Effect of electroacupuncture on expression of Ang/Tie-2 mRNA and protein in rats with acute cerebral infarction显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To identify the intervention mechanism of the effect of electroacupuncture on the expression of Ang/Tie-2 m RNA and protein in rats with acute cerebral infarction induced by middle cerebral artery occlusion(MCAO).METHODS: Altogether 120 Wistar rats were subjected to MCAO by inserting a nylon filament, andthen divided into 3 groups: control group, injured group and electroacupuncture group. The injured and electroacupuncture groups were further divided into the following 7 subgroups according to the time after MCAO: 3, 6, 12, 24 h, 3, 7 and 12 d, with 8 rats in each subgroup. The electroacupuncture group was given electroacupuncture treatment at Shuigou(GV 26) instantly after operation. The rats were killed at different time points according to their groups, and then the expression levels of Ang/Tie-2 m RNA and protein were detected using Real-Time polymerase chain reaction and immunohistochemical staining.RESULTS: The m RNA and protein expression levels of Ang/Tie-2 in the electroacupuncture group were significant higher than that in the injured group.CONCLUSION: The results suggested that electroacupuncture could significantly regulate the expression of Ang/Tie-2 m RNA and protein in the rats with acute cerebral infarction induced by MCAO, and enhance angiogenesis after ischemic penumbra. | Li Jing Bai Zonglu Du Yuanhao Li Yongfeng Zhang Xuezhu Pang Bo Zhang Jingjing | 2017 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2017,37,5: | 17
Impacts of mixed litter decomposition from Robinia pseudoacacia and other tree species on C loss and nutrient release in the Loess Plateau of China显示文摘The productivity of Robinia pseudoacacia(R.p.) pure forest usually declines at the late growth stage, and reforming it into mixed forests could be a promising way to resolve this problem. When choosing a suitable tree species that can be mixed with R.p., the interspecific relationship is an important issue. Therefore, we gathered the autumn litter fall from R.p. and 10 other species from the Loess Plateau of China were mixed in dual species litterbags(R.p.+each other species) and buried them in soil for a 345 days lab decay incubation. We measured the litter mass loss and nutrient contents to determine whether the nutrient release was affected by mixed species litter decomposition. The impacts of mixed litter decomposition on macro-elements release were more obvious than on micro-elements. The litters with similar substrate quality might show variable impacts on nutrients release in mixed decomposition. The C loss and release of nutrient was improved by descending order when R.p. litter was mixed with Hippophae rhamnoides, Ulmus pumila, Populus simonii, Larix principis-rupprechtii and Quercus liaotungensis(Q.l.). But, except for Q.l., only the other species were recommended as suitable mix-plants for R.p. since promoting a high turnover of the nutrient in the litter compartment and a rapid availability for tree. | Xiaoxi Zhang Zengwen Liu Bochao Zhu Yuanhao Bing Nhu Trung Luc Liangzhen Du Zhenhua Zhu | 2016 | Journal of Forestry Research2016,27,3: | 10

Unidirectional p-GaN gate HEMT with composite source-drain field plates显示文摘Dear editor,Ga N-on-Si high electron mobility transistors(HEMTs)have attracted attention for power device applications due to their low cost and large-area availability[1].Recently,bidirectional switches are highly desirable in many industrial bidirectional power conversion applications, such as rolling mills, elevators, and wind power generation. In addition,normally-off unidirectional HEMTs can be valuable devices to implement the high-performance bidirectional switches[2,3]. | Haiyong WANG Wei MAO Shenglei ZHAO Yuanhao HE Jiabo CHEN Ming DU Xuefeng ZHENG Chong WANG Chunfu ZHANG Jincheng ZHANG Yue HAO | 2022 | Science China(Information Sciences)2022,65,2: | 1
Electrically injected GeSn lasers with peak wavelength up to 2.7 μm显示文摘GeSn lasers enable the monolithic integration of lasers on the Si platform using all-group-Ⅳ direct-bandgap material. The GeSn laser study recently moved from optical pumping into electrical injection. In this work,we present explorative investigations of GeSn heterostructure laser diodes with various layer thicknesses and material compositions.Cap layer material was studied by using Si_(0.03)Ge_(0.89)Sn_(0.08) and Ge_(0.95)Sn_(0.05),and cap layer total thickness was also compared. The 190 nm SiGeSn-cap device had threshold of 0.6 kA/cm^(2) at 10 K and a maximum operating temperature(T_(max)) of 100 K,compared to 1.4 kA/cm^(2) and 50 K from 150 nm SiGeSn-cap device, respectively.Furthermore, the 220 nm GeSn-cap device had 10 K threshold at 2.4 kA/cm^(2) and T_(max) at 90 K,i.e.,higher threshold and lower maximal operation temperature compared to the SiGeSn cap layer, indicating that enhanced electron confinement using SiGeSn can reduce the threshold considerably. The study of the active region material showed that device gain region using Ge_(0.87)Sn_(0.13) had a higher threshold and lower T_(max),compared to Ge_(0.89)Sn_(0.11).The performance was affected by the metal absorption, free carrier absorption, and possibly defect density level. The maximum peak wavelength was measured as 2682 nm at 90 K by using Ge_(0.87)Sn_(0.13) in gain regions. The investigations provide directions to the future GeSn laser diode designs toward the full integration of group-Ⅳ photonics on a Si platform. | YIYIN ZHOU SOLOMON OJO CHEN-WEI WU YUANHAO MIAO HUONG TRAN JOSHUA MGRANT GREY ABERNATHY SYLVESTER AMOAH JAKE BASS GREGORY SALAMO WEI DU GUO-EN CHANG JIFENG LIU JOE MARGETIS JOHN TOLLE YONG-HANG ZHANG GREG SUN RICHARD ASOREF BAOHUA LI SHUI-QING YU | 2022 | Photonics Research2022,10,1: | 0
