| 2 | Human Cyber Physical Systems(HCPSs)in the Context of New-Generation Intelligent Manufacturing显示文摘An intelligent manufacturing system is a composite intelligent system comprising humans,cyber systems,and physical systems with the aim of achieving specific manufacturing goals at an optimized level.This kind of intelligent system is called a human-cyber-physical system(HCPS).In terms of technology,HCPSs can both reveal technological principles and form the technological architecture for intelligent manufacturing.It can be concluded that the essence of intelligent manufacturing is to design,construct,and apply HCPSs in various cases and at different levels.With advances in information technology,intelligent manufacturing has passed through the stages of digital manufacturing and digital-networked manufacturing,and is evolving toward new-generation intelligent manufacturing(NGIM).NGIM is characterized by the in-depth integration of new-generation artificial intelligence(AI)technology(i.e.,enabling technology)with advanced manufacturing technology(i.e.,root technology);it is the core driving force of the new industrial revolution.In this study,the evolutionary footprint of intelligent manufacturing is reviewed from the perspective of HCPSs,and the implications,characteristics,technical frame,and key technologies of HCPSs for NGIM are then discussed in depth.Finally,an outlook of the major challenges of HCPSs for NGIM is proposed. | Zhou Ji Zhou Yanhong Wang Baicun Zang Jiyuan | 2019 | Engineering2019,5,4: | 98 |

| 4 | Application of next-generation sequencing technology to precision medicine in cancer: joint consensus of the Tumor Biomarker Committee of the Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology显示文摘Next-generation sequencing(NGS) technology is capable of sequencing millions or billions of DNA molecules simultaneously.Therefore, it represents a promising tool for the analysis of molecular targets for the initial diagnosis of disease, monitoring of disease progression, and identifying the mechanism of drug resistance. On behalf of the Tumor Biomarker Committee of the Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology(CSCO) and the China Actionable Genome Consortium(CAGC), the present expert group hereby proposes advisory guidelines on clinical applications of NGS technology for the analysis of cancer driver genes for precision cancer therapy. This group comprises an assembly of laboratory cancer geneticists, clinical oncologists, bioinformaticians,pathologists, and other professionals. After multiple rounds of discussions and revisions, the expert group has reached a preliminary consensus on the need of NGS in clinical diagnosis, its regulation, and compliance standards in clinical sample collection. | 8 | Patterns of plant diversity at high altitudes on the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau显示文摘To describe the biodiversity patterns of plants along an altitudinal gradient on the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau and to clarify the bias in plant specimen records at high altitude.Methods We conducted a large-scale investigation of vegetation at a wide range of altitudes,focusing on a high-altitudinal range(3200-5200 m)at different locations on the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau.We then compared the altitudinal distribution of plant species obtained from our field investigation with that in plant specimen records from published sources and an online database.Important Findings Our data provide evidence that altitude plays a large role in regulating species composition on the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau.We could not,however,detect a clear relationship between altitude and species richness,although a weak monotonically increasing trend of richness was detected with increasing altitude.According to specimen records,most species have been sampled at a wide range of altitudes,and the average range of 145 species is>2000 m.Despite this wide range,more than half of the species we observed were at higher altitudes than the specimen records indicate.High-altitude areas have probably been so poorly sampled that only a small fraction of the resident species has been recorded.This study clearly shows the regional bias of specimen records in the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau. | Ayako Shimono Huakun Zhou Haihua Shen Mitsuru Hirota Toshiyuki Ohtsuka Yanhong Tang | 2010 | Journal of Plant Ecology2010,3,1: | 6 |
