1Single event upset rate modeling for ultra-deep submicron complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor devices显示文摘Based on the integral method of single event upset(SEU) rate and an improved charge collection model for ultra-deep submicron complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor(CMOS) devices, three methods of SEU rate calculation are verified and compared. The results show that the integral method and the figure of merit(FOM) methods are basically consistent at the ultra-deep submicron level. 2Cu^2+ reduces hemolytic activity of the antimicrobial peptide HMPI and enhances its trypsin resistance显示文摘Nowadays,drug-resistant microbes are becoming a serious clinical problem threatening people's health and life.An timicrobial peptides(AMPs)are believed to be pote ntial alter natives of con-ventional antibiotics to combat the threat of drug-resistant microbes.However,the susceptibility of AMPs toward proteases is one of the major problems limiting their clinical use.In the present study,we reported the effect of Cu^2+on the bioactivity of AMP HMPI.We found that the addition of Cu^2+could improve the protease resistance of AMP HMPI without affecting its bioactivity.Notably,after the binding of Cu^2+with HMPI,the hemolytic activity of HMPI was greatly decreased.In additi on,our results also demonstrated that the addition of Cu^2+in creased the production of reactive oxygen species in the fun gal cells,which may be a suppleme nt for the antifungal activity of HMPI.In con elusion,the introduction of Cu^2+may provide an inorganic strategy to improve the stability and decrease the hemolytic activity of AMP HMPI,while maintaining its antifungal activity.Jinxiu Peng Yang Yang Ping Zhao Shuai Qiu Fengjing Jia Jiayi Wang Xiaolei Liang Ahmed Shabbir Chaudhry Peihan Xu Wenjin Yan Zhaoqing Xu Kairong Wang 2020Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2020,52,6:2
3A full-length 3D structure for MAPK/ERK kinase 2 (MEK2)显示文摘As a pivotal signal pathway,the Ras/Raf/MEK/ERK cascade can be activated by multiple extracellular stimuli and can transmit signals to diverse substrates.It remains to be elucidated how so many different signals can be variously transferred by only two MEK molecules(MEK1 and MEK2) .Because of technological limitations the complete structures of the MEKs are still unavailable.Here,we report the full-length structure of MEK2 obtained by homology modeling and molecular dynamics simulations.The simulations show that the N-terminal part of MEK2 is highly flexible and this flexibility may enable MEK2 to interact with ERKs and other ligands in diverse manners that correspond to various upstream signals and downstream consequences.LIANG Hao LIU Tao CHEN FangJin LIU ZhaoQing LIU ShaoJun 2011Science China(Life Sciences)2011,54,4:2
4Host protection against Omicron BA.2.2 sublineages by prior vaccination in spring 2022 COVID-19 outbreak in Shanghai显示文摘The Omicron family of SARS-CoV-2 variants are currently driving the COVID-19 pandemic.Here we analyzed the clinical laboratory test results of 9911 Omicron BA.2.2 sublineages-infected symptomatic patients without earlier infection histories during a SARS-CoV-2 outbreak in Shanghai in spring 2022.Compared to an earlier patient cohort infected by SARS-CoV-2 prototype strains in 2020,BA.2.2 infection led to distinct fluctuations of pathophysiological markers in the peripheral blood.In particular,severe/critical cases of COVID19 post BA.2.2 infection were associated with less pro-inflammatory macrophage activation and stronger interferon alpha response in the bronchoalveolar microenvironment.Importantly,the abnormal biomarkers were significantly subdued in individuals who had been immunized by 2 or 3 doses of SARS-CoV-2 prototypeinactivated vaccines,supporting the estimation of an overall 96.02% of protection rate against severe/critical disease in the 4854 cases in our BA.2.2 patient cohort with traceable vaccination records.Furthermore,even though age was a critical risk factor of the severity of COVID-19 post BA.2.2 infection,vaccination-elicited protection against severe/critical COVID-19 reached 90.15% in patients aged≥60 years old.Together,our study delineates the pathophysiological features of Omicron BA.2.2 sublineages and demonstrates significant protection conferred by prior prototype-based inactivated vaccines.Ziyu Fu Dongguo Liang Wei Zhang Dongling Shi Yuhua Ma Dong Wei Junxiang Xi Sizhe Yang Xiaoguang Xu Di Tian Zhaoqing Zhu Mingquan Guo Lu Jiang Shuting Yu Shuai Wang Fangyin Jiang Yun Ling Shengyue Wang Saijuan Chen Feng Liu Yun Tan Xiaohong Fan 2023Frontiers of Medicine2023,17,3:1
5Hybrid metasurface using graphene/graphitic carbon nitride heterojunctions for ultrasensitive terahertz biosensors with tunable energy band structure显示文摘Integrating novel materials is critical for the ultrasensitive,multi-dimensional detection of biomolecules in the terahertz(THz)range.Few studies on THz biosensors have used semiconductive active layers with tunable energy band structures.In this study,we demonstrate three THz biosensors for detecting casein molecules based on the hybridization of the metasurface with graphitic carbon nitride,graphene,and heterojunction.We achieved lowconcentration detection of casein molecules with a 3.54 ng/m L limit and multi-dimensional sensing by observing three degrees of variations(frequency shift,transmission difference,and phase difference).The favorable effect of casein on the conductivity of the semiconductive active layer can be used to explain the internal sensing mechanism.The incorporation of protein molecules changes the carrier concentration on the surface of the semiconductor active layer via the electrostatic doping effect as the concentration of positively charged casein grows,which alters the energy band structure and the conductivity of the active layer.The measured results indicate that any casein concentration can be distinguished directly by observing variations in resonance frequency,transmission value,and phase difference.With the heterojunction,the biosensor showed the highest response to the protein among the three biosensors.The Silvaco Atlas package was used to simulate the three samples'energy band structure and carrier transport to demonstrate the benefits of the heterojunction for the sensor.The simulation results validated our proposed theoretical mechanism model.Our proposed biosensors could provide a novel approach for THz metasurface-based ultrasensitive biosensing technologies.HAIYUN YAO ZHAOQING SUN LANJU LIANG XIN YAN YARUWANG MAOSHENG YANG XIAOFEI HU ZIQUN WANG ZHENHUA LI MENG WANG CHUANXIN HUANG QILI YANG ZHONGJUN TIAN JIANQUAN YAO 2023Photonics Research2023,11,5:0
