| 1 | Anatomical variation of infra-pyloric artery origination: A prospective multicenter observational study (IPA-Origin)显示文摘Objective: Infra-pyloric artery(IPA) is an important anatomical landmark in treatment of gastric cancer and is the key vessel for pylorus-preserving gastrectomy and subgroup of infra-pyloric lymph nodes. However, its anatomical variation is not thoroughly understood. Our study aimed to clarify the origination of the IPA.Methods: We did this prospective, multicenter, open-label, observational study at gastric surgery departments of34 hospitals in China. Gastric cancer patients aged 18 years or older and scheduled to undergo elective total or distal gastrectomy were assigned. During the surgery, IPA dissecting and exposing the origination point with photographs or video clips were required. The primary outcome was the origination of the IPA. Analysis of variance, χ~2 tests and Fisher's tests were used to analyze the differences between groups. The study is registered at Clinicaltrials.gov(No. NCT03071237).Results: Between May 8 and July 31, 2017, 429 patients were assigned for the study, and 419(97.7%) patients had the IPA dissected and recorded through photograph or video and were included in the primary outcome analysis. The median age was 62 years old, and 73.7% were male. Among the patients, 78.5% received laparoscopic surgery. Single IPA origination was identified in 398(95.0%) patients, including gastroduodenal artery(GDA) in154(36.8%) patients, anterior superior pancreaticoduodenal artery(ASPDA) in 130(31.0%) patients, and right gastroepiploic artery(RGEA) in 114(27.2%) patients. Fifteen(3.6%) patients were identified with multiple IPA and 6(1.4%) patients were identified as IPA absence. The differences in the distribution of surgical approach(P=0.003) and geographic area(P=0.030) were statistically significant. | 3 | Tectono–sedimentary Evolution of the Late Triassic Xujiahe Formation in the Sichuan Basin显示文摘The early stage of Sichuan Basin formation was controlled by the convergence of three major Chinese continental blocks during the Indosinian orogeny that include South China,North China,and Qiangtang blocks.Although the Late Triassic Xujiahe Formation is assumed to represent the commencement of continental deposition in the Sichuan Basin,little research is available on the details of this particular stratum.Sequence stratigraphic analysis reveals that the Xujiahe Formation comprises four third-order depositional sequences.Moreover,two tectono–sedimentary evolution stages,deposition and denudation,have been identified.Typical wedge-shaped geometry revealed in a cross section of the southern Sichuan Basin normal to the Longmen Shan fold–thrust belt is displayed for the entire Xujiahe Formation.The depositional extent did not cover the Luzhou paleohigh during the LST1 to LST2(LST,TST and HST mean lowstand,transgressive and highstand systems tracts,1,2,3 and 4 represent depositional sequence 1,2,3 and 4),deltaic and fluvial systems fed sediments from the Longmen Shan belt,Luzhou paleohigh,Hannan dome,and Daba Shan paleohigh into a foreland basin with a centrally located lake.The forebulge of the western Sichuan foreland basin was located southeast of the Luzhou paleohigh after LST2.According to the principle of nonmarine sequence stratigraphy and the lithology of the Xujiahe Formation,four thrusting events in the Longmen Shan fold–thrust belt were distinguished,corresponding to the basal boundaries of sequences 1,2,3,and 4.The northern Sichuan Basin was tilted after the deposition of sequence 3,inducing intensive erosion of sequences 3 and 4,and formation of wedge-shaped deposition geometry in sequence 4 from south to north.The tilting probably resulted from small-scale subduction and exhumation of the western South China block during the South and North China block collision. | LUO Liang JIA Dong QI Jiafu WEI Guoqi DENG Fei | 2013 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2013,87,6: | 4 |

| 6 | Detrital Zircon U-Pb Geochronology and Provenance of the Hebukesaier Formation in the Shaerbuerti Mountains,Northern West Junggar:Implication for Devonian Subduction of the Junggar–Balkhash Ocean显示文摘Limited Devonian magmatic record in northern West Junggar leads to contrasting models on its tectonic evolution.In this study,we conducted LA-ICP-MS U-Pb dating on detrital zircons of two sandstones from the Hebukesaier Formation in the Shaerbuerti Mountains.Detrital zircons with oscillatory zoning are characterized by high Th/U(>0.3)and low La/Yb(<0.15),indicating their magmatic origin.The youngest zircon ages of two samples are 402±2 Ma and 406±2 Ma,respectively,suggesting that the Hebukesaier Formation was deposited at the Early Devonian.Detrital zircon age patterns show single peaks(at ca.424 Ma,n=157),which indicates that these clastics were likely proximal accumulation after short distance transportation.Provenance of the Hebukesaier Formation was the Xiemisitai and Shaerbuerti Mountains.Detrital zircon ages range from 481 Ma to 395 Ma,which indicates that there was relatively continuous Early Paleozoic magmatism in the Xiemisitai and Shaerbuerti Mountains since the Early Ordovician.Age spectrums of sampled detrital zircons are distinct from those of Lower Devonian strata either in southern West Junggar or in East Junggar,which implies for individual tectonic evolution of northern West Junggar.We favor that Lower Devonian Hebukesaier Formation was developed in a fore–arc setting due to the northward subduction of the Junggar–Balkhash Ocean. | LIANG Hao CHEN Jiafu MA Xu YANG Hongzhang XIN Mingyang | 2020 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2020,94,5: | 2 |

