| 1 | Lushan M_S7.0 earthquake:A blind reserve-fault event显示文摘In the epicenter of the Lushan MS7.0 earthquake there are several imbricate active reverse faults lying from northwest to southeast,namely the Gengda-Longdong,Yanjing-Wulong,Shuangshi-Dachuan and Dayi faults.Emergency field investigations have indicated that no apparent earthquake surface rupture zones were located along these active faults or their adjacent areas.Only brittle compressive ruptures in the cement-covered pavements can be seen in Shuangshi,Taiping,Longxing and Longmen Townships,and these ruptures show that a local crustal shortening occurred in the region during the earthquake.Combining spatial distribution of the relocated aftershocks and focal mechanism solutions,it is inferred that the Lushan earthquake is classified as a typical blind reverse-fault earthquake,and it is advised that the relevant departments should pay great attention to other historically un-ruptured segments along the Longmenshan thrust belt and throughout its adjacent areas. | XU XiWei WEN XueZe HAN ZhuJun CHEN GuiHua LI ChuanYou ZHENG WenJun ZHNAG ShiMin REN ZhiQun XU Chong TAN XiBin WEI ZhanYu WANG MingMing REN JunJie HE ZhongTai LIANG MingJian | 2013 | Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,28: | 35 |
| 2 | AXL is a candidate receptor for SARS-CoV-2 that promotes infection of pulmonary and bronchial epithelial cells显示文摘The current coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic presents a global public health challenge.The viral pathogen responsible,severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2),binds to the host receptor ACE2 through its spike(S)glycoprotein,which mediates membrane fusion and viral entry.Although the role of ACE2 as a receptor for SARS-CoV-2 is clear,studies have shown that ACE2 expression is extremely low in various human tissues,especially in the respiratory tract.Thus,other host receptors and/or co-receptors that promote the entry of SARS-CoV-2 into cells of the respiratory system may exist.In this study,we found that the tyrosine-protein kinase receptor UFO(AXL)specifically interacts with the N-terminal domain of SARS-CoV-2 S.Using both a SARS-CoV-2 virus pseudotype and authentic SARS-CoV-2,we found that overexpression of AXL in HEK293T cells promotes SARS-CoV-2 entry as efficiently as overexpression of ACE2,while knocking out AXL significantly reduces SARS-CoV-2 infection in HI 299 pulmonary cells and in human primary lung epithelial cells.Soluble human recombinant AXL blocks SARS-CoV-2 infection in cells expressing high levels of AXL.The AXL expression level is well correlated with SARS-CoV-2 S level in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid cells from COVID-19 patients.Taken together,our findings suggest that AXL is a novel candidate receptor for SARS-CoV-2 which may play an important role in promoting viral infection of the human respiratory system and indicate that it is a potential target for future clinical intervention strategies. | Shuai Wang Zongyang Qiu Yingnan Hou Xiya Deng Wei Xu Tingting Zheng Peihan Wu Shaofang Xie Weixiang Bian Chong Zhang Zewei Sun Kunpeng Liu Chao Shan Aifu Lin Shibo Jiang Youhua Xie Qiang Zhou Lu Lu Jing Huang Xu Li | 2021 | Cell Research2021,31,2: | 39 |

| 4 | Panaxdiol Saponins Component Promotes Hematopoiesis and Modulates T Lymphocyte Dysregulation in Aplastic Anemia Model Mice显示文摘Objective: To investigate the potential efficacy of panaxadiol saponins component(PDS-C) in the treatment of aplastic anemia(AA) model mice. Methods: Totally 70 mice were divided into 7 groups as follows: normal, model, low-, medium-, high-dose PDS-C(20, 40, 80 mg/kg, namely L-, M-, H-PDS-C), cyclosporine(40 mg/kg), and andriol(25 mg/kg) groups, respectively. An immune-mediated AA mouse model was established in BALB/c mice by exposing to 5.0 Gy total body irradiation at 1.0 Gy/min, and injecting with lymphocytes from DBA mice. On day 4 after establishment of AA model, all drugs were intragastrically administered daily for 15 days, respectively, while the mice in the normal and model groups were administered with saline solution. After treatment, the peripheral blood counts, bone marrow pathological examination, colony forming assay of bone marrow culture, T lymphocyte subpopulation analysis, as well as T-bet, GATA-3 and Fox P3 proteins were detected by flow cytometry and Western blot. Results: The peripheral blood of white blood cell(WBC), platelet, neutrophil counts and hemoglobin(Hb) concentration were significantly decreased in the model group compared with the normal group(all P<0.01). In response to 3 dose PDS-C treatment, the WBC, platelet, neutrophil counts were significantly increased at a dose-dependent manner compared with the model group(all P<0.01). The myelosuppression status of AA was significantly reduced in M-, H-PDS-C groups, and hematopoietic cell quantity of bone marrow was more abundant than the model group. The colony numbers of myeloid, erythroid and megakaryocytic progenitor cells in the model group were less than those of the normal mice in bone marrow culture, while, PDS-C therapy enhanced proliferation of hematopoietic progenitor cells by significantly increasing colony numbers(all