital image processing after scanning the cards.The results showed that:1)For the trees with round head shape canopy,the droplet depositions of the upper,middle and lower layers had a significant difference at 0.05 level.The droplet deposition had the best effect when the working height was 1.0 m,where the average droplet deposition densities were 39.97 droplets/cm2 and the average droplet size was 0.30 mm,but the droplet coverage(3.19%)was lower than that at the working height of 1.5 m(4.27%).2)Under three different working heights of UAV,the tree with open center shape can obtain higher droplet deposition density at all three layers than that with the round head shape canopy.It was especially prominent when the working height was 1.0 m,as the middle layer increased by 49.92%.However,the higher range of droplet deposition density meant larger fluctuation and dispersion.3)The open center shape canopy and the 1.0 m working height obviously improved the droplet coverage rate and droplet density in the citrus plant.For these parameters of open center shape citrus tree,there was no obvious difference in the front and rear direction,but in the left and middle part of the tree crown,the difference reached a 0.05 significant level.Considering droplet deposition characteristics and the spray uniformity,the UAV performed better when working on open center shape plants at a 1.0 m working height. | Zhang Pan Deng Lie Lyu Qiang He Shaolan Yi Shilai Liu Yande Yu Yongxu Pan Haiyang | 2016 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2016,9,4: | 37 |
| 2 | Review of Remotely Sensed Imagery Classification Patterns Based on Object-oriented Image Analysis显示文摘With the wide use of high-resolution remotely sensed imagery, the object-oriented remotely sensed informa- tion classification pattern has been intensively studied. Starting with the definition of object-oriented remotely sensed information classification pattern and a literature review of related research progress, this paper sums up 4 developing phases of object-oriented classification pattern during the past 20 years. Then, we discuss the three aspects of method- ology in detail, namely remotely sensed imagery segmentation, feature analysis and feature selection, and classification rule generation, through comparing them with remotely sensed information classification method based on per-pixel. | 3 | A high-quality genome sequence of alkaligrass provides insights into halophyte stress tolerance显示文摘Alkaligrass(Puccinellia tenuiflora) is a monocotyledonous halophytic forage grass widely distributed in Northern China. It belongs to the Gramineae family and shares a close phylogenetic relationship with the cereal crops, wheat and barley. Here, we present a high-quality chromosome-level genome sequence of alkaligrass assembled from Illumina, Pac Bio and 10× Genomics reads combined with genome-wide chromosome conformation capture(Hi-C) data. The ~1.50 Gb assembled alkaligrass genome encodes 38,387 protein-coding genes, and 54.9% of the assembly are transposable elements, with long terminal repeats being the most abundant. Comparative genomic analysis coupled with stress-treated transcriptome profiling uncovers a set of unique saline-and alkaline-responsive genes in alkaligrass. The high-quality genome assembly and the identified stress related genes in alkaligrass provide an important resource for evolutionary genomic studies in Gramineae and facilitate further understanding of molecular mechanisms underlying stress tolerance in monocotyledonous halophytes. | 6 | Survey of reefs based on Landsat 8 operational land imager(OLI)images in the Nansha Islands, South China Sea显示文摘A detailed survey of the reefs in the Nansha Islands' sea that are of strategic importance is conducive to their future development. In this study, a total of 50 Landsat 8 operational land imager(OLI) images were used to analyze the geological features and spectral characteristics of the Nansha reefs. The exposed islands/sandbanks,reef flats and sub-tidal reefs were identified with the near-infrared band, the red and green bands, and the blue band, respectively. Based on the relationships among various characteristics and bands illustrated in the OLI images, the maximum between-cluster variance threshold algorithm(OTSU method) and the mathematical morphology were employed to extract characteristic parameters of the spatial geometry of the reefs from top to bottom, which were subsequently operated by a series of post-processing methods such as vectorization,simplification and topological analysis. Among the 132 standalone reefs and 16 atolls that are identified in the study, four reefs have yet to be named in the Standard Names of Various Islands in the South China Sea and the website Nansha Islands Online(http://gffzzd4db47f6efa542b8hxvcwcu9bvfp96cuu.