| 2 | Radiomic analysis of pulmonary ground-glass opacity nodules for distinction of preinvasive lesions, invasive pulmonary adenocarcinoma and minimally invasive adenocarcinoma based on quantitative texture analysis of CT显示文摘Objective: To identify the differences among preinvasive lesions, minimally invasive adenocarcinomas(MIAs)and invasive pulmonary adenocarcinomas(IPAs) based on radiomic feature analysis with computed tomography(CT).Methods: A total of 109 patients with ground-glass opacity lesions(GGOs) in the lungs determined by CT examinations were enrolled, all of whom had received a pathologic diagnosis. After the manual delineation and segmentation of the GGOs as regions of interest(ROIs), the patients were subdivided into three groups based on pathologic analyses: the preinvasive lesions(including atypical adenomatous hyperplasia and adenocarcinoma in situ) subgroup, the MIA subgroup and the IPA subgroup. Next, we obtained the texture features of the GGOs. The data analysis was aimed at finding both the differences between each pair of the groups and predictors to distinguish any two pathologic subtypes using logistic regression. Finally, a receiver operating characteristic(ROC) curve was applied to accurately evaluate the performances of the regression models.Results: We found that the voxel count feature(P<0.001) could be used as a predictor for distinguishing IPAs from preinvasive lesions. However, the surface area feature(P=0.040) and the extruded surface area feature(P=0.013) could be predictors of IPAs compared with MIAs. In addition, the correlation feature(P=0.046) could distinguish preinvasive lesions from MIAs better.Conclusions: Preinvasive lesions, MIAs and IPAs can be discriminated based on texture features within CT images, although the three diseases could all appear as GGOs on CT images. | 3 | A green and effective corrosion inhibitor of functionalized carbon dots显示文摘In this work, a green and effective corrosion inhibitor of functionalized carbon dots(FCDs) was synthesized by the conjugation of imidazole and citric acid carbon dots(CA-CDs). The corrosion inhibition behavior of FCDs for Q235 steel in 1 M HCl solution was systematically investigated by electrochemical analysis, corrosion morphology and adsorption isotherm. The electrochemical results implied that the as-prepared FCDs inhibitor could effectively suppress the corrosion of Q235 steel in 1 M HCl solution. At the same time, the inhibition efficiency of steel in 1 M HCl solution was more than 90% when the inhibitor concentration exceeded 100 mg/L. This excellent property was attributed to the coverage of adsorption film on the steel surface, which conformed to the Langmuir adsorption model. | 6 | Integrated bioinformatics identifies the dysregulation induced by aberrant gene methylation in colorectal carcinoma显示文摘Colorectal carcinoma(CRC)is one of the most common cancers,and is associated with a poor dlinical outcome.The key genes and potential prognostic markers in colorectal carcinoma remain to be identfed and explored for clinical application.DNA expression/methyl-ation profles were downloaded from the Gene Expression Omnibus(GEO)database to identify differentially expressed/methylated genes(DEGs and DEMs).A total of 255 genes and 372 genes were identified as being up-regulated and down-regulated,respectively,in GSE113513,GSE81558,and GSE89076.There were a total of 3350 hypermethylated genes and 443 hypomethylated genes identifed in GSE 48684.Twenty genes were found to be hypermethylated as well as down-regulated,and a functional enrichment analysis revealed that these genes were mainly involved in cancer-related pathways.Among these 20 genes,GPM6A,HAND2 and C2orf40 were related to poor outcomes in cancer patients based on a survival analysis.Concurrent decreases of GPM6A,HAND2 and C2orf40 protein expression were observed in highly-dif ferentiated colorectal carcinoma tissues,and higher expression levels were found in undifferentiated or minimally-differentiated colorectal carcinoma tissues.In conclusion,20 genes were found to be downregulated and hypermethylated in CRC,among which GPM6A,HAND2 and C2orf40 were explored for their potential prognostic value. | Zhenyu Ye Yecheng Li Jiaming Xie Zhenyu Feng Xiaodong Yang Yong Wu Yuwei Pu Jiawei Gao Xiangrong Xu Zhaobi Zhu Wei Li Wei Chen Chungen Xing | 2021 | Genes & Diseases2021,8,4: | 2 |

