1Spatial patterns and driving forces of land use change in China during the early 21st century显示文摘Land use and land cover change as the core of coupled human-environment systems has become a potential field of land change science (LCS) in the study of global environmental change. Based on remotely sensed data of land use change with a spatial resolution of 1 km × 1 km on national scale among every 5 years, this paper designed a new dynamic regionalization according to the comprehensive characteristics of land use change including regional differentiation, physical, economic, and macro-policy factors as well. Spatial pattern of land use change and its driving forces were investigated in China in the early 21st century. To sum up, land use change pattern of this period was characterized by rapid changes in the whole country. Over the agricultural zones, e.g., Huang-Huai-Hai Plain, the southeast coastal areas and Sichuan Basin, a great proportion of fine arable land were engrossed owing to considerable expansion of the built-up and residential areas, resulting in decrease of paddy land area in southern China. The development of oasis agriculture in Northwest China and the reclamation in Northeast China led to a slight increase in arable land area in northern China. Due to the 'Grain for Green' policy, forest area was significantly increased in the middle and western developing regions, where the vegetation coverage was substantially enlarged, likewise. 4Cropland redistribution to marginal lands undermines environmental sustainability显示文摘Cropland redistribution to marginal land has been reported worldwide;however,the resulting impacts on environmental sustainability have not been investigated sufficiently.Here we investigated the environmental impacts of cropland redistribution in China.As a result of urbanization-induced loss of high-quality croplands in south China(~8.5 t ha^(-1)),croplands expanded to marginal lands in northeast(~4.5 t ha^(-1)) and northwest China(~2.9 t ha^(-1)) during 1990-2015 to pursue food security.However,the reclamation in these low-yield and ecologically vulnerable zones considerably undermined local environmental sustainability,for example increasing wind erosion(+3.47%),irrigation water consumption(+34.42%),fertilizer use(+20.02%) and decreasing natural habitats(-3.11%).Forecasts show that further reclamation in marginal lands per current policies would exacerbate environmental costs by 2050.The future cropland security risk will be remarkably intensified because of the conflict between food production and environmental sustainability.Our research suggests that globally emerging reclamation of marginal lands should be restricted and crop yield boost should be encouraged for both food security and environmental benefits.Wenhui Kuang Jiyuan Liu Hanqin Tian Hao Shi Jinwei Dong Changqing Song Xiaoyong Li Guoming Du Yali Hou Dengsheng Lu Wenfeng Chi Tao Pan Shuwen Zhang Rafiq Hamdi Zherui Yin Huimin Yan Changzhen Yan Shixin Wu Rendong Li Jiuchun Yang Yinyin Dou Wenbin Wu Liqiao Liang Bao Xiang Shiqi Yang 2022National Science Review2022,9,1:13

7Adsorption and desorption characteristics of diphenylarsenicals in two contrasting soils显示文摘Diphenylarsinic acid(DPAA) is formed during the leakage of aromatic arsenic chemical weapons in soils,is persistent in nature,and results in arsenic contamination in the field.The adsorption and desorption characteristics of DPAA were investigated in two typical Chinese soils,an Acrisol(a variable-charge soil) and a Phaeozem(a constant-charge soil).Their thermodynamics and some of the factors influencing them(i.e.,initial pH value,ionic strength and phosphate) were also evaluated using the batch method in order to understand the environmental fate of DPAA in soils.The results indicate that Acrisol had a stronger adsorption capacity for DPAA than Phaeozem.Soil DPAA adsorption was a spontaneous and endothermic process and the amount of DPAA adsorbed was affected significantly by variation in soil pH and phosphate.In contrast,soil organic matter and ionic strength had no significant effect on adsorption.This suggests that DPAA adsorption may be due to specific adsorption on soil mineral surfaces.Therefore,monitoring the fate of DPAA in soils is recommended in areas contaminated by leakage from chemical weapons.Anan Wang Shixin Li Ying Teng Wuxin Liu Longhua Wu Haibo Zhang Yujuan Huang Yongming Luo Peter Christie 2013Journal of Environmental Sciences2013,25,6:8