P<0.01). Furthermore,PDS-C therapy increased peripheral blood CD3^+ and CD3^+CD4^+ cells and reduced CD3^+CD8^+ cells(P<0.05 or P<0.01). Meanwhile, PDS-C treatment at medium-and high doses groups also increased CD4^+CD25^+Fox P3^+ cells, downregulated T-bet protein expression, and upregulated GATA-3 and Fox P3 protein expressions in spleen cells(P<0.05). | 6 | Prediction of 10-year Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease Risk among Adults Aged 40-79 Years in China:a Nationally Representative Survey显示文摘Objective To establish the distribution of 10-year atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease(ASCVD) risk among Chinese adults.Methods We estimated the 10-year ASCVD risk by applying the 2013 American College of Cardiology/American Heart Association pooled cohort equations(PCEs) to the data obtained from the 2010 China Chronic Disease and Risk Factor Surveillance that involved 61,541 participants(representing 520,158,652 Chinese adults) aged 40-79 years.We also compared the ASCVD risk with the 10-year ischemic cardiovascular disease(ICVD) risk,which was calculated using the simplified scoring tables recommended by the Chinese Guidelines for Prevention of Cardiovascular Diseases(Chinese model).Results Based on the PCEs,the average 10-year ASCVD risk among adults without self-reported stroke or myocardial infraction was 12.5%.Approximately 247 million(47.4%) and 107 million(20.6%) adults had ≥ 7.5% and > 20% 10-year ASCVD risks,respectively.The 10-year ASCVD risk > 20% was higher among men,less educated individuals,smokers,drinkers,and physically inactive individuals than among their counterparts.Overall,29.0% of adults categorized using the Chinese model were overclassified with the PCEs.Conclusion Our results define the distribution of 10-year ASCVD risk among Chinese adults.The 10-year ASCVD risk predicted by the PCEs was higher than the ICVD risk predicted by the Chinese model. | ZHANG Mei JIANG Yong WANG Li Min LI Yi Chong HUANG Zheng Jing LI Jian Hong ZHOU Mai Geng ZHAO Wen Hua 无 | 2017 | Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2017,30,4: | 7 |

| 8 | Evaluation of mental fatigue based on multipsychophysiological parameters and kernel learning algorithms显示文摘Mental fatigue is an extremely sophisticated phenomenon, which is influenced by the environment, the state of health, vitality and the capability of recovery. A single parameter cannot fully describe it. In this paper, the effects of long time sustained low-workload visual display terminal (VDT) task on psychology are investigated by subjective self-reporting measures. Then power spectral indices of HRV, the P300 components based on visual oddball and wavelet packet parameters of EEG are combined to analyze the impacts of prolonged visual display terminal (VDT) activity on autonomic nervous system and cen-tral nervous system. Finally, wavelet packet parameters of EEG are extracted as the features of brain activity in different mental fatigue states. Kernel principal component analysis (KPCA) and support vector machine (SVM) are jointly applied to differentiate two states. The statistic results show that the level of both subjective sleepiness and fatigue increase significantly from pre-task to post-task, which indicate that the long time VDT task induces the mental fatigue to the subjects. The predominant activ-ity of autonomic nervous system of subjects turns to the sympathetic activity from parasympathetic activity after the task. The P300 components and wavelet packet parameters of EEG are strongly related with mental fatigue. Moreover, the joint KPCA-SVM method is able to effectively reduce the dimension-ality of the feature vectors, speed up the convergence in the training of SVM and achieve a high rec-ognition accuracy (87%) of mental fatigue state. | 12 | A transcription factor STOP1-centered pathway coordinates ammonium and phosphate acquisition in Arabidopsis显示文摘Phosphorus(P)is an indispensable macronutrient required for plant growth and development.Natural phosphate(Pi)reserves are finite,and a better understanding of Pi utilization by crops is therefore vital for worldwide food security.Ammonium has long been known to enhance Pi acquisition efficiency in agriculture;however,the molecular mechanisms coordinating Pi nutrition and ammonium remains unclear.Here,we reveal that ammonium is a novel initiator that stimulates the accumulation of a key regulatory protein,STOP1,in the nuclei of Arabidopsis root cells under Pi deficiency.We show that Pi deficiency promotes ammonium uptake mediated by AMT1 transporters and causes rapid acidification of the root surface.Rhizosphere acidification-triggered STOP1 accumulation activates the excretion of organic acids,which help to solubilize Pi from insoluble iron or calcium phosphates.Ammonium uptake by AMT1 transporters is downregulated by a CIPK23 protein kinase whose expression is directly modulated by STOP1 when ammonium reaches toxic levels.Taken together,we have identified a STOP1-centered regulatory network that links external ammonium with efficient Pi acquisition from insoluble phosphate sources.These findings provide a framework for developing possible strategies to improve crop production by enhancing the utilization of non-bioavailable nutrients in soil. | Wen Hao Tian Jia Yuan Ye Meng Qi Cui Jun Bo Chang Yu Liu GuiXin Li Yun Rong Wu Ji Ming Xu Nicholas P.Harberd Chuan Zao Mao Chong Wei Jin Zhong Jie Ding Shao Jian Zheng | 2021 | Molecular Plant2021,14,9: | 5 |