6Regulating local chemistry in ZrCo-based orthorhombic hydrides via increasing atomic interference for ultra-stable hydrogen isotopes storage显示文摘Developing a universal and reliable strategy for the modulation of composition and structure of energy storage materials with stable cycling performance is vital for hydrogen and its isotopes storage advanced system,yet still challenging.Herein,an ultra-stable lattice structure is designed and verified to increase atomic chaos and interference for effectively inhibiting disproportionation reaction and improving cycling stability in ZrCo-based hydrogen isotopes storage alloy.After screening in terms of configuration entropy calculation,we construct Zr_(1-2)Nb_(x)Co_(1-2x)Cu_(x)Ni_(x)(x=0.15,0.2,0.25) alloys with increased atomic chaos,and successfully achieve stable isostructural de-/hydrogenation during 100 cycles,whose cycling capacity retentions are above 99%,much higher than 22.4%of pristine ZrCo alloy.Both theoretical analysis and experimental evidences indicate the high thermo-stability of orthorhombic lattice in Zr_(0.8)Nb_(0.2)Co_(0.6)Cu_(0.2)Ni_(0.2) alloy.Notably,the increased atomic chaos and interference in Zr_(0.8)Nb_(0.2)Co_(0.6)Cu_(0.2)Ni_(0.2) alloy causes regulation in hydrogen local chemical neighborhood,thereby confusing the hydrogen release order,which effectively eliminates lattice distortion and unlocks an ultrastable lattice structure.This study provides a new and comprehensive inspiration for hydrogen atoms transport behaviors and intrinsic reason of stable orthorhombic transformation,which can contribute to paving the way for other energy storage materials modulation.Zhaoqing Liang Zhendong Yao Ruhong Li Xuezhang Xiao Zhichao Ye Xuancheng Wang Jiacheng Qi Jiapeng Bi Xiulin Fan Huaqin Kou Wenhua Luo Changan Chen Lixin Chen 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,6:0
7Construction of Regional Grain Industry Chain and Supply Chain in Yunnan Province显示文摘As a southwestern border province of China,Yunnan is featured by the geographical advantage of proximity to the Indo-China Peninsula which is known as World Rice Warehouse,and its capital and technology are ahead of the neighboring countries of China.Therefore,to enhance its support capability in consolidating and improving the national food security strategy,Yunnan should further develop its comparative advantages by building the regional food industry chain and supply chain depending on the province's grain system of production,processing,storage and transportation,as well as its agricultural economic and trade cooperation platforms and channels with the neighboring countries of China.In this study,comparative analysis and related methods were used to systematically analyze the scale of grain production in Yunnan,the proportion of its grain production to the national total amount,the transition of its grain variety structure and the characteristics of its food security system,as well as the grain export trade of the 6 countries in the Indo-China Peninsula from 2010 to 2019.Then,the problems in grain production in Yunnan were clarified,such as the decrease of grain ration production capacity,the decline of comparative benefits of grain production and the insufficient support for agricultural'going global'strategy.Finally,a series of countermeasures were put forward,including further implementing the strategy of'reserving grain in land and technology'to increase Yunnan's production capacity of grain,focusing on agricultural products storage and transportation system to improve the ability to obtain grain from abroad,expanding the border processing and logistics industry,optimizing the policy of agricultural products'import and export,and etc.Xuejiao WANG Liang LI Zhaoqing MAO Longwei LI Liangzheng CHEN 2022Agricultural Biotechnology2022,11,4:0
8Bovine Placental Bioactive Proteins Preparation and Efficacy Evaluation显示文摘Taking the qualified bovine placenta as the research object,a series of pure physical separation and extraction processes such as tissue fragmentation,ultrasound,freeze-thawed,centrifugation and filtration were used to prepare the bovine placental bioactive proteins.The results of protein concentration showed that bovine placental bioactive proteins prepared in this study could reach(11.33±2.09)mg/mL under optimal experimental condition.The determination of specific components showed that there were abundant exosome like vesicles in the product with particle size ranging from 30 to 150 nm,pie structure under transmission electron microscope and expressing CD9,CD63 and TSG101 by western blot detection.The results of cell efficacy evaluation showed that bovine placental bioactive proteins could significantly promote the proliferation of human skin fibroblasts and had anti-inflammatory effect via down-regulating IL-6 and TNF-αexpressionin RAW264.7 cells.Li Xuejia Jiang Jiaohua Tang Huijuan Liang Jiafu Zhang Zhaoqing Qi Kangyi Yue Kun Ma yanyan Chen donghuang Chen Haijia Pang keliang 2023China Detergent & Cosmetics2023,8,2:0