9Theoretical study of the N—H···O red-shifted andblue-shifted hydrogen bonds显示文摘Theoretical calculations are performed to study the nature of the hydrogen bonds in complexes HCHO···HNO, HCOOH···HNO, HCHO···NH3, HCOOH···NH3, HCHO···NH2F and HCOOH···NH2F. The geomet- ric structures and vibrational frequencies of these six complexes at the MP2/6-31+G(d,p), MP2/6-311++G(d,p), B3LYP/6-31+G(d,p) and B3LYP/6-311++G(d,p) levels are calculated by standard and counterpoise-corrected methods, respectively. The results indicate that in complexes HCHO···HNO and HCOOH···HNO the N—H bond is strongly contracted and N—H···O blue-shifted hydrogen bonds are observed. While in complexes HCHO···NH3, HCOOH···NH3, HCHO···NH2F and HCOOH···NH2F, the N—H bond is elongated and N—H···O red-shifted hydrogen bonds are found. From the natural bond orbital analysis it can be seen that the X—H bond length in the X—H···Y hydrogen bond is controlled by a balance of four main factors in the opposite directions: hyperconjugation, electron density redistribu- tion, rehybridization and structural reorganization. Among them hyperconjugation has the effect of elongating the X—H bond, and the other three factors belong to the bond shortening effects. In complexes HCHO···HNO and HCOOH···HNO, the shortening effects dominate which lead to the blue shift of the N—H stretching frequencies. 10Geochemical Characteristics and Origin of Natural Gases in the Qaidam Basin,China显示文摘Sixty-five natural gas samples were collected from 19 oil-gasfields in the Qaidam basin, China. The chemical composition and carbon isotope values of the samples were measured, and the geochemical characteristics and origin of the natural gases were studied. The gases can be divided into biogenic gases, sapropelic oil-type gases, mixed type oil-type gases, coal-type gases and mixed gas. The δ13C1 values of the biogenic gases are very small and the C2+ contents of them are very low, ranging from -68.2‰ to -61.8‰ and 0.06% to 0.20% respectively. They have heavy δD and δ13CCO2, showing a CO2 reduction pathway. They are distributed in the East depression region and derived from the Quaternary source rocks. The sapropelic oil-type gases have small δ13C2 values and high C2+ ranging from -36.6‰ to -28.6‰ and from 33.01% to 47.15% respectively. The mixed type oil-type gases have δ13C2 values and C2+ contents varying from -28.6‰ to -24.8‰ and from 4.81% to 26.06% respectively. Both sapropelic oil-type gases and mixed type oil-type gases are associated with oil-type oils, distributed in the West depression region and derived from the Tertiary saltwater lacustrine sapropelic source rocks and humic source rocks respectively. The δ13C2 values of the coal-type gases are extremely high and the C2+ contents are very low, changing from -23.3‰ to -12.5‰ and from 0.06% to 18.07% respectively. The coal-type gases in the Nanbaxian gasfield and the Lenghu oil-gasfields in the North fault block belt are derived from the Middle Jurassic coal-measures source rocks, whereas those in the West depression region are derived from the Tertiary saltwater lacustrine humic source rocks. Compared with some other basins in China, the natural gases there have obviously heavier δ13C due to the heavier δ13C of different types of kerogens of the Tertiary saltwater lacustrine source rocks in the West depression region of the basin. The mixing of natural gases is common in the West depression region, but the mixed gases are formed by sapropelic oil-type gases, mixed type oil-type gases or coal-type gases, respectively, of different levels of maturity. 11The secondary laticifer differentiation in rubber tree is induced by trichostatin A, an inhibitor of histone acetylation显示文摘The secondary laticifer, a specific tissue in the secondary phloem of rubber tree, is differentiated from the vascular cambia. The number of the secondary laticifer in the trunk bark of rubber tree is positively correlated with rubber yield. Although jasmonates have been demonstrated to be crucial in the regulation of secondary laticifer differentiation, the mechanism for the jasmonate-induced secondary laticifer differentiation remains to be elucidated.By using an experimental morphological technique, the present study revealed that trichostatin A(TSA), an inhibitor of histone deacetylation, could induce the secondary laticifer differentiation in a concentrationdependent manner. 