It reduces the efficiency of process execution. So the method by quantitative manner for the shape-shifting robot in different configurations is proposed. Comparing to traditional evaluation method, the most important aspects which can influence the steering abilities of the robot in different configurations are researched in detail, including the energy, angular velocity, time and space. In order to improve the robustness of system, the ideal and slippage conditions are all considered by mathematical model. Comparing to the traditional weighting confirming method, the extent of robot steering method is proposed by the combination of subjective and objective weighting method. The subjective weighting method can show more preferences of the experts and is based on five-grade scale. The objective weighting method is based on information entropy to determine the factors. By the sensors fixed on the robot, the contract force between track grouser and ground, the intrinsic motion characteristics of robot are obtained and the experiment is done to prove the algorithm which is proposed as the robot in different common configurations. | 18 | Vegetable and Fruit Consumption among Chinese Adults and Associated Factors: A Nationally Representative Study of 170,847 Adults显示文摘Objective This study examined vegetable and fruit(VF) consumption rate and its associated factors among Chinese adults.Methods Nationally representative data from the 2013 China Chronic Disease Surveillance survey were used. Dietary intake data, including VF consumption during the last 12 months, were collected. All analyses were weighted to obtain nationally representative estimates. Associations between VF consumption and other factors(e.g., meal frequency and physical activity) were examined through logistic regression analysis.Results The average fruit consumption was 102.3 g/day(95% CI: 97.0‐107.6) and the average vegetable consumption was 350.6 g/day(95% CI: 339.3‐361.8). Over half(53.2%, 95% CI: 50.9‐55.4) of Chinese adults met the VF consumption of 400 g/day recommended by the World Health Organization(WHO). Rural residents had a higher prevalence of low VF consumption rate than urban residents[49.20%(95% CI: 46.2%‐52.2%) vs. 44.0%(95% CI: 41.7%‐46.3%) P < 0.01]. Old age(OR = 1.01, 95% CI:1.00‐1.01), low educational level, low income, minority ethnicity(OR = 1.41, 95% CI: 1.15‐1.74),underweight(OR = 1.17, 95% CI: 1.03‐1.33), single marital status(OR = 1.20, 95% CI: 1.08‐1.33), low health literacy, irregular breakfast(OR = 1.20, 95% CI: 1.04‐1.38) or lunch(OR = 1.58, 95% CI: 1.26‐1.99)habits, and no leisure‐time physical activity were associated with low VF consumption.Conclusion Only half of Chinese adults met the VF consumption recommended by the WHO. Low socio‐economic status, irregular diet, and poor health literacy were likely associated with low VF consumption. | 19 | Characteristics of Changes in Karst Rocky Desertification in Southtern and Western China and Driving Mechanisms显示文摘The karst landform is a typical ecologically vulnerable region,and the problem of karst rocky desertification in southtern and western China has led to impoverishment and a degraded local ecological environment,which severely limits local socioeconomic development.An effective and appropriate control of karst rocky desertification in southtern and western China requires knowledge about its characteristics of variation and driving mechanisms.In this study,we chose eight regions in the southtern and western China as research areas and analysed the characteristics of the changes in karst ecosystem patterns and rocky desertification from 2000 to 2015.Based on these characteristics,we present the mechanisms that drive karst rocky desertification in the southtern and western China by utilizing the redundancy analysis(RDA)ordination method.The results show that the total area of rocky desertification in southtern and western China had been continuously decreasing from 2000 to 2015,revealing a positive development trend in rocky desertification.Rocky desertification variations were mainly affected by human activities.The reduction in farmland area improved farmland management and increased regional gross industrial product,which together with continuously rising gross domestic product of the tertiary industry caused a positive rocky desertification development.However,the local karst tourism has a certain effect on inducing slight rocky desertification. | CHONG Guoshuang HAI Yue ZHENG Hua XU Weihua OUYANG Zhiyun | 2021 | Chinese Geographical Science2021,31,6: | 3 |

Their structures were established as (20S)3b,14a,16b-trihydroxy pregn-5-ene-22-carboxylic acid (22,16)-lactone 3-O-a- L-rhamnopyranosyl (1→2)[ a-L-rhamnopyranosyl (1→4)]-b-D-glucopyranoside and (20S)3b, 14a, 16b-trihydroxy pregn-5-ene-22-carboxylic acid (22,16)-lactone 3-O-a-L-rhamnopyranosyl (1→2) [b-D-glucopyranosyl(1→3)]-b-D-glucopyranoside by means of 2D NMR spectral and chemical methods.