| 16 | Cenozoic Crustally-derived Carbonate-rich Magmatic Rocks in West Junggar,North Xinjiang,Western China:Geochronology,Geochemistry and Tectonic Implications显示文摘The carbonate-rich magmatic rocks of West Junggar are distributed in the Baijiantan and Darbut ophiolitic mélanges in the forms of extrusive rocks overlying the mélanges and dykes,either along the margins of the mélange or cross-cutting components of mélanges.Chilled margin and flow structures are present.A SHRIMP zircon U-Pb age of 39.7±1.3 Ma indicates that these carbonate-rich rocks in West Junggar were formed during the Eocene.They have low concentrations in REEs,Th,U,Nb,Ta and are characterized by extremely lowεN d(t),high(87 Sr/86 Sr)i ratios,relatively highδ18 OV-SMOW values and highδ13 CV-PDB values,which is similar with most sedimentary carbonates.Furthermore,no contemporaneous mantle-derived silicate rocks have yet been found in West Junggar.The carbonate-rich rocks in West Junggar are thus distinct from mantle-derived carbonatites and are interpreted to result from melting of the Carboniferous sedimentary carbonates at crustal levels,these rocks therefore being referred to as’crustal carbonatites’.The Eocene crustal carbonatites in West Junggar and other Cenozoic magmatic rocks in North Xinjiang are generally situated along regional strike-slip faults or fault intersections.Therefore,we propose that the reactivation of the Darbut and Baijiantan crustal-scale strike-slip fault zones(ophiolitic mélanges),due to the far-field effects of the Indian-Eurasian collision,enables decompression melting of the underlying continental lithospheric mantle.These resulting melts ascended to the lower crust through the strike-slip faults,causing partial melting of the Carboniferous carbonaceous sediments.The crustal carbonatites in West Junggar provide a new piece of evidence for Cenozoic magmatism in North Xinjiang and are also significant for the investigation of tectono-magmatic relations in North Xinjiang and the Central Asian Orogenic Belt. | CHEN Shi LIANG Xinxin ZHANG Yuanyuan GUO Zhaojie QI Jiafu | 2021 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2021,95,4: | 0 |
| 17 | Crystal structures of catalytic and regulatory subunits of rat protein kinase CK2显示文摘Protein kinase CK2 consists of two catalytic subunits (CK2α) and two regulatory subunits (CK2β). Here, we report the crystal structures of rat CK2α mutant (rCK2α-△C, 1—335) and CK2β (rCK2β). The overall topology of rCK2α-△C and rCK2β are very similar to the human enzyme, although large structural differences could be observed in the N-terminal domain of rCK2α-△C. Our reported structure of rCK2α-△C is in the close conformation state while the counterpart hCK2α is in the open conformation state, indi- cating the conformation of CK2α molecule has high plasticity. The structure of rCK2β represents the conformation of free CK2β. Upon CK2α binding, the C-terminal region undergoes a drastic conformational change. | 19 | Data mining-based model and risk prediction of colorectal cancer by using secondary health data:A systematic review显示文摘Objective:Prevention and early detection of colorectal cancer(CRC)can increase the chances of successful treatment and reduce burden.Various data mining technologies have been utilized to strengthen the early detection of CRC in primary care.Evidence synthesis on the model’s effectiveness is scant.This systematic review synthesizes studies that examine the effect of data mining on improving risk prediction of CRC.Methods:The PRISMA framework guided the conduct of this study.We obtained papers via Pub Med,Cochrane Library,EMBASE and Google Scholar.Quality appraisal was performed using Downs and Black’s quality checklist.To evaluate the performance of included models,the values of specificity and sensitivity were comparted,the values of area under the curve(AUC)were plotted,and the median of overall AUC of included studies was computed.Results:A total of 316 studies were reviewed for full text.Seven articles were included.Included studies implement techniques including artificial neural networks,Bayesian networks and decision trees.Six articles reported the overall model accuracy.Overall,the median AUC is 0.8243[interquartile range(IQR):0.8050-0.8886].In the two articles that reported comparison results with traditional models,the data mining method performed better than the traditional models,with the best AUC improvement of 10.7%.Conclusions:The adoption of data mining technologies for CRC detection is at an early stage.Limited numbers of included articles and heterogeneity of those studies implied that more rigorous research is expected to further investigate the techniques’effects. | Hailun Liang Lei Yang Lei Tao Leiyu Shi Wuyang Yang Jiawei Bai Da Zheng Ning Wang Jiafu Ji | 2020 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2020,32,2: | 0 |
