| 1 | Gait analysis of children with spastic hemiplegic cerebral palsy显示文摘An experiment was carried out in the key laboratory for Technique Diagnosis and Function Assessment of Winter Sports of China to investigate the differences in gait characteristics between healthy children and children with spastic hemiplegic cerebral palsy.With permission of their parents,200 healthy children aged 3 to 6 years in the kindergarten of Northeastern University were enrolled in this experiment.Twenty children aged 3 to 6 years with spastic hemiplegic cerebral palsy from Shengjing Hospital,China were also enrolled in this experiment.Standard data were collected by simultaneously recording gait information from two digital cameras.DVracker was used to analyze the standard data.The children with hemiplegic cerebral palsy had a longer gait cycle,slower walking speed,and longer support phase than did the healthy children.The support phase was longer than the swing phase in the children with hemiplegic cerebral palsy.There were significant differences in the angles of the hip,knee,and ankle joint between children with cerebral palsy and healthy children at the moment of touching the ground and buffering,and during pedal extension.Children with hemiplegic cerebral palsy had poor motor coordination during walking,which basically resulted in a short stride,high stride frequency to maintain speed,more obvious swing,and poor stability. | Xin Wang Yuexi Wang | 2012 | Neural Regeneration Research2012,7,20: | 3 |
| 2 | Topological evolution of coexpression networks by new gene integration maintains the hierarchical and modular structures in human ancestors显示文摘We analyze the global structure and evolution of human gene coexpression networks driven by new gene integration. When the Pearson correlation coefficient is greater than or equal to 0.5, we find that the coexpression network consists of 334 small components and one 'giant' connected subnet comprising of 6317 interacting genes. This network shows the properties of power-law degree distribution and small-world. The average clustering coefficient of younger genes is larger than that of the elderly genes(0.6685 vs. 0.5762). Particularly, we find that the younger genes with a larger degree also show a property of hierarchical architecture. The younger genes play an important role in the overall pivotability of the network and this network contains few redundant duplicate genes. Moreover, we find that gene duplication and orphan genes are two dominant evolutionary forces in shaping this network. Both the duplicate genes and orphan genes develop new links through a 'rich-gets-richer'mechanism. With the gradual integration of new genes into the ancestral network, most of the topological structure features of the network would gradually increase. | 3 | A-site defects in LaSrMnO_(3) perovskite-based catalyst promoting NOx storage and reduction for lean-burn exhausts显示文摘Herein,we report the high De-NOx performance of the A-site defective perovskite-based Pd/La_(0.5)Sr_(0.3)MnO_(3) catalyst.The formation of the defective perovskite structure can be proved by both the increased Mn^(4+)/Mn^(3+) ratio and serious lattice contraction due to cationic nonstoichiometry.It promotes the Sr doping into perovskite lattice and reduces the formation of the SrCO_(3) phase.Our results demonstrate that below 300℃ the A-site defective perovskite can be more efficiently regenerated than the SrCO_(3) phase as NOx storage sites due to the latter’s stronger basicity,and also exhibits the higher NO oxidation ability than the A-site stoichiometric and excessive catalysts.Both factors promote the lowtemperature De-NOx activity of the Pd/La_(0.5)Sr_(0.3)MnO_(3) catalyst through improving its NOx trapping efficiency.Nevertheless,above 300℃,the NOx reduction becomes the determinant of the De-NOx activity of the perovskite-based catalysts.A-site defects can weaken the interactions between perovskite and Pd,inducing activation of Pd sites by in-situ transformation from PdO to metallic Pd in the alternative leanburn/fuel-rich atmospheric alternations,which boosts the De-NOx activity of the Pd/La_(0.5)Sr_(0.3)MnO_(3) catalyst.The Pd/L_(0.5)Sr_(0.3)MnO_(3) catalyst exhibits the high sulfur tolerance as well.These findings provide insight into optimizing the structural properties and catalytic activities of the perovskite-based catalysts via tuning formulation,and have potential to be applied for various related catalyst systems. | Dongyue Zhao Yuexi Yang Zhongnan Gao Ye Tian Jing Zhang Zheng Jiang Xingang Li | 2021 | Journal of Rare Earths2021,39,8: | 2 |