13Dynamic impact experiment and response characteristics analysis for 1:2 reduced-scale model of hydraulic support显示文摘It is significant to research the impact resistance properties of hydraulic support due to its key support role in the fully mechanized mining face.However,it is difficult for the entire hydraulic support to implement the impact experiment underground and analyze the response characteristic.Therefore,a dynamic impact experiment for the entire hydraulic support was proposed in this paper,where a 1:2 reducedscale model of hydraulic support was designed and its response characteristics under dynamic impact load were analyzed.Firstly,a comprehensive monitoring scheme was proposed to achieve an effective monitoring for dynamic response of hydraulic support.Secondly,a multi-scale impact experiment was carried out for the entire hydraulic support and dynamic behaviors of hydraulic support under the multi-scale impact load were revealed by experimental data.Then a dynamic impact experiment of the entire hydraulic support was simulated in ADAMS with the same experiment conditions,and the experimental and simulation data were verified mutually.Finally,the characteristics of energy conversion and dissipation of the entire experiment system after impact were analyzed.The experiment results showed that the impact resistance properties of hydraulic support largely depended on the initial support conditions and different vertical rigidities affected energy distribution proportion of the entire support system.Huaiwei Ren Desheng Zhang Shixin Gong Kai Zhou Chenyang Xi Ming He Tijian Li 2021International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2021,31,3:5
14Transcriptome exploration to provide a resource for the study of Auricularia heimuer显示文摘Auricularia heimuer,an edible jelly fungus,is in considerable demand in Asia due to its high nutritive,economic and medicinal values.RNA-Seq was used to investigate and analyze the mycelium transcriptome of A.heimuer for gene discovery.A total of 26,857 unigenes with an N50 length of 1333 bp were assembled by de novo sequencing.In addition,unigenes were annotated by publicly available databases,including gene descriptions,gene ontology(GO),clusters of orthologous group(COG),Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG)metabolic pathways,and protein family(Pfam)terms.A.heimuer was also studied for its wood degradation ability.Thirty-eight putative FOLymes(fungal oxidative lignin enzymes)and 251 CAZymes(carbohydrate-active enzymes)were located from A.heimuer transcriptome.Our study provides a comprehensive sequence resource for A.heimuer at the transcriptional level,which will lay a strong foundation for functional genomics studies and gene discovery of this promising fungus.Jian Zhang Tingting Sun Shixin Wang Li Zou 2020Journal of Forestry Research2020,31,5:2
15Research and practice of intelligent coal mine technology systems in China显示文摘This study considered the role of coal as China’s basic energy source and examines the development of the coal industry.We focused on the intelligent development of coal mines,and introduced the“Chinese mode”of intelligent mining in underground coal mines,which uses complete sets of technical equipment to propose classifcation and grading standards.In view of the basic characteristics and technical requirements of intelligent coal mine systems,we established a digital logic model and propose an information entity and knowledge map construction method.This involves an active information push strategy based on a knowledge demand model and an intelligent portfolio modeling and distribution method for collaborative control of coal mines.The top-level architecture of 5G+intelligent coal mine systems combines intelligent applications such as autonomous intelligent mining,human–machine collaborative rapid tunneling,unmanned auxiliary transportation,closed-loop safety control,lean collaborative operation,and intelligent ecology.Progress in intelligent mining technology was described in terms of a dynamic modifed geological model,underground 5G network and positioning technology,intelligent control of the mining height and straightness of the longwall working face,and intelligent mining equipment.The development of intelligent coal mines was analyzed in terms of its imbalances,bottlenecks,and the compatibility of large-scale systems.Implementation ideas for promoting the development of intelligent coal mines were proposed,such as establishing construction standards and technical specifcations,implementing classifcation and grading standards according to mining policy,accelerating key technology research,and building a new management and control model.Guofa Wang Huaiwei Ren Guorui Zhao Desheng Zhang Zhiguo Wen Lingyu Meng Shixin Gong 2022International Journal of Coal Science & Technology2022,9,2:2