Multiple SiGe/Si layers epitaxy and SiGe selective etching for vertically stacked DRAM显示文摘Fifteen periods of Si/Si_(0.7)Ge_(0.3)multilayers(MLs)with various Si Ge thicknesses are grown on a 200 mm Si substrate using reduced pressure chemical vapor deposition(RPCVD).Several methods were utilized to characterize and analyze the ML structures. The high resolution transmission electron microscopy(HRTEM)results show that the ML structure with 20 nm Si_(0.7)Ge_(0.3)features the best crystal quality and no defects are observed.Stacked Si_(0.7)Ge_(0.3)ML structures etched by three different methods were carried out and compared, and the results show that they have different selectivities and morphologies. In this work, the fabrication process influences on Si/Si Ge MLs are studied and there are no significant effects on the Si layers, which are the channels in lateral gate all around field effect transistor(L-GAAFET)devices.For vertically-stacked dynamic random access memory(VS-DRAM),it is necessary to consider the dislocation caused by strain accumulation and stress release after the number of stacked layers exceeds the critical thickness. These results pave the way for the manufacture of high-performance multivertical-stacked Si nanowires, nanosheet L-GAAFETs,and DRAM devices. | Zhenzhen Kong Hongxiao Lin Hailing Wang Yanpeng Song Junjie Li Xiaomeng Liu Anyan Du Yuanhao Miao Yiwen Zhang Yuhui Ren Chen Li Jiahan Yu Jinbiao Liu Jingxiong Liu Qinzhu Zhang Jianfeng Gao Huihui Li Xiangsheng Wang Junfeng Li Henry HRadamson Chao Zhao Tianchun Ye Guilei Wang | 2023 | Journal of Semiconductors2023,44,12: | 0
The light and hypoxia induced gene ZmPORB1 determines tocopherol content in the maize kernel显示文摘Tocopherol is an important lipid-soluble antioxidant beneficial for both human health and plant growth. Here, we fine mapped a major QTLqVE1 affecting γ-tocopherol content in maize kernel, positionally cloned and confirmed the underlying gene ZmPORB1(por1), as a protochlorophyllide oxidoreductase. A 13.7 kb insertion reduced the tocopherol and chlorophyll content, and the photosynthetic activity by repressing ZmPORB1 expression in embryos of NIL-K22, but did not affect the levels of the tocopherol precursors HGA(homogentisic acid)and PMP(phytyl monophosphate). Furthermore, ZmPORB1 is inducible by low oxygen and light, thereby involved in the hypoxia response in developing embryos. Concurrent with natural hypoxia in embryos, the redox state has been changed with NO increasing and H_(2)O_(2) decreasing, which lowered γ-tocopherol content via scavenging reactive nitrogen species. In conclusion, we proposed that the lower lightharvesting chlorophyll content weakened embryo photosynthesis, leading to fewer oxygen supplies and consequently diverse hypoxic responses including an elevated γ-tocopherol consumption. Our findings shed light on the mechanism for fine-tuning endogenous oxygen concentration in the maize embryo through a novel feedback pathway involving the light and low oxygen regulation of ZmPORB1 expression and chlorophyll content. | Nannan Liu Yuanhao Du Shijuan Yan Wei Chen Min Deng Shutu Xu Hong Wang Wei Zhan Wenjie Huang Yan Yin Xiaohong Yang Qiao Zhao Alisdair R.Fernie Jianbing Yan | 2024 | Science China(Life Sciences)2024,67,3: | 0
Inferring explicit and implicit social tiessimultaneously in mobile social networks显示文摘Dear editor,Social tie inferring is to determine the type of relations, which is a significant task in social network analysis.Mobile social networks based on records from mobile phones, contain both interaction and spatial data of users, which may help to infer network structure[1],mine routines[2]and recognize social ties[3].In mobile social networks, social ties are categorized into two types:explicit and implicit.Implicit social ties exist in real life but seldom interactions can be observed, and more analysis is shown in Appendix A.Traditionally, social tie recognition researches only focus on inferring explicit ties[4,5].But discovering implicit social ties is also meaningful,as it is a supplement to explicit tie recognition. Its applications include friend suggestion[6],unseen links detection[7]and recommendation systems[8].Many previous researches have proved that multi-task learning can improve the performance when tasks are related. So it is reasonable to infer explicit and implicit social ties simultaneously. The first challenge of inferring explicit and implicit ties is how to reveal community features of different relation types, calculated by explicit and spatial information in mobile social networks. The second challenge is how to unify all features, including traditional and community features and construct a uniform framework. | Guojie SONG Yuanhao LI Junshan WANG Lun DU | 2020 | Science China(Information Sciences)2020,63,4: | 0