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/). Another 24 ones are exposed to the atmosphere even during high tides. Taiping Island with an area of 0.57 km^2 represents the largest exposed geological feature. | 9 | Onshore-offshore wind energy resource evaluation based on synergetic use of multiple satellite data and meteorological stations in Jiangsu Province,China显示文摘The demand for efficient and cost-effective renewable energy is increasing as traditional sources of energy such as oil,coal,and natural gas,can no longer satisfy growing global energy demands.Among renewable energies,wind energy is the most prominent due to its low, manageable impacts on the local environment.Based on meteorological data from 2006 to 2014 and multi-source satellite data (i.e.,Advanced Scatterometer,Quick Scatterometer,and Windsat)from 1999 to 2015,an assessment of the onshore and offshore wind energy potential in Jiangsu Province was performed by calculating the average wind speed,average wind direction,wind power density, and annual energy production (AEP).Results show that Jiangsu has abundant wind energy resources,which increase from inland to coastal areas.In-onshore areas, wind power density is predominantly less than 200 W/m^2, while in offshore areas,wind power density is concentrates in the range of 328-500 W/m^2.Onshore areas comprise more than 13,573.24 km^2,mainly located in eastern coastal regions with good wind farm potential The total wind power capacity in onshore areas could be as much as 2.06×10^5 GWh.Meanwhile,offshore wind power generation in Jiangsu Province is calculated to reach 2×10^6 GWh, which is approximately four times the electricity demand of the entire Jiangsu Province.This study validates the effective application of Advanced Scatterometer,Quick Scatterometer,and Windsat data to coastal wind energy monitoring in Jiangsu.Moreover,the methodology used in this study can be effectively applied to other similar coastal zones. | Xianglin WEI Yuewei DUAN Yongxue LIU Song JIN Chao SUN | 2019 | Frontiers of Earth Science2019,13,1: | 4 |

| 12 | Fast inverse covariance matrix computation based on element-order recursive method for space-time adaptive processing显示文摘Because of large computational complexity in the inverse space-time covariance matrix computation,the conventional space-time adaptive processing(STAP) is unsuitable for practical implementation. According to the block Hermitian matrix property of covariance matrix, a new element-order recursive method is proposed in this paper to calculate the inverse space-time covariance matrix for STAP weight vector. In the proposed method, the inverse space-time covariance matrix of first element-order is initially calculated recursively based on block Hermitian matrix property, and then the inverse space-time covariance matrix of high element-order is correspondingly deduced recursively based on obtained inverse covariance matrix of previous element-order.Finally, STAP weight vector is calculated based on the final inverse covariance matrix. Afterwards, a modified reduced-dimension STAP method is derived by combining the proposed method with the m-Doppler Transformation(m DT-SAP) STAP approach. Based on the simulated and the actual airborne phased array radar data, the proposed method verified that the computational complexity is much smaller than conventional STAP methods. | 20 | The oxygen isotopic composition of phosphate as an effective tracer for phosphate sources in Hongfeng Lake显示文摘In order to characterize the oxygen isotopic composition of internal phosphate and explore the possibility of using these data to identify phosphate sources, we measured oxygen isotopic compositions of phosphate(δ^(18)O_p) in sediment pore water in Hongfeng Lake, a typical deep-water lake in a mountainous area. These data, in combination with δ^(18)O_p in surface water samples and water column samples, were successfully used to identify phosphate sources. The δ^(18)O_p value of sediment pore water ranged from 15.2% to 15.8%, with an average value of 15.5%—the δ^(18)O_p value of internal phosphate. The δ^(18)O_p values decreased gradually through the water column from 19.4% in surface water to 16.4% in deeper water, implying that internal phosphate had more negative δ^(18)O_p values than external phosphate. This finding was substantiated by horizontal variations in δ^(18)O_p values, which decreased with increasing distance from inflowing rivers. All collected evidence suggests that external and internal phosphate have distinctly different isotopic signatures and that these signatures have not been considerably altered by biological mediation in Hongfeng Lake. Therefore, δ^(18)O_p can be used to distinguish phosphate sources. A two-endmember mixing model showed that internal phosphate had an average contribution of 40%, highlighting the influence of internal phosphorus loading on aqueous phosphate and eutrophication. This study illustrates the need to reduce the internal phosphorus load from sediment and provides guidance for nutrient management and in-lake restoration treatment in Hongfeng Lake. The data presented here are limited, but serve to highlight the great potential of δ^(18)O_p as an effective tracer for identifying phosphate sources.