| 4 | Soil microbial community assemblage and its seasonal variability in alpine treeline ecotone on the eastern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau显示文摘The alpine treeline ecotone is characterized as the upper limit of the forest in the high-mountain ecosystem.Due to the freeze-thaw cycles,the soil organism community,such as microbial communities are expected to change between seasons.However,there are limited microbialcommunity studies focused on the high altitude alpine ecosystem.We conducted a study in the alpine treeline ecotone on the eastern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau,China,and investigated the seasonal variability of the soil microbial community.We collected all soil samples within the alpine treeline ecotone,between the treeline and timberline in the high-mountain region.The 16S rRNA genes of the microbial communities(bacterial and archaeal)were analyzed by highthroughput sequencing to the genus level.The results showed that soil microbial community in the alpine treeline ecotone was consistently dominated by eight phyla which consisted of 95% of the total microbial community,including Proteobacteria,Actinobacteria,Acidobacteria,Firmicutes,Planctomycetes,Chloroflexi,Bacteroidetes,and Verrucomicrobia.The overall diversity and evenness of the community were relatively stable,with an average of 0.5% difference between seasons.The highest seasonal variability occurred at the upper boundary of the alpine treeline ecotone,and few or almost no seasonal change was observed at lower elevations,indicating dense forest cover and litter deposition might have created a local microclimate that reduced seasonal variation among the surrounding environmental conditions.Our study was one of the first group that documented the microbial community assemblage in the treeline ecotone on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. | Li Kui Hui Sun Qian Lei Wei Gao Lijun Bao Yuexi Chen Zhongjun Jia | 2019 | Soil Ecology Letters2019,1,1: | 2 |
| 5 | Enhanced nitrogen removal and microbial analysis in partially saturated constructed wetland for treating anaerobically digested swine waste water显示文摘Nitrogen removal of wastewater containing high-strength ammonium by the constructed wetlands (CWs) has been paid much attention. In this study, the ability of a partially saturated CW to treat anaerobically-digested decentralized swine wastewater under varying operating parameters from summer to winter was investigated. The partially saturated CW achieved better NH4^+-N and TN removal by tidal flow than intermittent flow. With surface loading rates of 0.108, 0.027, and 0.029 kg/(m^2·d) for COD, NH4^+-N, and TN, the partially saturated CW by tidal operation achieved corresponding removal efficiencies of 85.94%, 61.20%, and 57.41%, respectively, even at 10℃. When the rapid-adsorption of NH4^+-N and the bioregeneration of zeolites reached dynamically stable, the simultaneous nitrification and denitrification in the aerobic zeolite layer was observed and accounted for 58.82% of the total denitrification of CW. The results of Illumina high-throughput sequencing also indicated that nitnfiers (Nitrospira and Rhizomicrobiurri) and denitrifiers (Rhodanobacter and Thauera) simultaneously existed in the zeolite layer. The dominant existence of versatile organic degraders and nitrifiers/denitrifiers in the zeolite layer was related to the removal of most COD and nitrogen in this zone. | 6 | Reduction of wastewater toxicity and change of microbial community in a hydrolysis acidification reactor pre-treating trimethylolpropane wastewater显示文摘Trimethylolpropane (TMP)wastewater is one of the most toxic petrochemical wastewater.Toxicants with high concentrations in TMP wastewater often inhibit the activity of microorganisms associated with biological treatment processes.The hydrolysis acidification process (HAP)is widely used to pretreat petrochemical wastewater.However,the effects of HAP on the reduction of wastewater toxicity and the relevant underlying mechanisms have rarely been reported.In this study,an HAP reactor was operated for 240 days.fed with actual TMP wastewater diluted by tap water in varying ratios.The toxicity of TMP wastewater was assessed with the inhibition ratio of oxygen uptake rate.When the organic loading rates were lower than 7.5kg COD/m^3/d,the toxicity of TMP wastewater was completely elminated.When the actual TMP wastewater was directly fed into the reactor,the toxicity of TMP wastewater decreased from 100%to 34.9%.According to the results of gas chromatography-mass spectrometry analysis,four main toxicants contained in TMP wastewater,namely,formaldehyde, 2-ethylacrolein.TMP and 2-ethylhexanol.were all significantly removed,with removal efficiencies of 93.42%,95.42%,72.85%and 98.94%,respectively.Compared with the removal efficiency of CODcr, the reduction rate of toxicity is markedly higher by HAP.In addition,the change of microbial community in the HAP reactor,along the operation period,was studied.The results revealed that, compared with the seed sludge.Firmicutes became the dominant phylum (abundance increased from 0.51% to 57.08%),followed by Proteobacteria and Bacteroidetes (abundance increased from 59.75% to 25.99%and from 4.70%to 8.39%,respectively). | Xin Xing Yin Yu Hongbo Xi Guangqing Song Yajiao Wang Jiane Zuo Yuexi Zhou | 2018 | Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2018,12,6: | 2 |