| 9 | Soil phosphorus bioavailability assessed by XANES and Hedley sequential fractionation technique in a glacier foreland chronosequence in Gongga Mountain, Southwestern China显示文摘The primary productivity of terrestrial ecosystems is influenced by soil phosphorus bioavailability, which depends largely on chemical fractions of phosphorus. The sequential fractionation technique developed by Hedley et al. or its subsequent modification is a well-known method to determine soil phosphorus forms. Hedley sequential fractionation technique separates the phosphorus into fractions based on their different chemical solubilities in extractants with certain chemical properties. Recently, synchrotron-based X-ray absorption near edge structure(XANES) spectroscopy has been employed to measure soil phosphorus species directly and non-invasively. The XANES method provides information concerning local structure and chemical information of target elements at a molecular level. Thus, it can distinguish phosphorus fractions bound by metal oxides or hydroxides(such as Fe, Al, and Ca). In this present work, the phosphorus speciation of topsoil along a glacial foreland chronosequence in Gongga Mountain is determined using these two methods. The changes in soil phosphorus bioavailability along the 120-year-old chronosequence are assessed based on comparisons of the results obtained by these two methods. The results indicate that Hedley sequential fractionation technique shows a greater ability to determine soil bioavailable phosphorus(Resin-P and NaCHO3-P), while XANES is effective in distinguishing phosphorus bound by metal compounds. In the chronosequence, Ca- and Al-bound phosphorus were derived mainly from primary minerals, whose phosphorus contents decreased within 120 years of moraine weathering and soil development. The content of soil bioavailable phosphorus increased rapidly after 30 years since deglaciation. | 12 | Compositions of aliphatic des-A-triterpenes in the Hani peat deposit,Northeast China and its biological significance显示文摘Aliphatic des-A-triterpenes,the degradation products of pentacyclic triterpenes have been tentatively assigned in samples taken from a 963-cm-thick peat sequence from the Hani region of Northeast China using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS)in order to understand and identify these des-A-triterpenes response to climate and ecology.The study indicates that aliphatic des-A-triterpenes are abundant in the Hani peat bog.The high relative abundance of the total des-A-triterpenes mainly occurs at the Holocene periods and is corresponding to the low sedimentation rate.The mechanism of des-A-triterpenes accumulation is not consistent with the previous studies.It is proposed that the biological community is also one influence factor.The obvious stage variations of the total des-A-triterpenes in the whole sequence reveal the different biological(microbes and plants) processes and responses,possibly revealing the four large replacements of biological community and functional composition in the swamp environment over the 16000 cal a BP.The low total des-A-triterpenes values occur at about 10200,8700,7700,6600,4480-3940 and 3040 cal a BP,reflecting the multiple millennial micro-environment oscillations under the macro-environment of the swamp during the Holocene.The ratios of diene and monoene des-A-triterpenes(DT/MT),des-A-lupane and diene and monoene des-A-triterpenes(DL/(DT+MT)),ratios ofindividual compounds exhibit vertical opposite to the total des-A-triterpenes. | 13 | Diversity of culturable heterotrophic bacteria from the Mariana Trench and their ability to degrade macromolecules显示文摘The Mariana Trench is the deepest location on earth and harbors unique microbial communities as evidenced by 16S rRNA gene amplicon and metagenomic sequencing.Obtaining culturable microorganisms from the Mariana Trench will contribute to a further understanding of hadal biogeochemical processes and act as a unique microbial reservoir with potential applications.Here,825 bacterial strains,identified by 16S rRNA gene sequencing,were isolated from 12 water depths(0-10,400 m)of the Mariana Trench with 2216E and R2A media at 4℃ or 28℃ on four cruises during 2015-2017.These bacteria belong to four phyla,nine classes,27 orders,45 families and 108 genera.Alphaproteobacteria,Gammaproteobacteria,Actinobacteria_c,Bacilli and Flavobacteriia were the most abundant classes,accounting for 37.9%,33.0%,11.8%,8.6%and 8.0%of the total bacterial isolates,respectively.2216E and R2A media were found to have a better selectivity to Bacilli and Flavobacteriia,respectively.Fifty strains were potential novel bacterial species with a 16S rRNA gene similarity<98.65%,and a higher percentage of novel strains were obtained from R2A than 2216E medium.Additionally,301(150 species)out of 354 strains(178 species)selected from each depth could degrade at least one of the ten kinds of macromolecules tested.These results indicate that there is a high diversity of culturable bacteria in the Mariana Trench and they can produce a variety of extracellular enzymes.Our study provides a valuable resource of microorganisms for investigating their biogeochemical roles in the Mariana Trench and for industrial applications. | Xiuxiu Zhao Jiwen Liu Shun Zhou Yanfen Zheng Yanhong Wu Kazuhiro Kogure Xiao-Hua Zhang | 2020 | Marine Life Science & Technology2020,2,2: | 5 |

