1A new kind of optimal second-order symplectic scheme for seismic wave simulations显示文摘Here we introduce generalized momentum and coordinate to transform seismic wave displacement equations into Hamiltonian system.We define the Lie operators associated with kinetic and potential energy,and construct a new kind of second order symplectic scheme,which is extremely suitable for high efficient and long-term seismic wave simulations.Three sets of optimal coefficients are obtained based on the principle of minimum truncation error.We investigate the stability conditions for elastic wave simulation in homogeneous media.These newly developed symplectic schemes are compared with common symplectic schemes to verify the high precision and efficiency in theory and numerical experiments.One of the schemes presented here is compared with the classical Newmark algorithm and third order symplectic scheme to test the long-term computational ability.The scheme gets the same synthetic surface seismic records and single channel record as third order symplectic scheme in the seismic modeling in the heterogeneous model.LIU ShaoLin LI XiaoFan WANG WenShuai LIU YouShan ZHANG MeiGen ZHANG Huan 2014Science China Earth Sciences2014,57,4:8
2Juvenile hominoid cranium from the terminal Miocene of Yunnan,China显示文摘Fossil apes are known from several late Miocene localities in Yunnan Province,southwestern China,principally from Shihuiba(Lufeng)and the Yuanmou Basin,and represent three species of Lufengpithecus.They mostly comprise large samples of isolated teeth,but there are also several partial or complete adult crania from Shihuiba and a single juvenile cranium from Yuanmou.Here we describe a new,relatively complete and largely undistorted juvenile cranium from the terminal Miocene locality of Shuitangba,also in Yunnan.It is only the second ape juvenile cranium recovered from the Miocene of Eurasia and it is provisionally assigned to the species present at Shihuiba,Lufengpithecus lufengensis.Lufengpithecus has most often been linked to the extant orangutan,Pongo pygmaeus,but recent studies of the crania from Shihuiba and Yuanmou have demonstrated that this is unlikely.The new cranium reinforces the view that Lufengpithecus represents a distinct,late surviving lineage of large apes in the late Miocene of East Asia that does not appear to be closely affiliated with any extant ape lineage.It substantially increases knowledge of cranial morphology in Lufengpithecus and demonstrates that species of this genus represent a morphologically diverse radiation of apes,which is consistent with the dynamic tectonic and biotic milieu of southwestern China in the late Miocene.JI XuePing JABLONSKI Nina G SU Denise F DENG ChengLong FLYNN Lawrence J YOU YouShan KELLEY Jay 2013Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,31:8

6Prediction of Deformation and Footprint of High-speed Rotating Radial Tires显示文摘In this research,the tire deformations due to rotation are divided into three parts:tread,belt and carcass.Tread deformation is obtained by using a rotating hollow cylinder model,belt expansion is calculated according to the laminated composite shell theory,and a formula of dynamic equilibrium profile is built to investigate carcass deformation.Moreover,a simple method is used to predict the footprint changes caused by tire deformation.Results show that a large deformation is occurring at tire shoulder,a smaller one at tread centre,and the shoulder deformations are mostly caused by carcass.Length of footprint side edges increase with tire rolling speed increasing.The predicted tread,belt,carcass deformations and footprint changes are in good agreement with finite element analysis results.The proposed method and the results will offer a helpful guidance to tire and vehicle engineers.CUI Zhibo CHAI Delong LYU Jiafeng HU Kai ZHANG Chunsheng HOU Dandan WANG Youshan 2020橡胶工业2020,67,5:2

8An efficient source wavefield reconstruction scheme using single boundary layer values for the spectral element method显示文摘In the adjoint-state method, the forward-propagated source wavefield and the backward-propagated receiver wavefield must be available simultaneously either for seismic imaging in migration or for gradient calculation in inversion. A feasible way to avoid the excessive storage demand is to reconstruct the source wavefield backward in time by storing the entire history of the wavefield in perfectly matched layers. In this paper, we make full use of the elementwise global property of the Laplace operator of the spectral element method (SEM) and propose an efficient source wavefield reconstruction method at the cost of storing the wavefield history only at single boundary layer nodes. Numerical experiments indicate that the accuracy of the proposed method is identical to that of the conventional method and is independent of the order of the Lagrange polynomials, the element type, and the temporal discretization method. In contrast, the memory-saving ratios of the conventional method versus our method is at least N when using either quadrilateral or hexahedron elements, respectively, where N is the order of the Lagrange polynomials used in the SEM. A higher memorysaving ratio is achieved with triangular elements versus quadrilaterals. The new method is applied to reverse time migration by considering the Marmousi model as a benchmark. Numerical results demonstrate that the method is able to provide the same result as the conventional method but with about 1/25 times lower storage demand. 9AHR signaling pathway reshapes the metabolism of AML/MDS cells and potentially leads to cytarabine resistance显示文摘Emerging evidence suggests that aryl hydrocarbon receptor(AHR)promotes the initiation,invasion,progression,and metastasis of cancer cells.However,its effects in patients with myelodysplastic syndrome/acute myeloid leukemia(MDS/AML)remain undefined.In this study,we aimed to investigate the effects of AHR activation on malignant cells in patients with MDS/AML.We found that AHR was expressed aberrantly in patients with MDS/AML.Further studies demonstrated that inhibiting AHR decreased the mitochondrial dehydrogenase content and the mitochondrial membrane potential(MMP)in MDS/AML cells.Activating AHR with L-kynurenine(Kyn)increased AHR expression,which was accompanied by an increase in mitochondrial dehydrogenase content and MMP in MDS/AML cells.Moreover,the expression level of mitochondria-associated mitochondrial transcription factor A was increased after activating AHR with L-Kyn when compared with that in the control group but decreased after inhibiting the AHR signal.Activating AHR in MDS/AML cells enhanced the resistance to cytarabine.These findings indicated that activating the AHR signaling pathway reshaped the metabolism in MDS/AML cells,thus contributing to the resistance to cytarabine.Yan Jia Juan Guo Youshan Zhao Zheng Zhang Lei Shi Ying Fang Dong Wu Lingyun Wu Chunkang Chang 2021Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2021,53,4:1

20Ray tracing of turning wave in elliptically anisotropic media with an irregular surface显示文摘Seismic ray tracing in anisotropic media with irregular surface is crucial for the exploration of the fine crustal structure. Elliptically anisotropic medium is the type of anisotropic media with only four independent elastic parameters. Usually, this medium can be described by only the vertical phase velocity and the horizontal phase velocity for seismic wave propagation. Model parameterization in this study is described by flexible triangular grids,which is beneficial for the description of irregular surface with high degree of approximation. Both the vertical and horizontal phase velocities are defined in the triangular grids, respectively, which are used for the description of phase velocity distribution everywhere in the model by linear interpolation. We develop a shooting ray tracing method of turning wave in the elliptically anisotropic media with irregular surface. Runge-Kutta method is applied to solve the partial differential equation of seismic ray in elliptically anisotropic media. Linearly modified method is used for adjusting emergent phase angles in the shooting scheme. Numerical tests demonstrate that ray paths coincide well with analytical trajectories in transversely homogeneous elliptically anisotropic media. Seismic ray tracing results in transversely inhomogeneous elliptically anisotropic media demonstrate that our method is effective for further first-arrival tomography in elliptically anisotropic media with an irregular surface.Minghui Zhang Tao Xu Zhiming Bai Youshan Liu Jue Hou Guiping Yu 2017Earthquake Science2017,30,5:1