| 13 | LIMK2 is required for membrane cytoskeleton reorganization of contracting airway smooth muscle显示文摘Airway smooth muscle(ASM)has developed a mechanical adaption mechanism by which it transduces force and responds to environmental forces,which is essential for periodic breathing.Cytoskeletal reorganization has been implicated in this process,but the regulatory mechanism remains to be determined.We here observe that ASM abundantly expresses cytoskeleton regulators Limk1 and Limk2,and their expression levels are further upregulated in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)animals.By establishing mouse lines with deletions of Limk1 or Limk2,we analyse the length-sensitive contraction,F/Gactin dynamics,and F-actin pool of mutant ASM cells.As LIMK1 phosphorylation does not respond to the contractile stimulation,LIMK1-deficient ASM develops normal maximal force,while LIMK2 or LIMK1/LIMK2 deficient ASMs show approximately 30%inhibition.LIMK2 deletion causes a significant decrease in cofilin phosphorylation along with a reduced F/G-actin ratio.As LIMK2 functions independently of cross-bridge movement,this observation indicates that LIMK2 is necessary for F-actin dynamics and hence force transduction.Moreover,LIMK2-deficient ASMs display abolishes stretching-induced suppression of 5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT)but not acetylcholine-evoks force,which is due to the differential contraction mechanisms adopted by the agonists.We propose that LIMK2-mediated cofilin phosphorylation is required for membrane cytoskeleton reorganization that is necessary for ASM mechanical adaption including the 5-HT-evoked length-sensitive effect. | Yeqiong Li Yuwei Zhou Pei Wang Tao Tao Lisha Wei Ye Wang Wei Wang Yanyan Zheng Zhihui Jiang Tiantian Qiu Wei Zhao Jie Sun Xin Chen Xue-Na Zhang Min-Sheng Zhu | 2021 | Journal of Genetics and Genomics2021,48,6: | 0 |

| 16 | Non-woven cotton fabric based intimately coupling of photocatalysis and biodegradation system for efficient removal of Cu(Ⅱ)complex in water显示文摘The efficient remediation of heavy metal complexes in water has become a difficult and challenging task owing to their high stability and strong mobility.In this study,a novel strategy was employed for highly efficient removal of Cu-citrate by using intimately coupled photocatalysis and biodegradation(ICPB)system with non-woven cotton fabric as a carrier.Experimental results showed that the ICPB system caused94%Cu removal,which was higher than those of single photocatalysis.After 5 cycles,Cu removal efficiency could still reach 78%within 5 h.The existence of 0–40 mg/L citrate had negligible influence,whereas the presence of 60–100 mg/L citrate exhibited a limited adverse effect on Cu removal(~70%).The decomplexation of Cu-citrate was realized via the function of free radicals and microorganisms.Two main processes,such as bio-adsorption of Cu^(2+) by microorganisms,deposition of Cu^(0) on the surface of material,played important role in Cu removal from aqueous solution.The dominant microorganisms in the system were Proteobacteria,Actinobacteria,Bacteroidetes,Chloroflexi,Chlorophyta,Planctomycetes,and Verrucomicrobia.Furthermore,the performance of ICPB system was also validated through treatment of other heavy metal complexes.This study provided a feasible strategy for the decontamination of heavy metal complexes in wastewater. | Yuxuan Ye Peng Yang Yuwei Deng Yezhi Yang Kun Zhang Yueying Wang Wenjing Shang Qiang Li Lei Sun Fei Pan Dongsheng Xia | 2022 | Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,6: | 0 |
| 17 | Photo-induced Ag modulating carbon dots:Greatly improved fluorescent properties and derived sensing application显示文摘Carbon dots(CDs)have been attracted much attention and widely studied due to their excellent fluorescence(FL)properties,better biocompatibility and outstanding photo/chemical stability.However,the disadvantage of lower quantum yield(QY)still limits its wide application.Herein,we reported a novel and convenient strategy to prepare photo-induced Ag/CDs(p-Ag/CDs)by irradiating the mixed Ag+and hydrophobic CDs(h-CDs)acetone solution with ultraviolet(UV)light.The obtained p-Ag/CDs exhibit a greatly enhanced FL emission together with a blue shift(460 nm)than h-CDs(520 nm).The QY of p-Ag/CDs is measured to be 51.1%,which is 10.4 times higher than that of h-CDs(4.9%),indicating that photo-induced Ag modulation can effectively improve the optical properties of CDs.The mechanisms for the FL enhancement and blue shift of h-CDs are studied in detail.The results prove that the greatly enhanced FL emission is from the generated Ag nanoparticles(AgNPs)by UV light irradiation based on metal-enhanced fluorescence(MEF),and the increased oxygen-contained groups in this process lead to the blue shift in CDs fluorescence.Interestingly,the p-Ag/CDs exhibit higher sensitivity and selectivity for sulfide ions(S2-)detection than that of h-CDs,which have a lower response to S2-.This work not only offers a novel strategy to improve the FL properties of materials but also endows them with new functions and broadens their application fields. | Yuwei Wang Ye Li Guixiang Yang Xiaofeng Yang Chenglu Yan Huaqiao Peng Huiyong Wang Juan Du Baozhan Zheng Yong Guo | 2024 | Chinese Chemical Letters2024,35,1: | 0 |