| 17 | Spatiotemporal variations of actual evapotranspiration over the Lake Selin Co and surrounding small lakes(Tibetan Plateau)during 2003-2012显示文摘Actual evapotranspiration(ET_a) over the Tibetan Plateau(TP) is an important component of the water cycle,and greatly influences the water budgets of the TP lake basins.Quantitative estimation of ET_a within lake basins is fundamental to physically understanding ET_a changes,and thus will improve the understanding of the hydro logical processes and energy balance throughout the lake basins.In this study,the spatiotemporal dynamic changes of ET_α within the Lake Selin Co(the TP's largest lake) and its surrounding small lakes and land area during 2003-2012 are examined at the basin scale.This was carried out using the well-established Water and Energy Budget-based Distributed Hydrological Model(WEB-DHM) for the land area,the Penman method for the water area when unfrozen,and a simple sublimation estimation approach for the water area when frozen.The relationships between ET_a changes and controlling factors are also discussed.Results indicate that the simulated land ET_a from the WEB-DHM reasonably agrees with the estimated ET_a values from the nonlinear complementary relationship model using appropriately calibrated parameter values at a point scale.Land ET_a displayed a non-significant increase of 7.03 mm year^(-1),and largely depends on precipitation.For the water area,the combined effects of reduced wind speed and net radiation offset the effect of rising temperature and vapor pressure deficit,and contributed to a non-significant decrease in evaporation of 4.17 mm year^(-1).Sensitivity analysis shows that vapor pressure deficit and wind speed are the most sensitive variables to the changes of evaporation from the water area. | ZHOU Jing WANG Lei ZHANG YinSheng GUO YanHong HE Dan | 2016 | Science China(Information Sciences)2016,59,12: | 5 |

| 20 | Quality metrics and outcomes among critically ill patients in China:results of the national clinical quality control indicators for critical care medicine survey 2015-2019显示文摘Background:It is crucial to improve the quality of care provided to ICU patient,therefore a national survey of the medical quality of intensive care units(ICUs)was conducted to analyze adherence to quality metrics and outcomes among critically ill patients in China from 2015 to 2019.Methods:This was an ICU-level study based on a 15-indicator online survey conducted in China.Considering that ICU care quality may vary between secondary and tertiary hospitals,direct standardization was adopted to compare the rates of ICU quality indicators among provinces/regions.Multivariate analysis was performed to identify potential factors for in-hospital mortality and factors related to ventilator-associated pneumonia(VAP),catheter-related bloodstream infections(CRBSIs),and catheter-associated urinary tract infections(CAUTIs).Results:From the survey,the proportions of structural indicators were 1.83%for the number of ICU inpatients relative to the total number of inpatients,1.44%for ICU bed occupancy relative to the total inpatient bed occupancy,and 51.08%for inpatients with Acute Physiology and Chronic Health Evaluation II scores≥15.The proportions of procedural indicators were 74.37%and 76.60%for 3-hour and 6-hour surviving sepsis campaign bundle compliance,respectively,62.93%for microbiology detection,58.24%for deep vein thrombosis prophylaxis,1.49%for unplanned endotracheal extubations,1.99%for extubated inpatients reintubated within 48 hours,6.38%for unplanned transfer to the ICU,and 1.20%for 48-hour ICU readmission.The proportions of outcome indicators were 1.28‰for VAP,3.06‰for CRBSI,3.65‰for CAUTI,and 10.19%for in-hospital mortality.Although the indicators varied greatly across provinces and regions,the treatment level of ICUs in China has been stable and improved based on various quality control indicators in the past 5 years.The overall mortality rate has dropped from 10.19%to approximately 8%.Conclusions:The quality indicators of medical care in China’s ICUs are heterogeneous,which is reflected in geographic disparities and grades of hospitals.This study is of great significance for improving the homogeneity of ICUs in China. | Xi Rui Fen Dong Xudong Ma Longxiang Su Guangliang Shan Yanhong Guo Yun Long Dawei Liu Xiang Zhou | 2022 | Chinese Medical Journal2022,,9: | 4 |
