| 1 | FREQUENTIST MODEL AVERAGING ESTIMATION:A REVIEW显示文摘In applications, the traditional estimation procedure generally begins with model selection.Once a specific model is selected, subsequent estimation is conducted under the selected model withoutconsideration of the uncertainty from the selection process. This often leads to the underreportingof variability and too optimistic confidence sets. Model averaging estimation is an alternative to thisprocedure, which incorporates model uncertainty into the estimation process. In recent years, therehas been a rising interest in model averaging from the frequentist perspective, and some importantprogresses have been made. In this paper, the theory and methods on frequentist model averagingestimation are surveyed. | 2 | The effect of melt overheating on the melt structure transition and solidified structures of Sn-Bi40 alloy显示文摘Evolution of the electrical resistivity of Sn-40wt%Bi melt with time under different overheating temperatures during isothermal experiments has been studied, and the relationship between different melt state, solidification behavior and solidified structure has also been investigated. The results show that the melt structure transition revealed by the abnormal change of resistivity would take place within a certain holding time just when the holding temperature is above a certain critical, and that the higher the temperature above the critical, the shorter the 'incubation period' of the melt structure transition, and the faster the transition speed. The results of solidification experiments suggest that the melt structure transition caused by different holding time at the same temperature can lead to a higher so-lidification undercooling degree, finer grain size and change of microscopic pattern. Further exploration indicates that the solidification undercooling degree can come to a head when the melt is held at the specific temperature for a given time. | 3 | Effects of Ce-rich RE on microstructure and mechanical properties of as-cast Mg-8Li-3Al-2Zn-0.5Nd alloy with duplex structure显示文摘The effects of Ce-rich RE on the microstructure and mechanical properties of as-cast Mg-8Li-3Al-2Zn-0.5Nd-x RE(x = 0, 1, 2, 3 wt%) alloys were investigated. The results indicated that the as-cast Mg-8Li-3Al-2Zn-0.5Nd alloy mainly consisted of α-Mg, β-Li, AlLi, MgLi2 Al and Al2 Nd phases. With the addition of Ce-rich RE in the alloy,Al3 RE and Al2 RE phases generated and gradually grew into net-like or block-like structure. With the addition of RE, Al-RE phases generated by consuming Al element and, thus, less Al element was dissolved in the matrix and less AlLi phase formed. Furthermore, less AlLi phase means that more Li element released to cause the increase ofβ-Li phase and refine the α-Mg phase. Under the influence of these factors, adding more RE led to higher elongation and lower tensile strength and hardness. | 10 | Choice of weights in FMA estimators under general parametric models显示文摘The choice of weights in frequentist model average estimators is an important but difficult problem. Liang et al. (2011) suggested a criterion for the choice of weight under a general parametric framework which is termed as the generalized OPT (GOPT) criterion in the present paper. However, no properties and applications of the criterion have been studied. This paper is devoted to the further investigation of the GOPT criterion. We show that how to use this criterion for comparison of some existing weights such as the smoothed AIC-based and BIC-based weights and for the choice between model averaging and model selection. Its connection to the Mallows and ordinary OPT criteria is built. The asymptotic optimality on the criterion in the case of non-random weights is also obtained. Finite sample performance of the GOPT criterion is assessed by simulations. | 18 | N,O co-doped porous carbon with rich pseudocapacitive groups exhibiting superior energy density in an acidic 2.4 V Li_(2)SO_(4)electrolyte显示文摘Designing a carbon material with a unique composition and surface functional groups for offering high specific capacity in a wide voltage window is of great significance to improve the energy density for the supercapacitor in a cheap and eco-friendly aqueous electrolyte.Herein,we develop an efficient strategy to synthesize a N,O co-doped hierarchically porous carbon(NODPC-1.0)with moderate specific surface area and pore volume as well as rich heteroatoms using a deep eutectic solvent(DES)as an activator.It is found that NODPC-1.0 with a large proportion of pseudocapacitive functional groups(pyrrole-N,pyridineN and carbonyl-quinone)can work stable in an acidic 2 mol/L Li_(2)SO_(4)(pH 2.5)electrolyte,exhibiting specific capacities of 375 and 186 F/g at the current densities of 1.0 and 100 A/g,respectively.Also,the assembled symmetric capacitor using the NODPC-1.0 as the active material and 2 mol/L acidic Li_(2)SO_(4)(pH 2.5)as the electrolyte shows an outstanding energy density of 74.4 Wh/kg at a high power density of 1.44 k W/kg under a broad voltage window(2.4 V).Relevant comparative experiments indicate that H+of the acidic aqueous electrolyte plays a crucial part in enhancement the specific capacity,and the abundant pseudocapacitive functional groups on the surface of the NODPC-1.0 sample play the key role in the improvement of electrochemical cycle stability under a broad voltage window. | Xiao Wang Kaixiang Zou Weijing Wu Yuanfu Deng Guohua Chen | 2022 | Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,8: | 0 |

Post-J test inference means that the inference problem is considered by taking the first stage J test into account. We first propose a post-J test estimator and derive its asymptotic distribution. We then consider the test problem of the unknown parameters, and a Wald statistic based on the post-J test estimator is proposed. A simulation study shows that the proposed Wald statistic works perfectly as well as the two-stage test from the view of the empirical size and power in large-sample cases, and when the sample size is small, it is even better.
